His name is Botany, given at birth.
Alias:
Botany goes by Captain Botany as his rank in the Acrosian Empire is captain. Lower ranking soldiers are to use military formalities and call him “sir” unless they are trying to single him out.
Species:
Botany is of the Berī-seijin, and thus a Berī.
Gender:
Botany is classified as a Male of the Berī-seijin.
Age:
Botany is 28, well within his prime.
Appearance:
Botany is mostly covered in RIT styled battle armor, with a few modifications. His suit has additional thigh and crotch guards for added protection. The colorings are baby blue and tan with an undersuit the same color as the chestplate. His gloves and boots are both white. He wears a white helmet with a dark blue plate on its forehead that allows him to breathe in space. On his right arm is a purple arm cannon with a wire connecting to his helmet. Over his right eye is a green scouter, AE standard.
His body appearance is a chiseled frame at a medium height of 5’7” height and a weight of 128 lbs. His skin tone is fair, going on the pinker side. As for his hair, it is cut closer to his head like a high-and-tight. His pupils are blue and he has long, thick eyebrows that start out thin but grow out in a wedge shape. His nose is also pointed.
History:
Botany was recruited into the Acrosian Empire, starting out as a standard grunt due to his heritage as a Berī. He didn’t see any combat that was until the collapse of the Empire’s leadership. He had been stationed on a space platform meant for logistical services as a guard. Once it was known that the Empress was dead, there was a quarrel amongst the leadership of the platform in terms of what to do. No noble was close enough to lay claim over them. After brief debate, and the chief loading officer being shot, it was decided that the platform would act on its own and provide services to passerby’s. Botany, who was recruited to fight for the Acrosian Empire, had mixed feelings about everything going on. This changed when a local noble who was passing with their own corps decided to attack the installation when it refused to pledge allegiance. A strike force sent out by the noble tested Botany and the guards. Botany, getting his first bit of actual combat, jumped on the opportunity to defend. A heated battle ensued to which the guard took heavy losses. Botany and his comrades had managed to surprise the superior soldiers with their own will and dealt enough losses for them to call a retreat. Botany had earned a reputation among them afterwards since he had all but spearheaded an assault against the attackers. It wasn’t until the pride wounded noble sent out half of his corps to deal with the station, the other half going for his intended target that was another noble. Botany, prior to the engagement, had decided to take guard duty. When the siege layers arrived in their shuttles, Botany managed to destroy two of the pods before the soldiers could get out. He alerted the garrison and helped start the second battle for the station.
Botany fought alongside a high officer during the lengthy conflict, doing great amounts of damage to already occupied soldiers and taking them on ill prepared. When another officer had died, he got a field promotion on the spot. This had surprised him, almost throwing him off of his game, but he did not hold back to keep battling. It wasn’t until the noble had showed up that he and his men thought about surrender. Command of the station quickly ordered him to disengage as the noble took command of the platform. Being merged into the force of the noble, he maintained his rank on account for his performance in the first and second battle. He would be moved from the station and placed in charge of an assault team meant for attacking low threat targets.
Soon after his placement under the noble, Abzerute had risen to power and now he responded to him. Command had decided to keep him in his position of captain, but his role changed from being a commander of an offensive strike team, he was placed in the roster of Abzerute’s own legion, being placed under direct command of the bronze Acrosian. That was, until he was destroyed, consumed by the seemingly infinite civil war. He was then placed under Koldar, as he was next in line.
Once he found out that Koldar was now a vassal ruler for another empire he had not heard about, he had grown tired of the ever constant change in high command. "It is hard being a loyal soldier when your loyalties are forced to constantly shift" a direct quote from him upon hearing the news. Becoming frustrated with the Acrosian Empire's state, he contemplated abandoning his post. He stayed within the ranks, however, when he persuaded himself to give a little more patience. Koldar had to be the last higher up in the AE, so another change didn't seem likely until the slug empire they were vassals to decided to press them into their own empire.
