With a light groan, the large, red half-ogre stretched her tired body in its seat. From one of the highest branches in the tallest tree, she could see all around for miles. The grassy fields rolled underneath the purple, featureless sky, and the sharp mountains reached high at the very furthest distance she could view. All across the land, the fluffy little clouds of souls of the dead were floating around, some harassing the native ogres and others getting into fights.
From what she'd gathered, there was a war between entire planets happening, which only lead to an increase in the population of hell.
Groaning again, Rosemary reached up and grabbed hold of the branch above her as she stretched her tired legs and back once more. Training after so long had taken a toll on her body, but the result would definitely be worth it. A faint grin adorned her face, with just a bit of liquid dribbling out of the corner of her mouth and dripping off her chin. Her tail wriggled around the thicker limb underneath her for a moment, and she brought the half-full gourd back to her mouth to partake in more of the golden liquid within.
"Ahh." She gasped through her stupid grin, and let the emptied container hang limply in her fingers. This wasn't so bad, she thought. Everyone spoke of hell like it was supposed to be a terrible place, but she was quite enjoying herself. Her home was coming together, and her training was going well. A quick glance downward brought her dark eyes to the golden bands around her forearms, which only proved how much her strength had returned now that she could hardly feel their weight impeding her movements.
Her thoughts swam for a little while longer, slowed some by the rising tide of drink. The dull ache of worn and torn muscle just underneath the skin was becoming more dull by the moment, and her eyes grew heavy. Well, a nap wouldn't be so bad right about now, she thought with the same grin. Besides, she was safe here. The ogres didn't have time to bother with her, and none of the clouds held any power of their own to threaten her with. She could... just... rest her eyes a bit...
Slowly, the white-haired woman drifted into a light slumber, and the hollow stone gourd slipped from her loosening grip. Miraculously, it missed every branch on its way down, though she hadn't seen it hit the ground.

Bell floated aimlessly among countless others through the limitless abyss of hell, slowly becoming irritated despite his previous vow to stop getting angry at random, as it honestly didn't help him now anymore than it did when he was alive. However, though he actively tried to suppress it, the constant pushing of the crowd eventually drove him to start yelling profusely, pushing his away out of the cloud with his small puffy body before wandering off away from them.
He'd let out a ghastly sigh as he floated on his own now, cursing himself for dieing and being forced to reside within a cloud. But, things just kept on getting worse and worse for the blue puff. A gourd came spiraling down and straight onto what would classify as Bell's head. It bounced off, landing nearby and causing Bell's puffy brow's to narrow. "....fuuu.... fuuuu..... ffu-" he said, attempting to suppress his curses, before finally screaming- ".. GOSH DIGGLY DOG DARNIT!!! WHY ARE THERE JUST GOURDS FALLING FROM THE SKY"
Bell went quiet after letting out his anger, deciding to instead look around for the cause of the singular gourd being dropped on his nonexistent head. He looks up, spotting the sleeping ogre and concluding it was probably her. Grumbling angrily, he picks up the gourd with his puffy arms and slowly floats up to the branch where she was sleeping on, going a bit further so as to position the gourd he was holding above her head, before dropping it, saying angrily- "Hey.. you dropped this..."

In her shallow slumber, the red-skinned woman could feel something approach. What was it? She hadn't the faintest idea, but it was definitely a something. She could smell it, transparent and familiar and as weak as a something could possibly be. Within her snoozing mind, she toyed with thoughts of the something smell belonging to animals from home. She still missed Sadala, even if hell was a comfortable replacement. Hell didn't have the animals, and the people were much angrier than normal.
Before she knew it, the oddly familiar smell of the something was above her, and something had hit her on the head. With a groggy weight trying to pull her back down into her sleep, she stirred. Her dark eyes fluttered open slowly, and a light groan answered the newcomer. For a brief moment, it almost looked like she would fall from her branch, but a lethargic arm caught the trunk of the tree and pulled her back into place. The same hand then fell to her head, where it pulled the dropped gourd free from its resting place between her horns.
"Oh... Uh, thanks..." Wait, she thought while rubbing the fatigue from her eyes. She'd been speaking the wrong language again. After a moment to tell her tongue and lips what to do, she tried again, this time in the modern dialect she'd been so diligent in learning this past month. "Th-Thanks."
By the time she'd bothered to take a good look at the... something, she realized why it'd felt so thin and weak. The almost featureless cloud floated beside her, held aloft by its own power and holding out a suspiciously limb-like portion of itself. Well, she thought, that was something new. She hadn't seen a soul lift anything before, or do more than hover so much as a foot or two above the ground, really.
"Did you want some?" Rosemary held out the gourd to the cloud, though it had obviously been nearly empty when it'd given it back to her. However, now, it sloshed audibly with its quite pungent contents.

Bell groaned angrily at the female ogre, who still had yet to apologize for dropping the gourd on his non-existent head. He brushed that aside though, noticing the her grogginess and recalling that she'd just woken up. He let out a sigh of frustration nonetheless, he definitely wasn't used to dealing with people. He'd turn his puffy body away from the ogre woman, getting ready to isolate himself one again amidst the endless crowds of souls when he was suddenly offered a drink by Rosemary.
"A drink? like.. rum or beer or whatever?.... i mean.. sure but i dont think i can really "drink" with this body right now anyways.. and its not like that thing had anything inside of it..." he'd say, turning back towards the woman slowly before taking the gourd from her grasp, the gourd surprisingly weighing a lot more than it did earlier. "What the.... why's it weigh so much now..." Bell asked, lifting the gourd up to were he thought his mouth might've been. It occurred to him though as the liquid begun to pour out of the gourd that he didn't exactly have a mouth, so when the liquid hit Bell's puffy body, it sort of just rolled off the side of his blue cloudy body.
Bell looked at the gourd, sighing angrily- "well that was a bit of extra stress i didn't want to deal with today.." He muttered, dropping the gourd from his puffy grasp and watching as to tumbled to the ground. "I guess that helped a little though..." he chuckled before floating back down towards the gourd and slowly bringing it back up to rosemary, knowing that if he hadn't, it would've just caused unnecessary tension between the two, which he didn't really want since she'd been kind enough to offer him a drink. He'd then look over at rosemary, noticing her body and how she'd looked different from all the other ogres he'd met so far. Out of morbid curiosity he'd ask- "Say.. you wouldn't happen to be one of those resurrected souls right?.... a soul thats somehow gotten their body back?" Without really expecting an answer.

To be honest, she hadn't been entirely sure what to expect. She'd never seen a soul drinking or eating, but then again, she'd never bothered to ask. Where would the mouth have been, anyways? As her mind slowly caught up with what was going on, and the last remnants of her temporary snooze were being forgotten, she watched with mild amusement as the blue-tinged cloud poured the stout ale over itself.
She couldn't do much about the quiet giggling that shook her shoulders following that sight.
"A what?" Rosemary asked the soul in return, as it'd used a word she'd never heard before. Resurrected. Playing with the syllables on her tongue for a few seconds, she decided it was too difficult to attempt to pronounce it right now. Besides, her newly met acquaintance was speaking again. "Um, no. Sorry," she offered an apology while she pulled herself by the next limb up on the tree into a more proper sitting position; one which put far less pressure on her lower back and let her tail have more room with which to move.
"I'm still alive, I think..." The last bit of her reply was muttered underneath her breath, surely too quiet to have been heard. She still wasn't entirely sure of what had trapped her in the first place, or if she'd just been dead the entire time. Unfortunately, none of the ogres she'd asked had known, either. "Why?
"I mean," she continued as she took the gourd back from the inquisitive cloud. Just as she brought the again-empty container back to her lips, the sounds of disturbed liquid echoed from inside. "I'm not supposed to help you." The horned woman put added emphasis on what she'd been told by the other ogres, just before the bittersweet juice hit her tongue.

Bell sighed, hearing the word's "No Sorry". He'd been searching for a way (if it was even possible) to return to life, even if "returning to life" meant only having his body revived. "Tch..... no reason i guess..." He answered Rosemary solemnly, expecting Rosemary who didn't seem to be like the other Ogres to help him out a bit. Bell then remained Quiet for a while, listening to Rosemary rambling on in the background about whether or not she was alive. That was when Bell heard her say "Im not *supposed to*". The phrasing of that had made Bell immediately curious.
"....What do you mean "not supposed to"...... does that mean you "might" help me.." Bell questioned, Pressing the question further and beginning inching closer to the ogre as he did so. "And what "might" i have to do to get you to help me..." Bell asked, hoping that maybe he'd hit the nail on the head and finally managed to find somebody who could help him obtain a body. 'If there is anything i can do.... please.. tell me!...." Bell begged, beginning to get desperate. "this form of mine is so dishonorable..... So stupid... So IRRITATING......I MEAN I CAN BARELY FRICKIN GENERATE ARMS..... I CAN'T EVEN DRINK BOOZE.. IMAGINE HOW HARD IT IS FOR ME TO BE LIKE THIS!!" He pleaded to the female, trying to get some sympathy out of her with the booze comment.

Oops. She wasn't supposed to have said that. She really wasn't supposed to have said that. It was bad enough that so many souls had been escaping on their own recently, as she'd been told, but what would the other ogres do to her if she'd had a hand in one leaving when it otherwise couldn't? Truthfully, she didn't want to know...
Then again, the desperation in the cloud's small voice did tug at... something in her breast. She could certainly understand its frustrations. The lack of arms and inability to eat or drink, not to mention how the ball of blue fluff could never fight again in its condition! She had to think about it, though. She couldn't just return something to life with a snap of her fingers.
To begin with, she hadn't the faintest idea how she would do it.
"Well," Rosemary hummed aloud, as she lowered the stone gourd from her wetted lips. Pursing one corner of her mouth in thought, she straightened up more, and placed her hand in front of herself on the limb to keep her balance. Finally, after a few moments of silence, she grinned and nodded a little. "Fine, but you can't tell anyone. I might know how to put you back in your body, and I might be able to take you out of hell." Again, she was putting emphasis on her words to get across how she wasn't entirely sure about her own methods.
"Nobody can know about this, though. If word gets out, there's no telling what the ogres would do to us." She thought briefly of her short time spent talking with Greeve in his cell, buried so deep under the earth and magically bound so that he couldn't have escaped of his own power. She didn't want to think about being in that same sort of situation herself. "And, in return, you...
"You'll owe me." A small, mostly innocent smirk crossed her lips as she sat back against the large trunk of the tree again. She didn't have anything terrible in mind, but neither did she really have any idea of what she could demand in return for her aid. A part of her simply wanted to help the poor soul to have a body again, then another was wondering how strong it might be after. She hadn't had much luck finding training partners here in hell, after all.

Bell stared over at Rosemary blankly as she hesitantly agreed to help him, blinking a few times in confusion before quietly muttering- "Well shit, that worked?". His demeanor would quickly change though as he pumped his nonexistent arms into the air, Excitingly thinking "Hahahahah.. it worked!... I didn't think ogres were the sympathetic types.... Honestly thought she'd see through my lies.. Hehe.. ive never even drunken booze before! ". He'd then turn his attention back to the female ogre, who had continued to speak.
"Dont worry.. dont worry.. i wont say a word.. "Promise"...." Bell said reassuringly, slightly ecstatic now that he'd finally gotten an opportunity to learn about how to get his body back. Rosemary then begun to speak about the trolls and about "what they'd do to us if they found out". He'd let out a few chuckles, before replying- "The ogres?... ive sized up every ogre ive met thus far, none of them are even close to how strong i was when i died.. nor were they as strong as the man who killed me..." He said, a flash of anger in his voice appearing as he mentioned the man who killed him. "King of the afterlife... what a joke.." he thought, his mind slowly zoning out of his conversation with the lady ogre.
When he'd zoned back in, the only word's he heard were- "You owe me" causing his eyes to zoom back up to the ogres face, noticing her smirk. "I really dont like the sound of that..." he said, his face (not visually) becoming distasteful as he sighed before continuing- "But i guess i dont have a choice... ill repay my debts sooner or later..." he told the lady ogre, hesitantly extending out his little hand spikes in a sort of handshake gesture.
"Welp... lets shake on it then....."

Rosemary giggled quietly to herself while the cloud voiced its hesitation about the deal. She wished she could've read its expression right then, to get a better idea of what it was thinking, but she supposed that was another perk to helping it to get its body back. Before long, it'd ultimately agreed and extended another piece of itself in gesture, though she was left at an impasse.
Nama hadn't mentioned anything about such a custom. She guessed it was supposed to be its hand, but what was she supposed to do? Back on Sadala, each tribe had had its own greetings, some very simple and others wildly complicated. So, so many of them had used their hands like the nameless cloud, too. Then again, she couldn't assume that things had stayed the same over entire millennia, could she?
Seconds later, the confused woman extended her own arm to return the gesture as best she could. With a closed fist, she bumped the limb-like stretch of... whatever fluffy thing souls were made of with her own. Grinning with a mix of satisfaction and the pleasant tide of drink that'd risen higher in her head, she placed her hand on the limb underneath her beside its sister.
"Oh, I'm Rosemary, by the way." She offered her own name to complete their agreement, and her tail unwound itself from her wooden seat. "What do I call you?"

Bell's hand recoiled slightly, taken aback by the strange "handshake" Rosemary had made. He shook his puffy arms, almost as if trying to shake off a weird feeling before mouthing the words "Alrighty then..". He'd then turn back to Rosemary, returning her smile (somewhat) before replying- "Rosemary huh... cool name.. Mines Bell.. Bell pepper....." He said confidently, placing his puffy arms at his sides and puffing out his cloudy chest in satisfaction. "Im a good for nothing hybrid soldier from the SSE... but that doesn't really matter does it?.." He said, before continuing- "Oh and uh, just out of curiosity.. would you consider yourself strong?... i kinda need to "level up-" Bell said, his puffy arms making "air quote" signs, or at least trying too. "-And to do that, i need a few training buddies, once i get my body back that is..." He finished, staying quiet for a bit before turning his puffy body around- "Ehhh... well that doesn't really matter either actually... i guess i can just train you up to a level that you dont need to worry about those other ogres as a means to slowly repay my debt.." Bell proposed, turning his nonexistent head back towards Rosemary as to see how she'd react.

"Would I..?" She nearly repeated the cloud's question back to it in her amusement. For a moment, her grin simply widened into a large smile, until she straightened her posture and gestured to herself with her hand. "Not only that, but I'm the greatest warrior on all Sadala! Why, others would come from miles away just to meet and spar with me!" The red-skinned woman beamed with pride in that fact, at least until she remembered just how long it'd been since she'd been home.
"Well, uh... I mean, I was." A slightly darker red marred her cheeks for a moment as she admitted to her folly. Slowly, her hand returned to its place on the branch underneath herself, and her innate sense of pride and bravado returned in full, along with her silly grin. "That's beside the point, though! My power may have waned," she held her arms up briefly to show off the golden wristbands that were magically weighing her down. "But, I'm growing stronger.
"In fact," she settled considerably as her well-lubricated thoughts wandered wherever they pleased. "If you want to get stronger, too, I could make you some. It doesn't take long." Her tail twitched excitedly behind her for a moment, before it, too, settled and wound itself around the limb again.

Bell's face, of course not visually morphed into a devilish grin. "Heh.. the greatest warrior huh... that actually peaks my interest slightly...." Bell commented, continuing after Rosemary had finished talking. ".. Well, if you're constantly growing stronger... then i guess that saves us some time...." Bell would comment, turning back to where he'd been previously staring off too, going silent for a few seconds before raising his puffy head. "....Well.. standing around here wont really help us out much now will it?.. we should get to work on retrieving my body...." Bell yelled enthusiastically.
"LETS GO!!!" Bell followed up, beginning to float off rapidly from where rosemary had been, expecting that she'd follow after him, or at least that she'd eventually meet back up with him.
I think that's an alright place to end this off
