Matt reclined in the trees, having not to work today? That was good, when and if he got a home? That was gonna be good, then he'd be able to do a lot of good work. However the dull hum of the day bored him, he couldn't just relax anymore. There was blood pumping in his veins that refused to settle down just yet, with the feeling that slowing down might be the difference between keeping people safe and being helpless. He gritted his teeth, and jumped down from the tree, noting the animals dispersing from around him. something that hadn't happened ever since he accepted his energy, his self. It concerned him a little bit, the most worrying thing to him that forced him to hold himself back, was the idea that the Saiyan blood in him was always around the corner, ready to take his senses and rob him of the happiness in his life. Pushing back every facet of himself to protect the ones he loved. Matt's energy began to whip a little, the soft expanded edges of his ki started to compress in some places, like something was pushing it back.
The Dam, the dam was starting to be rebuilt in his wavering confidence in himself. It was a little too scary in concept to think that the animals now starting to consider him threatening meant that he could be incorrect in his new acceptance. He shook his head [No! Pieter wouldn't... I...? Did I misinterpret him?] He placed his hands on the side of his head, and ran far into the forest as if he was retreating into himself again. Deeper and deeper till he found a clearing that was covered by trees. He was alone. He was alone to be able to think now. He tried to stifle it however by forcing out his Multiform technique. However, something felt off. This technique required the synchronization of himself and his ki that he had started blocking up again. His aura which flared up life like a large bonfire started to darken, flecks of deep green pulling itself away from Matt's original aura to create the clone. Matt opened his eyes to see a clone that had the original hairstyle he had up until his excursion with Pieter. The look in his eyes wild. Matt was stricken with something that he realized resembled fear. Fear of himself. Wait! This isn't how it works! He needed to pull his clone back in, try again an-
CRACK! Matt felt a fist connect against his cheek. The Clone had immediately sucker-punched him, his fist sinking deep into his unprepared cheek and even pushing as far as the bone to cause it trauma. Matt flew back, as he looked up. He saw the flowing dark green aura of the clone, as it looked back to him "gET UP!" It called out, charging up an energy ball and aiming it at Matt. Panic gripped him, and he realized even at an evenly distributed 50% This was made to hurt someone! Himself! He backed up and scrambled to his feet, only for his ankle to be caught with the attack, the sound came out like a shotgun and the energy that ripped through his epidermis which caused crimson to leak out immediately, trying to act as damage control. Matt jumped back and stood on one foot, trying to shake off the pain of his ankle. However, the clone was not merciful. It rushed in, swung wide and caught Matt's side, he winced and curled in response towards the fist. Only to be met with a sideways knee that made him fly into the treeline. "Agh!" He coughed out, flying through the air. [Flight! I have to get out! I have to get to Pieter! He can help!] His aura turned on, but something felt off, it took more stamina to control his energy as it flared wildly with indecision and self-doubt. He took off into the sky, but he was met with the sight of the clone speeding right past him and pausing
"gOING TO RUN TO PIETER?" The clone called out, tensing up its muscles and swinging a kick at Matt's head, knocking him downwards spiking him to the ground. "aRE YOU GOING TO RUN TO HIM IF SOMEONE ATTACKS iRADANA? pATHETIC, WE SHOULD HAVE JUST JOINED PURIKA. aT LEAST THEN WE'D SEE THEM BEFORE THEY DIED." The clone sped downward, spearing matt's gut with a kick, nearly breaking the skin. Matt couldn't hold it, he hurled up bile in his gut, and the strength left him, as well as the air in his lungs. As they landed, the foot dug deeper into his gut, pushing on his organs. Matt shouted, and screamed in pain as he felt his organs stretch their best so that they didn't just shred. He grasped the clone's ankle and try to pry it off... "iS THIS IT?" It said mockingly, pushing harder into his gut. only to blink in surprise as Matt's aura became jagged from his inner confliction. He tried creating an energy ball, but even trying to make it in this condition resulted in a dull green shell that exploded, dealing minimal damage to the clone, and nearly breaking the bones in his hand as it rocketed back to the floor. but it did get his foot off.
The clone stumbled back, and grunted. "iF YOU'RE GOING TO PRETEND LIKE SAIYAN BLOOD IS GOING TO LEAD TO OUR FAMILY'S DEMISE, THEN WERE DELUSIONAL. YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO GET THEM KILLED."
Matt growled and got up. A few animals gathering around jumped in surprise and scattered off in fear. He tried once more, charging forward and charging an energy ball, knowing full well it could blow up in this state. "Shut up! You're my problem! This! Bloodlusted murderous- Psychopathic! I'll destroy this part of me! I won't let it hurt anyone else!" As he got close, the clone's wild look calmed enough to a look of disappointment. It reached out and grabbed Matt's hand, exerting enough force to cause the charge to outright dissipate.
"yOU'RE THE PROBLEM." and throws Matt to the side. "iM GOING HOME." He began to walk off.
Rage. Disappointment. Frustration. Fear. It flooded into him, it infected him. When he was thrown to the ground he had an epiphanous moment as he remembered how the elders described the inner demons. Rage, disappointment, frustration. Mattenes, this is the inner demons festering in you. You have to mediate child if you want to exhume those parts of yourself. It became clear. He was the problem. This fearful facet of him. If he just kept ripping out the parts of him to keep himself meak, is that really keeping them safe? I-I wanna protect my family...

I-I wanna protect my family.
The thought was like a bomb going off in his head, blowing up that dam right down to the foundation. The explanation he gave Pieter. It's why he's competitive. He wants to be the best to be sure nobody could harm his family. He wanted to learn to fight to defend his family. He wanted to impress. He wanted to impress... her...
His aura calmed. It was no stream of water, it was no flame. It was himself. It wasn't tranquility, but it wasn't burning self-hatred. He pulled his hands up as flecks of light gathered, and orange and blue energy swirled together, thinking to try the one thing he never got to test out. In this moment. "I want..." he began, his voice starting out quivering, trying to hold back small tears that had encroached his sight from how long it took him to figure this out. he was sad it took so long, he could have been home by now. He could have brought Kasey here... to earth. He wanted to stay here. "To protect...!"
The clone turned, the wild expression only a calm smile as he turned and opened up his arms to receive the soon to be fired technique.
"My family!" He called out, pulling his hands in front of him and assuming a wide stance. before calling out anything that came to mind

"TROPICAL. . . WAVE!"
The almost gaseous energy condensed into a ball in that moment, and fired like a fire fighter's water hose, tearing up the ground beneath him as he was pushed back slowly as he fired it, hearing a pop in his shoulder signifying a dislocation of his shoulder. He readjusted one foot, planting it firmly on the ground and shouting for vigor now, holding on the A of the wave. It smacked into the clone's body and slammed it into a tree, eventually the tree gave in and crumpled over the wave, pushing the clone further, and further back. As the beam finally thinned, then dissipated. Matt's left arm went limp. and his right arm just hung out. He panted, exhausted. but he had to have closure. He forced himself to walk where he blasted the clone. Animals, while not fleeing, weren't approaching. Matt saw and just sighed, continuing down the torn up ground to a final tree that hadn't entirely given way. The clone was there, nearly charred from the blast. Though, even though it didn't seem like it could, it spoke. "See? Now we can go see Pieter." before the form turned to the dark green energy, and went back to Mattenes. Restoring his full PL. Matt nodded, looking at his right hand and then looking at the sky. "I'm coming, and I'm gonna ask if you wanna come home with me." He said to the sky, hoping in the most minuscule way, that his childhood friend might hear. before he collapsed to the ground. He felt a wave of warmth, as his eyes began to grow heavy [I'm gonna... ima take a nap... man i'm glad I dont have to work tomorrow. I don't think I could explain the dislocated shoulder]
