Kaza and Kizuki seemed to be bouncing off the angry responses to one another, tag-teaming the Devil with some minor support from Vennel, despite her attempts to level the situation. Kizuki had gotten to the point of threatening Alaistair, in his shop with so many people around him! Vennel suggested that the food may not have been a good idea at this given point, and Alaistair was inclined to follow that advice, as his stare glazed upon the saiyan Kizuki. The Devil didn't say anything. He simply stared at him in an vastly unimpressed manner. His gaze, this entire time, was fixated upon Kizuki, even though he was talking to Vennel about it. "You. GO BLOW OFF SOME STEAM. I have offered you ample room to talk, asked for your advice on matters, and have tried, time and time again to be your ally and to help you adjust to life," Alaistair spoke bluntly to Kizuki, "I have even shared my brain and all the crap I, and every single person I did this this process with, with you and have assimilated your own memories with my own, to when we were in HFIL. I had felt YOU die, as if I had died, and I know YOU FELT THE SAME THING! I've known you were blaming me every step of the way, and I'd been trying my damndest to make up for it, Kizuki! You're going to metal concert, with a pit fight there, and you're going to do whatever you damn feel like in that place. Beat someone to death? Destroy the fighting arena? Go for it. You wanted to get the lead out against the damn androids this fight because of what happened and I'll be damned if I lose an ally I SHARED MY MIND WITH!"( Kizuki , telepathic invasion was removed. My bad, dude!) |

The former Queen's response would come into how mind, listening to her before responding, Alaistair already beginning in his retort against Kizuki. "Rather not do it like this. I'm sure he'll become suspicious. Of all his bad traits, stupidity is not one of them. Go to Vegeta, I'll meet you there when I'm done on Namek. Try not to get into any trouble while I'm not there..." The last part sounded like Kizuki was concerned, or had concern for her or even Kaza. It made him turn his eyes away from her quickly, looking forward at the door. He didn't give Alaistair another look, and would just simply throw his arm up in a half-hearted wave to him as booted feet carried him towards the door. "Good luck, Alaistair. This is where we part ways."
Without another word the Saiyajin would leave the restaurant as well as the entire Loft itself. It didn't take long for him to un-capsule his ship and head off Konats, heading straight for Namek.
Exit post, will take Zeni for this.
Also, spoke to Ed about Alaistair invading the mental conversation between Vennel and Kizuki. Since Kizuki's denounced the TDK completely in that post and he used his own Telepathy tech, Alaistair shouldn't have been able to listen in. Think it's best for you to remove that bit.
If by all means I need to honor Alaistair being able to do that someone let me know differently and I'll edit my post to acknowledge and answer to Alaistair doing that.

What began as a regular conversation about their future plans had completely derailed into a full-blown argument about all sorts of shit. It seemed that everyone there had some sort of unspoken frustrations about all the things that had been going on recently- Kizuki and Kaza obviously being the angriest there.
Their constant berating of Alaistair for his poor decisions had finally begun to tick the Devil off as well. He had lost his calm demeanor, and resorted to snarling at Kizuki about things Kaza really didn't understand. In her eyes though, he seemed to be quite pissed...But, it had been his own fault, in her eyes. If he didn't want Kizuki to bail on him, he should've treated him better, and take some responsibility in his own actions...It was that easy, really.
But, what was done, was done. Kaza didn't know anything about their past with one another, so she could only fill in the holes with assumptions. A grim look rested on her face, the entire restaurant had this terrible silence washed over it. Customers were obviously staring at their group of people, some even leaving as Alaistair's yelling got louder and louder.
Kaza merely remained silent as Kizuki took his leave again, this obviously wasn't the time or the place to say goodbyes. They'd most likely meet again soon, on Vegeta.
Everything had gone to shit, and so had Kaza's mood. The tension, everyone's anger, and her own anger really didn't help to fix any of this. A thick silence washed over the group once Kizuki had left, the majin shifting awkwardly in her seat.
Finally, Kaza let out a long sigh as she dragged her eyes back to the group, her face sagged down with a disgusted pout. ''I should...I should go as well, before I actually SNAP.'' Kaza hissed out, rising from her seat with glaring eyes.
''Pretty sure Plato wouldn't be happy if this city happened to blow up again.''
Kaza took a few steps out of their booth before she paused her pace, turning around one last time. ''Oh- Vennel, I'll hit you up once I'm done with your armor, ye?'' Kaza asked, trying to force a friendly tone- but it only made her sound more exhausted. ''And, Al...'' Her eyes dragged themselves towards the Devil, piercing into his eyes with a cold stare. ''Good luck.'' Kaza let out coldly. Her tone was caked in an unfunny amount of apathy and sarcasm.
Kaza left the Loft right after that, really needing some time alone to calm down. She'd travel back to her ship, figuring that designing and creating Vennel's new armor would be a good thing to distract herself with- for now.

Things had gone pretty much beyond the point of repair, at least, for this conversation. Alaistair lost his cool, and it showed in both his body language, and especially his words toward the male saiyan. He’d made his passionate plea for Kizuki to stay allied with the devil. But what was done was done. Vennel heard the saiyan’s thoughts in her head, and replied with a simple See you there, then.Her mental tone a bit playful, despite the situation. Letting out a sigh, as Kizuki left, she watched as Kaza did more or less the same. She had also lost her temper, and thanks to her newfound intellect, rationality, or any number of reasons, she said she wasn’t going to cause more of a scene. Her parting words to the female Saiyan brought a nod from Vennel. As the bubblegum warrior left the loft, Vennel massaged the bridge of her nose. Things had escalated far too quickly, and she felt partially responsible, having brought up an issue that was so rough on people. But she had no idea that things would end up this way. “ That certainly… escalated.” Her hand which had massaged the bridge of her nose previously, dragged across her face, as if she were just waking up from some sort of deep sleep and trying to wake up. This was all very real, and definitely happened, alright. “ Well, you know how to reach me, Alaistair. I’m sorry, by the way, about all of this.” The woman punctuated her final word with a swirling gesture of her hand. She didn’t know what to say to him, after all this. The best she could muster was a simple apology on behalf of everything that happened. Even though she wasn’t truly sorry, at least, not for the reactions of those who were here. She was, however, sorry what happened. She didn’t mean a conversation like this to cost the man a supporter and ally. But maybe she wasn’t responsible for that. From the sounds of things, this was something that was building for quite some time. The animosity between Kizuki and the devil was sure to have boiled over sooner or later. “ I should get going. I have to prepare my pod down at the docks, and then swing by Kaza’s to grab the armor she’s working on.” As she turned on her heel, she made her way towards the exit of the loft. As she walked, however, without turning to directly face the man, she spoke toward him. “ Thank you. For everything.” Those were her last words spoken toward the man, as she left the loft. She’d done what she set out to do, inform him of her departure. The rest was accidental collateral.

Kizuki left quietly, only saying his goodbye and leaving the Loft. Kaza, meanwhile, sneered at him while telling him good luck. It left him and Vennel there a bit, with attention shot over to them. The other Alaistair duplicates had been going around, getting everyone to be at ease. Meanwhile, the Alaistair that was at the table pinched the bridge of his nose, as Vennel pointed out the obvious. "Yeah, Kizuki has no shut off switch for his angst, and I guess Kaza gets very receptive of that," he stated, while moving to stand up as Vennel did. She apologized about this, Alaistair only responding in a cooled down manner, "Don't apologize. He came outta the blue there, when I was hoping to have some friendly banter! Guy's a damn idiot outside of battle now, apparently..."The former, and possibly future, Queen mentioned that she should get going, to collect this armor before getting to her ship. Alaistair simply nodded in agreement, uttering, "I'll see you around... And thank you for helping out. I look forward to our future work together!"( Kizuki, nah, that's all good! I was thinking I could do that with a thread going on with Cipher and Plato, but that's a little side plot thing of his.) (I'll be taking zeni with level 1 shop for this thread.) |
