Taiga is unsure whether or not the battle is still raging; at this distance, even the rumbling had stopped. The Arcosian General lands some ways away from his flagship, The Tyrannical, a smirk still visible on his face. He had just learned an important lesson; he doesn't need authority to get what he needs. Through chiding and dancing around certain subjects, Taiga had controlled and maneuvered Koldar's emotions and resolve. Through mere suggestion and verbal prodding, Koldar had given Taiga the excuse he needs to return to Kanassa.
Retaking Kanassa is only a bonus; what Taiga is after is far more interesting. At least, it is to him. Taiga clasps his hands behind his back as he walks casually towards his ship. With the ship this far away from the general populace, there is no need to worry about soldiers or civilians. However, Koldar did tell him to bring the recruits; although bringing both of them may be unnecessary. The Arcosian General boards his massive starship, and makes his way, alone, to the equipment room. He had made sure to restore his stock of battle armor, as well as personal scouters. After pulling the battle armor on, and affixing his scouter to the left side of his face, Taiga presses the communication button.
"This is General Taiga to the recruitment center." Taiga speaks calmly. "Find the Cadet, Glaze, and send him to my coordinates. Inform him he has been selected for a miltary operation." |

Glaze's eyes were closed and weight distributed evenly across the smooth platform. The room was pitch black, only flickers of light making it through the blinds to signify the time of day. He was in deep meditation, a reddish aura radiating off his body. His position was an abandoned building in the center of town, he had the option of using the training facility given when he joined the empire. But he preferred training in private, wanting to avoid being seen actually putting an effort into something. His meditation was disturbed when the sound of his scouter going off in the far distance. Resting against the wall, he wanted to separate himself from technology. The aura disappeared and his eyes opened abruptly, he came to a raise and walked over. A slight look of disgust on his face as he went to pick it up, pressing on his face as he pressed the button on the side slightly. " Yes?" The voice on the other end sounded very high maintenance, almost like a leader or something. He could tell the person on the other line was either a part of the empire or someone with military background. " This is Glaze? What is it?" " Ah Cadet Glaze glad we were able to reach you. You are requested to meet up with Commander Taiga Immediately, you were assigned to be a part of the Military Operation." He raised a bow. " Hmm? Tell him I will be there shortly." " Splendid. We will give you the coordinates now." You could hear the sound of idle tapping going across on the screen. Words began to print themselves on Glaze's scouter lens, along with with a small projection that showed his current position to the one he needed to. Glaze pressed the button once more to end the call. Walking over to the nearest window in the dark room, stepping on the window pane and shot forward. Dropping for a bit before lifting off into the sky. Shooting in Taiga's direction, following the coordinates down to the T. He saw a ship in the far distance slowly come into view, sensing a familar energy in the far distance. It was Commander Taiga. It was pretty far off from civilization, made him wonder what type of mission was this exactly. He would land not too far from Taiga and the ship.

Taiga had been waiting patiently outside The Tyrannical for Glaze to arrive. Upon seeing the younger Arcosian flying in, Taiga grinned. When Glaze lands, Taiga would wait for the recruit to approach.
"Welcome, Cadet Glaze. I wont mince words, this is going to be an important mission." Taiga begins, raising one hand to accent his words. "The two of us will be heading for the planet Kanassa. During the first Saiyan incursion, I led the forces there. Unfortunately, I was only half as powerful as I am now, and I faced two very powerful beings. An android shapeshifter, and a Super Saiyan. They obliterated our troops, and defeated me without much effort. Kanassa was lost to us that day."
Taiga's posture straightens.
"However, for some reason, the Saiyans abandoned Kanassa after their conquest of it. When I returned there, I found that the population, civilians and military alike, had been annihilated." Taiga explains, his eyes narrowing. "The damage was inconsistent with how Saiyans battle, meaning that they were not responsible. Since that time, Kanassa has become a hub for pirates and smugglers. Our mission is to retake Kanassa. Our secondary mission is to investigate the planet, and see what we can make of the population's annihilation. I have selected you for this mission because I feel that you are intellectually capable."
Taiga's smile becomes cruel.
"Koldar seems to think taking prisoners, and registering visitors from the Saiyan Solar Empire, is a good idea. As the General, I disagree. Particularly in this situation." he continues. "We are not taking prisoners. If we encounter pirates, we will kill them. If we encounter Saiyan spies, we kill them. We have given the universe an image of weakness, one that they now take full advantage of. This must end; so if slaughtering pirate scum is a step in that direction, then so be it. You are to kill any pirate or smuggler you encounter. Understood?"

Upon approach, he could see that Taiga wasted no time in getting to the point. It seemed being told that this was a Military Operation was true. He would nod as he saw Taiga. "Commander Taiga." Who would also return a greeting. Glaze crossed his arms, while Taiga began to tell what exactly this whole "Military Operation was about". Hearing of a planet that he was not too familiar with, but it was definitely not unknown. It was quite interesting at that, but he was just satisfied that he was chosen to be picked for a such a task.
However hearing that there were beings capable of defeating Taiga worried him, but hearing that there was two of them made him think he was possibly outnumbered, and that it was the factor as to why Taiga was defeated. "Hmm.." Nodding as the conversation went on, he was quickly getting a full understanding of the task at hand. "A planetary takeover." He thought to himself, it would definitely be interesting at the change of scenery, also having the chance to experience a real life or death fight. To test his limits, was just as good.
One he saw that Taiga was done giving the mission brief, Glaze would take the time to add questions of his own at the end of the mix. To clear all chances of confusion. "What about those who pledge their allegiance to the Empire. Shall they suffer the same fate as the others? Or be granted Mercy and be allowed to live?" His eyes looked around as he waited for that question to be answered.
"Also is it just the two of us for this mission?" He questioned, looking at how things are now he was unsure of how massive the planet actually was. Something he could look up, but the thought of just the two of them taking over a whole planet seemed like a very serious task. Either this would be something simple, or maybe Taiga had more faith in Glaze's ability than he thought.

Taiga's smile remains as Glaze poses questions about the mission.
"They may choose to appeal to us, if they so wish. But they are pirates, in the end." Taiga replies evenly. "Their loyalty is ultimately to themselves alone; they'd shove a blade between their fellows' shoulder blades if it benefited them. I imagine that any pleas for mercy and requests to serve the Arcosian Empire will be hollow."
Taiga's smile fades, and his head tilts to the left slightly.
"Although, I suppose that we can make those calls if the situation presents itself." the Arcosian General allows. "I would prefer to just kill them and be done with it, but if there are any who surrender to you, you have my permission to make your own decision."
Taiga turns away from Glaze, and motions for the Cadet to follow after him onto the ship.
"The two of us will do." Taiga informs Glaze confidently as he walks towards the ship, and suddenly floats skywards. Rather than a ramp to walk up, the entrance is a circular hatch on top of the ship. The hatch is located at the center, and is enormous; clearly designed to release dozens of soldiers at a time. "Normally, such an operation would merit the use of a full platoon, perhaps a regiment, depending on the expected resistance. However, our forces are spread thin, so we will not be given assistance. Our success depends on our capabilities alone. I am also quite familiar with the planet; things should go relatively smoothly as long as we do not encounter soldiers from the Saiyan Solar Empire."
Taiga takes out a very thin device, and presses a switch; there is a hissing sound as the doors slide open. They stop, however, only opening far enough for Taiga and Glaze to enter comfortably. Taiga drops through the way, and will shut the doors after Glaze follows him into the ship.

Glaze nodded once more, now that all the questions were established. He didn't have a lot of material possession beside his weights and his scouter, so needing to pack wasn't necessary. "Understandable." It seemed Taiga was playing the safest part in assuming everyone to be an enemy. With these inhabitants of the planets being pirates, there's no telling whether or not their word could be trustworthy. Simply killing them off without question would save the possibly of betrail. Regaining control of the planet and establishing fear are the two prime objectives, along with finding out what really happened to the inhabitants of the planet previously.
He was gazing off towards the direction of the town, before looking back towards Taiga who motioned towards him. Trailing behind him, they flew up towards the platform which led to the entrance of the ship. "So it will be just the two of us." Pondering this thought, he was sure there were expectations for him to reach, and he planned on doing so to the fullest state whether or not it was in his ability to do so.
Taiga giving a slight motivation statement that they will be enough to accomplish this task, even though their numbers were limited. Causing Glaze to nod once more. "Right." Stating as he saw Taiga pull out a tiny switch and flip it, opening the door only slightly but big enough for them to fit through. Upon entering Glaze's eyes widened a bit, taking a big glance at this surroundings. This being the first time he ever truly entered a ship such as this.

If the outside of Taiga's flagship was any indication of the vessel's great size, the interior certainly adds to that. The halls are curved and wide, allowing for the hurried activities of The Tyrannical's crew. More than a dozen sentient species can be accounted for among the crew, but it would become apparent that virtually none of them were combat capable. As Taiga leads Glaze to the forward command bridge, the crew would stop and offer their salutes.
The two pass a room that has its door wide open; within the room appears to be a small team of scientists looking over what appears to be a mechanical skull as they run tests on the object. Finally, the two will reach the bridge. The tall doors slide open, permitting the two to enter. Unlike the rest of the ship, the bridge is fairly empty, save for a single seat located at the room's center. A few computers line the walls, and what appears to be a steering yoke is situated only a meter to the left of the apparent command chair. Only three beings stand in this room; two Brenchian's occupying the computers, and a squat, purple being with an ovular shaped head and bulbous eyes patiently going through the ship's startup procedures.
Immediately, one of the Brenchian's, a red-skinned female, turns and walks over to Taiga and Glaze, saluting before speaking.
"General Taiga, we have news from the planet Yardrat!" the Brenchian announced, Taiga follows the woman over to her computer, and listens as she plays the message. It was precisely what he thought it would be; confirmation of Somatotrope's death from the Saiyan incursion there.
"Thank you, but I am already aware of Yardrat's situation." Taiga tells the Brenchian, his tone flat. "We've lost on multiple fronts, and tens of thousands have died in the fighting already. But it is not relevant to our mission."
These words surprise the Brenchian, but she says nothing as Taiga walks away from her.
"Our mission is to retake the planet Kanassa." Taiga announces, standing a few feet in front of the command chair. "Helmsman, set a course for Planet Freeza 79, Kanassa, and make it fast."
The squat alien wordlessly complies, and hammers away through the sequences. From within the ship, all that can be heard is a soft humming as the ship's engines growl to life. The artificial anti-gravity prevents those on board from experiencing the quick ascent, but the clouds racing downwards outside the huge forward viewport would indicate how fast the vessel truly is. The many dagger-like landing legs retract into the ship's underside as The Tyrannical rockets through and beyond Arcose's atmosphere. Taiga turns to Glaze.
"Cadet, the trip will take one full day to reach Kanassa." Taiga informs his kinsmen. "If you wish, the mess hall is down one floor and three doors on your left. The elevator is connected to the central hub just outside this room. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask them. Otherwise, you may either rest, or prepare for the assault however you see fit."
This is my exit post! Taiga and Glaze are heading for Kanassa on board the Royal-class Starship, The Tyrannical! Our arrival is set to be 3:00pm Tomorrow! (Or, that's what time it will be for me here on the East Coast of the US.) Glaze(Logic) Your go! I'll be taking PL for this thread with the 20% Bonus for Suppressed Form.

It was defiantely a sight to behold, the large interior of the ship made his tiny portal pod look like a tiny closet. Defiantely was a good change in pace. Looking at rooms filled with several different species, each of them in particular didn't look equipt to fight. "I guess what Taiga said about our numbers being limited. He wasn't lying." Eyes squinting as they came upon what he assumed to be the command bridge, a slight hint of surprise as everyone stopped what they were doing to turn their attention towards them. Standing up and saluting. Glaze had to admit being on the other end of the salutes was defiantely a different feeling, but he guessed it was primarily due to Taiga and not him.
As Taiga continued walking so did he, passing by several more rooms contained with scientists and current expeirments. One standing out was one large metallic skull. Finally they reached the bridge, Glaze's arms handing down his sides. Computers everywhere you looked. It was almost surprising that all of this could fit on a ship. It defiantely looked smaller on the outside. Approaching three beings, one came and approached Taiga. But with Glaze being a few steps away, it made it a bit difficult to hear.
Trailing words did however manage to leak out, something about Planet Yardrat and Somatotrope's death. Flashing back to the large joyful bug he met a long time ago outside of a bar fight. Him and the good doctor. "Can't be.." He looked over towards Taiga, who by his expressions, show that he wasn't surprised in the latest or even effected by the news. Even brushing it off by stating that it wasn't involving their mission so it was of no importance to him. Somastrope was defiantely a good ally to have, to think that they were facing beings that killed him off. One weird thing however was the fact that there was no report on the Good Doctors death. "Dr.Daria.." Mind flashing back to the red woman in scientist clothing.
"I'm sure you did the best of your ability Soma." Closing his eyes for a brief moment in honor of his silence, opening them abruptly to hear that Taiga was now addressing the conversation towards him. "One day trip." He nodded towards Taiga. "I'll find an area to get my thoughts together." Motioning over towards the way they came, moving towards an open room on his own he would gaze out the window. If checked on, from time to time he would be seen meditating, getting his thoughts together and his mentality. He had a strange feeling about this mission, that this would change his outlook for better or worse.
