His limbs stretched and bent as they got used to the lack of reach, a few punches and kicks tossed around to figure out how much reach he would even have for this battle, and while more than Basil, it was far from being as much as he wanted. When Basil popped up as to why he could only barely recall himself, that day was nothing short of a blur, it all started with wanting to find his house and ended in this huge mess. "Honestly, couldn't tell ya." He responded before finally finishing up with his stretches and waiting for the fight to begin.
Then it began with a pop, a bang and a crack, Basil wanted the fight to be left to its basics and Dantalion was happy to oblige as his burnt eyes scanned the room, looking for any advantage he could muster from the environment before learning how bad an idea it was to take his sight off the tiny Makyan, closing the distance faster than he could track him he quickly made short work of his advantage knocking him off balance a few steps as he struggled to regain his composure, normally there was weight behind him, size and gravity but in this fight, Basil was by far at the advantage even with the substantial power difference which didn't bode well for Dantalion as he bounced back into the fight.
His middle arms moved in for a clutch, vicing around Basil's body as his upper arms went in for pick straight jabs at his chin, back and fourth in a methodical metronome for a few seconds before his lowest arms gripped his legs, tearing him out from the vice grip and tossing him into the air following up with what he was sure to be a failed uppercut. Everyone and their dog knew how to fly so every time he went in for the uppercut and let gravity aid him in his fight, they quickly corrected the situation. Instead, he planned ahead this time, for once he wasn't going to let something like Gravity outplay him this time. He pressed his feet down, the ground rumbling as it cracked under the pressure before he bounced up the minute it looked like Basil was to regain his composure with an uppercut right to the gut. This time, this time he was going to get his uppercut whether gravity or Ki liked it or not.
