When most people meditate, they normally find somewhere calm and peaceful, like a river or a waterfall. The sound of running water really seemed to help relax the mind in that regard.
This was probably why Greeve was now sitting, or rather hovering, above one of the blood fountains in Hello. His legs were crossed, and his eyes were closed, focusing on himself. A number of souls were staring at the ghost curiously, but nobody made a move towards him.
If Greeve was to continue his work, he would need to get stronger. Not just physically, but mentally. That was why he was here. Clearing his mind and strengthening his resolve to do what he knew had to be done.

(Thread PL: 10,091) Jurojin grinned, crouched down in a bush near the waterfall. Somehow, some ghost had broken out of the binds that an ogre had put them in; Jurojin had overheard it from a few other ogres he was talking to. And no other ogre could find him. Until now. He had stayed up for many tireless nights, following rumours from other souls, any trace of ectoplasm, and whatever souls with a body shape he could find. And now, it had all payed off. Now, he had finally found the ghost. Meditating! What kind of ghost meditates? Focusing on the task at hand, Jurojin took a deep breath, focusing his hydrokinesis to form a thin layer of ice around his skin, made up from the latent water vapour within the air, given additional protection from damage. Feeling around his waist, he felt his many bottles of water that he always kept with him, dangling around. Finally, after assuring everything was fine, he stood back up, straightening his face, and began to walk towards the ghost. "Attention!" he yelled at the meditating spectre. "You have commited many crimes against the divine kais and ogres, including escaping from the afterlife and going against an ogre's commands! Prepare to be apprehended!" Jurojin then vibrated the water molecules within one of the bottles, heating it up before reaching down and pulling it off the belt. He popped off the cap and threw it at the ghost, heating up the water more and more as it raced towards the spectral entity. The hybrid then pulled his sword from his back, holding it out, ready to fight.

Greeve should have figured him sitting out in the open would have attracted the attention of the ogres. Though to be fair, he thought they would have had more sense than to approach him and try to capture him. He had already dealt with Hell's jailers before, so he wasn't overly concerned about it. With a small twitch of irritation, Greeve opened his dark eyes.
Only to get a burst of scolding hot water in his face, the bottle it was contained in smashing against him. Now, most people would have responded to scolding hot water with cries of pain, but Greeve was someone who had an arm sliced off, and died TWICE and took it relatively well. This was more of an annoyance.
"I believe you may be somewhat mistaken. I have not met these 'holy Kais', and thus have committed no crimes against them." He slowly rose up to his feet, staring down at the ogre before him. Much like the one who had freed him, there was something strange about him, but it was something that he really couldn't care much about. "As for disobeying your commands, you lot have more than proven you're grossly incompetent at your duties. As such, I've taken it upon myself to do what you should be doing." He crossed his arms, his dark energy churning around him as a small smirk appeared on his face, "Though if you wish to try and 'apprehend me', you're more than welcome to try. Some people just have to face the consequences of their actions."

The finned ogre standing before the ghost was certainly... surprised, at the ghost's reactions to his attack. That was boiling water, thrown right at his face! But perhaps the rumours were true, that ghosts didn't feel pain. Ignoring it and focusing, Jurojin listened to his speech, and soon looked offended at the ghost's remarks. Ogres were incompetent at their duties? "Shut up with your insults!" Jurojin retorted, unable to think of anything clever. "I know we're actually good at them! You can't try to make excuses for breaking out!" Thinking for a moment, Jurojin decided to attempt diplomacy. He had broken out from a post set up by ogres that were Jurojin's seniors; it would be a good idea to try to take him in peacefully. "Now, I'm sure you wanna stay out here, free," the ogre began, forming a pair of handcuffs out of super-hard ice. "So, if you come with me, I'll make a case to some of the higher ups, and see if they'll let you stay out and enforce your, er, vigel, vigil, vichel... your not-lawful justice!" Quickly, Jurojin swiped one hand behind his back, a ball of blue energy appearing before a ball made of water, ice, and snow appeared around it, growing in size. He held out the handcuffs with his right hand, still beckoning for the ghost to accept his offer, but his left was still powering up that ball, so he'd be ready if the ghost attacked. "So, are you gonna come in peacefully?"

Greeve's eyes narrowed at the Gore's retort, before giving a sharp, mirthless laugh. "Is that right? Then care to explain why so many treat the Afterlife as a sort of gymnasium? They turn up here, get stronger, and then leave whenever they please. No respect for the sanctity of death. And you buffoons just let them get away with it.." There was no excusing the sheer incompetence of Hell's jailers on this one.
Then the ogre seemed to shift gears. Forming a pair of cuffs, he offered to make a deal with the higher ups if he came along quietly. Greeve's expression fell flat. Was this guy for real? First off, he had no gaurentee that he would keep his word. Two, there was no way he would convince the higher ups to let him out, even if he tried. Especially if he was back in their custordy. And all this was mitigated by the fact that he could feel the ogre charging up and attack behind his back.
"Seriously...?" he muttered in a tone that indicated he believed absolutely nothing of the ogre's offer. The ghost almost wished he would just attack him already. It would be less embarrassing than this sad display of 'cunning'.
