Purika watched as his beam hurled at supersonic speeds towards Abaddon. Then, he noticed something. Maxxie was releasing the orb she charged up for so long. But, this purple orb was not directed towards him. It was directed towards Abaddon to his surprise. She was betraying her, but he supposed they never teamed up in the first place. It was a free for all after all. Purika smirked at the sight of this. "Smart girl..." Purika would cross his arms, watching as both attacks his Abaddon at the same time.
Purika chuckled as Abaddon spewed her insult and both attacks hit at the same time, with the explosion from it sending a flash of light scattering through the area. The explosion turned some trees to ash from the heat produced, ripping apart some of the jungle. He watched as smoke emerged from the impact site, with some dirt being scattered. As the smoke cleared, he locked his eyes onto the still standing Abaddon. Purika was sure she was barely standing, though.
His theory was correct when he watched Abaddon collapsed. That was one less person down. Now, he could put his full attention on Maxxie. Purika would flash from sight before quickly reappearing on the ground a few dozen feet in front of Maxxie. "You may want to go all out against me. You were weaker than that girl." Purika's smirk would remain on his face. Purika would unfold his arms, and enter the battle stance of an elite saiyan, preparing for battle.

From those comments from Abaddon before she got knocked out, Maxxie felt a little guilty. All the female saiyan wanted for nearly the entire battle was to team up with her to beat Ika, but the human didn't listen, taking her out when she had the chance. She kept telling herself that she needed to in fear of being turned on like that herself. It would have definitely been a better plan to just risk it and take out the strongest foe however, Maxxie now figured. Oh well, the warrior realized that what was done was done. Now she had to take on the male by herself, which would be very difficult if he was able to keep launching attacks like that one from earlier that sent her hurling towards a boulder, but she at least needed to try.
Ika now stood in front of Maxxie just a few dozen feet away, suggesting that she go all out, and that was what she intended to do. There have been times when the fighter was able to unleash even more of her power than she really had, but those were times when she was beaten near to near unconsciousness. She felt crazy just by thinking that it was a good idea to get beaten around a little, but what choice did she have?
"Was I? Well, I suppose that it is luck that gives me the chance to be standing here right not, instead of laying in a crater created by my enemies," Maxxie responded to his comment. She needed to buy time since that last blast that she launched took a lot out of her. She wanted to keep the discussion going until some of her ki came back.

I suggest that Jala stays out of the official post order so that me and Purika can post back and forth. She can post, but since she is no longer in the fight, it doesn't make sense to have to wait for her post.

Purika listened to Maxxie's comment, having the same smirk on his face. "Yes, I could've taken either one of you out. If you got hit by that same attack I threw at Abaddon, it would've been a lot more painful. The ki ball I threw at Abaddon could've solely knocked her out without any assistance." Purika would stop talking after that and would think of what he would do first. He planned on landing the first strike. That's exactly what he was going to do. He would quickly fade from sight in almost an instant, before darting around the battlefield to mess with Maxxie.
He would appear in mostly all locations rather quickly, in front, behind, and sideways of Maxxie's location. He would quickly reappear behind Maxxie and would shoot his leg forward, intending to send Maxxie hurtling into the jungle. He figured she couldn't sense ki due to her inability to tell that Purika and Abaddon were stronger than her. Whether this attack hit or not, he would disappear again before reappearing in the jungle. His power level was still set to one, but it didn't matter either way. She didn't have a scouter to detect his power level either.
He would crouch on the forest floor, insects scurrying about. He used his ki to halt them from getting closer to him, he didn't want them crawling all over him, after all. He only needed a little more energy to launch a ki ball at Maxxie the same strength as the one he sent at Abaddon. He would wait, his scouter still active so he could tell Maxxie's location.

"Oh, so you are saying that I wasted my blast then? Should have launched it at you I suppose," Maxxie replied to Ika before he began to disappear and reappear all over the location. Maxxie couldn't sense ki, so she never knew where he would end up, and that was the problem. Unless she trained herself to do this, she would keep getting kicked from behind like just now. Ika's leg sent the female skipping across the ground until she ended up a few dozen meters deep into the forest. She finally stopped skipping after having hit a large tree, falling right into a sitting position. Acorns fell out of the hole in the middle of the tree, landing right on top of Maxxie's head, though she was more focused on the pain across the rest of her body.
Maxxie didn't waste any time. She stood up, watching as a few acorns fell from her head to the ground right in front of her face. She examined her setting, and soon realized that there was no way that she would beat Kal in a place like this. There were too many trees to watch an opponent that could most likely track her, and there were vines all around the floor that she could trip on if she wasn't too careful. It was for this reason that the warrior ascended into the sky, flying upwards until she was at least three dozen meters above the tallest tree.
"Come and get me you stealthy coward! Now we should be on fair ground! Actually, wait we wouldn't be on the ground, so disregard that last comment!" Maxxie shouted, her hands folded against her chest and her legs folded, as if she was sitting on the sky itself.

Purika would continue to crouch behind a bush before his scouter detected Maxxie had come to a stop. She sat in the same place for a bit, with Purika standing and darting around the area. His scouter then detected some movement, with him pausing his darting around by setting himself on a tree branch. He balanced himself by using his ki, watching as Maxxie's signature started to ascend into the air. So, she couldn't sense ki. She wouldn't have done that if she could, and she obviously wasn't wearing a scouter right now. So, she wanted to fight in the open.
Well, Purika didn't care anyways. He just wanted to make it fun and get some benefit out of this training. He peeked out of a hole in the treetops, where she was above the tallest tree in the area. Purika listened as she shouted out, barely hearing anything she said. But, he picked up on one word. 'Coward'. She was calling him a coward. That was pretty much calling him a weakling like Abaddon did, and look where that got her. Purika only start chuckling, before his body flickered from it current location before reappearing right in front of Maxxie.
He was barely a few inches away from her. Purika would show a toothy grin. "Coward?" Purika would quickly reel his right arm back, before swinging it forward right into Maxxie's gut. He had a stern look on his face while saying this. "I was trying to make it fun." Purika put enough force behind that attack to be able to send her flying. After she was sent flying, he would hold up his arm and aim it towards her. He would widen his fingers, revealing the palm of his hand. "Let's see if you can take this!"
Purika would fire quite a few crimson ki balls in rapid succession towards Maxxie's location. And then came the strong one. A larger orb of crimson ki would take form quickly before Purika fired it behind all the other ones. This one was the strongest of all, intending to put Maxxie down too.

Ika quickly appeared in front of Maxxie, repeating the word coward as a question before attempting to punch her in the gut. She flew backwards a few meters however, as he gave her enough time to evade the attack. However, she was barely ready for the barrage of ki blasts that came at her. She deflected the first five, but the other hit her chest, pushing her back with every shot until a large one came. For this one, Maxxie charged her own purple-colored ki, pointing both of her arms forward and launching her everbeam in the form of a ball of energy before the large crimson ball of energy could impact her. While it helped, what remained of Ika's attack continued after her, exploding on impact and thus sending her to the forest's floor, but not before her body hit and broke some branches on the way down.
"ugh... what just happened..." Maxxie laid with her back to the ground, looking up at the leaves covering the sky from her eyes. She felt pain all over her body, similar to when Ika sent her flying at a bolder, but she felt twice as bad. Her body definitely wasn't moving from that attack, though she was still conscious. Barely conscious however. She was trying very hard to stay awake, groaning loudly. She attempted to charge whatever ki was left in her body, but nothing would happen. She still kept at it, as she didn't want the fight to end just like that.

Purika watched as Maxxie used a purple ball of ki to stop his stronger ki ball. Purika only grinned at this, a tad bit amused. This was a very fun fight for him. Her attack only softened his attack, but not enough. It continued on pressing forward. Purika folded his arms as the attack quickly hit Maxxie and detonated on her, causing an explosion which sent wind scattering in all directions, causing Purika's hair to flow back as well as the treetops below. Birds would scatter from the area, making loud chirping noises as they fled. Purika was only focused on the spar, though.
Purika watched as the impact from the attack sent her hurtling to the ground, which he watched her go down at a fast pace. His eyes were pretty quick, which came with strength and power. He would hear the thud as she hit the ground, no birds fleeing this time as they already did from the sudden pulse of air from the explosion. Animals would scurry from the location, though. His scouter tracked her movements, as she was now invisible from Purika's naked eye. He would suppose he should get a bit closer to see if she was alright.
She wasn't dead, he knew this because her signature still showed up. But, he still wanted to see if he caused any major damage to her. That wasn't his goal, though. Purika would descend from the sky, before forming a blade of ki around his right forearm. As he got closer to the tree tops, he would cut away at the leaves in his way before he could see Maxxie with his own eyes. She was still groaning. He would eventually hover in front of her, a few inches off the ground. "Is that all you have?" Purika would grin a bit but would decide he should ask if she was alright.
He didn't want to seem like a complete jerk. This was a friendly spar after all, not a battle to the death. "Also, are you alright?" Purika couldn't see any visible damage on her right now, as she had some debris over her from the impact. |

Maxxie wasn't able to make any progress, herself still laying on the floor as Ika appeared, the saiyan hovering in front of her damaged body.
"I guess it seems that way, at the moment, but just you wait," she replied to his first question, smiling right at him while attempting to charge he ki. After a few seconds, her purple aura finally showed up around her body, but it disappeared just as fast. This made her frown.
"Yes, I will be fine, so don't worry about me and give me your best shot already!" she shouted, and started grunting continuously, hoping that this feigned anger she was now showing would be what was needed for her ki to charge back up, and that seemed to be the case. Her aura showed back up, covering a 1 meter radius this time. It was huge, and it probably even intimidated Ika, but after a few seconds Maxxie passed out from the outburst, as it seemed that she was trying to let out too much energy at once. The aura vanished along with her consciousness. The question to be asked was where this energy came from in the first place, but for now no one would know as the woman now laid in the dirt and grass, sleeping.

Exiting. Decided not to use Intense Struggle after all, as I want to save it for a plot point. Zeni please, with the 10% human bonus.

Jala woke up in the crater, her face in the dirt and flips over breathing heavily as her entire body hurts as she stumbles up and looks around. Jala then realizes that she'd been out for a small bit. She groaned in annoyance and her scouter beeped, trying to find someone. Jala was surprised and really wanted to know what the stupid scouter was made of. She stumbled up and out of the crater, turning off her scouter and collapsing in pain. Her arms were the least hurt, so she slowly crawled away, cursing in pain and in the betrayal from Maxxie and the ki ball from Purika. "God... Damn... Betraying... BITCH!" Jala yelled, panting, and sweating a storm; her entire body hurt like hell. It was horrible. She wanted to get revenge but it wasn't a top thing on her list.
OCC: Exiting thread and grabbing Zeni. I'll make the post in the threads to grade, ok?

Purika laughed under his breath as Maxxie replied to his first question. He observed her face as a smile appeared on it, her looking right into his eyes. Purika watched her also, as nothing happened for the next few seconds. Suddenly, her purple aura would appear. Purika's eyebrows would raise in curiosity, but they quickly lowered back down as her aura disappeared quickly after. He watched as she frowned, but Purika's same expression stood. "Looks like you've burned yourself out." She was apparently at her limit right now, she didn't even move yet.
Purika continued to listen as she said she'd be fine. Purika had nothing to worry about now, still hovering in the same place. She wanted him to give her his best shot, but Purika would shake his head. "That's not a good idea. Any more and you would die." But, she started grunting. Again, her ki would reappear! This time it was bigger than before. Purika would float back a bit. He was not intimidated at all, as it didn't show an increase of power on his scouter. Maybe next time she could put on a better fight. This training they had would help both of them get stronger.
Wind swirled outwards from her location, blowing his hair back a bit. Like before, it quickly died out. But, this time, she lost consciousness alongside her aura disappearing. Purika wondered, was she dead? His scouter still scanned her power level, remaining at [2,000]. If she was truly dead, it would have dropped all the way down to zero. So, he had nothing to worry about. He didn't injure her that bad so she would most likely make a full recovery. Purika would sigh. He was restraining himself at the moment, the technique he learned was truly useful.
She seemed to be resting well, so he would leave her be. Purika would float up, emerging back out of the jungle. He almost had forgotten about the other female, Abaddon. His scouter still picked her up, remaining at [2,250], meaning she wasn't dead. His scouter detected that she was moving slowly, so that meant that she would recover pretty soon. She was a saiyan, so this would give her a decent rise in power. From where he floated, he could hear her in the distance. He could only hear it partly because of how far away she was from him.
Well, it was time for him to go. That was enough training for him today. Maybe he could go sit in a nearby lake and relax. Yes, that's exactly what he was going to do. His white aura wrapped around him, before he shot backward, quickly turning so that he could see where he was going. Quickly, he would exit the area. A small and thin white tail would follow behind him as he flew. After a bit, he would reach the lake with a waterfall pouring into it. It was time for him to relax and rest from the spar that just took place.
