Thread PL - 11,216 PL Heavy Weights On/Suppression Off - 2,804 PLGira As he spent most of his past times, Pracross was found in the woods, training through his, for some strange reason, favorite form of training, punching trees. He had started this tradition when he had previously entered a competition and technically won by default since the champion ended up being a gang member and someone got jumped or something like that? He didn't remember and he wasn't much for attempting to remember it. He made one last punch at tree after about an hour of working at in, forcing it to fall over after putting some serious dents in it. He could never must the power he used to break down the extremely thick tree at the tournament but he had done it none the less. He wondered if he'd be able to must that much power again soon. Most likely not, and these weights probably were preventing him from obtaining such force anyways so it was better to leave the subject. Pracross looked at his bruised knuckles and sighed. "I need to change the way I train..." He stood up straight and started to walk east, back towards town, but found himself walking for around an hour before realizing he was once against lost. He could've simply flied up, but he always liked a good challenge of a maze... but today wasn't one of those days, so he flew up into the sky quickly and examined the area for any signs of nearby life... He flew for about five minutes before landing in an open field and sighing, too tired to deal with the city. He crossed his arms and plopped himself onto the grass, laying back and looking into the sky. He started to think about his recent events and how he'd been lead up to this point. How DID he get here?! He knew the answer perfectly, but he was adding some touch to his thoughts as he stared up at the clouds.

Heavy Weights equipped! Active PL: 27 286
Gira had been training in the Fukurou Forest for most of the day, playing her favorite training game; ki blast racing. The concept was quite simple; She'd fire several ki blasts into the air, then fly up into the sky, attempting to get ahead of them. Then, she would kick and slap them in several directions, then fire even more ki blasts to nullify the previous ones before they hit anything. It was a rather dangerous game to play around anything important, so the hybrid didn't play it too often. Still, she was out here in the literal middle of nowhere, so she felt like it was safe enough. She was going for a perfect training session; no misses. It was rather difficult, as a training session consisted of multiple rounds of increasing difficulty, but she was on her way. At last, the hybrid was on the final round.
She hadn't missed any so far, and if she managed not to miss any during this round, she would achieve her goal. The hybrid closed her eyes and took a deep breath, gathering her wits and focusing her energy. Then, it began. Gira first started by firing a dozen ki blasts into the sky, taking off as soon as the twelfth blast left her palm. She rocketed into the air, catching up to her ki blasts with ease. Her speed had developed quite a bit over the last little while, so this part was easy. With practiced precision, she lashed out several times in almost a second with her fists and legs, scattering the bundles of ki in every direction. "Okay! Here I go!" Gira smirked and took aim at all twelve of the blasts, firing twelve more to match them. Several explosions generated a powerful gale throughout the field. Twelve blasts down. A perfect session. Or so she thought. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a stray blast that she missed.
Worse, it appeared to be headed for someone that she hadn't noticed! She remembered the guy vaguely upon seeing him, but decided to ask him about it later. For now, she was more concerned with warning him about her stray shot. "Yo, heads up!" She called out to Pracross.

As the young saiyan started too young, a voice called out to him, or at least it sound like it was addressed to him. He opened one eye to see yellow ball of light flying towards him. "W-woah!" The young man yelled as he planted one hand to the ground, his leg to his side as he forced himself to roll to the side, barely escaping the impact to the blow.
Pracross was sitting in the grass, holding his body up with his arms, breathing shakily from the sudden attack. He sat forward and rubbed his eyes, then rolled back and kicked himself up, successfully landing on his feet. "Hey, what's the big idea?! If that's how you say hello to someone then you could really use some manners!" Pracross crossed his arms and looked for the source of the blast, since he'd only heard the voice before, seeing a figure not too far away. "Are you the one that did that?!" The young saiyan started to run, then jumped up as he started to fly towards the figure, and upon arrival, he recognized the figure.
"Gira?" Spoke the boy. He had met Gira at a bar not too long ago, as well as her mentor and a friend of hers who had turned out to be the legends he spoke so high about when he was little. He was surprised upon such a fated meeting with her again, but he was still angry. "Were you the one that almost hit me with that ki blast?!" He clenched his fists and pressed his lips. "Are you trying to kill me or something?!" Usually, he wouldn't be one for anger, but with a mishap like this, he couldn't help himself but get mad! He could've died! But then again, maybe not, just some injury at the least.

Gira breathed a heavy sigh of relief when Pracross managed to dodge her ki blast. "Oh, thank Kami. I thought I was gonna become a murderer today." When things sort of settled down, the young Saiyan began to yell at her for nearly killing him. Understandable. Though he seemed powerful enough to not die from a single non-serious ki blast from the teen, she figured that it probably would have hurt a great deal. When she finally got a good look at the Saiyan before her, she recognized him. He seemed to recognize her, too, saying her name. He seemed to get even angrier, directing his ire squarely at her. Gira laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her head.
"Yeah, that was me. I'm sorry, I was just training. I didn't think anyone was here. I got a little too into it, so I missed your energy signature. I was trying to get a perfect training session in, but..." She looked over to where her ki blast impacted, a small, smoldering crater having formed from the impact. The teen frowned slightly. "...Well, I guess one miss isn't bad." She floated over to Pracross and landed next to him, offering her hand to help him up. "I'm really sorry about that. That was a nice dodge, though. I see you've got some moves." Gira grinned as she gave him the compliment, hoping that served to calm the other Saiyan down a bit. "Tell ya what, let me know how I can make it up to you." Gira did feel bad about nearly hurting the boy. It was an accident, but she still should have been more careful.
'I hope he isn't too mad. I thought we could be good friends.' Though the hybrid was concerned, she tried her best to keep her smile. Hopefully, her exuding positive emotions would be somewhat influential on Pracross.

(OOC: Pracross is flying with you in the air, no need to help him up when he's already higher up than he should be ;P)
Though he got mad at the girl, she still remained light in spirits, which made him feel a little guilty. She explained how it was only an accident and how she should have been more careful, and though Pracross was forgiving, he was also a tad bit stubborn over sneak attacks, so he sighed. "It's fine, if you say it wasn't your intent, then so be it. Just... don't end up actually doing it." He said with pressed lips and an uncertain stare, but he recovered quickly with a gentle smile. "Nice hit, would've hurt for sure, but I was just scared when i said you almost killed me, y'know? Probably should've taken it anyways so I could adjust to a heavy hit cause a ki blast that makes a crater?! A simple KI BLAST!" He pointed at the explosion point and smiled. "Certainly would've been one hell of a way to get stronger!"
Pracross sighed and scratched the back of his neck again. He felt... strange, almost awkward and out of place being there. There was only one solution to fix this weirdness... CHAT! "So... you're training, too? I was taking a break from mine until... well..." He gestured as if it should be obvious of why, which it really was. He smiles with a slight laugh. "but hey, I guess this means I found someone really strong who can help me out with my training, right?" The young saiyan put his hands inside the other sleeves, his right hand in his left sleeve, his left in his right sleeve so it made a straight line of... sleeve? He looked at her. "Though if you're training, I would expect it to be with your mentor. Is he busy?" The boy tilted his head and intertwined his fingers.

Gira was relieved that she was forgiven for her mistake. She didn't want this to ruin any potential friendship she might have with the Saiyan. She was quite eager to make more pureblood Saiyan friends. She didn't have too many; just Pota and Kallabash. Though the latter she had not seen in a long time. When Pracross mentioned that he was taking a break from training, Gira's interest was piqued. It seemed he was of the same mind as her, mentioning that he had found a strong person to help him train. The teen wasn't surprised that they were thinking the same thing. While Pracoss was pureblooded and Gira was only half, her Saiyan side was quite strong at times.
A big grin spread across the half-Saiyan's face as she put her hands on her hips. "If you wanna train, let's go for it. I have somewhere we can get a good workout too." The half-Saiyan dug in the waistband of her gi, pulling out a small capsule. Pressing the button with a small click, she casually tossed the contraption on the ground. In a plume of smoke, her ship appeared before them. "We can train in there if you want. I've got an old gravity chamber that might help make our training more rewarding." That was when Gira's prospective training partner asked why she was training by herself instead of with her sensei.
"Oh, i'm actually not supposed to be here. My mom thinks i'm out grocery shopping. She expects me to walk, so I have a bit of time to do other stuff. My sensei lives kinda far away, so I don't have time to go train with him today. I totally would though." The half-Saiyan didn't like deceiving her mother, but she had to take every chance she could to train. She was unsatisfied with her current level of power. It was an endless curse, it seemed. The stronger she got, the stronger she wanted to be. Discovering all these people who were at a level far beyond her served as a good motivator as well. Turning her attention back to Pracross, she smiled at him. "So, how 'bout it?"

When the saiyan calmed down, the hybrid calmed herself as well. She seemed to glow even brighter, which made him feel a little better, too. He couldn't help but smile a tad bit bigger as he tilted his head. It was nice being at a normal tone. He was calm until she said his favorite word: Train. She spoke of knowing the perfect place to train, then revealed a pod out of thin air, using a capsule he'd seen so few of. Gira spoke of a gravity chamber that could improve their training. He, of course, was excited.
When she spoke of her mother and sensei, he nodded his head as he absorbed the information. Pracross would've done a lot for training at home, but never lie, though he did for other reasons from time to time, though it might've been understandable if it were closer to a life or death scenario. He sensei, though, happened to live a ways away, so she was unable to train with him. Pracross smiles and nodded one last time before she dropped the question.
"Yes, I would love to train with you! I'm always looking for people to help me get stronger!" Pracross smirked and removed his hands from his sleeves, clenching his fist as he looked at her. Someone had just offered him a chance to get stronger with ease, which means Gira's seeking power just like him! Imagine the power of the two combine in a training session, what a dangerous duo they could be against each other, though at the moment, Gira outranked the boy by at least a good portion, as seen with the surprisingly powerful ki display earlier. Truly, she could teach him a couple of new things to help him get strong quick, and though she may have an advantage, he planned to try his hardest! "Think you can keep up with my speed, though? My physical strength may not be the greatest but I was one of the fastest on Vegeta!" He tipped his hips and laughed a small chuckle. "Never could obtain the title of fastest though, but I'm still a tough hit!"

Gira smiled at the boy's reaction to her suggesting her gravity chamber to train in. He seemed excited. This was good. Pracross reminded the hybrid a lot of herself in his enthusiasm about training. They also had something in common when it came to looking for people to help them get stronger. Gira had sought out the help of many strong people in her time. She met quite a few of them and had gotten much stronger since she began her journey. Tulip, Articho, Wyntre... all of them were strong friends she had made and all of them were instrumental to Gira in helping her grow more and more powerful. Gira wondered if Pracross would look back on his own journey and view her the same way she viewed the others that helped her get to the point she was at now.
When asked if she could keep up with his speed, Gira shrugged. "I think I can. I'm pretty fast myself." She stretched and yawned. "But you should know, if you've never done gravity training before... it's very intense. It's not something to play around with, so you gotta be ready. First of all, by knowing that you'll find it difficult to remain standing at all, let alone using your full speed." Gira looked back at her ship. "Alright then, shall we?" Gira smiled and approached her ship, a metal tube sliding out of the center of the craft's underbelly. A set of elevator doors opened up as the designated Captain, Gira, approached. She stood in the elevator, waiting for Pracross to join her. Once he did so, the half-Saiyan pressed one of three buttons on the control panel, marked with the number three.
The elevator would then shut its doors and ascend back into the ship. Their ascent was quick. The ship wasn't that big after all. Shortly after the doors shut, they reached their destination. A synthesized male voice came through the intercom to confirm their destination.
"Upper Tier. Training Room." The doors opened, revealing a white-tiled, white-walled chamber with a strange device in the center.
"Those are the manual controls for the gravity. But SAM, my ship's AI, can set it for us." Once Gira finished her explanation, the synthesized voice chimed in, echoing through the chamber.
"Indeed! In the unlikely event of an error, the gravity can be adjusted or disabled at the control panel. I'm feeling in tip-top shape today, however, so I would recommend not touching it unless there is an emergency." With that, the voice addressed Gira directly. "What is on the training menu today, Miss Gira?"
"Gravity training. I've got someone here wanting to give it a try." The hybrid turned to Pracross. "You want to do the honors? You just have to tell SAM to engage the damage shield and set the gravity to ten times that of Earth's."

Gira seemed pretty confident in her speed as well, which psyched Pracross up a bit. He'd been working hard on his speed and strength, which is why he had on his heavy weights. He had to get even better if he were to defeat his opponents and meeting Gira is probably his biggest chance he's had yet! He he pumped his fists smally and reared with excitement as she walked up to the capsule, where she requested him to follow as the door opened on it's own. Such simple things managed to excite the saiyan. The door was such an unexciting thing, but Pracross felt like he was a fan girl with a backstage pass at a concert.
As he walked in, the hybrid spoke to an AI, that of the ships, then explained the whole scenario about the manual controls, which really only existed of there was an emergency. After explaining how the AI could set it for them, it asked what was on the menu for today, which Gira responded with "gravity training" as if there were anything else to do on the ship, though maybe it held a bedroom and a storage space like he had seen in his research files, plus she could do some basics training or sparing, it WAS fairly roomed. After his examination, he listened in on the hybrid about setting the controls to ten times the gravity of Earth, though he was certain he'd heard of that somewhere...
"Right..." He walked over the the manual controls and looked up at what he assumed was a speaker. He remembered suddenly where he heard of the ten times gravity and got a feeling of... nausea, but shook it off. "Set gravity to ten times, SAM!"
As the door stared to close and the room started to get quiet, a small sound, like a computer starting up played in the middle of the room. The motion around the room started to slow and everything seemed... heavier, or it was anyways. The weights on his arms were getting heavy, as well as himself, but for some reason, he still felt... agile. He knew the reason. He was back on Vegeta again, his home planet with a gravity ten times of that of Earths. He hadn't noticed in space, where he was so light ad came back to Earth in such a scary frenzy. Now he felt the difference.
Pracross took a deep breath as the screen on the machine in the middle said "10x" and focused on himself. He felt the ki around him filling him as his started to fly up using it. It was odd, after going so long without training like this, but it wasn't too strange. He recognized every movement and smirked. "Well I'll be damned! Fells just like home!" He popped his knuckles and pointed at Gira. "So are we ready to take this show on the road or what?" He smirked and felt overjoyed. It's not everyday you can spar with someone who's only half like you!

"Gravity device activated! Current level; ten times Earth's gravity." SAM confirmed the order he was given before going silent. Gira turned to Pracross once the gravity changed, stretching a bit as she prepared for their training. She noticed that it didn't seem to affect her partner's movement at all. This got her pretty excited. Had he done gravity training before? He didn't mention that, but Pracross appeared to not be encumbered by the increased gravity. She thought she remembered that the home planet of the Saiyans had greater gravity when compared to Earth due to the increased mass of the planet.
What Pracross said next confirmed this, as he stated that it felt just like home. "Oh, so you're from Vegeta then? I guess that explains it." The half-Saiyan smirked and took up her stance that she referred to as "Turtle Stance #1" by spreading her stance and raising her right fist, her index and middle fingers sticking straight up. Her other fist was back, near her waist, prepared to lash out with a punch at a moment's notice. It was a stance that appeared fairly relaxed, but looks were deceiving. When asked if they should begin, Gira nodded in confirmation.
"Come on, show me what you've got. Its been a long time since i've fought a pureblood Saiyan." Indeed, her last fight with one of pure Saiyan blood was her friend and hero sidekick, Pota. Before that was her rival, Kallabash, but that was a very long time ago, back when she was a lot weaker than she was now. Gira stood where she was, a fair amount of distance between her and her opponent. She waited for the Saiyan to make his move.

OOC: I hope the music I pick is good and fitting cause jfc i change it a lot
The Half-blood noted that he was from Vegeta and agreed that this all makes sense. He smiled and started to remove his jacket and weapon from his back and toss it to the side neatly, tossing it with just enough force to reach the wall. Soon after, he took a few steps away from his opponent and smiled, taking his own pose. This pose was optimal for him, for it allowed him to counter attack with ease, his usual preference when he took on the defensive, but after preparing for a while, his opponent also took a defensive stance, so he took a deep breath and took an offensive stance. It's this stance but his back arm is further back and a little bit lower. This stance was to let him find offensive points of any kind, whether it be timing of a decent blow, spotting a weakness, or simply occupying type to prevent them from fighting back, though it may not be as effective as he'd like. He smiled and popped his knuckles without moving his arms. "Let's make this good!"As the mood of the area started to tense up, so did the saiyan. Pracross observed his opponent, who seemed ready to switch from defensive to offensive in a second through her pose, since it was a mixed stance, but she also may be doing that because she thinks it looks cool, much like someone he knows... He decided that if this fight were to progress, he'd need to make the first move... so he jumped forward and made an attempt to kick at the hald-breed, aiming for her stomach so that he can start a chain of attacks.

Gira remained in her stance as Pracross shot across the chamber towards her. In response, Gira raised her arms to form an "X" across her chest and stomach. Her opponent's foot made contact with her guard, pushing her back several feet before Pracross began to unleash a barrage of attacks on her. The hybrid kept pace with him, blocking each and every punch and kick with a well-placed guard. A smile spread across Gira's face as she began to get in the groove of the battle, finally deciding to lash out with a kick at his face.
Whether or not the attack was successful, Gira would lunge at Pracross, deciding to go on the offensive. She would begin by throwing a roundhouse kick at her opponent's head, following up with a flurry of punches at his midsection before zipping behind Pracross at impossible speeds, aiming a kick at the middle of his back to send him to the ground. Part of her didn't like to suppress her power like this. She felt like she was moving through mud. However, her power now was exactly the same as it was when she began her journey.
Had she really improved that much?

Upon his successful landing of his kick, though it may have been blocked, Pracross kept up his attacks. When he promised he moved quickly, he wasn't kidding. The barrage was relentless, yet his opponent kept up fine. Seems he could really hold no bars here, so he'd had to bring out his full speed and strength id he wanted to beat her! As the boy reared back one last mighty punch, he felt a leg kick him back a few feet, almost making him tumble down onto the ground but he managed to roll to a recovery, then stood straight up, rubbing his cheek.
The saiyan smirk. "Nice hit" he said as he stood in a mixed stance, ready for his opponent's charge, holding up his arm to block the spiral kick for his head, but didn't expect the fist coming for his stomach. When the fist fist was thrown, he threw his opponent's leg down to make an attempt to block, failing the first two, but standing his ground on the next couple. When his opponent disappeared, his keen eyes recognized the speed quite like his own going around him, allowing him a chance to- The boy jumped forward and turned as Gira kicked the ground, barely missing the boy. Damn, she's good, but let's see if she can keep up! Pracross smirked and took up a stance for countering, one hand parallel with his head, turned out for upper attacks, the other lower at the belt for a ranging set of blocks and counters. If he could time some attacks, Pracross could land a successful blow on her net attack assuming she didn't know what he was aiming for.
"Your sensei taught you well it seems! Your speed is almost as great at mine which just means I have to work harder since your hits are obviously heavier." Pracross starting a conversation in combat was a good way at keeping things friendly while also managing a competitive aspect, allowing for the tension of a rival or ally to actually set in.

Gira smirked as her assault was met with decent success. She hadn't succeeded in grounding her opponent, but she could work with the situation how it was. He was quite fast, though. He definitely wasn't joking when he talked about his speed. As Pracross got in a counter stance, he complimented her skill, stating that her sensei taught her well. Gira smiled with pride. Articho had indeed taught her well in the short time she had been training with him. "Thanks! You're not bad yourself. Do you train under anyone?"
Gira wasn't normally one to engage in conversation while fighting, but then again, no one had ever really tried to converse with her while fighting before. Usually it was just battle banter. While they engaged in conversation, Gira continued the next phase of her assault. She lunged at Pracross, briefly taking note of his stance. It was clearly one meant to counter, but where was he going to counter? The hybrid dropped to the floor and slid the rest of the way to her opponent, lashing out with her leg to sweep kick Pracross before attempting a solid elbow to his stomach.

As the hybrid gave him her thanks, she asked if he, too, was under training. "Sadly, no, I've seen great works, but I have not studied under another person." He smiled, knowing well about his application to the Star School. "Yet." He smirked and stood tense for his opponents next move, which was quite odd, but smart. She attempted to slide underneath him and go for his mid-section again, but he was prepared.
Since this was a blow that couldn't be simple countered by a physical block to switch, he'd have to do it in a fleeting style. As Gira arrived for the blow, the saiyan jumped up, a forward flip with a twist, as he turned back and fire three quick ki blasts at her, then landed quickly soon after and made a charge at her, aiming a fist for her upper chest.
