Visions of the Past [Cipher]

The Kashvaar fortress was in complete ruin. Plato had spared no effort in destroying all they had built during the civil war. Cipher hoped though that in his zeal, he hadn't destroyed their knowledge. The Kashvaar were masters of magic, and though Cipher condemned their actions, he knew they had what he sought.

The Kashvaar had used magic to implant monsters within the Konatsians. Cipher believed they had the key to remove the evil which now plagued him. He could still feel the spirit lurking inside him, held down by the ond between himself and Porsalynne. But how long could they keep it up? The pair had lost sleep, out of fear the spirit would try to seize control while they slept. And though being an android helped in that regard, they couldn't stay awake forever.

As he touched down, he began making his way through the ruined fortress. Now, where would the archives be? The android remained quiet as he looked around, hoping beyond hope that something of their magic survived.

Tekuma Mayakon

It was dark inside the ruined fortress. But then again, Cipher expected as such. Who would both keeping the torches lit in ruins like this? Cipher's eyes allowed him to see in the dark clearly enough, though he knew he would need to take any findings into the light to read them, especially in his current state. He found himself for the umpteenth time hoping he could find something in here. It would save him having to go into the capital proper in order to find someone.

Then a soft crack caught his attention. A crack coming from above. Cipher stopped and immediately looked upwards. He couldn't sense any life forms, but there was definitely something there. He tried to make out a form in the darkness, but his tired eyes made it somewhat difficult. "Is someone there?" he called out, keeping himself somewhat on guard. If there was, he didn't know what their intentions were.

Tekuma Mayakon

Cipher found himself flinching at the sudden light source in the room. The lack of sleep was starting to get to him. At least he could see a form in the darkness, a glimmer of red hair. But it was when the figure spoke did Cipher freeze in place.

That voice...

He took a step towards the figure, his eyes wide as he looked at her. "Tekuma?" he said softly. He knew Tekuma was on Konats, but why was she here in this destroyed fortress?

Cipher stared on as Tekuma stepped into the light. He only barely noticed the petals, the halo surrounding her. All he was focused on was his lost daughter in front of him. He had found her.

And the android moved faster than one would expect. Suddenly, all four arms were wrapped around her in a tight embrace. "It's good to see you again." he said, trying to hold back the emotion in his voice. He felt guilty for all of this, for not being there when she needed him most. He gently pulled back, a warm smile on his face. She would be able to see how tired he was now. "What are you doing here? I thought you would be in the city."

As the red haired cyborg buried her face into Cipher's chest, sobbing, Cipher held her gently, running his fingers through her hair in a soothing gesture. He could understand her fear. She had had a mental breakdown and had killed an innocent. That sort of thing would weigh on anyone's mind, unless they were a monster, which Cipher knew Tekuma was nothing of the sort. "It's ok Tekuma," Cipher said gently, pulling her back so he could get a look at her face, "We're here now. Me, Porsalynne, Charlene. We're all here for you. No matter what happens, we'll be here to help you through it."

It was a little bit hypocritical for him to say that. Cipher was the one who should be scared. After all, if that monstrous spirit inside of him took control, who knows what would happen, what it would do in his body. That was why he came seeking this place first. If he could find what he was looking for, without putting lives at risk, all the better.

Tekuma Mayakon

At Tekuma's inquiry, Cipher's face fell. "I've been having some problems as well..." The android pulled away, walking to one of the few chairs intact and sat down. "Days ago, I came across this tomb buried in the dessert. When I explored it...something appeared and forced its way inside of me. An ancient, and very evil spirit. It forcefully took control of my body, and it took me and Porsalynne working together for me to regain control." He gave his daughter a desperate look. "But it's still there, trying to get out. Your mother and I haven't slept in days, incase it tried to take over while we slept. We came to Konats to find a means of getting rid of it." His hands were trembling, the weight of the situation becoming more apparent to him.

Suddenly, in the darkness, came the sounds of footsteps. Cipher looked in the direction, knowing who was approaching. They had been waiting outside, and she probably felt her excitement. Out of the darkness came Porsalynne, followed by Charlene. Both mother and daughter stopped when they saw Tekuma.

"Tekuma!"

"Sis!"

Both would dive at the girl, giving her a big hug.

Realizing they had tackled the poor girl to the ground, Porsalynne and Charlene were quick to pull Tekuma back to hyer feet. Porsalynne than began looking over her wayward daughter. "You were worried about us? We were worried about you! How are you doing? Have you been eating alright? Keeping up with your hygiene?"[/color] Porsalynne was looking over the girl, making sure no bumps and bruises were on her. Meanwhile, Charlene just now noticed the petals everywhere, prodding them with her foot curiously. "See you decided to take up gardening, huh sis?"

Meanwhile, Cipher sat by, watching the small reunion. A warm smile was on his pale face. Despite the dire situation, seeing this did his heart a world of good. The family was back together again, at least for a little while.
