Thread PL: 41 864 Heavy Weights active! Sensed PL: 10 466 Gira looked at her watch as she waited outside her house. Over the winter break, she had Pota enrolled in school and now that the vacation was over, it was his first day. Gira had gotten ready earlier than normal, ate her breakfast, and now she was waiting outside her house for Kaci and Pota. The half-Saiyan was excited. This would be the first time she went to school with someone like her; a Saiyan. Gira looked at her watch nervously again. They would be late if they didn't hurry. She hoped Pota didn't forget. It wouldn't be that much of a surprise to her if he did. Pota wasn't dumb, but he could be... forgetful at times. With an exasperated sigh, she looked at Kaci's house, deciding to give them a few more minutes before bothering them. Pota [OOC] Sorry for the short post. I'm quite tired. @-@]

Pota groaned as the new alarm clock that Kaci and her mom had given him blared in his ears. Under normal circumstances Pota would have smashed the damn thing but it was one of the many things that they had given him in order to get by with day to day life. The young Saiyan had insisted on living in his shack outside of town. But all that got him was Kaci nearly yanking his ear off his head and telling him that he would catch a cold and die a miserable death if he continued living like an actual monkey man (HAHAA!!). So until Pota could either build or buy a new home he stayed in the basement of Kaci's house and slept well...everywhere he could lie down really (Pota's weird sleeping habits strike again!). Groggily he used his tail to turn off the alarm and got up with lazy stretch. 'Good thing Kaci reminded me to set an alarm, I almost forgot about my first day at school.' Pota thought to himself. "Well time for a morning warm up!" Pota flipped in the air and caught a beam of wood that supported the basement ceiling with the back of his legs. '100 sit ups, pull ups, and push ups.'
After he was done with his warm up he put on his civilian clothes. 'I refuse to wear that idiotic looking uniform.' Pota didn't mind the uniform entirely, in fact it was stylish up to the dress shirt is where his problem lied. 'Any Saiyan worth his salt wouldn't be caught dead or alive in a shirt like that.' Although he knew Gira would protest he deliberately didn't put it on and went upstairs to help make breakfast. After he was done eating he and Kaci went out to meet Gira who was waiting on them to show. 'I hope she doesn't say anything I'm not wearing that damn shirt.'
OOC: Its alright btw I think Pota has a badman shirt complex.

Gira was about to go knock on Kaci's door when she noticed her two friends coming out of the house across the street. 'Finally. I thought I might have to fly to school today.' She was about to greet Kaci and Pota when she noticed something strange; Pota wasn't wearing his uniform. It wasn't a Casual Friday at school, so he'd get sent home if he came to school without his uniform. Kaci must have noticed how Gira was looking at the young Saiyan, because she decided to explain his lack of a uniform.
"He, uh... he doesn't like the dress shirt." Kaci averted her gaze and Gira raised her eyebrow and looked at Pota.
"Pota. You have to wear your uniform. You can't go to school without it. They literally won't let you through the door." Gira crossed her arms and gave Pota a look that said "seriously?"
"That's what I told him." Kaci sighed and buried her face in her hand. Gira pat Kaci on the shoulder and turned her attention back to Pota.
"No problem. This can be easily fixed. We still have..." Gira looked at her watch. It was starting to get pretty late in the morning, but there was just barely enough time for Pota to go back inside and get his uniform on. "...We still have half an hour to spare. So go back inside and get your uniform on. We'll wait." Gira motioned for Pota to go inside.

Pota pondered Gira's words but then turned to go inside. "Fine I'll wear everything but the dress shirt it looks idiotic!" Pota sighed exasperated and turned to go change before Gira could respond. 'Seriously this thing makes me look like a circus clown!' Pota thought pridefully letting a little bit of his more Saiyanish nature slip then he would normally allow himself. As he went up stairs to change he glimpsed his armor sitting in a corner that his brother Onio gave him his last day on Vegeta, and sighed. 'If only I could wear that today but the Saiyan invasion hit this particularly school hard.' Thought the young Saiyan as he recalled what little of the part he played that he remembered up to his Oozaru transformation when he was with the SSE. Pota to this day was half excited to go to school and half afraid of returning to the scene of one his most shameful acts in his life. But Pota quickly pushed these feelings aside. 'Damnit I'm wasting time we'll be late' he thought as he hurriedly got ready for the day and rushed by Kaci's Mom at the door entrance. "Bye Mrs.-"
OOC: Didn't know Kaci's last name so I thought I'd cut him off here to set up for your next post. P.S. I'm giving you something to work with do not disappoint me.

Gira narrowed her eyes at Pota as he turned to leave "Kaci, what size shirt do you wear?" The other teen looked over at Gira with a confused look on her face.
"Uh... same as ever. Why?" The half-Saiyan narrowed her eyes even further.
"Hand me your extra shirt. Pota's going to be wearing his uniform today." The girl looked at her friend strangely, but didn't protest, digging in her bag and taking out a clean, white dress shirt. She handed it to Gira. The teen hybrid looked it over, then nodded to herself. "Close enough." Then she floated up into the sky a few dozen feet and flew over to Kaci's house, waiting right over the door for Pota to come out. Once he did, Gira dropped out of the sky right on top of the Saiyan! If she managed to drop onto him, she would begin wrestling Pota around, trying to get Kaci's shirt on him over what he was already wearing.
"You're... wearing... this... shirt!" Gira's power even with her weights on was still much greater than Pota's, so he would find it difficult to get her off of him, if he even could at all.
[OOC] lol I never mentioned, I don't think. Kaci's last name is Graves, so her mom would be Mary Graves.]

As Gira caught Pota off guard and pounced on him he realized in one horrifying moment. 'She's trying to put that damn shirt on me and..' Pota briefly sniffed the shirt and realized in terror. 'THIS IS KACI'S!!' Pota thrashed wildly and yelled. "Damnit Gira you are not making me wear a woman's shirt!!" As the young Saiyan flailed to and fro he then levitated into the air and with out his knowing which direction he shot off and flew in any direction he could hoping to knock Gira off him. "GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OOOOFF!!"
Unbeknownst to Gira or Pota they were heading directly towards town and due to Pota's frantic behavior failed to realize they were approaching the town at volcanic speeds. Meanwhile in town the restaurant Pota and Gira ate at when they first met was just opening and the man that Pota only knew as old man cook was opening shop.
"Ah what a peaceful morning to witness I'm thinking maybe barbecue squid today Pota and Gira usually like that." As he finished his sentence he heard a faint cry and looked around. "What the devil is that noise?" He then realized it was coming from above and looked up in the direction of the noise to see two figures wrestling in midair. "Is that Gira who is she wrestling with...Wait is that Pota why are they fighting?" He wouldn't have time to ponder long as Pota shot both him and Gira in his general direction at high speeds. "OH SHIT!!" He exclaimed as he dived outta the way of their collision course just barely escaping being crushed by the two. "For Kami sake you guys be more careful you could have wrecked my shop!!" Pota was too frantic to reply with any apology he simply yelled.
"DO NOT WANT SHIRT!!"

Gira wrestled around with Pota on the ground, trying to get him to hold still long enough for her to pull the shirt over his head. Unfortunately, Gira didn't notice that they were beginning to lift off the ground. "You should have put your own shirt on if you didn't want to wear Kaci's! Now stop struggling or we're gonna be late!"
"Uh... Gira?" Kaci tried her best to warn her friend before Pota began to try and shake her off.
"One... second...!" Gira continued her struggle with the other Saiyan. Before Kaci could warn her again, Pota began his flight to the city. Gira screamed in surprise as she continued holding on to him. "Damn it, Pota! What's wrong with you!? Stop!" As they passed by the old man from the restaurant, Gira shouted a quick apology to him. "Sorry!" As they continued flying, Gira struggled with a choice. If she didn't stop Pota now, he might hurt someone. "Don't... make me...!" The teen half-Saiyan steeled her resolve. It had to be done.
"That's enough, Pota!" Gira raised her hand and aimed a chop at the back of her sidekick's neck, aiming to daze him for a good long while so she could get the shirt on him and they could get to school. Thankfully, they were closer to the school, so they wouldn't have to worry much about being late.

Pota would fly wildly flailing and yelling all the while as Gira tried to put the shirt on him. As they came to what seemed to Pota was the city of West Capitol and he could smell old man cook's famous grilled bbq squid. "BBQ!?! My Favori-". Pota's thought was interrupted by Gira yelling.
"Thats enough, Pota!" As she karate chopped him in the back of his neck which swiftly knocked the young Saiyan unconscious and immobile... But unfortunately plummeting to earth at high speeds and heading straight for a vacant building. Where a human construction worker was pondering how he would go about deconstructing the building safely.
"I could use a wrecking ball but that would be too bulky I might hit other buildings or worse destroy them." Just as he finished the thought Gira and a now unconscious Pota came crashing into the building surprisingly toppling it without destroying much else around it. "Well I guess that solves my problem..." Laughed the shocked human nervously as he went on home in an obvious hurry. "Don't get paid enough for this crap."

All was still for a moment after the two collided with the building, causing it to crumble on top of them. After a few moments, Gira's arm popped out of the rubble, pulling herself up with Pota dragging behind her. The teen hybrid looked down at her clothes, groaning in frustration. The collision with the building had torn her uniform in several places and coated it in a thick film of dust.
"Damn it! These things are, like, super expensive to replace. Mom's gonna kill me." Gira looked down at Pota's unconscious form, picking up his tattered blazer and putting it in her bag. She then began grumbling as she dragged him through the streets and towards the school. On the way there, Gira heard her ringtone She reached into her blazer pocket and retrieved her phone. By some miracle, it was undamaged. "There's that at least." She sighed heavily and looked at who was calling, though the young half-Saiyan could guess. Just as she thought, it was Kaci. Gira tapped the green phone icon and put the device up to her ear. "Yo."
"Oh my god, are you guys okay!?" The concerned girl screamed over the phone. Gira winced and held the phone away from her ear for a moment.
"Yeah. We're just hanging out." Gira looked down at Pota as she spoke to her friend over the phone.
"Should I... should I just meet you guys there?" She asked, her tone indicating that she was confused.
"Yeah, we'll probably be there before you. See you there."
"Take care." The other girl sounded exasperated. The hybrid shared her sentiment. This certainly wasn't how she envisioned her morning playing out.
"Mhm." With that, Gira hung up and put her phone back in her pocket. "Okay, Pota..." Gira stood the unconscious Saiyan up and supported him. "Let's get to school." Gira then began to slowly make her way to her high school. She eventually arrived at the white stone building, one unconscious Pota in tow. She set him against the steps leading up to the school. "Hey. Hey, Pota. Wake up." Gira lightly slapped hims cheeks. Gira could feel eyes on her the whole time. The scene had drawn some curious stares from her classmates.

Pota woke from his unconscious slumber to Gira "lightly" slapping him."Ow! Okay I'm up Gira! Geez that really stings you kno-" Pota cut himself short when he saw the tattered and yet still reprehensible shirt he had on. The young Saiyan sighed in frustration with pouty face said "Fine but it doesn't fit so I'll need to adjust it some" he said as he tore the sleeves clean off to wear it more freely. "There that's better I can move now and the tattered look is more appealing any way." The young Saiyan said with a care free chuckle as he stretched before realizing to his horror this was Kaci's shirt. At that moment Pota remembered when he was half asleep and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth not noticing Kaci in the shower. All he remembered before he went flying into a wall was Kaci's hand rushing toward him as she screamed.
"Kaci Style: Slap of a Thousand Broken Jaws!!" The young Saiyan desperately didn't want to experience that ever again.
"GIRA WHERE'S MY BLAZER!?!?"

Gira watched in shock as Pota casually tore the sleeves off of Kaci's shirt. "I... I can't believe you just did that." It seemed the other Saiyan recognized his error too, since he was asking for his blazer in a more than slightly panicked tone. "Your blazer? Uh..." Gira searched through her bag, eventually producing the dirty, white article of clothing. "Here ya go." She handed it over to him. Good thing, too. As Kaci was nearby.
"Gira! Pota! Where are you guys?" The teen called from nearby. While Kaci had never hit Gira before, the hybrid had seen her friend angry. She had also seen her livid, which is what they were in store for if she found out Pota had torn the sleeves off her shirt. Gira chuckled a little to herself. Boy, Kaci had this way about her. Gira wouldn't be surprised if she could take down a Super Saiyan with a look. She was given one of those kinds of looks by Kaci and she felt like she was half of the human's size. As the voice of the other teen got closer and closer, Gira looked over at Pota.
"I'd get that on if I were you. She can smell your fear and shame. She'll find us soon." The half-Saiyan joked, crossing her arms and looking in the direction Kaci was coming from.

Gira didn't even need to finish her sentence as Pota was already hurrying to put on the blazer and cover up his torn sleeves like a kid who swept a broken vase under a rug. Which was just in the nick of time before he heard Kaci rounding the corner. Heeding Gira's warning he tried to stay as calm and innocent looking as possible so that he didn't tip Kaci off to his nervousnes then looked at Gira pleadingly.
"Please don't tell her my jaw still hurts from last time." The young Saiyan would then plead with big puppy dog eyes where you would almost expect him to start whining like one. The last time he was hit that hard with an open hand was by his mother back on Vegeta, though in his personal opinion his mother still took the gold for slapping people the hardest.

At Pota's plea to keep things quiet about how his jaw still hurt from the last time Kaci's hand met his face, Gira gave him a thumbs up. At that time, Kaci rounded the corner. "Oh, there you guys are. Didn't you hear me calling?"
"Sorry, Kaci. It's kinda loud out here. We didn't hear you." Gira chuckled and scratched the back of her head. After the two conversed for a moment, another familiar sight approached. He was a young man, about Gira's age. He was quite tall and muscular though. His hair was dirty blond and he had dark green eyes that seemed to be able to look right through you.
"Kaci, Gira! Hey guys!" He gave the two of them a warm smile as he approached. As he joined their group, he noticed Pota. He looked like he was thinking for a moment, probably wondering whether or not he had seen the Saiyan before. "Hey, man. Don't think i've seen you before. I'm Pence, third year." He smirked at Gira. "Former Captain of the boxing team too until this little lady came along." He playfully punched Gira on the arm. The half-Saiyan waved him off.
"Need I remind you that you're the one who gave the position up?" She smiled at the blond boy.
"Yeah, 'cuz you were a better boxer in every way. But just you wait. At championships this summer, you'll see what I can really do."
"I hope so. You were really slacking last year." Gira joked, looking up at her teammate.
"You wound me, my lady." Pence put his hand on his chest in a dramatic fashion before looking over at Pota. "Say, you looking to join a team? Boxing always has openings. You look tough."
"Uh, actually, I don't think that's a good idea." Gira seemed a little nervous. She wasn't sure if Pota could hold back enough to not hurt his opponent badly. Or Kami forbid, kill them.
"Come on, Gira. We need all the bodies we can get for championships." Pence seemed pretty stoked to hear Pota's answer.

The young Saiyan looked at Pence confused for a moment he didn't know what boxing actually was due to his time on Vegeta where it was referred to as sparring or brutally beating your enemy into a bloody puddle.
"Umm... Boxing does that have to do with card board or something because I can't say that's my thing..." At that moment Pota looked over at a poster that read "BOXING" in bold letters and a picture of two people punching each other. Pota's face lit up like the tree of might with Christmas lights on it as his voice changed to one of excitement and pure glee. "You mean sparring you guys have sparring classes!?" He looked excitedly at Gira. "You never told me about this Gira!!" Redirecting his attention back to Pence. "Where do I sign up!?" Pota was practically jumping for joy now. He couldn't wait to meet all the strong people in the school and now there was an event for just that.

Pence chuckled at Pota's enthusiasm. "That's the spirit! Just have Gira bring you by the gym after school. Practice is today, so with any luck, you can get started immediately." Once that was said, the warning bell rang. They had five minutes to get to class. "Well, back to the mines." Pence joked, turning to walk to the main school building. "See ya guys later. Nice meeting you Pota. Hope to see you at practice today!" The other student broke into a half jog, heading away from them. Gira and Kaci began to walk towards the building. Once Pota decided to join them, Gira gave him a warning.
"If you want to join boxing, that's great, but you're gonna have to hold back a lot. Like I said when we first met, humans aren't as strong as us on average. These guys are stronger than those muggers, but they still aren't at our level. If you're not careful, you can seriously hurt or kill them, okay?" Gira paused for a moment. "Just... just be careful. We don't need that today." The hybrid looked a little nervous. Pota wasn't from here. He didn't seem to understand just how powerful people on Earth were. Or were not. At last, they made it into the building. Kaci turned to Pota as Gira led them through the halls.
"First is home room. That's with Miss Chal. She's pretty strict, but she's nice." The blond Earthling walked alongside Gira, up a set of stairs and into the classroom marked 5-C. Students began to file into the class in front of the trio. Once they entered, they would spot an older brunette woman in her mid forties sitting at the desk at the head of the class. This was presumably Miss Chal. She had thick black frame glasses and was reading a book.
"Just sit with me and Kaci, Pota. She doesn't really have a preference for where people sit." Gira went up the stairs to the place where the students sat, making her way to her seat. Kaci followed, sitting down next to her. There was a spot on Gira's other side that was free as well as several empty seats in other parts of the classroom. Once Pota chose his seat, the final bell would ring. Class was now in session. Miss Chal put her bookmark in her book to mark her place and sat it on her desk. She stood, straightening her white shirt and standing before the students.
"Good morning, students." She said simply. Staggered "good mornings" came from the rest of the class, Gira and Kaci included. "I'm excited to welcome a new student to our class and our school." She picked up a binder from her desk and flipped through a couple of pages. "Hm... let's see... Pota!" She called up to the Saiyan. "Why don't you come down here and introduce yourself."
