A great sprawling jungle for as far as the eye could see, the massive trees engulfing the foliage, animals, and monsters held within. Bamboo Forest, as the place was known, was one of the deep dark places of the world and most humans stayed well away. Most, anyway. Cel'Daren Mithanil, a Bio-Engineer and sometimes mercenary for the Blue Banner Army, was currently sitting beneath one of the massive trees, arguing with a voice on his datapad about who he was.
”..How many times am I going to have to repeat the verification codes? I am Katsu Yuda...” Cel'Daren said in a calm voice despite the words he spoke. He didn't get upset often now, everything was too interesting for him to get angry most of the time. Still, he was beginning to find himself frustrated as the Blue Banner Army technician on the other end of the commlink continued to protest.
”We have no ability to prove your identity, even if we accept that you are the one registered as Katsu Yuda, your bio-metrics are all wrong. Fingerprints, iris scans, DNA scans, voice recognition, facial recognition. All your data is just...not matching up.” the voice insisted.
Sighing, Cel'Daren pondered for a moment. He had already given all the information. Passwords, account numbers, knowledge that the BBA knew only Katsu knew. The works, but they were still hesitant to declare him the same person that they knew before. Which was important for a lot of reasons, but mostly financial ones. Eventually however Cel'Daren had an idea, ”Alright look. How about this? Give me a mission that you would normally have me do, and send over one of the KAOS members to monitor me and ensure mission success if I fail. Then, when I complete the mission successfully you'll know that I at least have the same competence as you'd expect from Katsu Yuda, and then your lawyers will stop whining at you that I might be like some Jungle Prince come to ask for your bank account information. It'll be more financially viable to send me Katsu Yuda's missions than it would be waiting for him to show up...because he is me and my old appearance isn't coming back.”
The voice stammered a bit, but after a long pause with voices barely audible conversing in the background, they came back and exhaled a deep sigh, ”It seems your idea was taken favorably. With Shapeshifting and Transformations becoming a more common ability they've accepted that standard biometrics might be insufficient identification. Your brain scans do match up with Dr Yuda and so they're willing to have this be a test. A KAOS member will be arriving sometime soon to inform you of and assist you with a mission. Luckily for you it seems there's some trouble in Bamboo forest. Good day.” The voice blipped off, the commlink severed immediately.
”Well, that's that. I never thought how much difficulty might stem from an appearance change like that. I should probably try and come up with something to provide a better means of identification in future to avoid little mishaps like this...” Mithanil wondered to himself, standing up and stretching a bit.
Now of course Mithanil had nothing to do until the KAOS member showed up, and Mithanil decided it was best to try and train a bit more, to get in a warm up before he was given his mission. Thus began the stretches and calisthenics, kept at merely human levels to hide his powerlevel. Luckily for the KAOS member Mithanil\s contact lens Scouter contained a GPS signal that would allow a BBA member to home in on him easily. As he began his three-hundreth handstand pushup, Cel'Daren began to wonder what kind of person he was going to meet, and if they were terribly strong like Vi Poi was?

Aina had been resting within her space ship out in the outer atmosphere when she received the message from control. A KAOS member was needed for some dirty work down inside the Bamboo Forest and she was the only one still left in close enough orbit to do it in a decent amount of time. So she was awoken by her computer automatically accepting the mission and letting her know that she had a fresh mission. Waking up from her brief slumber she had gotten herself ready as the compute began to relay out the information to her.
The mission seemed simple enough. There were some people to deal with within the Bamboo Forest and she was to meet another operative and the duo was to work together to accomplish the mission. She was still unused to doing these missions as the only duo partner she had had during her days in the Earth Military was her now fellow KAOS member Ryder. This would be an interesting thing for her for certain. Her ship would come into from the low orbit that it was resting within and she would wait for it to tell her that it was safe to leave. Dropping out into the air she would allow herself to free fall for a short time before getting herself into flight.
Not using that much ki she barely kept her weighted form barely above that of a normal human’s level. Barely making it appear that she would be able to fly let alone be a threat to anyone. She would make her way to the location marked on her scouter and would fly over slipping through the trees to see a man doing some warm ups. Raising a brow as she moved to the Earth she would land with a thud.
“So you are the one I am to meet?” She spoke the knives on her form lightly moving and making a slight noise on the wind of her landing.

Cel'Daren had been waiting for some time, simply going through his warmup exercises for near on twenty minutes before his Scouter alerted him to an approaching Ki signature. It wasn't exactly strong, being barely above that of a non-ki using human fighter, and Cel'Daren himself hadn't caught it, but his Scouter was set to catch all approaching signatures. Technology was great!
After a few moments of realizing how his mission partner was reaching his location he had to admit that they were rather good themselves. Dropping in from orbit at terminal velocity. I like their style. Cel'Daren mused to himself. Once the woman had gotten close enough to the ground to be seen properly Cel'Daren had already identified her heritage by simply observing her appearance. White hair, red eyes, hardened eyes, typical Saiyan features that were softened somehow. The woman was obviously a Kagami and Saiyan Hybrid. Cel'Daren had met and conversed with two other Kagami, one a pureblood and another a hybrid, and they had both had the same kind of eyes as this woman. One seemed overly cautious and almost timid, while the other was full of racial hatred and rage, but they both had the eyes of people whose lives were full of trials. This woman to had those kind of eyes.
Were the lives of all Kagami a horror story? Were they all tortured by the Saiyan's enslavement of their people so? Questions for later, but not much later, I think.
As the woman would approach Cel'Daren would give his usual casual greeting, his right hand coming up into something between a wave and a salute, ”Yo. Name's Cel'Daren Mithanil. Pleasure to meet you. I didn't know there were any of those with Kagami blood in KAOS. Hope we can work well together.” and then he would place his right hand forward for a handshake, if she took it all the better, but if she didn't he wasn't perturbed by it.
”Basic info on me. I'm a Bio-Engineer, my combat ability stems from bioresearch, and I specialize in Ki based abilities rather than physical prowess. I can currently muster over fifteen thousand units of power at maximum. Apologies for having one of the KAOS come babysit me, I doubt the mission will be any challenge at all for either of us alone, let alone together.” With that Cel'Daren would begin checking over the mission parameters that he had just been sent by the BBA.
The mission was as follows: A group of antagonistic militants who did not agree with the Blue Banner Army having control of the planet's government had managed to amass a large number of military grade munitions and had placed them deep in the Bamboo Forest in an old forgotten military base. The amassed munitions were no real threat to the BBA, especially Vi Poi himself, but if they got the idea in their heads to unleash the munitions on a civilian target in an effort to blackmail the BBA it could lead to widespread casaulties. Operatives were to enter the facility, neutralize all threats, keeping as many alive as possible, and disposing of the munitions in a safe manner. The militants were ten to be handed over to the BBA for interrogation on potential allied cells.
Nodding to himself Cel'Daren placed the datapad he was looking at away, looking over to Aina, ”Seems fairly straightforward. I see lots of knives on your person; please tell me you're skilled in non-lethal takedowns.”

She would return the salute to Cel’Daren. Obviously her demeanor softened ever so slightly if she ever truly did soften up. “I am the only one that I know of that is part of the army. Earth is the only home I have ever known so I have served in its military as long as I have been able to. That and it sure as hell beats living on the streets.” Aina’s words were simple and yet not pointed at all as if she knew full well what it was that she was doing and speaking. Reaching forward she would return the handshake gesture.
She would listen to him explain out his story and she would nod toward him. The information would be good to know especially when she was a more up close and personal fighter. Her knives would be the things that would gladly slice apart and slash up the ones that got in her way. It was the way she did her work and once more it will have to do. “The mission should not be any more difficult than an average clean up op. So keep your head down if they start shooting and if you get a clear shot take it on them. Do not hesitate.”
Aina would speak her own response to the situation long before they would get there. To make things perfectly and easily clear for the both of them or at least she hoped it would. Pressing the button her own scouter would come over her eye as the mission details were being shared with her. “Seems lethal force is out of the question. Sadl because I would so much more prefer to just slice and dice them and be done with it but I got backups. So the shock sticks and tasers are in for the mission and using a few ki flashbangs on my infiltration if spotted. Otherwise I think a lot of them will run should we set off the munition depot in the bowels of their stronghold. Make it easier to take them out with hand to hand combat.”

Cel'Daren's interest was piqued as the Kagami stated that her childhood had been on Earth rather than Vegeta or another SSE controlled planet. What sort of strange events would lead to a Kagami child being left on Earth of all places? So many possibilities for that backstory, all hinted at by one little sentence. He was going to HAVE to invite this woman out for lunch so he could listen to her story; it had to be intriguing, no doubt. Unfortunately now was not really the time to be asking such questions, and Cel'Daren continued to listen as Aina counseled him on how to treat combat.
Giving a smile and a nod, Cel'Daren would hold up a hand, and several objects, some of them very heavy, would lift into the air under the effect of his Telekinesis ability, floating lazily through the air for a few moments as he spoke, ”Against normal humans I don't need to keep my head down. Jamming a rifle or sidearm's trigger mechanism is child's play to telekinesis. Even if they do fire, I'm confident in my ability to defend.”
Still smiling Cel'Daren would slowly take into the air, floating into the air as he lowered the objects he had telekinetically controlled back to their original resting places. Once he was twenty meters in the air he opened up his Scouter HUD by tapping against the air next to his right temple. A holographic map was eventually shown, marking the place the facility was to the best information that the BBA had to offer. It was supposedly an incredibly old facility, not used for literal centuries. That also meant that the data on its location was spotty at best, but they should be able to get close enough for their Ki Sense or Scouters to pick up the people there by going with those coordinates.
Taking off in the direction of the facility Cel'Daren would keep his flight low and slow, skimming the tops of the trees and keeping his speed low enough that conversation would still be possible instead of being whipped away by the wind. His posture would be relaxed and at ease, his flight position with him laying on his back with head faced forward, although often enough he simply seemed to fly with his eyes closed, thinking.
Cel'Daren's Scouter would alert him to Ki signatures in line with standard human levels, and he finally decided to share with Aina what he had been thinking of during their flight, ”I think we should be very careful in the facility if at all possible, Ms....uh, you never told me your name... Anyway, we should be careful. I used to work with a Weapon Engineer, and they told me that before we switched to using energy based weaponry we had things called Nuclear Bombs. Big and dirty explosives that were like purposefully setting off a critical meltdown at a Nuclear energy plant in order to blast everything with enough heat and radiation to level entire cities. Very Nasty.
“If this facility is that old, and they have such a bomb there, we need to be absolutely sure not to set it off. The fallout alone would ensure the death of this entire jungle, let alone anyone living in it...”

“Excellent to know that you are not unused to combat. They gave me a pure out of boot rookie a few missions back. Kid spent the entire time crying when the fighting began in earnest. Poor kid then transferred out of normal duty. I think they are a pencil pusher now inside one of the buerocratic branches. Though enough about that.” She would follow him up into the air as it seemed that the mission was about to begin. Taking a moment she said a silent prayer for herself and for her mother and then she would press the scouter button causing hers to come back to life and be ready. Following behind him toward the facility she began to feel faint traces of ki coming from in front of them. It would seem that their targets were ahead of them. That moment would be perfectly in line with the moment that Cel had turned and began to speak. Aina realizing just how stupid it was to not of introduced herself. “Call me Dove for the mission. We succeed and I will tell you my real name.”
Aina’s response would be curt and proper as it seemed the rather relaxed emeanor slipped away and a more stone face woman appeared to be forming inside the Kagami’s look and expression. As he mentioned the other types of weapons she nodded as she pointed to a small rock outcropping that overlooked the clearing in the forest up ahead. Moving herself quickly she would land in the clearing and move to kneel at the edge of the overlooking cliff. Pulling out a scope from her pocket she began to look around at the men gathere in front of them. “At least three out here… two more inside the entrance and at least five more in the subterranean area. Cant get a clear read with my Ki Sense any deeper though. Scouter cannot seem to penetrate either. Which means we could have an entire army beneath us and we would not even know.”
Her words were quiet as she put away the scope and looked at the above ground facility. It had the appearance of being run down but she made note of a pair of solar panels and the light hum of a generator. It seemed that they had already worked on fixing things internally. “It seems that this place is not as abandoned as we thought. Look on the roof of the long former barracks. They have two panels and a energy generator. So they have plenty of power to run a decent sized operation with just those.”
Glancing over to the left of the barracks was a garage. At least four cars could fit within it and it was attached to the one story barracks building by a singe hall way. An old metal fence surrounded the area and at two ends there where a pair of guard posts each with a single guy manning them. Partially hidden by the foliage of the forest she could make out what she thought was the armory behind the garage but she could not be certain. “Ok so no killing… Would be easier to do that but I understand the orders.”
As she spoke she pulled a pair of batons from her side pockets. “Ready to roll when you are.”

Dove. That was an amusing name. One that fit her physical description but one that was completely ill-fit towards the mentality and personality that the woman had displayed thus far. She was a trained professional combatant who apparently viewed a non-lethal takedown as a pain in the neck situation, rather she would like to instead be allowed a lethal takedown for simplicity. That certainly did not fit into the stereotypical view of the Dove, the so-called “Bird of Peace”. Still, it had Cel'Daren wondering, once again, about the Kagami people.
Were all Kagami naturally drawn towards conflict? The other two Kagami he had met before were scarred by it; conflict was in their past and in their future. The one male had been consumed by hatred and wanted to kill all Saiyans, the other female had been extremely cautious as if to avoid conflict yet had a powerlevel far above average as if to prepare for it. Now this Kagami went headlong towards conflict as a part of the BBA KAOS unit to put conflict down.
Cel'Daren was going to have to go to Planet Vegeta and inspect the rest of the Kagami himself, it was clear. Certainly not now however, not with his limited knowledge of the Kagami or with the conflict currently raging on Vegeta thanks to Vi Poi. Cel'Daren certainly wasn't going to Vegeta right now, he had to tell his Scouter to stop alerting him to Vi Poi's ki signature as well as what he could only assume was the Saiyan Queen's ki as well. Still, he wanted to learn a bit more about the Kagami, and while Dove apparently had been raised on Earth, she might perhaps have learned something of her home culture (Most Hybrids tended to be curious of their heritage, it was a natural inclination). Yes, Cel'Daren resolved to ask her some questions about her Kagami side once their main objective was clear.
When Dove had landed and taken up a spot for scouting out the facility, Cel'Daren would have followed her but stayed a few steps back in a kneeling position, letting the thick foliage cover his form. Dove talked about how the solar panels and generator she had spied, and Cel'Daren gave a quick retort, ”Yeah, it definitely looks like modern tech. But it really doesn't match the rest of the place. I bet they had to go through a lot of trouble to revamp the old power grid to get everything up and running...
“How patient are you? If you want to take things slow I could provide a distraction out here to let you slip in undetected, then we wait until they calm back down before hitting them from inside and out before they can muster a proper response.” Cel'Daren would move forward to kneel next to dove, and his hand would direct her attention to the base of the right-hand guard post. Should she look closer she would see that the base of the post was half-rusted through, and while it was still pretty stable, it'd be easy to think it could collapse at any moment by looking at it.
”I can collapse the guard post and make it look natural. You slip in one of the side entrances from the other side of the facility while they all barrel out to inspect the commotion. Sound good?”
Cel'Daren wasn't really the best when it came to tactics, having little experience with group combat. His preferred method would have been to just walk in the front door after telekinetically throwing the militants against their nearest solid surface. Like kicking a hornet's nest to see how strong the biggest hornet was, but he was in a group scenario against unknown forces. Group survival and mission success had to take a front seat to his own endless curiosity. So perhaps this would provide a good opportunity for Dove to make an infiltration to minimize the scale of conflict to the minimum.

“That could have been what drew our eye to this area. Buying the materials and everything else to repair a facility like this would of taken either a lot of monetary means or criminal means… These guys look almost like a mix of the two.” She spoke as she kept looking around attempting to see if she would find any other ways inside other than possibly jumping the fence. When he brought up how patient she was she smirked at him. She was actually very patient and had waited for days sometimes to complete a mission just to do it the way that it had been ordered to be completed. So today would be no different. Setting down the sticks she would pull one of her pen knives out and clear a small patch of the foliage out of the way to get some clear dirt. Scratching a quick map of the place in the dirt she would listen to his idea.
“So you want to create a diversion on this side.” Scratching a small X where she had placed the guard tower. “Hopefully pulling all of their eyes that way for long enough so that we can slip in through the fence over here?” She would make a triangle in the spot of infiltration just inside some of the heavier brush off to the far side of the area.
She would look at the plan and nod her head. “It will work if you can draw the attention of at least two of the five. As the guard in the tower just needs to be distracted but a second for one of these beauties to do its job on him.” She would pull a small object from her pocket that looked like a throwing star but with an obvious supped up battery on it. Its intention would be rather plain to see. “Since this is non-lethal I am happy I always pack a few of these things in here. Keeps me from having to accidentally use my knife. Yes this would work and work well as I can hit the guy in the tower with one of the taser stars and hopefully the tower when it falls knocks out the guy in it so we can get the jump on the guys remaining up top and have no unexpected visitors from below til we are ready to head in. You have my scouter frequency. When I am in position I will send you a chirp. Hit the tower and I will go.”
With his response she would move with the wind and behind trees toward the side of the base. Luckily avoiding any prying eyes. Moving into the heavy brush she pulled out a pair of clippers from her belt. Made from the same material as her mothers sword she made quick work of enough of the rusted chain link to allow her infiltration to go off without a hitch. A simple chirp would be heard inside of Cel’s scouter earpiece as she was now ready to go and get the operation underway.

”Don't worry, this is going to draw the attention of everyone in the base, I bet. Just make sure not to jump the gun and this'll be done in time for us to go for dinner. My treat?” Cel'Daren gave a crooked smile, finishing his last sentence in a question. He was asking Aina out on a date, obviously, but while the woman would probably think it had to do with standard man-woman relationship stuff, for Cel'Daren it was different. He wanted her life story in addition to whatever she knew of the Kagami, and figured getting her to go on a date would be a perfect situation for her to tell him it.
Whether or not Dove responded in the affirmative to his question he would hunker down and wait for the little chirp to sound from his Scouter, a tiny electronic signal sent to his brain directly, making him sense the sound of the chirp without it having made an actual noise. Technology was great, and with that little chirp heard Cel'Daren would give a response chirp in acknowledgment before he turned his attention to the rusted support beams of the guard post.
Now. Rust was actually a very simple thing. It was Iron Oxide. Simple iron that had been oxygenated into a far more brittle state than Steel was. It happened naturally, but slowly because of the fact that its creation also meant it created an airtight barrier of rust between the rest of the steel and the surrounding oxygen, preventing further decay. Yet the term “airtight” was a relative one, referring only to the ability of a given object's ability to resist the flow of air particles at a certain air pressure. Most humans used the term for objects that had an effective seal against air in Earth's relatively weak Atmospheric pressure of fourteen point seven PSI. Easy enough for rust to withstand, but how about ten times that? A hundred? A thousand?
Cel'Daren, from the cover of the thick foliage outside of the base itself, extended a single hand towards the guard tower's support beams and made a slow crushing motion. Unseen to the human eye the air pressure surrounding the metal was rapidly intensified to hundreds, no, thousands of times stronger than normal, the air particles squeezing tightly against the steel. The air particles and water vapor accompanying them were forced through the protective barrier of rust directly to the steel underneath, the oxygen molecules binding with the iron molecules almost instantly due to the intense pressure crushing them to the steel, and the process of rusting which normally took dozens of days or even weeks and months depending on the environment was instead done at a rate that was almost visible to the naked eye.
One minute, two minute, three, four. Four minutes passed in relative inactivity, but as the ticks of time started to close in on five minutes the sound of groaning metal would interrupt the peace of the facility. The guard post had merely shifted on its foundation, and the man atop hadn't even felt too much of a vibration. He dismissed it completely, he had felt the metal shift before. Eight. Nine. The clock was reaching ten minutes when finally Cel'Daren felt that he had managed to degrade the integrity of the steel posts enough for it to look natural for it to fail under say....a high gust of wind?
Exhaling a bit and mopping the sweat from his brow Cel'Daren turned his attention to the far West of the facility, his eyes on the sky. Getting an air current started was relatively easy, luckily enough, and it only took this action a single minute for definite changes to occur. The wind rose in speed and intensity, beginning to whip against the trees and the facility itself, and the eroded guard tower groaned slightly under the effects of the winds. The wind continued to pick up, Cel'Daren making it act as if a storm was beginning to brew, clouds beginning to darken the sky under his direction. It wasn't as if Cel'Daren was some weather god however. It was just moving a bunch of nearly weightless air particles in one direction and letting the gaseous state of air do the rest. Of course this was probably going to cause some horrible storm to the East, but the only thing to the East was more forest for several hundred miles.
The wind howling through the jungle now, and the facility militants nervous over the changing weather, it was the perfect time to start the distraction. A simple telekinetic wrench of the guard tower's rusted support and it twisted on it's legs with a horrible metallic groan, after that it was a simple matter of controlling the manner in which the guard tower fell so that the guardsman on top wasn't harmed in the fall. Instead Cel'Daren would cause the man to be pinned beneath the tower railing, his right leg broken (Cel'Daren didn't have enough control to prevent that much damage and even if he had it would have seemed suspicious for the guardsman to be completely unharmed). The heavy railing was far too heavy to be shifted with simple manpower, so even once his fellows could find a way through the wreckage towards him they'd have to get some metal cutting tools to get the railing off of him.
It was a distraction that appeared completely normal, but would draw the attention of everyone in the facility, definitely! His job done, Cel'Daren again wiped the sweat from his brow and gave a small message to Dove through the scouter, ”Distraction started. Apologies for delay.”
Now it was time for Dove to make her move to infiltrate the facility bowels to set up their two-pronged attack!

Her scouter would chirp back and she knew that Cel was moving into position. Catching his ki signature within the scouters range she would follow him along as she awaited his motion and perceived use of ki to mess with the metal leg of the tower. Waiting in position she would notice that time was passing as he did his thing. Yet she knew he was specifically trying to do something that would make it appear as if it was an accident or fatigue inside of the metal itself was the cause. The question that he had asked her just before they had broke the pre battle session did hang in the back of her mind and she would give him an answer as soon as this was over, but not before they had both survived the mission.
As the winds began to howl around her she made certain to hold her long white hair down as it would be a dead giveaway of her location should she have her hair lifted up into the air by the incoming storm. It was as the storm seemed to pick up in intensity and the wind moved just right that he twisted the metallic leg of the tower and she watched as it shuddered and began to fall. Grabbing the fencing she pulled it back and it twisted out of her way. Quickly she would crawl through the new opening. She would be visible for Cel for but a moment as she would flick her wrist and the small spinning device would impact the guy within the tower.
A shock would force him to collapse down onto the ground and as the guys who had come running toward their buddy turned to head back inside she would make her presence known by clearing a pile of boxes they were using and she would of caught the first man with a hurricanrana and spun him to the ground catching the second man with the foot of his buddy. Staggering him with the foot she punched the first man as she jumped up and kicked this one in the chest which sent him flying into the fence almost instantly knocking him out cold. Turning on her heel she would flip the second of her miniature taser bombs and watch as it impacted the last guy that had just been coming out of the building. Collapsing to the ground with the door still open behind him. Aina would smile at the quick takedown of the men and she would walk around securing the men before heading over to the metal that was pinning the man down. Pulling out her blade she would charge it with ki and like a hot knife through butter would cut the metal apart and pull the pieces off the man.
Reaching up as she finished securing the last man she would of spoke into the scouter microphone. “All clear Cel. Lets get moving and let HQ know that we will need EVAC in… I would say twenty minutes flight time. So we got that to get inside and clear out the rat’s nest inside.”

Dove's takedown of the people who were outside of the facility's main building was pretty flawless, quick and easy with no chance of repercussion by the soldiers. Very nice. Unfortunately it hadn't been what Cel'Daren had hoped would have happened. He had meant for Dove to head inside the facility to scout out the additional soldiers inside while the soldiers outside had been preoccupied with freeing the man trapped in the guard tower wreckage. No such luck, as she had decided to take out the soldiers instead.
Right. Dove's completely antithesis to her moniker; don't give her any command that involves avoiding hitting things. Cel'Daren would muse to himself as he slowly walked up to the fence surrounding the facility and hopped over it carefully, keeping his powerlevel suppressed. Casually strolling over towards the entrance to the facility he reached that point just as Dove was finishing up her securing of the militants. ”Eh. I was meaning for you to enter the facility secretly so we could surprise everyone inside the building as well, but this is fine I guess. Twenty minutes? I suppose we just go for the assault then. I'll take point. Place something explosive with a timer up on the generators, will you? Two minutes. We'll head deep inside, knock the lights out, and take out everyone and drag them all to the surface all at once.”
Cel'Daren's stroll would switch to a purposeful gait, his hands coming out of his pockets and swinging against his walking rhythm to help minimize the noise he made. He moved into the facility's front door, his labcoat swishing quietly as he rapidly moved down one hallway then the next, pausing at doorways and intersections to give him and his scouter enough time to adjust. The building was made of some kind of ki-reflecting substance, marking it as a post Red-Ribbon facility, after Earth had become aware of the power of Ki but not before the widespread use of it had started. The facility must have been a proto-type model against Ki users, reinforced and shielded from Ki Sensing, but not perfectly.
At least casual ki blasts wouldn't break the walls. Slipping down the corridors, watching the entrances carefully, Cel'Daren would lead Dove deeper into the facility, specifically avoiding any of the militants. His idea was to reach the “bottom” of the facility before striking a single militant, hopefully Dove would be willing to go along with that plan.
A few dozen corridors would rush by and they would enter the bunker, the most guarded point of the facility, the one meant to survive bombardment from aerial attack and also where the command center would be located. Cel'Daren would turn to Dove, motioning for a halt as he whispered, ”I sense six soldiers inside and one sentry bot, around four thousand units by my scouter. You want the bot or the soldiers?”
Once getting Dove's choice, Cel'Daren would slam open the doors, his arms already rising, a telekinetic wave prepared to slam six soldiers into the ceiling or crush the bot into a metal scrap ball, depending on the choice Dove had made...

She would smile at him as she had finished taking care of the last man. Through the scouter she would speak to him. “I find it easier to make certain that I cannot be pincered if I happen to get spotted once I get inside. That and the generator should be going down in a few.”
Reaching into her back pocket as she climbed up the wall using her blades as a bunch of hand and foot holds. Getting to the roof rather quickly after doing that she would walk over to the generator. Pressing the button on the side of her visor she would allow the analysis of the panels and cords to let her know which she could cut and disable the combination of equipment. Inhaling she drew one of the knives and spoke up once more. “We are going dark my friend.”
She would stop herself as she was about to cut the cord. Pulling a small charge of explosives she would mold it into a shaped charge that would shred the cords and not damage anything else. Grabbing the timer she set it up as he asked as she would drop in through a skylight. She would begin to work her way down through the abandoned barracks to meet him down near the entrance. Following him along she would stick close covering his back using her sticks should they run across anyone. Yet it seemed they where using the upper layers as empty disorientation for opponents.
As they reached the bunker and Cel stopped she would stop behind him. When he spoke about the people inside she would take the moment to do exactly what he had. Focusing her ki sight she would feel the people and a rather easy to read robot. Smirking she would whisper back to him. “I will take the robot. As I will get the memory core from the bot so that we can have our techs examine it.”
Pulling out her ki knife she would ready the blade with ki beginning to charge it. The moment that the door was slammed open she moved fast and sliced the robots leg at the joint in but an instant. Slicing through the metal she would kick the robot into a wall and dive into it with her knife slicing out the power supply for the android in an instant.
{{Apologies for the wait Cel. Was gone for the last three days just got back to computer today.}}

Dove had taken down her mechanical enemy with meritorious efficiency, and Cel'Daren found that he had no trouble in slamming all six of the soldiers up into the ceiling of the room with little trouble, some striking head first and some with their back, but all were hurting from the experience. Settling them back down to the ground Cel'Daren would finish them off with a quick boot to the head. Their own boots, specifically. He didn't want to damage his shoes; they were made for dress occasions not stomping heads!
Dusting his hands, Cel'Daren would move over to one of the computer consoles the militants had been using and sat down in the chair near it, getting a look at what they were working on. During this he decided to chat up with Dove as well, ”Alright. Six soldiers sensibly silenced, and one robo wrecked right. Data on the terminal isn't all that exciting; pretty much exactly what the BBA already knew, apparently. Manifesto. Manifesto. Hate-filled ramblings. Manifesto. Ooh, a list of current BBA operatives under surveillance! You are so copied right now.”
Humming to himself as he copied the important bits of data to a datapad Cel'Daren would be interrupted by the power promptly shutting off; Dove's explosive charge having been detonated and cutting the generators off from the facility electronics. Emergency power would flick on, those handy little red lights bathing the entire room in crimson. ”Oh right. The charge. Ah well I'm sure the cleanup crew can handle the rest, I got the interesting bits, anyway.
“Hey, Dove. This mission's pretty clean according to the info I just snagged. Most of the munitions here aren't a real threat; there's nothing large scale anyway. Once we evac all the militants we can safely remove the facility from existence without worrying about blowing the forest to an irradiated doom-filled future. I've got a good technique to do it to, so lemme be the one to wreck the place, right?” Cel'Daren would stow his datapad away and get up from his chair, the dark red light of the room putting disturbing shadows across his face, the smile he had in place appearing almost manic from the lighting.
Moving out Cel'Daren would use his telekinesis to grab the unconscious militants, pulling them along behind him like a line of ghostly apparitions. He'd stop for a moment and turn to look at Dove once more, ”Oh by the way the Ki shielding here was based on receiving a constant charge. Now that the power is out I bet you can sense the rest of the soldiers down here. You want the honor, or should I?” He was obviously referring to the task of subduing the rest of the soldiers, which may or may not be fun depending on one's view, and so he had asked Dove her prerogative.

She turned her head as she heard Cel slapping his hands against one another. It seemed that he was also done with the soldiers. It made her smile as she always did enjoy being around someone who was efficient and ruthless in a mission. As he moved toward a console she would go and use some zip ties on the soldiers. Standing back up from the sizth soldier she listened to him go off a mental checklist. “That one works. I never would of figured that they would have a list of operatives under surveillance…. Guess we will need to up security and remind others about watching their backs.”
Her words also stopped with the very light pop that was heard and the electricity went down within the facility. The crimson light going off her face giving her a more sinister look as it almost looked as if she was bathed inside of blood when this light hit her hair and facial look. “Do not forget about the robot’s mind. I would say to check that to see if it uploaded things into its memory. I figure that they would do something as it was the only bot in the whole place.”
Speaking softly she would toss aside the robot’s head and it would land beside Cel. Hopefully he knew what to do to search through the robot’s hard drives. Though as he got up and picked up the soldiers she would grab the head and toss it back into her pack. When he spoke about sensing the others within the base she nodded. Closing her eyes she would focus her senses and began to sense around. “I sense nothing farther down. Maybe a few rats but that’s it. Seems we got everyone around here.”
Smiling as she opened her eyes and made certain that those at the back of the lifted group did not get injured as they would make their way back up to the surface. ”As for nuking this place I am fine with you blasting it apart. “

It seemed there was little to do after that point. The number of militants in the base was laughably low; suspiciously so. Yet there was no self-destruct alarm going off, or sudden influx of reinforcements. The entire militant group seemed more like a group of college frat guys on a drunken theft spree rather than an anti-BBA syndicate trying to undermine the Premier's authority on Earth. If this was considered a test of Cel'Daren's competence he was not impressed. Even on his own this mission was a cakewalk; it didn't get anywhere near difficult enough to cause Cel'Daren to display the power he had.
Cel'Daren was going to show off his power for the BBA folks back in the office just the same! Moving back up to the surface with Dove he was already calculating where he should make his strike on the facility, a small holo-map brought up by his scouter, noting the detectable size of the facility. It cast a pale blue glow that clashed against the deep red of the emergency lighting, but Cel'Daren didn't seem to have any trouble navigating thanks to said map. Once the group was up on the open center of the facility, outside of the buildings, Cel'Daren would open a channel on his scouter and begin a communication with anyone who cared to listen, ”Be advised. A Gravitic Detonation is going to occur within the confines of the Bamboo Forest in T-minus ten minutes and counting. All GraviPulse based devices should be powered down during this time to prevent possible malfunction and injury. BBA Access Code Seven-Seven-Four-Alpha-Hector. Repeat. Be advised, a Gravitic Detonation is..” Having recorded the message Cel'Daren would set his scouter to repeat the message continuously while updating the time as appropriate
With that done Cel'Daren would take to the air, bringing along all of the unconscious and detained soldiers with his telekinesis, his powerlevel beginning to rise with the strain of pulling along so much mass at once, eventually reaching seven thousand units. The militants were all deposited well outside the limits of the facility, and Cel'Daren would turn to Tulip, ”We've got, what, fifteen more minutes until the recovery team gets here? That's plenty of time. Have a look at this. I'm rather proud of this technique I came up with. I call it...
“Singularity.” Cel'Daren called out the name of his attack as he placed his left hand in front of him, palm up and fingers slightly splayed. Dove would get to see the first ever public use of this technique, and he wanted to see what her reaction to it might be. He concentrated, his energy becoming focused into the palm of his hand, rising up into the air above it. But it wasn't a silver ki ball with orange specks, it was a purple black orb with tiny motes of black lightning sparking across its surface occasionally. It began incredibly tiny, too small to be seen, but as it grew so did the sense of....heaviness. The little black ball of ki seemed to weigh far more than it should, and as it reached roughly the size of a baseball Dove would be able to feel a minute change in the gravity affecting her; her sense of direction saying that “down” was shifting, moving away from the Earth's core and towards the little ball in Cel'Daren's hand.
”...detonation is going to occur withing the confines of the Bamboo Forest in T-minus twenty-seconds...
“...ten seconds...
“..three...two...one.” The timer reached zero, and Cel'Daren would make sure that the facility was clear before raising his hand a little higher, close to his face, and simply huffed a breath at the little ball of Ki, blowing it out of his hand and over into the facility. It would move lazily through the air for a few moments before eventually floating down to the surface of the facility ground level floor, directly in the center of the facility.
A sudden noise like thunder would fill the air for a tiny moment as the tiny black and purple ball would expand hundreds of times its original size, swelling large enough to completely engulf the entire facility at once! It stayed that large for just a single moment, letting Cel'Daren and Dove get a good look at its dark splendour, before it would vanish, compressing itself into a mere dot of black in an instant, but it did not do so alone. For when the ball compressed it took the entire facility with it, crushing the entire compound with it. Essentially one moment there would be an entire military base present, and a few moments later it would be completely gone, a great crater dug into the ground. A small basket-ball sized lump of black material would be left at the bottom of the crater, the ground seeming to struggle from preventing it from falling further, a smaller crater having been dug into it.
This momentous situation would be interrupted by Mithanil starting to clap a few times, ”Yes! That worked perfectly. I believe I should be able to use that in combat from now on, it's easier to charge than I had thought it was going to be. Yes, very pleased with this. Dove, what did you think?”
[OOC: Yay I got to post!
Technique/s used:
Technique Name: Singularity Technique Type: Attack (Ranged Orb) Technique Tier: N1 Technique Description: A black orb is created near one of Mithanil's hands, emitting a strange purple light. This orb is then physically or telekinetically thrown at a target, and the orb attempts to crush the target into a speck of matter, dealing 33/66/100% of Mithanil's current PL per turn charged based on tier used. Any creature slain or object damaged by this ability is crushed into a speck of superdense material. ]
