Name: Cress
Alias: Red Death
Species: Saiya-Jin
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Appearance:
Former Saiyan uniform
Cress stands at 5'10 and weighs only 158 pounds, though of course that fluctuates since who's weight just stays the same forever? Cress formerly wore saiyan armor without any shoulder pads and had a color scheme of black and red. His gloves as well were black and red instead of the traditional white. However now his appearance differs since then, now donning a black and red color schemed gi with red armbands.
Cress has black hair with his bangs coming down, favoring the right side. And even a bit more spiky on that side as well. His build is a rather muscular one of course due to his excessive training, however he still has a lean build.
History:
Cress was born to a pair of elite Saiyans which of course caused him to have high expectations at birth. However at his birth Cress had an average power level. Normally that would be alright, though the child of two elites with an average power level would never be accepted. Cress was then tossed aside and his parents never claimed him. His parents died a year later.
Cress grew up a low class Saiyan warrior with an unknown origin, presumed to be born of two low class Saiyans. This caused Cress to grow up under oppression from other elites. Cress was always harassed for being weaker than them and that it was his fate or his destiny to be their servant. Cress simply rolled his eyes and ignored them.
As he was trained like every other Saiyan child, the Elites always had their way and were always matched up against him in sparring and what not. As expected, he got beat down. There wasn't much he could do about it either. At this stage their natural talent and power was all that mattered since training wasn't much of an option at the very beginning.
Despite always being targeted Cress stuck with it and continued on and kept steadily raising his own power. Before long there wasn't much more he could be taught and it was time for him to go out on his own. Class dismissed.
-
Cress steadily aged up and his power rose as well, eventually hitting the 800 mark. Turns out Cress developed and rapidly rose in strength compared to the others, the previous elites that targeted him were only around 600. However he was still seen as low class and the elites above him in every way.
By this point Cress had joined a squad of other low class Saiyans, except their leader was an elite which was rather rare. Normally an elite wouldn't stoop down to take over a band of low class Saiyans but, Cress didn't know the reasoning, nor did he ever learn it.
The band of Saiyans went on to complete a few missions before eventually their leader moved up and joined a team of all elites. Nobody complained though, everybody knew eventually he wouldn't be here long, but who would lead them now?
By now Cress had only gained even more strength, quickly gaining power and rising to 1,000. At this point he doubled the power of everybody else and was made their leader. Cress continued to lead them well actually, successfully completing mission after mission. Though all good things must come to an end right?
Eventually they took on a mission meant for elites and the squad soon found that they weren't as tough as they thought they were. To put it simply, they were all slaughtered. Every single one of them annihilated, except for one. You guessed it. Cress was the only one that could continue on and he himself finished the mission.
At this point, Cress had to come to a decision. Return alone? Or.. perhaps this was his chance to leave? Cress thought about his situation. He hated the system here how the elite ruled the low class. Why would he want to return to them? Just what did they do for him anyway? Cress sneered before returning to his pod steadily. He then looked for a place he could go, a safe place. That was when he set he set his destination for Earth and made way for it.
-
Upon reaching Earth Cress ditched his Saiyan uniform for a gi that he saw many others wearing. From here on he blended in fine except for one thing, he had a tail. Cress did the one thing he could, he severed his tail like he severed his ties with the SSE. With this he was now away from the SSE and even presumed dead by them. He and the rest of his squad died on their last mission.
Cress was much stronger than he was in the SSE but after he left he began to live a more peaceful life style, not getting any stronger. Everything changed when the SSE attacked the Earth. Cress didn't get involved majorly as he didn't live in any of the larger populated areas but was still effected by the attack, some of the SSE even attacking him. Luckily he wasn't found out but he saw just how weak he had become, struggling against even some fodder.
This hurt him more than anything had before. All this slacking off really made him weak. As the invasion ended, Cress decided it was time to come out of "retirement" and instead get back into training, striving to become even stronger, striving to become what few have done before. Cress was on the path to become a Super Saiyan.
