"Alright!" Gira celebrated as both her and Wyntre's attacks struck the abomination from the deep, tearing it asunder and leaving it a dead heap of flesh. She turned to the Arcosian and gave her a thumbs up and a big grin. "We kicked some ass! Nice going there." Wyntre then mentioned that she wasn't sure if a monster like what they fought could actually be found on Earth. Gira thought back to all the fish she had seen in the ocean, but she couldn't recall seeing a sea creature quite like that before.
She didn't get much time to think, however, as Wyntre slipped back into her version of the Scobian Dragon Stance. Gria wasn't familiar with that particular style, though, so she wasn't aware that the ex-Empress's form wasn't entirely correct. The half-Saiyan's opponent rocketed towards her at great speed. Gira hadn't expected their battle to continue so suddenly, but she slipped back into her in-development Turtle Stance and prepared to counter Wyntre.
It appeared she was going for the tail, but she had to remember that Gira had trained the weakness out of her tail a long time ago. They had just fought earlier that day, after all. Flying upwards, she moved her tail out of the way and twisted her body around to attempt to kick Wyntre in the head, but the Arcosian did something that Gira did not expect. As Gira moved to dodge, Wyntre lashed out with a punch to her face, catching her on the cheek and sending her flying through the water and through an underwater rock formation.
The hybrid recovered after crashing through the rock, immediately heading back towards Wyntre and aiming a kick at her chin before attempting an elbow to her gut, following up with a series of punches to her face and midsection.

The strike had succeeded in its task. It hit Gira as was intended and left Wyntre with plenty of space— space that the hybrid was, of course, very keen to take away.
Gira flew back just about immediately. Merely by feeling the changing in movement of the water could she feel the movement headed towards her. She entered her pseudo-draconic stance once again and prepared for an assault… specifically, she prepared to get her own strikes in there as well. ”One supposes that there’s no longer any reason to hold back on the ki attacks. Keep that in mind, friend.” That wasn’t necessarily to say that she was preparing a ki attack, or even that she was going to… but, let’s be honest here, she was definitely going to. Just, not quite yet.
Wyntre would attempt to catch Gira’s kick and push it down to prevent the elbow attack, but it was just this movement that allowed Gira to strike so effectively. Wyntre, moving back with every strike against her… but, then she saw it, a perceived opening. Opening her palm, she’d attempt to catch Gira’s punches (incidentally, Wyntre’s fists would be by her sides, by way of Tulpa Touch) and then, with a sudden movement of the head, she attempted to remotely headbutt the hybrid away.

Gira had been furiously throwing punch after punch at Arcosian opponent. Her most recent assault had been mildly successful at this point, but then she noticed that her punches weren't hitting home and felt like they were being caught. Wyntre's Tulpa Touch. Gira had encountered it enough today to know it by feeling. At the mention that there was no longer any need to hold back their ki attacks, the teen smirked and gave Wyntre a brief nod. She would pop off a ki attack in due time. But for now, she would recover. The finishing blow on that sea monster drained quite a bit of her stamina.
Then, just as Gira was getting fired up, Wyntre suddenly moved her head. The teen felt a searing pain in her forehead as she felt a strong force smack her in the head, sending her flying through the water. With a loud grunt of effort, Gira clenched her fists and braced her body, forcing out a quick burst of ki to stop her flight. The hybrid rubbed her sore forehead, frowning slightly. "Daaamn, that hurt." Gira always hated headbutts. She'd rather get punched in the face than take one of those. Looking up at Wyntre, she smiled. 'Time to go at full strength!' The half-Saiyan gripped her shoulder and pulled off the top portion of her weighted gi, pulling it off and tossing the fabric aside.
It slowly descended to the ocean floor as Gira put her arms down at her sides casually and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to center herself. Upon opening her eyes, she moved instantly to Wyntre's position, the water resistance becoming almost negligible as the fighter freed herself of her constricting weighted gear. Upon moving to where her opponent stood, Gira threw a kick at her face, but this was a feint. She turned herself around midkick, aiming it instead at Wyntre's lower stomach. She would then attempt to push Wyntre into the ground with her foot if it it its mark, aiming a flurry of quick, powerful kicks at Wyntre's torso with her other leg.

Some might have believed that the Tulpa Touch was cheap. What's the point, they'd blabber on, if you didn't have to coordinate your strikes? What was the point of punching if it was to be done remotely? These would have been very legitimate concerns to many people if they were aware of the technique, but they weren't, so here we are.
Success: the remote headbutt connected, sending Gira flying back and left her recovering and rubbing the mark of impact for a few seconds. But, then, what was this? The hybrid began to take off her heavy weights, revealing the clothes beneath. The weight's discarded mass sunk quickly and was quickly out of sight, although that wasn't particularly impressive considering the fact that the only thing that was in sight for either combatant was the other. And a whole bunch of water.
The Arcosian could feel her foe's power rising and made sure to lessen her suppression to equal it. "I see you've gotten serious. Very well... I, too, shall take this seriously." If it wasn't a training scenario, that would have been a threat.

Gira came in for a kick but— oh, wait— she wasn't actually going in for a kick to the face, she was actually going in for a kick to the stomach! Wyntre sent the attack to the side and tried her best to deflect the ensuing kicks, successfully deflecting as many kicks as she missed. "Quite fond of kicks, aren't we?" Wyntre assumed that was a part of the fighting style Gira was emulating... and she'd show her exactly the Scobian Dragon Style entailed soon enough, to return the favour. Wyntre would attempt to grab Gira's leg and punch her knee in the way that'd break one's leg if one wasn't careful.

At Wyntre's mention that she was going to be taking this fight seriously now, Gira grinned. Now things were going to get really fun. Her flurry of kicks was ineffective, her opponent deflecting each of them. Gira chuckled when the Arcosian asked her if she was fond of kicks. "Yeah! Though I like to mix it up every once in awhile." In the middle of her combo of kicks, she felt Wyntre grab her leg, then send a punch at her knee.
In the split second she had to react, Gira roared and aimed another kick at her opponent's face. This kick served two purposes; a block and a counterattack. Her aim was to have Wyntre's punch would hit her thigh instead of her knee. Sure, it would still hurt, but her leg wouldn't be broken at least. As the punch collided with the hybrid's thigh, she groaned and grit her teeth, working through the pain as she aimed both of her palms at Wyntre, firing a barrage of ki blasts at her midsection.
Hopefully, this would force Wyntre to release her. If she did so, regardless of whether her kick or her onslaught of ki hit home, Gira would fly backwards to put a fair amount of distance between her and the ex-Empress. "Ow..." The teen mumbled to herself and rubbed her thigh. That would probably leave a bruise tomorrow.

The blow didn't go where it was supposed to go, but at least it hit. Gira's blow sent her strike from its intended path— straight to the knee— to a good enough path: to the thigh.
As soon as she saw the shine of ki, Wyntre knew what it meant. She attempted to jump back and get some more space but, unfortunately, she was still hit by a fair number of ki blasts before she got far away enough to dodge.
"You wanted to see some more of the techniques I've been keeping up my sleeves, yes? Well perhaps today's your lucky day."
Wyntre began to fly straight up, heading for the surface. Given her power, it didn't take long, but that would mean that it wouldn't take long for the hybrid either. Finally, she could sea the sun.
Ki gathered in her hands and formed a ball… A ball which grew… And grew… And grew.
"Here it is: the aptly named Death Ball! Be delighted by its splendour!"
It was vast, like what a red giant would have looked like if red giants were only a few kilometres across. It looked so gargantuan, and so immutable… it was hard to believe that Wyntre made it in only a few short seconds.
Wyntre's upward-pointing finger shifted… and the Death Ball followed with it, falling and falling towards the water below.

Gira rubbed the soreness out of her thigh as Wyntre spoke, looking up with excitement as her training partner mentioned showing off one of her tricks. One that the hybrid hadn't seen before, she assumed. When the ex-Empress flew upwards towards the surface, Gira followed at top speed, breaking out of the water right behind Wyntre. She hovered just above the water and looked upon the Arcosian in awe as she watched the ki forming in her palm become a sphere and grow larger and larger until it was at an incredible size.
"Oh..." That was all Gira managed to say. To be capable of gathering that much ki in such a short amount of time was incredible. Eventually, her entranced expression turned to one of excitement. She slipped back into her stance as Wyntre declared the name of her attack. "Death Ball." From what she had seen so far, it was indeed aptly named. If one visualized what a giant ball of death looked like, the great bundle of ki before the hybrid would probably be what they would visualize. Gira tensed up as she felt the power of the attack.
It certainly felt incredible. In fact, it was so powerful, Gira wasn't so sure she could stop it. The hybrid cupped her hands at her side, blue radiance coming from the space between her palms. As Gira prepared her counterattack, Wyntre threw down the giant ball of ki towards the water and towards the teen. As it slowly descended upon her, the water seemed to give way to it. "Kame..." A bead of sweat dripped from Gira's temple. "Hame...!" Even though it was still a fair distance away, Gira could feel the heat off of the giant red ball of energy
This attack was her only chance. Gritting her teeth briefly, the hybrid threw her cupped hands forward. "HAAA!!!" A thick beam of blue and white energy fired out of Gira's palms, rocketing towards the Death Ball before colliding with it. The half-Saiyan's attack collided with the giant red sun. Sparks of blue and crimson flew from the point where the two ki attacks collided. The Death Ball halted briefly, but it soon began to overwhelm the hybrid's Kamehameha. Gira growled with effort as she strained against the attack. Sweat poured down her face as she struggled in vain.
"Come on...!" The teen shut her eyes tight as she pushed against the Death Ball. "Come ooooonnn!" The struggle between the two attacks was a brief one. The attack thrown out by Wyntre was far more powerful than the amount of ki Gira was able to muster in those brief moments. The hybrid wasn't about to give up, though. As her ki attack was overwhelmed by Wyntre's, Gira threw her hands towards the ball and caught it, continuing her struggle. "Damn iiiiit!" Gira didn't struggle long before she too was overwhelmed. She didn't know what else to do, so she just screamed as the Death Ball began to push her down into the water.
The pain was great. Gira couldn't think about anything else other than how much it hurt. When all was said and done, Gira was down and out. Not dead, but barely conscious. "Owww..." She whispered, barely audible. Gira raised a trembling hand to give Wyntre a thumbs up. "N-Nice... I think you win." She gasped and let her arm fall down at her side.

Gira tried her best. The Kamehameha was not powerful enough to dissuade the sheer power of the Death Ball. Even when her attack failed, she didn’t give up: she attempted to catch it. She attempted to catch the thing with ‘Death’ in it with her bare hands.
Understandably, it didn’t particularly go well. The giant ball of death lowered and lowered and lowered, pushing the stubborn Gira further and further down. Eventually, through what Wyntre could only imagine to be a great deal of pain, Gira was pushed to the sea-level. And then, not long after that, she was beginning to be pushed into the negatives. Lower and lower and lower…
But, eventually, she just couldn’t handle it. The hybrid’s hands fell from up high, allowing the massive ball of death to sink lower and lower into the water…
As soon as the attack touched the water, there was a shockwave. Wyntre knew the signs: in only a few minutes, all of the simulated lives on this simulated Earth would be no more. ”Computer, nullify the Death Ball.” And, in a blink, the ball disappeared as if it were never there at all. It didn’t nullify the damage it had already done, however, even if that was negligible relative to the damage it would have done. While the Arcosian wasn’t expressly an expert on the matter, she was expecting a few massive simulated tsunamis to form as a result of the sheer induced change in temperature and pressure. ”Gira, you fought valiantly. Not valiantly enough to prevent the destruction of the planet, but valiantly regardless.” Maybe being in a ship called the Valiance helped one fight valiantly. Who knows. ”Computer, end simulation. Now, as for you, let’s get you looked after properly.” Soon, the effects of the Death Ball disappeared… along with the ocean and the entirety of the planet. They were back in the Gravity Chamber, much closer together than the simulation made them appear. ”Don’t move a muscle. I’ll have you looked after by our finest.” Again.
She’d attempt to gently telekinetically grasp her new friend’s body and move her to the closest medical bay. What a day.

Gira simply laid on the ground as the simulation dissipated around them. At Wyntre's compliment about how she fought valiantly, Gira let out a weak laugh, groaning shortly thereafter as she regretted the decision. "Ah-ah! It hurts to laugh." She surrendered to the exhaustion and just lied still. "Thanks. I guess giving up just isn't in my nature. I've been told that's gonna kill me one day." When the hybrid's new friend told her she was going to have her looked after properly, the teen smiled. "Thanks. I feel like I got hit by a sun." Gira let out a half groan half chuckle at her attempt at a joke. "Seriously though, that would be great."
As the teen hybrid felt herself being lifted up by Wyntre's telekinesis, she sighed with relief. Somehow, this felt more comfortable. It was like she was being carried to the medical bay on a cloud. Gira was so comfortable in fact that shortly after she was picked up, she found her eyes getting heavier and heavier. "Hey, I think i'm just gonna... rest my... eyes..." With that, she was out, and would remain so until she had received medical attention. Today was fun, that was for sure. She got to train harder than she ever had before and even made a new friend. Both were things that Gira enjoyed on their own, but together they were even better.
As Gira dozed away, carried by Wyntre's telekinesis, she dreamed of reaching even greater heights of power. That surge of strength she felt earlier today led her to believe that she was far away from reaching her peak. It excited her unlike anything else. Gira knew that once she uncovered this power, her and Wyntre had to fight again. The hybrid's interest in the Arcosian was great, and she wouldn't rest until she saw the rest of Wyntre's tricks.
Thread exit! That was fun. ^^ We should do it again soon. I'll be taking PL with x30 gravity for this one.
