It was the brightest day on Earth since Escar got there, actually, the sun was a bit heavy on him, not that he wasn’t used to stars hitting hard on the skin, but Earth’s, even if it was singular, ended up being so much stronger than those of Namek, able to sustain temperature above everything on the green guy’s little home planet, where the temperature was about the same everywhere, with minor changes, due to a more stable system of day and… day… There was this one new thing on Earth that Escar liked a lot, night. Due to having only one star, Earth had a moment, on each region, where the sun, as they call it, wasn’t visible, and so the sky would open to a view of the stars, far away from Earth, and give an incredible sigh, now that was something impressive! Namekian that stayed home would have never seen that, and that was another reason for Escar to nod at his own choice, he did a nice one to leave the planet, there was so much to explore! And yes, so much more to fear, but still, he would enjoy this trip at its finest! Comparing to Earth, Namek seemed like the most boring place in the world, so there was no reason to go back, not permanently at the very least! Escar shook his head, he was thinking to himself way too much, and day-dreaming ended up with him being… well… where was he again? And why?
Or right? Central capitol! That’s right! He had come here for something really specific, there was those ‘training’ gears, heavy clothing that were said to improve on one’s training, and since Escar had in his mind to become Guardian of Earth, he would need some power behind his ideas, just in case something would ACTUALLY happen to Earth and he’d need to defend it, which was kind of the job’s ‘to-do’ list. Thing is, Escar needed money for this kind of things! And money could be find, as he learned from a sympathetic person living in the street, through working, which was apparently really hard to find. In exchange, Escar did something that changed the homeless man’s life for ever, using his ancient techniques earned through training with the dragon call, he cured the man of all of his disease, making him look much longer than he initially looked, and the man went running like a kid, apparently it was the first time he walked since a long while, and this is where Escar noticed a wheeled chair and smiled to himself.
On his way to find a job, the young Namekian ended up getting into a lot of those ‘shops’ he saw while walking in the streets, and out of them, one actually ended up hiring the Namekian! Though it was a temporary job, there was a huge rush and one of the employees didn’t came through, so Escar just seemed to be in the right place at the right time! It wasn’t too long until Escar noticed what the man wanted to say when he said ‘rush’ as in a second, the fast food was filled with a line that continued outside of the building, and it is were Escar’s extensive limbs came in handy, as he could multi-task like no employee before, and the rush this day almost seemed like it was just another hour!
The Namekian’s temporary boss went to him when everything was over, he seemed like a nice man, though Escar heard him yelling at the person he was replacing a few minutes go, and few words in that one dialogue were unknown to him, and seeing the way there were used, that was probably for the better. Escar took his pay and politely thanked the human before leaving, toward the training shop, where he could get those sweet sweet training gears and finally starts his progress toward the real job he wanted!
