Music! From the black depths of space, a gigantic, saucer-like ship seemingly materializes within the Konats star system. A lone Arcosian stands with one hand clasped in the other, pressed against his lower back, gazing through the bubble-like observation screen. It wouldn't be long before the ship neared the planet Konats itself.
The trip had taken a fair amount of time, giving Taiga enough time to shower and meditate. He had decided to name the vessel, The Imperator, letting the name speak for itself. However, as lucky as he had been, the Arcosian often found himself displeased at the lack of company; soldiers such as himself. That would change, naturally, but before he went anywhere else, he needed answers.
<<Alaistair...>> Taiga attempts to contact the Devil through the mind link, closing his eyes. Konats was now already within sight; the sublight speed of The Imperator was surely impressive! <<It is time. I have arrived.>>
With that, Taiga opens his eyes once more, gazing at the planet that seemingly grew from a mere marble size to a gigantic sphere as the distance closed. He would not land the ship just yet, however...

It'd been a few days since Taiga last spoke with the Devil, announcing his finding of a ship and leaving to Konats! In those days, Alaistair had come across several things, or rather, meetings that resulted in him gaining some momentum towards the conquering of Konats. Many people were being allied with the Devil, or at the very least, become quite friendly with him. He was going to eventually get those friendly and trusting of him to work, too, with the him! However, their friendship was more than welcome, so long as they didn't try anything funky. On the surface of Konats, in Ocariin City, it'd approached night time, the temperature of the city becoming brisk like fall on Earth! Alaistair had been very lightly asleep on the couch, having gotten used to sleeping there since he'd been repeated giving his 'niece', Tekuma, his bed to sleep in these last few days! However, a voice entered Al's mind, causing him to barely open his eyes with a frown given. The Arcosian, Taiga, had just arrived apparently, having yet to land upon the Planet's surface. "Mm," Alaistair sleepily called back, "Good to see you've arrived at Konats, Taiga..."A yawn was sent out to Taiga's mind, as Alaistair did so physically! "How about you come down to the surface of the planet, now, and come visit the Capital of this planet, Ocariin? Would be able to get ya a room with working water, plumbing, heating, and electricity while you stay here on Konats!"( Taiga) (Thread PL: 213,710) (Current PL: Suppressed)

Taiga's left eye squints slightly at the manner of the Devil's response. Was he actually sending a yawn through the mental link? Brushing this aside, Taiga starts towards the control room.
<<That will not be necessary, I have no intention of taking up temporary residence on Konats.>> Taiga explains. The control room door hisses open, permitting the Arcosian to enter. Taiga presses a switch on the wall, locking the door open, and continues towards the navigational computer. Once at the console, Taiga begins entering commands and rerouting the ship's direction, setting the massive vessel to land beyond the capital city's limits. <<In fact, our discussion will likely determine how long I remain onworld. I've come for possible answers, but once I have them, or determine that we do not have what I require, I will be moving on.>>
Taiga completes the navigational changes, feeling the ship change course.
<<I am coming in to land now. My ship has sufficient accommodations for our meeting.>> Taiga lightly insists. <<If you have allies here that you believe may possess information I want to know, feel free to invite them along.>>
With that, The Imperator enters Konats' atmosphere, eventually coming down below the sparse clouds, casting a gigantic circular shadow over the land and anything it passes over. The ship quickly passes over Ocariin, slowing only as it finds itself over a wide, relatively flat area to land. Sixteen claw-like legs swing out from beneath the vessel as it descends to land; the hydraulics hiss with pressure as the ship applies it's girth to them against the ground.
Satisfied with the landing, Taiga heads towards the observation deck once more to await the Devil.

Taiga returned a statement, clarifying that he may not be on Konats for long, after gathering his answers. Alaistair got off his couch and begun walking out the room in a pair of sweatpants with pockets and a long sleeve shirt of brown color, as Taiga continued to explain where he was. Not that it really mattered, Alaistair's senses alerted him of that much, as the Arcosian's presence encroached the city limits! The Devil made his way out the roof exit next to the entrance of his room, as Taiga asked about any information and or allies that would know about anything that he should know. "Well, Taiga," Alaistair spoke up, "That's not gonna be able to fill your inquiry in one night, as that's got a dozen chapters worth to regale... However, I can say that Xylo's not in a good position with myself and much of the universe now. Has to do with a 2nd attack on Namek immediately as he was reviving. That's why I recommend the temporary room while you're here, Taiga! For now, though, I'll come meet ya out there."Alaistair's power level increased to fifty thousand immediately, a red aura flourishing as he rushed to Taiga's presence. He had his hands remaining in his pants pockets, as he encroached the energy signature of Taiga, discovering it in a rather massive ship that had looked to have just arrived! Alaistair, admittedly, got a bit twitchy at this as he thought to himself, "Damn bastard pulls this outta the rubble?! This freakin' thing looks like- No, it's fine!"The Devil landed on the cold sand below briefly, walking up to the hulking ship. He brought a hand out, calling out to Taiga with his own voice loudly, and tiresome in tone, "Taiga, I'm here! Mind letting me in?"( Taiga)

Taiga had been standing quietly on the observation deck, eyes closed and hands clasped against the small of his back, waiting patiently for the Devil to arrive. He didn't need to wait long, it seemed, as his scouter bleeped an alarm.
"...Battle rating... fifty thousand...." Taiga mutters, opening his eyes to read the scan. He looked through the observatory bubble, and could see something, or someone, approaching. Presuming the arrival to be Alaistair, Taiga heads to the central chamber, and presses a series of buttons before pressing in a large rectangular switch. High above, the central door slides open, permitting the Arcosian soldier the hover up and through the exit. He flies high enough to see the Devil standing on the ground below, and waves his right arm a single time to gain Alaistair's notice. "Through here, my friend."

Taiga's presence moved up above, Alaistair stepping back and floating up to him. He waved back, more of a salute to the Arcosian than a wave. He asked Taiga, as he was guided into the grand ship, "So Taiga, what did you find on Kanassa?"( Taiga, gonna keep it short. I'll let you guide me through! )

Taiga waits for Alaistair to reach him, and offers a formal bow, placing his left forearm against his back while placing his right hand over the center of his chest.
"My apologies for landing so far from the city, but this rather fortuitous discovery I've made is rather too large for their spaceport. Come." Taiga straightens and turns towards the gaping maw that is The Imperator's topside entrance. Taiga lands within the ship, expecting the Devil to follow suit, and leads the way to the ship's armory and equipment room. The door slide open with a hiss, permitting the two to enter. Across the room, resting on a small table and covered with glass, is the remains of the machine 'skull' he had found on Kanassa. "This is what I discovered."
Taiga presses a button, causing the glass to smoothly swing open, allowing the Arcosian to pick it up and hold it up for the Devil to inspect.
"This is a part of a machine, as you can clearly see." Taiga explains. "I do not recognize the designs, albeit damaged as this is. It does not resemble any particular technology used in the Arcosian Empire. Although, I admit, much could have changed during the time I was dead. What are your thoughts, Alaistair?"

Alaistair and Taiga walked into the ship, Taiga bringing up an apology about landing so far away from the city with his discovery, he felt , was so important! Alaistair retorted, "Oh hush about apologies! I've asked you to collect any data about the planet's population elimination. You're doing both of us a favor by sharing this information so we can plan accordingly."They ended up what looked like the ship's armory, and went toward a containment vessel of sorts. They went inside it and, on a small table, there was what looked like a skull made of mechanical parts. Taiga held it up to Alaistair for him to take. Alaistair lifted it up with one hand, stroking his beard while trying to sort his memories apart, trying to get an idea of what type of thing this is. "For one, it looks like a Android's head, if that's not obvious enough," Alaistair spoke up, verbalizing his analysis by first stating what he could figure out, "Seems like a full on synthetic individual, rather those 'androids' running around that're actually cyborgs. Seems like whatever attack this guy in particular, it was blasted apart. I'm surprised it's as intact as it is, but unless you've got a technological degree involving robotics to get into this guy's brain, we're not gonna get very far... However, there is one thing we can assume: The force that attacked Kanassa had to have cyborgs and androids in it. I imagine the site you were at had been very gruesome, where you found this guy!"( Taiga)

Taiga nods, clasping his hands together against the small of his back, standing straight and rigid. He thinks back to where he had found the scrap.
"There had been charred remains of the populace in some places, and what looked like outright vaporization's in others." Taiga tells the Devil. To Taiga, that came across as standard when dealing with races capable of utilizing Ki for war. However... "I did see what looked like more of a murder spree than a battlefield. Soldiers and civilians alike, torn to pieces. But I chose not to investigate; I could see the carnage fine from the air."
The Arcosian steps a meter or so to Alaistair's left, thinking hard.
"As for the androids, that changes certain details." Taiga surmises intelligently. "The Saiyans do not use androids, nor do they utilize cyborgs. At least, not to my knowledge. They would have preferred to attack on their own, to savor the battle. The presence of androids would sit as proof that the Saiyans weren't involved in the attack, as much as I hate to think it."
Taiga turns grimly to the Devil.
"So unless the Saiyans started building androids for invasions, this means Kanassa was attacked by another force." Taiga says darkly. "Someone saw Kanassa's vulnerability, and attacked. ...You told me that Kanassa and Arcose had been rejuvenated by some power on the planet Earth, perhaps it would have been better to let those beings stay dead if they were only going to be annihilated a second time..."
Suddenly, a thought occurs to Taiga. In Hell, that Namekian, Xylo, had told Taiga of some kind of wish granting orbs... what were they again?
"Dragon Balls..." Taiga mutters. He blinks and regards Alaistair with a calculating gaze. "In Hell, when I met you, Xylo, and the Saiyan Kizuki, the Namekian told me about something called Dragon Balls; that they can grant any wish, to some extent. It must have been those which were used to rejuvenate Kanassa and Arcose. Which means that it must have been someone from my Empire that made that wish."
After a moment of silence, Taiga finally asks one of the main questions he had for the Devil.
"What has become of the Arcosian Empire since my death?" he asks flatly.

"You don't give the SSE enough credit to their army's diversity," Alaistair retorted, putting the skull on the table after hearing Taiga's personal thoughts, "They've a surprising amount of races at their disposal. Those races are generally put in a crappy situation, Class-wise. Not that much different than Arcose."Alaistair gazed toward Taiga, to affirm the truth of that statement, before returning to his thoughts. "The people that attacked had to have an enormous number of androids and cyborgs to attack so stealthily and in enough potency to subdue the enemy threat that was in the tens of millions..."The Devil thought to himself, thinking up the possible suspects of such an attack, "They'd have had to be numbering quite high if they were able to annihilate all of those people. That puts Arcose in the picture, but considering they'd just returned with-"Taiga brought up the dragon balls that Kizuki and Xylo spoke to him about. He suspected to to be one of his empire, which had knocked out Alaistair's personal thought that Arcose had something to do with it. The Arcosian asked about his home world's state, a question Alaistair could only retort, "I sense they're alive. However, I don't know the actual status of Arcose and its people, so if you are compelled to return there, feel free to do so. However, we have to get an idea about who has such a large number of robotic warriors to attack a planet and demolish its people, so that we ourselves can prepare for them."Alaistair stroked his beard whilst partly sitting on the table next to the skull, his eyes looking at it. They had androids, too, on Kanassa, so unless they all didn't have scanners installed to them... The attack had to be swift and capable of evading their gaze, even then! "There's only one thing I can think of that'd have such a force: The Planet Earth. They've that Blue Banner Army, but from what I personally know about them, they're not the types to attack and genocide! They actually defended against the SSE, even after Vi-Poi's madness and maintained control on the planet. So that means there's another civilization out there that is capable of producing a large number of cybernetic and android individuals that had to know of Arcose and Kanassa being revived, and also know about this immensely strong person. Arcose doesn't have a lot of them, as far as I know, and the SSE I DO KNOW doesn't have a lot of them. I would've sensed them... Damn it!"Alaistair's been having this difficulty with this puzzle! Taiga listens to Alaistair's thoughts on the subject, his eyes slightly narrowing at the words 'Feel free to', taking it as a subtle passive aggressive hint; as if the Devil was hinting at some sort level of command over the Arcosian soldier. But he brushes the moment of suspicion away quickly, returning to the issue at hand.
"The Blue Banner Army... I've heard of them, but I have never been to the Earth." Taiga admits, considering the possibility. "If you already know that they are not the type to leave their world to attack others, it eliminates them by default."
Taiga picks up the mechanical skull and places it back in the container, sliding the glass lid back over it. He heads for the door, motioning to the Devil to follow, and starts towards the ship's meeting room. A single, long table is positioned in the center of the room, lined with basic but comfortable star ship seats.
"You spoke of an incredibly powerful being on Kanassa, but I found nothing..." Taiga reminds the Devil. "Regardless, I intend to find out what I can. I'll start by returning to Arcose. From there, we will see. Perhaps I will even speak with that Namekian; despite your apparent falling out, he may at least be inclined to speak with me." Alaistair

Alaistair was gestured to come outta the room with him to a different part of the ship, near by thankfully, to the armory! It was a meeting room and a large one at that! Al took a seat, as Taiga explained that he didn't find the powerful being, and then focusing on returning to Arcose, even asking Xylo about that. "I've a feeling that he may not have been paying much attention," Alaistair retort, cross his legs and looking to the Arcosian with a tone that was incredulous of the idea, "Him having been all focused on his empire and all!"Alaistair was being put through a blender, his thoughts meshing all about in an unsorted matter! He felt like it was at the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't really think about it. He was still partly sleepy, after all, and not 100%. 90%, maybe... "Augh," the Devil groaned, "This starting to become increasingly frustrating! I feel like it's right in front of me, in plain sight, and I'm looking all around it like a blind and deaf worm in soil! If I had that future daughter of mine here, or maybe one of this planet's stinkin' cybernetic people, I'd find out what it is!"He slapped both of his hands on his face, wiping them down and opening his mouth. Clearly he was having difficulty discerning the suspects! ( Taiga)

Taiga's eyes narrow, and he touches his forefinger and thumb to his chin thoughtfully. Alaistair's belief that Xylo would be completely ignorant to the issue may have some merit, but unless Taiga asked, he wouldn't know for certain. That's when the Devil speaks out his frustration. Taiga's eyes widen slightly, a thought occurring.
"Perhaps it is in front of you." Taiga says cryptically. "This world has cyborgs, you say? A world that holds no affiliation to the two galaxy-spanning empires?"
Taiga turns to face the Devil fully, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I am not an investigator by trade, nor should I pretend to be." Taiga says, a certain air of confidence coloring his words. "But I can see certain aspects. Perhaps the question to what happened to Kanassa lies on Earth; perhaps it lies here. The only way we can know for certain is to investigate the possibilities. All of them."

"Yeah, Konats has cyborgs and androids," Alaistair replied, when Taiga seemed to give him a narrow stare, before inquiring, "What're you getting at?"Taiga crossed his arms, a confident tone in his voice with a suggestion that perhaps Alaistair should focus here, instead of on Earth! Alaistair cocked an eyebrow up to his associate, with a inquisitive stare. "You're thinking that the people here on Konats that Doctor Breech had been offering cybernetics to has been..."Alaistair looked away for a moment in mid-sentence, something clicking in his head. His eyebrow remained up for a moment as he mulled over the idea. He did get to meet that man before, and he had these 2 giant machines with him that looked fairly threatening, and the population had dozens of hundreds of people people getting cybernetic implants, too! "Perhaps they're related... But you said you needed to head to Arcose, hadn't you," Alaistair finally spoke, his attention returned to Taiga, "Checking on your planet is more important. For all we know, this enemy might be aiming at restored worlds... Whatever purpose that may serve. Namek is one of those worlds, too, so it may be better to go home and check for matters. Xylo can handle that as well, but I'll send him a message. What will you do, in the meantime?"( Taiga)

Taiga thinks silently for a brief moment, closing his eyes to focus. When he opens his eyes again, he fixes a knowing look at the Devil.
"For now, my intention is indeed to go back to Arcose." Taiga tells Alaistair in an even tone. "I hope that what happened to Kanassa was not repeated there, but you will likely know quickly from me if it has."
Taiga walks around the table and stops next to the Devil. He holds up a hand to shake Alaistair's. He gives the Devil a wicked smile.
"If this Doctor Breech you mentioned is somehow involved, I would very much like to be made aware of before anything... happens." the Arcosian soldier hints.
