Thread PL: 97 603 Heavy Weights equipped! Active PL: 24 401 Gira whistled a happy tune as she polished her new ship in her family's front yard in front of the street. Once she got the final space junk smudge out, the half-Saiyan looked at her face in the ship's squeaky clean fuselage. "Yup. Totally worth being grounded for three weeks." Gira's mom wasn't at all happy that she purchased a ship with her emergency credit card, but then again, she understood that being stuck on another planet counted as an emergency. Good thing too. Gira thought she was going to be grounded until the heat death of the universe what with her going missing for over a week then charging an unreal amount of money to her Bao Platinum card. (which got it taken away) Those thoughts were far from her mind now, though. She served her three weeks, got all of her backed up homework done, and now everything was back to normal; plus a ship and gravity chamber and minus a Bao Platinum card that is. All in all, the hybrid considered her forced vacation a net positive. The ship was all well and good, but the gravity chamber was what really excited her. It wasn't near top of the line. In fact, it was used. But it was hers and it would help with her training. That was more than good enough for her. "Now, gotta get the wax..." Gira mumbled to herself as she dug through a nearby bin on the ground of things she bought for the ship. "Hm... no wax." Gira grinned to herself. 'That's okay, I can just go into town and buy a...'Then it hit her again. No more credit card. "Daaaaaamn!" Gira whined to herself. "I really need a job." The hybrid sighed and leaned up against her ship. Kluttz

Kluttz wandered from shop to shop, carrying a large amount of groceries, that, notably that they were preservable and none that required a fridge. "Alright, next is my... Let's see...," Kluttz pulls out a list reads it off, stopping in the middle of side walk to check his list of groceries, much to the annoyance of people on the side walk, because they have to move around him. "Ah right, wax for my sword! I mean, I pretty much have everything else I need to keep my sword nice." Kluttz thought, slowly making his way toward the shop. 'SIR! YOU CAN'T HAGGLE FOR THE PRICE IF THE WAX!" the angry man at the counter yelled, getting strange looks from other people. "But 30 zeni for this wax is observed! Kluttz yelled, not having the money to pay for it. "Grrrr, young man, this is my shop and I set the prices, not YOU! This is not a pawn shop, this is my business I set for 10 years and I will not have an upstart come in and ruin it! do you understand!?" the older man yelled, getting really annoyed. "Gah, fine!" Kluttz yelled, walking out and put the wax in the basket they were in, but not before grabbing one without paying, faster than the camera's could tell. "Heh, stupid shop owner." the swordsman muttered, smirking at having 1-0 at the shop keeper. He cursed at not bringing the rest of his money and also cursed at not having hindsight that he might spend more than he should. "Well, whatever, I got what I wanted." He quickly put his stuff in the cave he's been staying in, completed with a lamp with rechargeable batteries, a sleeping, and a radio so he could hear news if he needed to. "Alright... Wait, there was that superhero girl and she was... Gire? No, Giran! No, wait... Gyra!..." He sighed, knowing those were all wrong. "Wait, didn't she say that she lived in the city... Ah, there she is! Lemme go say hi and see about that training!" He quickly ran to her house, noticing she was cleaning a... Ship? What was she, an astronaut? He thought it was weird, but he did remember Articho talking about there being an android leader and a demon as god, so, maybe there were planets with things he couldn't imagine? Probably. "Yo, uh, Watcher person... Sorry, forgot your name!" Kluttz said cheerfully, noticing people weren't around, so her superhero life was safe and okay. GiraWelp, hope you got the reference I made with one of the names. :3 PL with HW's is 1008! Without HW's is 4029!

Gira felt the approach of Kluttz before he actually arrived, but she turned to greet him as she heard his voice. It appeared he forgot her name. 'That's fine, I guess. People remember the Watcher more than boring ol' Gira.' She smiled and waved. "Yo, Kluttz! It's Gira. Good to see you again." The girl wondered how he found her house, but eventually came to the conclusion that he had an energy sensing talent of some sort and simply followed her energy there. She tossed her sponge into the bucket of soapy water at her side and wiped her hands off on a dry cloth, approaching the swordsman. "Long time no see. I was actually gonna look for you later." She jerked her thumb back to her ship.
"A beauty, isn't she? I got her on Vegeta. Outfitted with a gravity chamber that can go up to fifty times Earth's gravity." She tossed the dry rag into the bin with her other supplies and crossed her arms. "Was actually wondering if you wanted to get started on your training. We can use my chamber if you want. We don't have to start at fifty times though. In fact... that would be a distinctly bad idea. I mean, unless powdering your bones and turning your organs to sludge sounds like a good idea to you." She laughed nervously, realizing that her joke probably wasn't funny. "But, uh, yeah. I can go up to times twenty no sweat, but we'll start you off at... times ten? What do you say? Ready to see how a hero trains!?"
Gira seemed way more pumped about this than anyone really should be. Truthfully, while she didn't consider herself a good teacher, she liked to help good people get stronger. The more powerful allies one had, the better one could protect what was important. It would likely come back to bite her one day, but for now, the half-Saiyan was excited to help someone else on their own journey for strength.

"O-Oh, sorry Gira. Names have never been a specialty, so, sorry mate." Kluttz mutters sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "Huh? Look for me? Like, for training? Well, I'm open right now. I just did some grocery shopping so I'm free the rest of the day." Kluttz explained, hoping the kind young woman would train him today. "... Ve... Vegeta? What the hell is a Vegeta? Well, aside from that, yea. She's a lovely beauty. How much was she on this, 'Vegeta'?" Kluttz asked, curious how much a ship like this would cost. Maybe there were other planets that had life on them or something? If so, he was gonna need to save up for something like that. "A gravity chamber? That sounds extremely dangerous." he asked nervously, not knowing if it was safe. "Sure. I'd love too... Eh? You can go to times 20? Jeez, your way above me, aren't you in that." Kluttz muttered, feeling insignificant. He then pales at the statement about bones to mush and flesh to powder. "Uh, I'd rather not have that. It sounds like a case of he dead." the swordsmen joked, still a little frightened. Times 10?... He'd rather say times 2 gravity, but he didn't want to seem like pussy. "Y-yeah! Let's go! I'm ready to see what a hero trains to!" Kluttz said, feeling pumped from Gira. He was surprised that Gira was this excited to train him. She probably was excited to further herself. There was no way she was excited to train him, a random bloke.. Right? GiraPassing back to you Giran! :3

Gira looked a little confused at the swordsman as he questioned her about what Vegeta was. "Oh, it's a planet. Home of the Saiyans and all that. But don't worry about the chamber, it's perfectly safe. I've trained with increased gravity several times." Gira stretched, a grin showing itself on her face as Kluttz agreed to train with her. "Alright! Let's go!" Gira scrambled to get the keys out of her pocket. "I think it's... this one." The hybrid pressed the largest button, a "beep" coming from the ship as a platform lowered itself. Gira hopped onto it, beckoning for Kluttz to do so as well. If he did, the half-Saiyan would take off her jacket to reveal a white t-shirt and unfurl her now-revealed tail from her waist to have it hang lazily at her back.
"Ah, nice to let the tail breathe." She slung her jacket over her shoulder and pressed the same button the ship's key. With a soft hum, the two were brought up into the ship. They appeared to be in some kind of a metal tube. Based on the feeling, they were heading upwards. "Training room, SAM." It appeared Gira was talking to herself, but a synthesized male voice responded to her.
"Certainly, Miss Gira." The platform picked up speed slightly as the two were brought to the top of the ship. "Upper Tier. Training Room. Have a productive workout, Miss Gira." A set of metal doors opened up after the voice went silent. Gira turned to Kluttz after she entered the white walled, white floored training room.
"That's SAM. He's my ship's AI." Gira walked to the center of the training room, waiting for Kluttz to enter. Once he did, the doors would shut behind him. "Okay, i'm gonna turn on the gravity. It's a little jarring your first time, so brace yourself." Once Gira felt that the man was ready, she looked up to the ceiling and spoke again. "SAM, engage damage shield and activate the gravity device. Ten times Earth's gravity, please." Once Gira gave the command, the voice spoke again.
"Of course." As soon as it spoke, the lights dimmed slightly, a shimmering orange glow spreading over the walls, ceiling, and floor before vanishing. With that, Gira began to stretch, warming herself up.
"With this shield, we won't have to hold back. It should be able to manage us." After Gira finished speaking, a long, low tone sounded throughout the chamber. In that instant, everything within the chamber's walls suddenly became ten times heavier. Not just their bodies, but every part of their bodies; teeth, skin, hair, organs... everything. Gira didn't seem at all bothered by it as she continued her warmup.
"Ten times Earth's gravity activated."
x10 gravity activated!

"A planet? Well, that makes sense. It was either a planet or a person. So ya. Oh? It's the home of the Saiyan's? Oh, well that's interesting. I thought they would originated from Earth since there so similar to humans... Are you sure? Well, I guess I should trust you about it being safe, since you've done it before." Kluttz said, wondering could be going on in space... A space war at this very moment? Kluttz payed no attention to Gira taking off her jacket but did notice her tail lazily hanging behind her. "Huh, like Articho." he muttered, following her inside, noticing a very helpful AI. "... I faced an android. It wasn't fun, the thing nearly killed us all. We barely managed to take it down." he muttered not trusting SAM at all. "Well, alright. It's only 10 times, how bad could it be?" Kluttz respond, feeling a little more confident. He's got this, nothing to worry about, right? Right. "Should? I don't like that should, besides, your much stronger than me, it's not like your going all out and wrecking me and proving that your stronger than me... Right?" Kluttz then felt the weight of the gravity and first thought, "Well, this isn't so bad-" To which, he is slammed into the ground, groaning in pain as he feels his body screaming at him to stop this fucking madness. His response to that? "FUCK!" Giraow. ;-;

Gira ceased her warm up once it became clear that Kluttz was going to have a little bit of trouble getting used to the increased gravity. Walking over to him, the teen offered a hand to help him up. "It'll take a sec for your body to become used to the increased gravity, but once it does, there's no better way to train." The hybrid smiled at him. "And don't worry about me going all out. I wanna help you get stronger, not kill you." She laughed. Gira's mood was elevated at this point, her inevitable job search and lack of a credit card now far from her mind. All she was focused on now was her training with her... student? Friend? She didn't feel like she could call Kluttz a student. Gira wasn't really a teacher and she believed she lacked a lot of the necessary skills.
Not to mention the breadth of her knowledge on martial arts was rather limited. While she had learned much this past year and particularly in these past few months, she was still aware that she had much to learn. The half-Saiyan believed she had no business "teaching" others. At least, not yet. When/if Kluttz took her hand, Gira would pull him up to his feet with ease. "Okay, um... first, let's get you used to the gravity." Gira thought for a moment on how they could do that, her memory going back to the training she had with her friend and sidekick, Pota as they rocketed through space. To get him used to the increased gravity, they played catch.
She figured that would be a good method. It certainly worked back then... until Pota destroyed her ball. "One sec. I've got an idea." Gira walked over to one side of the room and placed her hand on a portion of the wall, pressing inward. A portion of the wall a little larger than her hand depressed, a drawer sliding out of the space next to it. It was a small, shallow drawer that she filled with capsules that contained equipment that could help in her training. "Let's see..." The half-Saiyan dug through the storage space for a moment before producing a small capsule. "Here it is!" Gira hummed happily and walked back over to her training partner.
Pressing the button on the top of the capsule, Gira casually tossed it onto the floor. In a plume of smoke, a soccer ball appeared where the capsule landed. "What do you say we play a little game? We'll toss this ball around for a bit to get you used to the gravity. It'll be like a warm up." Gira made her way to the other end of the chamber from Kluttz, leaving the ball near him. Turning back towards the swordsman, she flashed him a smile. "Alright, toss it to me." Gira got in a ready stance, prepared to catch the ball. Before they began, however, the teen made one request. "Um... be careful, though. I don't have the money to replace that ball."

"H-how can you stand this hellish environment?! Do you live in this too get used to it or something?!" Kluttz asked Gira, his voice muffled by the cold, hard metallic floor his face was pressed against. He turned his face sideways so it wasn't getting smashed into the floor. He took Gira's hand and helped himself up easily with the help of Gira. "W-well, alright. If you say so... I'll try an get used to this." Kluttz grunted, straining to stand and actually move around in this training session. "Why would anyone torture themselves like this? It's beyond me. But, if this is the way to get stronger then I guess I'll have to deal with this hell." Kluttz thought to himself. The swordsman slowly slide his right foot ahead of him, and then his left. He slowly was working his way to being able to walk around in this environment, however, he must keep to his name sake. He quickly become confident an tried to walk, making himself nearly face plant into the ground. "Shit! Oh whew! I thought I was about to face plant into the ground there, glad I didn't." he chuckled, standing back up on his own, surprised that over time, his muscles adapted to this and made it so it pushed himself to getting stronger. However, he himself was not used to this and could only slide around; any movement with lifting up his leg only sent him crashing back down to Earth, much to his dismay. "Yes please, I need to get used to this. I'd LOVE to actually walk, and not feel like a baby, sliding my way everywhere." Kluttz joked, watching Gira contemplate what do about this before going to look at some capsules and eventually pulling out one that had a ball in it. "So the premise is too toss back and forth then slowly work my way to actually moving around? Sounds simple enough." Kluttz pondered, wondering if it was the premise. "Hm, I thought so, well... Alright. My serve." Kluttz said, picking it up and serving it like a volley ball. GiraIM FUCKING DONE! Second time making this, even longer than the last!

Gira watched Kluttz as he tried to slide around the gravity chamber. The hybrid kept from giggling as not to appear rude. She didn't want to make it look like she found humor in his suffering after all. She certainly did not, but watching him struggle in this manner was slightly amusing. After a little bit of practice with walking, he was coming around to the training. He could move, at least. That was a start. She could work with that. "Don't worry too much. You'll get used to it fairly quickly. I remember my first time with gravity training. Articho-sensei let me use his gravity belt. I got used to it fast enough. Just keep working at it. You gotta keep pushing yourself and you'll manage it in the end." The hybrid smiled at her training partner. "But yeah, we'll play a simple game of catch. It should be easy at first, but we'll slowly crank up the heat until you can move as close to your full speed as possible. It should be fun." Then, once the two were ready, their game began. Kluttz served her the ball in a way one would serve a volleyball.
Gira was used to gravity training, and times ten gravity training was a walk in the park to her, so this game of catch would prove simple, she figured. As the ball came near, Gira stayed where she was, tracking it as it came towards her. She then used both hands to bop the ball ever so slightly, sending it upwards and back to Kluttz in a slow, predictable arc. She would start them off nice and easy in the beginning. Once she felt Kluttz was getting used to the gravity, she'd kick her game up a notch or two depending on how the swordsman handled himself at this level. Gira was eager to begin the real training, but she would be patient for the sake of her partner. It was important for him to get used to the gravity before they began the truly intense stuff. It helped to mitigate the risk of injury, much like stretching before any workout.

Kluttz noticed Gira barely holding in her laughter and pouted, having an annoyed look and called her out for it. “Hey! Stop! This is hard!... Are you sure? I’m not a Saiyan like you! I don’t have super powered stuff! Wait… Articho? The turtle guy who lives on the all the islands?... Well, aside from that, I don’t think I’d be capable of dealing with higher than this. I’m too weak.” Kluttz sighed, annoyed at how weak he was. Here he was, a grown ass man, getting shown up by a kid. “Well, If you say so… I’ll try and have some fun I guess.” Kluttz said, dejectedly. He watched the ball slowly rise into the air and come back down to Gira, and she hit it back, making it pretty much do the same thing. He smirked, and when the ball came back to him, he hit it away from her and to the side of her, wondering out she’d get it. Gira Here thy go~!

Kluttz's reaction to Gira's amusement didn't help matters. In fact, once she knew she was caught, the teen let out a barely restrained giggle. "Sorry! Sorry! I promise i'll stop." The teen giggled a few more times to let it all out. After that, Gira learned an interesting bit of information from the swordsman training with her. "Wait, you know Articho? Well, I mean, that sounds like him. I don't know who else it would be." She chuckled and scratched the back of her head. "But yeah, I like him. He's a good sensei. I've gotten a lot stronger since I started training with him." She flexed proudly before looking back at her partner. "Don't worry about being too weak either. To get stronger, you just gotta want to get stronger. That's what's working for me, at least." The hybrid smirked as their game really began to get started.
It was clear that Kluttz was trying to up the intensity as he smacked the ball back towards Gira , trying to smack the ball at her side. "We'll get you used to the gravity soon. Let's kick it up a notch to help with that!" The half-Saiyan leaped into the path of the ball, smacking it in a wide arc towards her opponent's right flank at even greater speeds than previously. Her hope was to get her training partner to move in order to counter her. Gira decided that she was going to keep the heat on through the rest of their training. It was the best way to improve after all.

Kluttz had an annoyed look and was blushing a small amount from Gira laughing at him.”Why am I blushing?! I shouldn’t be this embarrassed from a kid!” Kluttz thought, shaking his head, attempting to focus on training more than this embarrassing thing.
“Hm? Arti? I seen him before but I don’t know him exactly. I saw him before and asked him to train me but I dunno how that will go, I’ll admit he seems like a pretty chill dude. I’d love train with him. Would you suggest him as a trainer?” Kluttz asked, watching her get the ball easily.
“Eh!? W-wait, don’t turn it up yet!” Kluttz stuttered watching Gira hit the ball to the side as he made his way over to the ball and jumped, hitting the ball back to her and crashed into the ground and groaned in pain.

Gira's eyes widened in surprise as the strike from the ball knocked her training partner over. The half-Saiyan quickly reached one hand out and caught the ball with ease. 'Crap!' The teen silently prayed that he wouldn't be hurt as she hurried over to him. "You okay, Kluttz?" Gira set the ball down on the ground and offered her hand to help the swordsman up. "Sorry. I didn't think that would knock you down. Hey, you managed to hit it back to me though. Nice job!" The half-Saiyan gave her partner a thumbs up and flashed him a grin. Gira had to admit that she didn't believe this training session was going over well.
While she was having fun, she would have to get the swordsman used to the gravity and soon, or else they wouldn't even get to the real training! Then again, Gira didn't want to rush things if Kluttz wasn't ready. Then AGAIN, you had to push your limits to truly learn. Gira looked like she was thinking for a moment, then smiled at her training partner. "Okay, I think this isn't really working. Let's see how far you've come before we begin our next stage of training." The half-Saiyan lightly kicked the ball out of their way and backed up to put a little bit of space between them. "Just walk over to me as best you can. That should give me an idea as to what we should do next."
Gira gave her training partner a smile before putting her hands behind her back and waiting for Kluttz. "Anyway, what were you saying about Articho-sensei? Is he worth learning from? I'd go with a heck yeah!" Her smile grew into a grin. "He's a real good teacher. I've almost doubled in power since I started training with him." She stretched in place. "Tell ya what, if you can land a single blow on me, i'll show you something cool that he taught me." She poked her cheek gently. "Just one blow. How 'bout it?" Gira stood there and looked at Kluttz with one hand on her hip and a finger still to her cheek, waiting for his answer.

Kluttz had a strained look on his face and he slowly pulled himself up. "Da-damn. This is hard!" Kluttz said, getting up on his own and waving Gira off, showing he was fine... Well, he acted like he was fine but y'know... That still hurt like a bitch. "I mean, it hurt but I'm fine. I'm at least used to the gravity somewhat. It's not like at the start of this where I have to deal with the gravity from the start." Kluttz explained, thanking that he's used the gravity somewhat.
"I managed to hit the ball back to you... Yay." Kluttz responds dejected, not seeing it as an accomplishment, more of something that anyone can do and he's failing at it. He smiled at Gira's attempt to cheer him up, he would admit, the girl was determined. But what she was determined aboot was the problem, he couldn't pinpoint it. He watched her, thinking for a moment and Kluttz wondered if she was gonna ask him to leave so she could actually train. He was holding her back and not helping her in the slightest.
"... I thought so, I'm just not cut out for this, am I?" He asked her, doubting himself as he wondered what he could do next. "Well, alright, what's the next thing Gira? Ta walk over to ya? Well, alright." Kluttz said, taking a breathe and taking his first long step. It was hard, but he actually did it, and it didn't feel like hell. He was actually able to walk a bit. Not be able to fight like at his full potential as he would want to, but he was walking somewhat.
"Holy shit, I think I'm getting used to this..." the swordsman muttered, slowly but surely making his way over to Gira. After a minute, he actually made it to Gira without a whole lot of trouble surprisingly enough. "Alright, what's next?... Wait, show me something? That sounds cool! But it's unfair, you are much stronger than me! How could I possibly hit you?" he asked with a sigh, already knowing this'll be a failing result.
He attempted to a large right hook at her face and then follow up with a flurry of punches at her, attempting to make her dodge around and finally, when she's hopefully distracted, he grabbed his sword and attempted to slash at her chest with the sword, knowing it would do jack shit but would hopefully hit her.

From how easily Kluttz was moving now, Gira could tell he was beginning to get used to the gravity. The teen clapped happily, then gave her training partner a thumbs up. Upon hearing her challenge, Kluttz didn't seem too confident. True, Gira was stronger. But if you came armed with a good strategy, you could potentially catch an opponent off guard enough to at least land a blow. The hybrid hoped that Kluttz could come up with a good strategy. Training the mind and the body at the same time. It was quite similar to a training exercise that Articho-sensei had them do. She thought back to them zipping around the sky as Gira attempted to catch him. The added weight from the gravity made it all the more intense. The hybrid was undergoing gravity training for the first time as well, so she could understand how her partner was feeling.
Now that he was getting used to it though, they could get down to business. Kluttz came at her with a right hook to her face, but Gira simply moved her head to the side to dodge the blow. Then came a quick flurry of punches. The half-Saiyan weaved through each and every blow, a smirk beginning to form on her face. "Come on, Kluttz! You gotta try harder than that!" Gira almost didn't see the man's sword coming before it was too late. 'Oh, crap!' The hybrid leaped backwards at the last second to avoid the blade, the point nearly grazing her chest. Gira landed about fifteen feet away, checking her outfit to make sure it wasn't damaged. Thankfully, the blade missed her. "Nice one. You almost had me there." Gira smiled at Kluttz before getting in a ready stance. "Care to try again?"
