The lookout was huge, for a structure that had been there for thousands of years it held up well and almost looked modern. Scargot had just announced his arrival but to no avail, the Kami had died just recently but that doesn’t mean that there shouldn't be anyone living here at all. Feeling the need to investigate whether or not this place was truly abandoned Scargot stepped in through the open door. Inside there was an initial door in front of him and then there was a hallway that went both left and right, seeing as he was already in front of a door Scargot put his hand on the knob. Taking a deep breath Scargot turned the knob and stepped in as he opened the door, inside the room was a throne. Above the throne was what looked like a stone statue of a dragon, “Could this be the earth’ dragon?” Studying the statue Scargot got an idea of what he was going to do when he became guardian, getting into the moment Scargot walked up to the chair and sat down. The feeling that came over him from the moment he sat down was incredible, he could see it now, the day he became Guardian of Earth and this throne was rightfully his as part of his destiny.
After a few short moments of dreaming Scargot shook himself, how could he be so ill-mannered he wasn’t the Kami yet and still he sat on the Kami’ throne. Deciding that now would be a good time to explore the rest of the lookout Scargot leaves the room, looking back one more time and smiling “I’ll be back.” He says as he shuts the door. Deciding to go left, Scargot begins to notice how empty the hallway was, having nothing on the walls or even an indication that this place really was the home of the Guardian of Earth.
Once he reached the end of the hallway, Scargot found another door and seeing as there were no signs anywhere he decided to just go for it, maybe it will be a room with some information he could use. Putting his hand on the door knob, Scargot attempted to open the door but this one was locked. Trying with all his might he couldn't open the door, not wanting to destroy the place he decided to leave it and go the other way.
“That door must have something incredible inside it, something that can only be used when a new Guardian is instated.” Scargot now knows the first thing he is going to do when he becomes Guardian.
Scargot makes his way down the hallway going to the other side of the building; on this side he finds some stairs, at first glance the stairs look like they lead into darkness but as Scargot takes a few steps down he begins to see some lights coming from different rooms. “I guess I better look through everything.”
Scargot goes through the rooms in order; the first room seems to be some sort of kitchen. It has pots and plates, a fridge, stove and sink. There didn't seem to be anything special about the place, maybe it was for the trainees and other people who might live up on the lookout. Scargot then heads to the second room, this room looks just like a normal bedroom. Everything was neat and tidy as if no one had slept in there for years.
Going to the next door Scargot began to realize that there was nothing important down here and no one living here at the moment in time. Scargot decided that this room would be the last one he looked in, opening the door and at first glance Scargot was disappointed. It was another bedroom, but this one had something in it Scargot looked closely and on the bed side table was a glass container, inside was something made of stone. Scargot walked over to the container and picked it up, upon further analysis he realized that his was a small stone made replica of the Earth’ dragon.
The dragon was probably the most important thing Scargot could find in this tower, he kept a hold of the container and went back to the top. Walking up the steps Scargot was still very intrigued by the craftsmanship and detail of the dragon, once he got outside Scargot put the container on the floor in the center of the lookout.
Scargot then quickly jumped to the right hand side of the lookout and stood on the edge, he observed the scenery and beauty that the Earth had to offer. He was excited that he had finally begun to fulfill his destiny; the only problem was he had no idea what he had to do now to become the guardian. He was going to need to meditate and remember what the elders told him, but first… Why is there no one here?
