History:
Nolem was born in the Arcosian Capitol Sector to a female Arcosian known as Tundara. Like most Arcosians she was cold and brutal, even to her own son. Throughout his childhood he was talked down to and abused by both his mother and his peers. The reason for this constant abuse was his rather soft nature. Nolem, unlike most Arcosians, was kinder and gentler to others. Being far less sociopathic than everyone around him made life difficult for the young Nolem causing him to run off at the age of 14. Ever since his departure Nolem has been searching for a new home with people that are more accepting of his compassionate disposition. In order to properly find a place to settle down Nolem would often hitch rides on an assortment of space ships, usually in exchange for work.
Sadly Nolem is often confronted by those who assume he is naturally a troublemaker like most others from his species. These usually ended in fighting, which more often than not ended in victory. The constant fighting has turned Nolem into a wise and knowledgeable fighter with great ki control. After years of searching Nolem finally found a village on a small planet that could offer him peace, with kind people and a wonderful culture. This paradise did not last long however when the village was attacked and dominated by mercenaries sent to measure the strength of the planet. They came when he was out foraging for food, and he arrived too late to save anyone. Enraged, Nolem decimated the weaker mercenaries swiftly as if they were simple prey animals, then left the planet to brood in the vastness of space, thus giving him the name shadow walker.
Nolem now spends his time actively looking for people in trouble so that he may offer his assistance, as he never wants to witness a repeat of what happened to his last home.
One highlight from Nolem's past is when he worked on a cargo ship, the MSV Hylian. He applied to help load and unload any and all supplies coming on or off the ship from five various planets. On his journey he helped protect the ship from a couple of bandit attacks and even stopped a secret mutiny to kill the captain. One of the shipmates convinced a few others that they were being overworked and underpaid, both of which were untrue. They planned to murder their captain in the dead of night, however, Nolem overheard their plan and fought them off. They were eventually locked in a supply closet until they reached the next planet and were kicked off to be dealt with by the local authorities. Nolem was offered a permanent position as secondhand man, but refused believing that his path was meant to lead somewhere else.
