[ Thread PL: 238,004 ] [ Ki Suppression ON - Active PL: 5,000 ] Konats was now behind him, the ship he had been given at Xylo's landed once again upon the lush grasslands of Namek. This was the spot where Kizuki died and resurrected again, that ominous looking castle could be seen in the background as the Saiyajin's vision focused on it. He couldn't feel Xylo's ki, though perhaps he was hiding himself. Kizuki himself was guilty of that at the moment, keeping his ki down to a respectable level as to not garner too much attention. Not that he wasn't looking for a good fight. The last few moments with Alaistair on Konats had him riled up still, though at the moment he was inclined to a very different sort of meeting with a very different sort of individual... if they made it to the land of the living themselves. With the ship capsulized and in the pocket of his bodysuit the Saiyajin took the skies and did his best to feel out Helix's ki. He knew he wasn't going to be able to find him, even in a crowd of Namekians, which were none to be seen. The planet felt different than before, something seemed to come over it since Xylo had taken over. Perhaps the Namekians were hiding themselves, too? He couldn't be so sure. Kizuki would've used this new telepathy thing he had learned, but he wasn't sure how to reach out to Helix at all without actually seeing him, or feeling his ki. He remembered the small orb that Helix gave him, fishing it out of his other pocket and holding it in his gloved fingers, peering into it as if it would give him some answers. "Tch'! What a bother. If only he was as easy to track down as his brother is." With the small orb in hand Kizuki would continue to fly with it in his grasp, looking at it every now and then to see if it would glow, as Helix had instructed, if the Namekian was anywhere near him. He began to wonder if the little marble worked at all, or perhaps Helix wasn't even on Namek, or worst case scenario the Namekian never revived at all. The third scenario was less likely, as dire as it was, as at one point Kizuki had no longer felt his, Xylo's, or Alaistair's ki in Hell with him anymore.
So, just where was this green man?

Helix Crust wasn't who he used to be.
On namek, he had been a prophet, speaking the divine word of Porunga and preaching a deeper respect for the time honored traditions of the dragon caste. But when he traveled to earth—twenty years before the destruction of planet namek—he was naive and lost. No trial or tribulation could match up to the years he spent wandering on earth, without a single sign of purpose from his father.
In death, Helix had been gentle and warm, greeting strangers with compassion and navigating the twisted tales of the condemned. Helix had met some of the most important people of his (after)life: Xylo, Grand Elder Nai, and King Kai. Helix's compassion resonated as warmly as Hell's own plains.
But in life— In life the prophet was cold. Cold and tense. While revival had been a breath of fresh air, his return to namek was immediately soiled with the tragedy of Xylo's takeover, and the dark energy lingering over the planet on that day seemed to be an omen for the future. Although Helix had assumed the mantle of guru, it was a solitary and lonely existence. His interactions with the Porungian Sentinel threatened to kindle some sparks of hope in him, but the viscousness and inescability of the Mazoku Dominion kept the prophet locked up in the Namekian palace in thought. And his time alone in his new residence left a permanent frost over the prophet's interactions; the radiance that used to be characteristic of the prophet had turned into a biting skepticism.
But even still, something was bubbling inside of him.
The door of the grand elder's palace slid open mechanically as Helix began to approach it, whirring out of sight before he could get a good look at it, exposing him to the sun before he was ready. The door always caught him off guard.
Stepping outside, the guru hummed absentmindedly to himself, pacing over to the left side of the palace and kneeling down to tend to his small Asijja garden. Helix's bushes were growing slowly and meekly; the soil seemed reluctant to bear life after a long period of neglect.
Regardless, the prophet gathered what little produce the earth could manage and relished it. Asijja tea brewed from the feeblest bush soothed the soul more potently than synthetic leaves produced by the best mystic. And it was for that purpose that the guru of planet namek now knelt, rather hilariously, with the side of his head head pressed against the soil, holding a namekian ruler.
The newest sprout looked to grown almost an inch since the day before, and the prophet's face lit up with a sharp toothed grin. "You're doing pretty well!" Helix chimed at the plant happily, patting the soil at it's base affectionately before laughing at himself. Gently, the prophet harvested a few leaves from some of the more well grown bushes in his garden before placing the herbs into a small brown sack and standing up.
It seemed like a good time to check up on things across Namek. Standing at the edge of the tower, the sights below would be imperceptible to anyone besides a kami. As Helix squinted, his vision zoomed downwards exponentially, blasting across the Namekian plains and skimming over the Maima Seas. In his Far Sight, the guru became near omniscient, his magical energy giving him a complete view of the perceivable namekian landscape.
And it was while he was scanning Namek's surface that Helix came across something that instantly delighted him. Hovering in the air with a characteristic scowl... was his old companion from Hell, Kizuki!
But what brought the guru instant excitement was that the saiyan wasn't just here for Xylo: he was holding a small blue marble, a gift from Helix so that they could keep in touch. The thought that the saiyan could be looking for him in order to harm him never crossed the prophet's mind.
Almost immediately, Helix's forehead marking took on a white glow, projecting his consciousness out across Namek to get in contact with the saiyan telepathically. But suddenly, the prophet stopped short. Kizuki's words echoed in his mind.
"And if you ever invade my mind again without my permission, I'll make sure it's the only way you'll get to talk to your brother or anyone else for a long time."
What kind of greeting would it be to give his friend an unwanted invasion of his thoughts? The guru smiled as his vision zoomed out, straightening his robes. That wouldn't do. He would just have to go greet him in person.
Helix stepped out closer to the ledge, activating his instantaneous movement technique. The mystic vibrated rapidly for a moment, blurring in and out of sight before disappearing completely in a whirr of wind.
Kizuki's marble would glow a slight blue, increasing rapidly in intensity until it reached it's maximum sheen… And Helix would appear out of thin air, on the ground below the saiyan.
"Kizuki!" the namekian cried out happily, looking up at his companion, "It's a pleasure to see you!"

Within a matter of moments the small marble in between his fingers began to glow a blue-ish hint, causing the Saiyajin to peer at it more closely. He'd look away, trying to make out where the green man was, feeling a ki that was somewhat familiar to him, though definitely bigger than what he had remembered. Had Helix gotten that much stronger? He was interested to find out. As the marble pulsated in a more frequent manner, it would finally blaze a bright blue and from below him he could hear Helix calling his name. Kizuki looked down, seeing him standing there, before looking back at the marble and placing it into his pocket once more. "Huh. Guess it wasn't broken after all."
Using his ki, the Saiyajin would begin to descend down towards the ground until booted feet hit the solid ground under him. "Yo." It was a simple enough greeting, not one for displaying a wide array of emotions other than anger. He'd nod upwards to the Namekian as he approached him, steps closing the distance between the two. "At first I thought the ki I was feeling was Xylo. I must say, I'm quite impressed with how much stronger you've gotten since we first met." The Saiyajin would simply smirk, standing within a few feet in front of the Namekian now. "Been training for something? Perhaps you're not a fan of the new self-proclaimed Overlord of Namek." Of course, Kizuki was talking about his brother, Xylo who according to Alaistair was somehow Xylo's "other half" in a sense. It was something that Kizuki wanted to delve deeper into, as well as the Dragon Balls. "Your brother has been busy since we were gone, I see. Castle is a bit overdone, but I expected as much coming from him."

Helix gave his sayian company a sharp toothed grin as he descended to the ground. The prophet couldn't help but grin when Kizuki told him that he mistook him for Xylo… Had he really gotten that much more powerful? Helix half didn't believe his own strength nowadays.
"The afterlife did me a few favors," Helix chuckled with a slight shrug. The new guru stuck out his hand quickly, expecting a firm shake. This was how earthlings greeted each other. Pausing with an awkward chuckle, Helix looked down at his outstretched palm. "Do you… Shake hands?"
Upon Kizuki's sly comment on Xylo, Helix sucked on his teeth awkwardly, his eyes diverting to the left. "He's not exactly a paragon of Namekian ideals," Helix noted darkly, "But I haven't really done any physical training." Helix paused, giving a sheepish smile. "You really ought to try meditation— Perhaps I could guide you in an introduction."
Upon being reminded of Xylo's castle, the unfortunate blemish on Namek's surface bubbled to the surface of the prophet's consciousness, and his ki sense was suddenly reminded of the countless demons and mazoku brewing only miles away. The prophet bit his lip with anxiety. "He has certainly… Changed things." The prophet inhaled through his nose for a long while, before finishing off, "My homecoming was riddled with tension. Have you heard of his actions on the day of the usurp?"
Suddenly, Helix realized how quickly their conversation had taken off, and in the middle of nowhere! "Come now, if you will," Helix blinked happily at his hellmate, suddenly excited at the prospect of bringing a companion back to his palace. "I'll blink us back to my palace, and we can get settled there!" If the Saiyan agreed, Helix would gently place a hand on Kizuki's shoulder.

Kizuki's own hand would reach out and grasp Helix's, taking a firm grip on it and shaking it. "I was taught to bow as a greeting, but typically warrior types will greet each other in a similar manner as 'shaking hands' as you call it." Kizuki's upbringing, before enlisting into the army of his home planet, was upper echelon in nature. Though, none of that particularly mattered anymore. "I did some mental training when I was in Hell. It helped a lot, but nothing can come close to actual combat training for me. We Saiyajin can only sit still for so long." He'd offer a smirk to the Namekian, as he would continue on and ask Kizuki some questions, to which he nodded. "Alaistair filled me in on what happened while I was still in Hell. Apparently your brother has aligned himself with another Demon, someone much more power than Alaistair... and is allowing themselves to be working UNDER Xylo, for some reason."
He'd stop himself from continuing, nodding to Helix as the Namekian placed a hand on his shoulder. "Fair enough. We can speak in a more private setting if that's what you wish." He wasn't sure what this "blinking" meant, but he could tell Helix had a different kind of power in him than Kizuki was used to, something more similar to Alaistair and his "tricks" rather than raw power like himself or Xylo. "There's a lot to discuss, and I have a few questions for you as well. Feel free to get us moving any time you are ready." The Saiyajin stood there, crossing his arms over his armored chest as he waited for Helix to do whatever it is he needed to do to transport them away.

Helix clasped the saiyan's hand, finding himself on the receiving end of the interaction he had convoluted of himself. "it really is strange when you think about it," chuckled Helix awkwardly, withdrawing his own green hand just a few second too late to avoid awkwardness. "I would be delighted to guide you through some meditation," Helix offered again tantalizingly with a grin, before chuckling, "If you don't mind sitting down for a while."
But when Helix received new information on his brother's affairs, the guru's brows furrowed, and he squeezed his right thumb. What was this demon, more powerful than the one from the gates of Hell? Why had Helix not known about this? And how did Xylo get this creature to serve him? The guru attempted to swell back into his carefree attitude with a smile, but the corners of his lips seemed pulled down by some force of graveness.
Luckily, just as Helix was about to begin discussion of more serious matters, Kizuki agreed to return to the palace. Helix's eyes lit up happily; it would be a joy to have a friend in his long empty abode.
"Excellent," the guru chimed with a flush of excitement, placing his hand gently on Kizuki's shoulder. The saiyan crossed his arms and the dragon caste took that as his cue. Helix closed his eyes, and his forehead scar glew to a sudden blitz of white light. In an instant, the duo would rapidly vibrate, before bursting into thin air, wishing off in a whirr of dust.
Back at the grand elder's tower, a sphere of white light would predate their arrival by milliseconds, revealing their tall silhouettes for a moment before subsiding. Helix would gently lift his palm from his friend's shoulder and pace forwards towards the front door of the palace alongside the saiyan.
The palace itself was not unlike typical namekian architecture, only slightly larger. The single predominant white sphere was annexed by two smaller semispheres on each side, and one ornamental dome on top. Across the structure, blue gem windows dotted the walls, and two stark horns grew out of the top of the building.
As the guru's gently barefooted steps approached the doorway, the slice of the structure automatically whizzed open, locking into place with a hiss as it gave way for entry.
If Kizuki, followed the prophet inside, the guru would turn to his companion with a sheepish smile. "Would you like to sit down for some tea? We could take a look at the library, if you'd like."

Before Kizuki could really understand anything that was about to happen his entire body was warped elsewhere, instantaneously even. Even blinking caused him to miss how Helix was able to pull off such a feat. Namekians and their odd powers. The Saiyajin looked around, giving his attention back to Helix afterwards. "Ah. I'll take you up on the offer for tea, perhaps I'll skim through your library some other time. though." He followed Helix inside, being led into the Namekian's home. The structures of their homes was not unlike the type Kizuki had seen in the poorer districts of Vegeta during his brief stay there. Build crudely, but they appeared able to withstand the elements to a certain extent. He'd give the interior a look around before continuing. "I wanted to talk to you about something interesting I learned while I was on Konats. Apparently your people are capable of fusing with one another in order to gain a massive amount of power. I'd imagine if your brother was backed into a corner he'd be doing what he can to make sure he uses you to his advantage. How true is this?" There was something else Kizuki wanted to ask the Namekian, but he didn't want to overload him with questions right off the bat, he'd wait for Helix to answer him on his one thing first before continuing on with the next topic. Besides, he was really eager for that tea. Kizuki would go to cross his arms over his armored chest while continuing to look around at the inside of Helix's home, taking in everything he could from wall to wall. Helix Crust

The prophet nodded happily, buzzing at the joy of having company around the house. As they paced in the front door, a main foyer would come into view. At the center of the large dome shaped room was a pedestal, and on top of it was a perfectly smooth stone ball that had been shattered in two. It was the last remains of the previous guru's dragon balls.
On the left side of the room, the main dome branched off into a smaller auxiliary room. One could easily see from the outside that it was packed densely with namekian literature, and contained a few volumes of forbidden or highly sensitive knowledge: if one read the library from front to back, they would know everything about namekian mysticism, from fusion to the creation of dragon balls. Helix had only burrowed his way through a small portion of the books.
Across from the doorway leading into the left annex was another smaller room, this one seemingly a storage room. Inside, pottery and ceramics dotted the cozy shelves, each containing mystical artificats and herbs. Important namekian artificats were held there too, although it mostly was just full of various types of exotic teas.
Finally, at the far end of the main room was a wide slab stairwell, leading up a short ways to the second floor, where Helix both slept and entertained company. It was rather messy up there- Helix would have to rush up to tidy up things before he brought company in!
"What kind of tea would you like?" Helix requested with a grin, leading Kizuki over to the high stacked room of pots. Helix was a very humble man, but if he was said to have one sin, it would be his immense pride in his collection of special teas and herbs. And he did look pretty proud of himself, standing there with his hands on his hips.
Helix gaped at the talk of fusion, and then laughed out loud awkwardly. It was as if Helix had asked Kizuki when he planned on impregnating a woman! The intricacies of Namekian culture were typically danced around in conversation, and Kizuki's bluntness made the one hundred and twenty year old giggle with bashfulness. "My- What a question!" But when the guru saw his companion was serious, his face turned stern. "Fusion is indeed possible: one of the most sacred rituals of namekian culture and the most valuable gift a namekian can give to another. Fusion must be willing, and if one is to fuse, they give up their very soul to assimilate into another namekian. It is rarely practiced, although I hear that some Mazoku practice fusion in secrecy. Of course it is not taboo in dragon caste society, it is simply nothing to be taken lightly in the slightest."
Helix bit his lip and put his hands on his hips anxiously. "I do not believe Xylo and I would find ourselves in a fusion situation." He looked at Kizuki, concerned. "Why do you ask? I certainly hope you do not plan to be the one to back him in to such a corner. I may not agree with his policies, but I would never wish any harm greater than peaceful defeat upon him."
