So I didn't see anywhere to apply for this, but I thought since there wasn't aturtle teacher, that I may try and take it on with Zilo, though he wouldn't teach turtle style, mostly due to him using Muay Thai, but he could still teach the crane styles Ki moves and such xD.

You can't be the turtle teacher if you don't teach turtle style Absolutely no offence intended, but did you actually take a moment to read what you're saying? XD Why would the turtle school teach crane school's style? that's what the crane school is for I would probably suggest you join up with Akio since he's the crane style teacher currently, you could then learn the techniques from him and potentially even help him run the crane school (gives you both a friend to RP with, and a goal to strive for), maybe inheriting it some time down the track if you stick with it and that is Akio's wish, but otherwise also being free to do your murry-burry-thialy-whiley style. If however that was a typo, and you meant to say turtle, than i believe the relevant info would be: So I guess the answer would be: To be the turtle school master you must be a master of the turtle style, teaching their fighting philosophy and techniques. Technically there is nothing stopping you also utilising another fighting style yourself as well, I guess, but why would you when you have those techniques at your disposal and your role is to teach and showcase their worth? XD Ultimate word goes to Revolution though, I'd hazard a guess that's it's strongly preferred you stick to turtle style if you're going to be it's master, but it's probably not a strict prerequisite. ------ Don't get too caught up on the idea that you 'need' to be a master/lord of something though some people end up falling into that trap and muddle up their character because of it. If your guy already has his own thing going, sometimes it's better to stay true to that. Also if your character has his own fighting style it might be worth holding out, as you may be able to make your own custom school for it if we include such a system. ((Now would indeed be the time for people to stick up their suggestions and stuff, for things to add or change, before everything gets too ingrained ;P ))

Naa naa, I wasn't thinking about that, and my brain was probably fried earlier due to no sleep, and just getting off work. I meant to say that I wouldn't be teaching crane style hand to hand. But Muay thai, and I'd still be teaching Turtle style Ki moves. Just my brain went on malfunction it seems, but as for being a master of something, I just thought to give it a try, since I haven't done anything like it before, besides for leading a small group.
So I don't mind if you make a offensive comment to me actually, it helps one improve in the right circumstance. But as for this I was meaning to say I'd still teach the turtle style, but I'd not teach the actual hand to hand combat of a turtle style since Zilo wouldn't know it. Only fighting he knows is Muay Thai. And was gonna state, he would still teach Turtle style ki techniques. But as my brain decided earlier today, that I needed to sound like a retard for a while today.
And because of that, I get to laugh my ass off now, cause I look like someone that had no idea what they had been talking about XD.

You did it again it seems. XD (also, note to self, don't use the O _ o face, ends up looking like a really pissed off guy for some reason...) Either way, I wasn't trying to be offensive in any way, I don't think you made an ass of yourself at all , sometimes I accidentally offend[since tone is harder to convey in text], so this time I tried to be careful by saying the 'no offence intended' bit. As for your question/reply; technically speaking there is no 'hand to hand' turtle or crane style, from a game-mechanical standpoint those 3 energy techniques listed above are 'the turtle style' that you teach people.

What??^^ I'm sorry but I'm in the midst of creating my character who I want to be a student of the Turtle School. But I thought whoever gets to be the master would have a background involving the turtle School itself. No offence to Zilo but I've read your characters background and there's not even a slight mention of your character relating to the school at all, so what exactly gives him the rights to the school? I don't want my character to be the master because I want to start off relatively weak and grow into a strong fighter but surely I'm not the only one who thinks your character seems completely wrong for the role?

Anyone who shows the initiative and dedication to the role may apply for it, assuming they are active, represent it's virtues, and are available for teaching the other members through RP. It is indeed preferable that they role-play a solid connection to the position, just like it is preferred to be human, but they do not necessarily have to have it detailed in their character history per se, ((for example, if wanted they could probably retroactively adjust their history by roleplaying out stuff set in their past)). Personally I would suggest perhaps the two of you could group together and plot out a little bit maybe Zilo arrives at the turtle school looking to master it's techniques and potentially become a teacher of it's virtues himself, and you, as another recently starting student, can play the dubious rival who thinks he isn't turtle school material and is out to prove yourself better Could be the start of a beautiful friendship (like goku and krillin when they first met)

I agree with the Baoinator. Either of you could potentially develop your character's to become the Turtle Sensei, but at the moment neither of you really fit the bill history-wise or fighting style (well, I don't know about barneyman apart from what he said, but yeah).
