Name: Slu’guis
Alias: N/A
Species: Namekian, Warrior Tribe.
Gender: Male.
Age: 17.
Appearance:
History:
A ‘Warrior Tribe’ probably brought forth images of skilled combatants, all training together to become great and powerful warriors. Hence the name, ‘Warrior Tribe’. It just made sense. However, not all members of a ‘warrior’ tribe would call themselves a warrior. In fact, Slu’guis happened to be born as one such special case- a resident of Namek’s warrior tribe with a drive to be anything but. Slu’guis himself didn’t know why he was like this- he just never took an interest in combat. His Namekian brothers and sisters, classmates and friends, they all did. Compared to them, Slu’guis didn’t improve. Just a year after they began training, Slu’guis was lagging behind. The gap between him and them only grew as the years wore on, and as the gap grew, so did his dislike for fighting. He was a terrible fighter.
After years of this, he gave up. There was no use trying to become something you couldn’t be. Instead, Slu’guis turned to reading about managing money, and learning about the history of Namek. Worked out fine, for a while. He was unskilled as a warrior, and most just forgot about him eventually. He would’ve lived out his life that way. However… when his life came to a sudden end, things would begin to change for the failed warrior.
He didn’t remember much of his death- he awoke, just like the rest of his clan, when they were wished back by the dragonballs. The coming months made him realize something- Namek was a terrible place to be. He was lucky that he was wished back with the dragonballs. He took a real hard look at his life- some warriors the rest of his clan was. They promised protection, but their planet was blown to smithereens. Where were the warriors to stop that? Fed up with his people, Slu’guis took a pod and left Namek. He didn’t look back.
Instead, he looked forwards, towards his destination. Earth. While he was dead, Earth had been invaded by the Saiyans- and was now rebuilding. It survived the conflict. Much more than he could ever say about Namek. He realized that if Earth could fend off an invasion, it was a much safer place to be than his planet, with his people- who he thought of as nothing but hypocritical weaklings. On Earth, there would also be opportunity to rebuild- opportunity for money.
When the pod landed, Slu’guis quickly found work. He worked to rebuild the planet. Perhaps not the most glamorous or well-paying job, but he got by. He quickly fell into a routine. He got by, but he wasn’t exactly where he wanted to be. However, it was better than Namek, so he persevered. Eventually, though, he decided that perhaps he wasn’t using the life he was given efficiently. Just being a labour worker- he pictured himself doing much better. He handed in his resignation letter and took his last paycheck. With it, he paid for a One-Use Pod and kept the change. With it, he set out to make a new life for himself.
