It was an unusually noisy night in West Capitol this night. For it was the night of the new Watcher movie titled “The Watcher and The Monkey”. Pota was surprised when Kaci woke him up in the middle of the night to show him the new trailer for the movie a couple of months back. He went to school the next day and showed Gira the trailer as well teasing her how neither of the actors looked like either of them. As it so happened they had both meet the director of the movie unknowingly before. The up and coming movie director Jacket Cotton had been on his way from the store one day trying to think up a good action themed movie which would speak to the people of West Capitol. He had lost himself in thought so much that he didn’t notice he took a wrong turn down a dark alley which lead to an encounter with some questionable characters.
One thing lead to another and before he could react a hero stood between him and his perpetrators. They took one look at the the young woman (The Watcher) and ran for their lives before getting to the other end of the alley and ran smack dab into another hero (The Monkey Man). The two heroes made quick work of the would-be thugs and the Monkey man left them tied in the alley while the Watcher called the police for a pick up. Before leaving she simply stated that should he ever need help one only needs to call for the Watcher and her faithful side kick The Monkey Man and flew off.
Since then he had plenty of inspiration for his movie and tonight was the night that everyone was waiting for. Pota was at Sora’s diner helping him with the rush the premier had instigated. Usually Pota would be disappointed with not being able to go watch the movie. But he loved to cook as much if not more than seeing the results of his hero work become a thing of fame. Which even if he wanted to see such things he only needed open his ears and listen to the chatter of the diner. There were people going to and coming from the movie. So, there was no shortage of admirers of both The Watcher and The Monkey Man in the diner chatting away about the new movie about him and Gira.
“My favorite part was when The Watcher used her Watcher Cannon to defeat Dr. Ruby! That was amazing!” Said a girl to a boy across the table from her excitedly as he sipped her milkshake.

“I know and what about the part where the Monkey Man used his Gorilla Punch to take out that Mech! That gave me chills!!” They continued like this while Pota cleaned off a table, seated new customers and took their orders. At one point he heard them arguing over who would be the sidekick of the other should they become heroes like their new role models. Smiling as he went over to Sora he put the tab with the new order along with all the others that had piled up on the front desk.
“New order do you need me to get it?” He asked his employer as Sora shook his head.
“That’s alright Pota I got it from here you take your break before the next show is over and the rush gets here. Besides you have a visitor.” He gestured over to the door as Pota looked his heart nearly jumped into his throat. There stood a girl around his age with dark spiky hair much like Pota’s which shot off to the right a little though it was shorter than his and curved down just above her eye brow a little. She stood at about five feet seven inches which was a head shorter than Pota was and sported the trade mark dark eyes that Saiyan’s usually had. Pota knew her immediately her name was Egabbac he had met her and her mother, Otamat, a few weeks ago on his first delivery for Sora when he hired him on as a cook. Ever since then he had trained with her mom to control his Oozaru form which he had made great progress on.
What he was having trouble with was that every time he had been around her he couldn’t help but feel odd. Like he was terrified and overjoyed at the same time. Also, she kept bringing him and her mom food when they trained something Otamat told him she never did for her in the past hence their patronage to Sora’s diner. This confused Pota even more until he inquired Kaci about all of it. Which all he got out of that was a chuckle and an amused grin as she told him to ask Gira about it. Claiming she would have more hands-on experience. Pota hadn’t had a chance to do so now however leaving him confused and overthinking the situation.
‘Alright what could she be here for she usually stays at home? Oh, Kami have I offended her somehow? Did I make a bad comment about her food?! Damn my overly critical cook mind!!’ The young Saiyan scolded himself in his own head as he approached her then he noticed she looked a little nervous. This was unlike her she was usually very confident she had even briefly sparred him once. Which was the one time he interacted her without him feeling like he was going to keel over from a heart attack. As he got up to her he greeted her. “Hey there Egabbac. What’s up did your Mom send you out here with a new training regimen??”
“No, she says you’re doing really well with training...” She looked down and blushed a little which in turn caused Pota to turn a shade of red as well. As she reached into her pocket she revealed two tickets with the title of the new movie that was showing tonight only the dates were for tomorrow and held one out for him. “I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies tomorrow. Mom bought these for us. She says it’s her was her way of awarding you for your hard work.” Pota smiled and took the ticket then suddenly a thought crossed his mind.
“Wait is she rewarding you too, I mean you deserve it your cooking has been awesome these past weeks but I thought you didn’t like action movies?” Pota asked as she turned more red realizing Pota had caught on then he really caught on. ‘Oh my Kami she’s asking me out on a date!’ Pota thought as she smiled at him innocently. “Y-yeah sure I’ll see you then.” She nearly jumped for joy before giving Pota a tight hug making him turn completely red.

“See you tomorrow at 5:00 Pota!” She called back at him. As Pota walked back over to Sora the older man looked at him and smiled.
“You want tomorrow off?” Pota looked at him and simply nodded before continuing with his work. With a face as red as a cherry and a mood like he had just been handed the world.
