The hybrid's move was disrupted by the demon grabbing his wrist! He stopped charging the ki blasts in order to get ready for what's to come next, a punch? A kick? It was neither of those things, but instead a knee to the stomach! The knee landing a clean hit on Cloud, him not expecting it. The knee caved in, hurting both his stomach and ribs. Cloud coughed up some spit before the demon let go of him, now trying to spin kick! He's going for the stomach again! thought Cloud. He couldn't dodge in the position he was currently, so he either had to take the hit or...grab the leg! As it approached, he blocked his stomach from the leg with his hands. Granted it still hurt but not as much as it would if he didn't block his stomach! Once the leg impacted his hands, Cloud grabbed onto the cloth of the pants before immediately letting go. He was back on the ground! He would then try to foot sweep the demon's other leg, still on the ground, seeing as how the other leg was still midair, Cloud should be able to make the demon fall over! How will Sansho counter?

Both attacks struck against the boy, though one was blunted by his hands, reducing the impact somewhat but still with enough power to do damage. Sansho had delivered the intended blows, and perhaps even winded Cloud some, but they were only small strikes—a gauge for the hybrid, so to speak. The boy was resourceful though, hanging onto the leg of the lower half of the demon's gi to stop him from being hurled away, keeping the gap close.
The boy dropped low, trying to perform a leg sweep to take out Sansho's back leg in an effort to get him to fall over while he was still recovering from the kick. Sansho kept the kicked leg upwards, and as Cloud's foot connected with the hardened shin of the other, the demon spun as his back leg was taken out from under him. Sansho landed on his other leg this time, and the swept leg gained momentum with the spin and arced around, aiming to come down on Cloud's prone body in an impactful stomp.

Sweeping the demon's foot was successful, making the demon fall, only to land on his other leg! Sansho's back leg that got swept as well gained momentum, before coming down on Cloud's back! The spin and momentum gained only made the impact harder. The hybrid didn't have a plan after the foot sweep, so the demon recovering so quickly and trying to land another hit was something Cloud did not expect, or prepared for. He took about three hits by now, while he hadn't land even one yet! The demon's foot was still on the hybrid's back, how would he even escape? Cloud was getting frustrated, his judgement began to blur and he did whatever came to mind first, which was ki blasts. Cloud was face first on the ground, with the demon's foot still on his back. He shot ki blasts downwards, resulting in an explosion which the demon couldn't see through, or anyone in the crowd. He shot more and more, before getting propelled away from the force of the blasts. The demon was still in range to grab the hybrid, but would they be able to through the explosion and smoke?

The demon watched as the boy propelled himself through the air, fragments of the stone stadium floor flew outwards under the force of the ki blasts' explosions. Shards veered off into the crowd, with a few unlucky people getting struck by them against their bodies and limbs, but nothing overly serious. Gasps and cries rung out as it became apparent that this was becoming dangerous. Much of the crowd had backed up or had gone as far as to leave the area entirely.
Sansho was unperturbed by the continual escalation of their fight, his mind fixated only on the battle. His glistening crimson eyes shone through the veil of dust and smoke that billowed from the impact. But he needn't sight when he could sense where Cloud was. He could have reacted in any way, whether it was to follow the hybrid, or simply drag him back down to the ground before he could get away. He did neither.
The gap had been widened once more, with Cloud some distance away from Sansho. As the dust and debris settled, the demon glared at his opponent. He huffed. "Is this it, boy?" he called out, taunting him once again. "Is this all the fury you can muster?"

The demon surprisingly didn't make an attack, giving Cloud enough time to gain his balance. Shards flew from the explosion into the crowd, some not so lucky people getting struck by them. They screamed, realizing the danger of the fight. Some even leaving. Cloud could care less, if you can't handle the heat you might as well damn leave! The announcer started panicking, telling both fighters to tone it down.
The hybrid didn't pay any attention to the announcer's cries, focusing on the fight. He had to keep his distance from Sansho as well. The demon was obviously dangerous up close, their strength beyond that of Cloud's. They also had enough power and reaction time to shake off or counter his attacks. However, once the demon started taunting him, the hybrid's anger built up, erasing all the judgement and analyzation he had just seconds before. The demon asshole was doing it again! Underestimating him!
What did he say before? That the demon could shake off or counter any of his attacks? Ha! AS IF! "Yeah, yeah. JUST KEEP TAUNTING WHILE YOU CAN!" Cloud yelled, the intensity and drama of the fight filled the room. "ALL THE POWER I CAN MUSTER?! NOT EVEN GOD DAMN CLOSE!" The hybrid began flying, jumping forward at the tip of his toe. His face being that of a person blinded in rage.
Cloud stopped in his tracks when he was in front of the demon, jumping over him, and began to charge a beam that would land on Sansho's back. He shot the beam, with a maniacal smile. If the beam landed, he'd then try to kick the demon's back through the explosion.

A pitiful sight to behold, Sansho thought to himself. Gazing at the boy as his visage became clearer through the veil of dust, he could see that his opponent's anger, their hubris, and their pride was beginning to manifest into something dire. It was no doubt that their judgement was becoming cloudy, if at all there in the first place.
It was any wonder if this fight was even going to be the slightest bit interesting. As far as Sansho was concerned, Cloud was all bark and no bite—fitting for the whelp that he was. At this point the boy began to yell and curse in defiance, aiming to prove himself. A shame that the demon didn't praise one for their bluster.
As confident as the demon was, he allowed the hybrid to close the gap once more, wanting to see exactly what the boy would do. But they suddenly stopped, and flipped over him before landing behind. Sansho could feel an attack powering, listening to the hums and crackling of lightning. He turned to look over his shoulder, glistening red eyes catching the glimpse of a stream of lightning.
An explosion erupted as the attack struck. Black smoke and charred, stone dust billowed and erupted outwards. Most of the ring was covered in it, given how powerful the attack was. A single leg from the boy struck through the smoke… but connected with nothing, the kick serving only to sweep away the clouds.
The bright glow of red irises pierce the smoke from above. Like a bolt of lightning, Sansho, with blackened clothes and barely singed skin, came down on the boy. His arm was extended, hand bladed, aiming to strike Cloud on the back of his neck.
Should the strike connect, it would send to boy slamming down hard onto the ring floor, cracking the entirety of its surface from the force alone.

Despite the shards flying at the crowd, they were, for the most part, excited about Cloud's attack. The demon looked over his shoulder, their eyes meeting Cloud's, twitching. Once the beam was used, it surprisingly landed on the demon! The crowd cheered, and some sighed, being disappointed they betted on the demon. "Ha! How was that!" Both the crowd and the hybrid were wrong, as the demon intentionally took the hit, receiving no damage. However, not being able to sense ki or see through the clouds, both the hybrid and crowd couldn't tell otherwise. "It's not over yet!" Cloud said as he prepared to kick Sansho, only to fail.
His kick drove through the clouds, only to hit nothing midair. The crowd gasped in shock, some excited that their betting was correct. The roaring and cries of the crowd were cut off, after Cloud felt a hand strike his neck, his conscious disappearing. "W-What?" Cloud said before getting knocked out from the demon's powerful strike.
Like the crowd, the hybrid was also surprised when his kick hadn't connected to anything, leaving him open. His attention was fixated and trying to comprehend what happened, so much so he didn't see the sharp hand attempting to strike his back. Cloud's body was slammed down on the arena, cracking it entirely. Smoke formed from the hit alone. For a moment the audience was silent, in shock at how short the battle was, and how big the power difference was as well. Then, they roared with cheering and clapping, some getting up to collect their bets. The hybrid stayed unconscious while all of this happened.
