The cave was calming. There was nothing but the sound of water and breathing noises to keep him company. But that was just how he liked it. He didn't like big, flashy locations. He just wanted a calm cave to meditate in, that was all.
As he sat, a bright light began to shine on his face. It was the sun. The warmth, the light, it was all so great to him. The rising of the sun meant it was time to eat some pre-training grub.
This was the daily cycle for Soilderp. Get up, meditate 'til the sunrise, eat his daily meal, train, then sleep until the next morning. That was it, that was his daily life. He wasn't bored of it though. Early life was filled with orphanages and demons and other stuff he'd rather not remember.
All that time ago, he had been told, he was stolen away from his mother. He wasn't exactly sad about this, he'd never even known her. All he had was a name from that time, Faust. Who was it, and why did it burn the scar on his tail every single time he thought about it
Well... it doesn't matter that much. That was in the past, the future was now. Now it was time to eat. Today's menu, a myriad of berries with spring water on the side. Thrilling.
Now, onto that training part.
