Gira giggled and high-fived the demon guy. It seemed that he wanted to be what he called "same age buddies." Gira liked making new friends. Especially ones that weren't... normal. "Sure. We can be same age buddies." Come to think of it, she made friends with a lot of strange characters. Arcosians, Majins, half-Saiyans like her... even demons. If Mammon could be counted as a friend. Come to think of it, Gira wasn't sure if she'd count him as a friend. He seemed nice enough before they fought in the tournament. But during that battle... he just seemed to delight too much in causing pain.
Gira was happy that this guy was nicer than him. She turned next to Matt as he explained his limited experience in ki control. Based on what he was saying, it seemed that he could sense energy. That was interesting. So he at least had some degree of skill. That would make teaching him a lot easier. She made a mental note to remember to teach him some time as Matt mentioned that Gira felt about as imposing as his family. That made her remember that she suppressed her energy so that she felt like a normal person. "Oh, this isn't even close to my full power. Maybe..." The teen thought for a moment. "One tenth of one percent? I can go higher. I can teach you how to do that too."
At that, Gira closed her eyes and let out an exhale. A gentle breeze made the grass sway as she raised her power as high as she could with her weights on. Gira opened her eyes and smiled. "There. That's about twenty-five percent of my full power to give you an idea. Without these weighted training clothes, I could go even higher than this." She tugged at the collar of her shirt. "Even on my days off, i'm looking to get stronger." She grinned. Indeed, Gira took every opportunity to get more and more powerful. She had a promise to keep to a certain someone. She promised this person that they would rise to the top together. She couldn't be slacking now.
When Matt mentioned that he didn't want to fight just yet, Gira waved him off. "Don't worry. We can work up to it at your own pace. There's a lot you can learn that doesn't involve throwing a single punch!"

Nabel made a whooshing sound, as Gira completed the high five circuit. Reenergized by this display of friendship, as he had now confirmed their friendship, the boy pointed finger guns at the both of them. It seemed like he had sobered up a fair bit since crash-landing. He also remembered bits and pieces of what had happened on the way to the forest. (It turns that he actually had spent time with a trash-talking unicorn, though it was holding, not prison. Said Zoanthorpe had been nice enough to buy the boy Jaegers.) "Yeah! Same age budddies!" He giggled as the words flew out of his mouth. Literally. The ki from his system flowed out in the form of that sentence, dissipating harmlessly upon hitting a bamboo tree.
"Welll..." The boy blinked immediately afterwards, more than a little confused by how he had done that. "That's new." He shrugged, taking it as a sign of growth in his quest to become a master of ki control. Right now, he was more interested in what the girl had just divulged. With that, he continued to beam brightly. Thankfully, no weak blasts of energy exited his mouth this time. In its place was some enthusiastic blubbering.
"Nice! I wear weighted gear too." The boy nodded, as he flipped the hems of his raggedy cloak a little. They made creaking noises, as though there were heavy gears buried beneath the fabric. Whatever it was, the article of clothing was definitely weighted. Though perhaps not in the healthiest of ways. "So if that's a quarter of your power, we're at around the same level Gira." Nabel pointed out, looking at his newfound friend with hope spelled out on his face. Oh boy.
"We should spar sometime!" The demon nodded, giving the girl a taste of the twitching puppy dog eye. It was actually kind of cute, in a grotesque, monstrous sort of way. So it might not have appealed to everyone. Still, he didn't stick on that subject for long as his mind bounced around from one topic to the next. "And hey, she's right. Though I can help ya out too sometime, Matt." He winked at the older boy. Though given that his other eye was stitched shut, it might as well have been a blink. "You can do all sorts of non-punch-y things with your ki." The boy exclaimed, as he hovered from one side of Gira to the other.
"You can fly! And blow things up with your mind." noted, as he turned towards a bamboo shoot, and put his finger to his skull. Oh boy. "Check it!" The teen exclaimed, as he let some clear, colorless ki flow out of his body and into the air. Instead of blowing up the tree, however, something else happened.
A flat, glowing circle formed on the tree, perhaps a rip in space and time, and stuck by for several seconds. Out of the aether came a disembodied forearm, which crawled around on its fingers as though they were its many legs. The thing circled the tree for several moments, before returning towards its spawn point, disappearing into nothingness.
Even Nabel was a little slack-jawed at this. "I don't know what we just saw." He admitted with a confused pout. Was this another evolution to his ki control? Because if it was, he didn't have a lot of control over it. "That is also new." He shrugged. "I mean, unless that's another function of The Poltergeist." OOC Notes: Added in some dev that I was building up in other threads owo Might have gone overboard here though, but I hope that it's fun

Mattenes watched thier high five. He found it somewhat familiar. ...Do you like onions...? Yeah! I kiiiinda do He chuckles a bit, feeling a little better all over again. He even watched him spit the words out of his mouth. again. Literally. He was kinda shocked, but there was a bit of wonder. it wasnt as scary as Kaito's- actually it looked really entertaining. "Woah, that's kinda cool" he admitted. And with that pretty much came his second group of friends. He felt a bit proud in that. and more than a bit relieved. He put his left hand in his pocket and felt the piece of candy the one girl gave him on the first day he was here. Maybe things aren't so black and white.
However with the information she gave him he blocked "wait, really?" He asked. A little concerned. When she raised her power level, he jumped a bit "WOAH" he fell to his butt again, goodness- Mattenes had a butt magnet for the earth. Though he was a bit shaken up by the sudden change "How did you do that???" He asks. He got up, slowly. He looked to her clothing, curious about how much those could weigh. Though he knew nothing about how humans made clothing. So- fair enough.
Matt looked to the two, and felt a bit more comfortable knowing that ki training didnt hop into 'pUNCH THIS PERSON DO IT DO IT DO IT' He nodded "you know. Yeah. Yeah I wanna learn how to fly and the stuff you can do without fighting. for now at least" He says, though when Nabel got excited, he got nervous, knowing something was gonna happen. And sure as shit. Disembodied arm. And cue Mattenes getting v e r y squeamish, and upset. He took a second to go behind a tree. The wet noises could signify what happened. He did the Vom. he wiped his mouth and walked back "w hy" He simply said. "why an arm" he layed down on the ground, trying to settle his stomach.

Gira chuckled at Matt's response to her raising her power. It probably did feel a little overwhelming. She remembered the first time she met her friend, Tulip. Her raising her power from all most nothing to the level of a Super Saiyan overloaded her senses. When asked how she did it, Gira shrugged. "It's a little advanced, but not too hard. You just feel that warmth in your belly and... grow it. Like adding wood to a fire. To lower it, you just do the opposite." She chuckled nervously. "I feel like I didn't explain that very well." Then came something surprising. As Nabel celebrated their newfound friendship, the words he spoke literally came out of his mouth.
Gira blinked in surprise as she watched the words float by her and dissipate upon hitting the bamboo thicket. "That's... I can't say i've seen that before." Gira hardly had enough time to process that when Nabel decided to give Matt a demonstration on what you could do with ki. To Gira's shock, he summoned a disembodied arm. It made Gira more than a little squeamish, but she managed to hold onto her lunch. The other Saiyan wasn't as lucky it seemed. Gira felt sorry for the guy. She had seen some things that helped her grow a stronger stomach, but it seemed Matt hadn't had the experiences she did.
Gira looked over at Nabel as Matt lied down to settled his stomach. "I don't think he liked your trick very much." She chuckled nervously.

Nabel jittered tearfully, flustered regret spelled out on his young face. For a moment, his biological age seemed to overtake his physical deformities, as his face scrunched up into the tiniest of pouts. Human mouths did not look like that, but kitty mouths did when they were closed. (Demons are weird, man.) And if Nabel was a kitty, then now he was a worried and confused kitty. "I don't know why- I didn't mean to." He spoke in a panicked tone, sounding increasingly distressed as his hopping gives way for quiet stillness. If the actual age gap between him and sincere regret in his tone, as his two newfound friends' uneasy reactions scratched a mark into his already addled psyche. Did he mess things up? Would they not like him anymore? "I'm sorry- I'm really, really sorry." The boy whimpered, freezing from the fear welling up within his gut. He just wanted to help calm Mattenes' nerves, and potentially build up the bonds between the three of them, just like Chuck told him he could. Maybe the Konatsian had it all wrong. Perhaps the lad really was every bit as freakish and monstrous as his old bullies made him out to be. And no matter how much he strayed away from the supernatural, in an effort to change himself for the better, the demon's character would always play second fiddle to his true nature. He was an amalgamation of humanity's evils, what right had he to try making friends? With that troubling train of thought running wild across his mind, Nabel took a tentative step backwards, all of the energy seemingly torn away from his system. "I just wanted to blow up the tree..." He muttered, twiddling a single thumb against the air. Even in the absence of his other arm, that gesture still remained. And it was a clear indication of his currently concerned condition. And as his mind ran amuck with long-buried memories, the boy could only back off further in fear, his downright demonic ki engulfing his figure. A sickening sort of taint drifted through the space around the boy, as tears began to streak down one side of his face, and purple ooze poured out of the other. That was a massive mood whiplash, given how nonchalant he had been earlier. And it also happened to be a huge boost to power level, as the only thing that kept the boy calm was the flask not touching his lips. The stench of alcohol and corruption filled the air, as he nervously gulped down the rest of his drink, booze hitting the grassy earth like spilt milk. "I'm sorry- I'll be good- I promise I'll be good." Nabel looked like he was just about ready to dash away from the scene, and flee towards the city. Matt stuck his tongue out disdainfully "eugh I hate puking" Though with Nabel's sudden shift to panic, Matt's blood went ice cold. That look of panic. That was the look he had at Kaito, that was the look they had of- No, nonono. He got up, though he stumbled a bit to his feet. He did a light run over to Nabel, holding out his hands peacefully "Nono! It's ok, I just never saw a-" He felt something hitch in his throat as he felt like he needed to gag from the thought again. And with the taint encroaching, he coughed to the side, throwing aside the need to gag and moving closer.
Though with the sudden burst of energy near quadrupled, his body sunk like a rock. He was paralyzed. The feel of the energy. His mind flooded with fears of the high energy, and worries of Nabel. My body wont move, im way too scared! This is scary, this is way too scary! He wanted to let Gira handle this, she wasnt scared of high power like he was he'd assumed. We just didnt want to tell you, we were worried that you'd resent us
and like that. Just like that the spark came in, in his gut. it started out like a candle. then started to grow larger and larger in his gut. It hurt, he didnt like it. But his body began to move dispite his fear, and he reached Nabel. He put his hands on the other's shoulders and looked to him "dont be worried, it's ok. We're still your friends" He said, the words he'd wished he'd heard from the elders when he'd asked about that burning feeling in his gut.
They worried. And it worried him. It was easy to forget how much Pacifism revolves around avoiding conflict. Even if it's an argument.
"If you relax and stay I promise you'll be the first person I spar with if I abandon my pacifism" He openly stated. He didnt even know why he said that. Sure, Nabel liked to spar, and he had strong feelings that seem to excite and make him joyful. but how did he go from avoiding it at all costs, to assuring someone they'd be the first sparing partner? Was this because he was on earth? He sure as hell wouldnt have thrown his self restraint to the side back on his planet.
The fire in his gut that had become a roaring flame died out however. his hands left the others shoulders as he went stiff again. Just hoping his new friend could calm down.

Nabel seemed more than a little upset at Matt's reaction. Clearly, what had happened struck a nerve with the demon. He seemed on the verge of tears. Then, Gira felt that pit in her stomach return and Nabel's power grow. Now, it was almost equal to her full power! She wasn't sure what was going on, but she hoped she wouldn't have to fight the demon. They had just become friends. She didn't want to fight a friend. Not like this. He didn't seem hostile, just upset. Thankfully, Matt approached the demon and gave him a few words of encouragement.
Gira decided to join in and help him out. "Yeah! Of course we're still your friends. So don't go, we all need to fight together some time! We can't do that if you leave and we can't find you!" Gira tried her best to help Matt calm the demon down. She could only hope that it worked. At the stench of booze filling the air, Gira nearly gagged. After that night, she could hardly stand the smell of the stuff. Now it permeated the air around them. She remained calm, however. Mostly for Nabel's sake.

Nabel's entire body shivered from shock, as the older boy gingerly placed a hand onto his shoulders, reassuring the younger lad of their friendship. The demon stiffened up for several moments, as though the rising tension within his guts came to a sudden halt, before taking a deep sigh. Similarly, the evil essence around him had died down as well. He relaxed under Mattenes' touch, a significantly flustered flush propping onto his face, as he looked down at the ground. That was more than a little embarrassing, especially since it had happened in front of his new friends.
Though he could easily have blamed it on the alcohol, the boy knew better, as he cursed his latest emotional crescendo. Beyond the fearful self-loathing, another factor pushed the already unstable lad further down the rabbit hole. But what was it? So much had flooded out of his memory banks, filling his head with the past's trials and failures. As much as the boy hated to admit it, his martial arts training could only do so much, when the very fiber of his being forced a response out of his body.
Once upon a time that gut reaction was rage, as he pilfered and brawled his way throughout the cityscapes, in light of a certain someone's unexpected demise. As his power grew and evolved, something else had taken his old anger's place: mourning. The boy had begun to finally process the finality of death. Sure, he was well-aware of how revival worked as he was a denizen of hell, but he knew that not everyone would come back. Even worse, not everyone wanted to come back. And as he grew and matured, that logical thought train wasn't just applied to the deceased, but to some of the living as well.
He missed a good number of people greatly, the ones who were no longer around. And in his grief, his head had somehow applied that to the two Saiyans that stood before him, fearing that they would leave him as well if he failed to control his powers (as he'd done constantly in the past). And though the more rational voice in his head now told him that it would be okay, something else fed him other lies.
Who he'd believe and who he wouldn't still had to be decided, but for now he couldn't care. All he could do was weakly stare up at the two, as he pocketed his alcohol. With a bashful sigh, he opened his mouth to speak. "I'm sorry..." He bowed his head apologetically, the area now clear of his soul's corruption. At least he was calm, right? "I'm a dummy." Nabel admitted with a resigned expression, as he flashed the both of his friends a weak, weary smile
There was something buried in that look, an emotion that fueled most of the boy's existence. Not that the two would know exactly about that yet. "You don't have to do that, Matt." He nodded. "But thank you. And thank you too Gira." Demonic Will deactivated- | PL: 40,057 | Weighted PL: 10,014(.25)

As the sense of the intense power died down, he collapsed to the floor like as if he was made of water. He sighed relieved "oh goodness" He simply said "Ok we're all good" He chuckles a bit "It's okay Nabel" He reassured, even from the puddle that was Matt on the ground. He shifted to sit on his rump
"Im just glad that I could get to you, Im really scared of powerful Ki like your guys'- I guess cause of Kaito spooking me" He chuckles a bit scratching the back of his neck "I guess here on earth ya just end up facing your fears to help a friend I guess" He finally gets to his feet, though his tail was still shivering from the residual reaction.
"and ah, i'll keep that promise. Though I still wanna learn some non fighty stuff first" He then looked to his gut a little concerned. That feeling. That burning feeling let him push forward. That was his Saiyan blood wasn't it? But he didnt try to hurt Nabel. What was the difference. the blood that made saiyans like his parents vicious unrelenting beasts, and yet- the same blood in him and even Gira and they wouldnt dare be so callous. He was confused, in a good way though. He had a lot of stuff to think about now.
He sighed and outright asked Gira "Gira. Do you ever have a burning fire in your gut? Like an actual flame or something." He asks. The light in his eyes was still there, and actually seemed to brightened the more he felt confused about himself/.

Gira held back a sigh of relief as Nabel's power died down to where it was before. The pit in hr stomach went away as well. That was good. As Nabel chastised himself, Gira looked at him sympathetically. "It's okay. We all lose control sometimes." The half-Saiyan said, trying to help Nabel feel a little better. At the thank you sent her way and Matt's, Gira waved it off. "No problem. What are friends for?" She smiled at him. When Matt asked if she ever got a fiery feeling in her gut, Gira looked at him, then up at the sky. She put a finger to her chin, thinking.
She only really felt something similar to that when she got the urge to fight. Like when she was around someone strong. It used to be an urge that was hard to control, but years of trying to live a normal human life did a lot to temper that. Looking back at the Saiyan, she answered his question. "Yeah, sometimes. It happens when I get excited. Like, when I wanna fight. It used to be overwhelming, but years of practice allowed me to temper it, so the urge is easier to control." She smiled at the Saiyan. Gira wondered where that question came from, though. Did he have a similar feeling? If so, did he want to fight? 'I thought he didn't like to fight though...' Gira found herself thinking deeply again. 'I guess it's impossible to truly get the fighting spirit out of a Saiyan.'

"You really think so?" He asked Gira with a tilt of the head, and a thankful smile. "You're a good friend Gira. And you too, Matt." He bowed ever so slightly. "Thank you...Afterwards Nabel just looked around awkwardly, before sitting down as well. He wasn't physically drained, as the boy was fairly certain that his physiology made it possible for him to go several millennia without sleeping (provided that he didn't strain himself too much). Rather, his last emotional peak seemed to seep away at his energy, as he'd gone through so, so many differing states within the span of minutes. That was not something he'd ever want to experience a fiftieth time.
But given the boy's luck, it was basically guaranteed that something minor would push him over the edge yet again, until he either gave up to the hurt, or experienced some kind of contrived spiritual ascension. Of course, perhaps what he really needed was counseling and healthier, more enriching way to express himself rather than fighting. Though given the track record that fate itself and dumb luck had assigned towards the demon, there was little chance of him ever fully integrating into polite society. Thankfully, he didn't run with socially accepted circles, so it still came as a shock to him that Matt seemed to be having the exact opposite problem.
The Saiyan didn't know how to hang around fighters, or rather, didn't like the troubling feelings that arose within him during these interactions. Nabel's single eye blinked, as he listened in to both the boy's question, and Gira's apt response. And with that, a bashful grin broke through his chapped lips, as he waited for everyone to finish speaking. When he was sure that they had, the lad spoke up, drawing on something he had researched before his bizarre biological reset.
"That gut feeling could also be aggravated by something else as well. I learned about it when I was older." The demon nodded slowly, his voice dipping ever so slightly, as he shifted a little in his seat. Once again, his roulette wheel intelligence seemed to net him a neat pile of brain bucks. It might have been a little jarring, given his appropriately childlike outburst mere moments ago. Oddly enough, traces of his demonic ki began to swell once more as he continued to speak.
"With the way that Saiyans have evolved, most are attracted to physical prowess and martial abilities. Many look for these traits in potential mates, especially after puberty." The boy continued with a slightly tone, made all the more jarring by how he still looked and sounded like a child, as he physically was one. The evil essences that made up his being began to reveal themselves more obviously now, as its pale presence lingered around the room, not that Nabel himself seemed to notice. He really needed to work on keeping himself under wraps it seems.
"It's possible that besides being naturally drawn to fighting, combat triggers a sort of arousal, exacerbating those gut feelings of yours." He nodded. "Of course, that last bit is conjecture, cooked up from the information already available. But I think it could explain the situation a little bit more clearly." And as those final words slipped through his lips, there was a noticeable slack to his jaw. It was almost as if he'd run out of all the juice needed to power his moment of brilliance. Instead, he returned to speaking in a more childlike tone.
"I wonder if people would like me too if I fought real good-like?" He said with baffling innocence, as he bopped around in his seat. "That'd be so awesome! I could make alll of the fight-y friends." He giggled, all semblance of intellect thrown into the space boonies. This Nabel seemed much more natural than the one who gave a nature lecture. And as it stood, this shift hack towards the norm coincided with the complete calming of his aura. He was clean again, free of the taint that had flirted around with the idea of returning to the forefront of the scene. Demonic Will flipped on and offf oWo

He looked to Nabel, a bit happy that he could help his friend, even though he was monumentally confused about himself. When Gira looked to him, and answered him, it only served to confuse him more. "So, that burning feeling in my gut might be my saiyan blood wanting me to fight...?" He frowned "Hmm...." he looked down to his gut again. before Nabel chimed in.
He looked to his demonic friend, and as his pitch lowered a shiver went down his spine. h oly shit that pitch change aaand it didnt get better, while his demon energy swelled, he felt himself being petrified by it again, though he wasnt scared of or for the situation at hand, it seemed like a natural reaction now. He felt that fire grow in his gut, and he almost fought against it in reaction. Knowing it was a growing need to fight he didnt want it to control him.
However with the next chunk of dialogue that Nabel gave, Matt felt a bit somewhat more relieved. Maybe the gut feelings we have pushes us to fight? Instead of Fighting to fuel the gut feeling He thought. That first one seemed to make him more comfortable, because it may be a bit delusional, but he was wondering if the wanting to fight was less of hurting someone and more of something else. Like when Nabel had gotten upset. He didnt want to hurt Nabel. The fire in his gut seemed to fuel his ability to help Nabel. He looked to nabel again as the aura dissipated, he took a deep breath and made a faux grumpy face at Nabel
"You're killing me Nabel" He then added "Im just joking, but holy crap how can you two deal with someone more powerful than you? It feels like im being turned to stone" He chuckles a bit, scratching at the back of his neck for a third time. "I dunno if the gut feeling in me is bad anymore... I mean- I dont like it, it hurts when it's in my gut. but it's what helped me move when Nabel had a really high power"

Gira's cheeks went red as Nabel mentioned that the fire in their gut might be arousal or attraction. Embarrassing though that thought was, Gira pondered that for awhile. It was true that she never really felt attracted to any of her classmates. Maybe the reason actually was that they just weren't strong enough for her. She knew several good fighters in her boxing class, but none of them could even come close to providing a challenge. But that fire in her gut happened with girls too, though. Tulip, for example, was incredibly strong. Gira got that fire in her belly and wanted to fight the older hybrid.
She shook her head, deciding to think about it more later. Then she sensed it again; that surge of malevolent energy. It made the hair on the back of her neck stand up on end. Her muscles tensed up as her want to fight grew ever stronger. Before it got too tough to hold back, however, the aura died down and the topic of conversation changed once more. At Nabel wondering if people would like him more if he was a good fighter, Gira shrugged, calming herself. "I like you and I haven't even fought you yet." Noticing her friends were sitting down, the hybrid plopped down on the ground next to them.
Answering Matt's question, Gira answered his question about how she managed to deal with people more powerful than her. "Well, I don't really have to deal with it. When I find someone more powerful than me, I either want to fight them or learn from them. Maybe both. It all depends on the situation. About that feeling in your gut, though... it'll get better if you fight. Cuz that's what your Saiyan blood wants. It's kind of difficult to take the fighting spirit out of a Saiyan. I'd actually say that it's impossible. I had to find an outlet for it in school. Before I took up boxing, there were several times I thought I was going to go insane." Gira chuckled.

Nabel grew concerned again for a few brief moments, as he noticed his friends' uneasy reactions, though he quickly calmed down upon realizing what had just happened. He probably let the less savory side of his spirit take over again without noticing again, much to his own dismay. Thankfully, the two Saiyans seemed to take the misstep pretty well, though the boy himself couldn't help but be disappointed wt himself. I'm really bad at keeping that in check, sorry guys." The boy pouted, before giving the two an awkward smile.
His mood seemed to be raise however, as Gira encouraged him with a short, but sweet sentence. He had almost forgotten what it was like to be around other people, care-taking vampires and soul-stricken co-workers not withstanding. A warm sensation filled his cheeks, which he shook off with a giggle. "Thanks Gira. I think that you're cool too!" He grinned, resuming the excited bopping which he had ceased earlier. "You too, Matt." He added afterwards with a tiny chuckle.
If he didn't know how small the age gap was between the three of them, Nabel would have most likely pulled his little group of buddies into a group hug, to show them his gleeful appreciation. It was much easier to act in such a manner around adults, who were (mostly) sure to not get the wrong idea. Though given how young the boy appeared to be, both physically and emotionally, maybe such an action could still be in the cards. Still, it wasn't one that he'd risk playing just yet.
So instead he just beamed brightly, as he continued to listen to Gira's response to Matt's question. And in the boy's single eye, she had the right ideas, and delivered them quite well. There wasn't much for him to add to the discussion besides a few reassurances that he was listening. "I don't have Saiyan blood, but that's pretty much the same for me." He put a single finger to his cheeks, wiping off what remained of his tears and ooze. That little emotion was out of the picture. For now, he wanted to be there for his buds.
"I think Gira's advice could really help you, Matt." He nodded, before reassuring the (possibly) older boy with a grin. "I mean, you don't even have to jump into fighting people. Maybe just learning martial arts from them could help satisfy your gut." He continued. "Forms and hitting heavy bags can be pretty relaxing, once you get into the rhythm of it." With that, the boy paused for a moment, before grinning widely. "Of course, we're always around to teach you the non-smack-y parts of ki control.

Mattenes smiled at Nabel's compliment. He nods "I think you're cool too Nabel" He says. He looks to Gira in response to her discussing how she handled her gut feelings. Was it that bottlenecked in outlets? Couldnt he... woodcarve to get the frustration out...? No, that's pretty dumb. Why would it, his blood wanted him to delve into violence. And. It didnt seem like he was going to be able to avoid it forever.
Between the war, his own blood being elated by the others around him. It really seemed like he wasn't going to have much of a choice in this. Though he still had apprehensions If I do, I dont think I could come back to the planet... What if I hurt them on accident? What if I just become a disappointment that became the bloodthirsty person they worried i'd be? W-... What would Kasey think...? He looked down, the air around him became somewhat miserable as that last thought hit him I dont think I could take it, she's been my closest friend. She didnt care I was a saiyan. He looked to the side. The conflict in his mind extremely evident now But, even if I do, someone's going to come after me out of curiosity. What if they found them? Oh god what if they got hurt? I wouldnt be able to do anything! That feeling in his gut lit aflame. Roaring harder than it had before. While his PL didn't change, his ki had felt restrained. choked. As the flame in his gut came alive his Ki dispersed in Aura, slight wisps of a deep shade of green. Matt was too focused into his thoughts right now to notice If they hurt them the flame in his gut grew. If I was strong His hand moved to his gut, while he wasn't conscious of the pain due to how engrossed into his thoughts he was, his hand still grabbed at his gut, his face contorted to slight pains, like as if you got a bad cramp. If I fought they'd be safe, Defending like Chai, and if I enjoyed fights like Nabel and Gira as a friendly thing.
his Aura died out and became restrained again as the flame in his gut was blown out could I still stay me? He frowned and looked to them "You two are really good friends. You two seem good natured like me. You guys can train me while keeping me good then, and not a killer like my parents" He said, standing up. "I wanna learn how to fight. I cant fight it forever, but I dont wanna become just a mindless killer like-" his gut churned. He didnt wanna say it "Like some people I know..." He looks down, then back to them
"If I learned how to fight, I could be a defender, a hero" He admitted, looking to Nabel, then to Gira. He smiled sort of, and the look in his eyes was alive. While he still felt conflicted, he was gonna stop fighting himself, and start coursing his life to be a good person even if he fought.
