Barely having enough time to heal up, the woman had awoken in the same ditch she dropped down on after that battle. The sky had already blossomed with the high noon sun. Wasting no time, Noxa allowed her dark aura explode; the woman was sent hurling towards her shop.
She hoped there were no customers waiting for her now; she’d hate to have to tell them of her urgent need for relocation.

The hybrid paused as she sewed the patch onto her new, blue jacket. She had sensed the shift in ki, the powerful signatures, witnessed the battle that could only be deemed legendary in her mind. She hadn’t seen the attacks, heard the words spoken, or even known the faces of the monsters that had matched and surpassed the one she’d chosen to follow. She had felt the ki signatures get erased, as weak souls were destroyed nigh instantly. A single, gleaming drop fell from the woman’s chin onto the patch she was sewing. Emblazoned on a white cloth circle was a huge ‘N’, sewn onto the shoulder of the heavy jacket the woman had purchased earlier that day. Tying off the final stitch, the woman snapped the heavy thread and slid the jacket onto her shoulders. Did I make the right choice? I have my own path to follow; I have to see this to the end, Tomoyo. You won’t be forgotten.
When Noxa’s presence neared her shop, the young woman stepped out of the shadows, drawing the jacket she now wore further onto her shoulders. Looking towards the monstrous woman, the young hybrid took note of the woman’s injuries and weaker ki signature. The fight was clearly rough on her. “I have a senzu I can give you, Noxa.” Reaching into her pocket, Tulip closed her hand around the capsule she kept there. Waiting for Noxa’s response, the woman’s emerald gaze fell on the taller, more powerful woman.

The term 'flying' in applied to more than just how Noxa arrived from where she crash landed. It also applied to the haste in which she entered her own home. Hardly giving the girl a glance, Noxa's exhasperated words strung "I don't have time for vegetables." She said.
Promptly, Noxa slowed the flow of time. A water-down version of the technique Tulip had previously seen. The girl would be treated to watching Noxa move as though someone had pressed fast forward on a DVD. She flung the doors to her garage opened and made her way upstairs.
Moments later the breaking of windows would be heard, and Tulip — if she looked up in time — would see heavy bags of dog food being hurled through them, fated to land across the city somewhere. Maybe through the window of a sky scraper.
It was clear the woman was pressed for time.
"COME HELP ME PACK!" Her voice carried down, "And be quick about it!"

Pulling her hand from her pocket, the young woman began moving through the downstairs, shoving belongings into the bag as quickly as she could. She took note of the technique when Noxa used it. There’s the time-altering skill...how does one actually grasp it? Is it enhancing one’s speed and mental functions to enable faster motion? Or is it an actual reality-altering technique? How much strength does that require?? Sliding the bags to the garage doors, Tulip jogged up the stairs to face Noxa. Immediately starting in on packing the other stuff, the young hybrid spoke loudly and hoped the powerful woman would understand her speech in her fast state. “Should I judge by your haste that something bad has occurred? Does this mean the Noxa Force isn’t being created?” Stuffing a book into one of the bags, Tulip turned towards Noxa to await the reply.

"Maybe." Noxa said, as the girl managed to get to her floor.
By the time Tulip had reached her Noxa was already standing atop of a suit case, jumping up and down as she attempted to compress the stacks of clothing to a volume that would allow the suitcase to be closed.
They were all hats.
"You need to haste your pace." Noxa criticized, sounding bitcher than usual. "Why don't you just slow time? Help me get all this done faster. That way I can answer more questions"

“I don’t understand the technique.” The young woman answered honestly. She continued stuffing items into the containers she found on hand. Pulling out four of the extra capsules she had received, the hybrid arranged the pile of containers she had and sealed them within one capsule. Tossing it towards the leader of their group, Tulip turned towards Noxa and asked firmly. “Is the Noxa Force ending due to the battle you were in? I can understand your desire to run, after sensing the powers you were up against out there. No one wants to fight something like that, even if the stakes were entirely your fault.” Pausing, Tulip bit her lip and then spoke softly. “Even if you killed those people in rage, I won’t fault you for it. If you need a ship to escape the planet, I have the spacepod that’s equipped to your standard. My only request...is to know the secret of the technique you’re using so easily currently.” Tulip forced her voice out towards the end. Her arms trembled slightly, fully aware of the negative effects her comments could have on Noxa...and the possibly fatal aftermath that would have on her own existence.

"I am NOT running away!" Noxa exclaimed, tossing out a strand of hair towards Tulip, causing its heart-shaped tip to tap multiple times against the girl's nose in an annoying, yet defiant way.
"I am..." There was a pause, "Tactically retreating."
Noxa huffed, pulling her 'hair tentacles' closer to herself as she continued to labor on the suitcase at hand.
"That said, I won't be working on the Noxa Force because the one person I didn't screen ended up being the one who screwed me. I'm many flavors right now, salty, spicy, sour; none of which go well with running a military unit."
"Also, uhh... Yeah, I'll teach you time stop. It isn't that hard to learn the concept of it, just mastering it; and that'll be something you'll need to do on your own, really. Well, it's simply. You stop breathing, and let your ki build up around your organs. Send them into overdrive, and you'll increase the effect of any adrenaline running through you. For a little bit of time you'll be acting like the universe stopped. Which, I think might be the case if, at that point, you start focusing your ki outwards. But I haven't tried it enough to be able to give you a solid answer on that."
With that said, Noxa reached under her bed and pulled out a series of colorful missile-shaped objects of various sizes and shapes, before tossing those in a suitcase too.

The young hybrid leaned back in shock in response to Noxa’s hair suddenly shooting towards her. When the hair only tapped her nose, Tulip’s eyes slowly opened. The hybrid only nodded at the mention of a tactical retreat. So, running from something strong After the declaration about the Noxa Force, Tulip’s gaze dropped. Of course...something would get in the way of this. Well, whatever. Her gaze came back up in time to hear Noxa begin explaining her version of slowing time. Tulip nodded as Noxa explained every part of the technique. Though a few parts were less than clear, like building ki around her organs, Tulip closed her eyes and focused. The air around the woman rippled, as Tulip summoned up all the energy she could muster. Taking a deep breath, Tulip stopped breathing. Forcing the ki she had built up within, the woman tried to tap into the adrenaline that coursed through her in every battle. Slowly opening her eyes, Tulip realized that the world around her had slowed to a crawl. Not perfect...but I’ll work on it. Letting her breath out, time returned with a vengeance to the woman, causing a pang to shoot through her head. “Ow...you didn’t mention that leaving your eyes and senses open to the shift back in time was painful. Is that something that goes away with time?” The young hybrid went back to tossing stuff into cases, trying to keep up with the leader she hadn’t had a chance to serve under.

"Well," The Bio said, "No. You shouldn't be hurting... I didn't, but it might be something to do with power difference. Maybe as you get stronger it'll be easier for you."
The woman went about to collect the capsules prepared for her, "Now then, if you're interested in following up with this 'Noxa Force' ordeal meet me in Arcose in about a week."

Tulip listened to Noxa in silence, until she had finished speaking. Nodding once, the hybrid turned to leave. “Understood, commander. If our paths cross again, I’ll be honored to serve alongside you.” Sprinting to the open window, Tulip launched herself through it into the air beyond. She began flying away, not looking back. Farewell, Noxa. I’ll carry this technique in my heart and forge along to greater strengths. Exit Thread, Zeni w/ Hybrid bonus, pls

There came a wrapping tapping sound at the door, it was bare knuckles against soft wood 'THUMP' 'THUMP' 'THUMP'. The door bulged under the weight "BBA! Open up!" and the door creaked open under groaning hinges when the door finally was flung open all of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon in the middle of the doorway. And he said-
"Hi!" he wore loose fitting shirt with even looser pants, they were marked with horizontal stripes thick bands of black on white and a cap in the same pattern, and even odder a chain and ball tied around one foot. He was in the most obvious escaped from prison get up it was ridiculous, all he needed now was a pickaxe and dirty shovel. "You miss me, of course you did."
He moved inside looking about the room with apathetic interest "Roadtrip?" he remarked on all the cases and mounds of clothes, either that or she was having the worst garage sale ever. "Anyway, I got in a bit of trouble with the BBA. Something about a bomb threat and a bank robbery, but I promised I wouldn't do it again." he placed his hand over his forehead in a mock salute. "Scouts honor."
"But no serious, what's all this about?" he flipped the ball on the chain onto his foot with a shudder of chain, he held it there a moment on the point of his boot before tapping, bouncing it up and down like some oversized soccer ball, up and down it went, up, down. "Yeah, I sensed something going down. Also horned and in command is on earth." he let the ball and chain fall by his side with a 'thunk' the floor sagged under its weight.

[Sorry for the late reply, I didn't notice this pop up in my Notifications.] A tattered suit of white and black draped across the overall unenthusiastic man. Large chains and balls drew long across his legs, the balls bounced and tapped against each other. He hadn't lacked the Pickaxe unlike Mammon, he found it to be a good reminder of why to never go through with one of Mammon's plans. Though it seemed that had already fallen through since he had followed the man this far.
Dantalion's form hovered behind Mammon, his eight-foot stature obscuring his face behind the wall above the door. He lowered a hand as Mammon made a bombastic appearance. With the hand lowered he gave a small wave his jawline reflecting an awkward smile as Mammon shifted in with ease. Dantalion however not so much. With a heavy crash his body fell to the ground, laying on the side as slowly he pulled himself in, his two hands pressing the inside of the wall as he slowly slid in, a deep imprint left in its wake. A frown contracting across his skull he let loose a rattle, followed by a sigh, his jaw unmoved as he spoke, simply handing ajar in the wind. "Sorry 'bout that. Don't do well in small places." he said as he finally got through the door with what he made out to be herculean efforts.
Slowly he rose, but not by much, a few thorns pricking in the roof as he watched the woman Mammon had simply insisted the duo meet rushing around faster than a rabbit on crack. With very little patience he turned to Mammon, his head cocked to the side as a glare that simply said, WTF stared daggers at him. First a Heist, now the drug trade... Wonderful. He said as twisted his gaze back to straight towards the woman, "So then... Ummm... Going on Vacation?" he questioned, his arms raised as he clearly felt uncomfortable being in what he seriously considered to be a crack den.

As the door came down Mammon was treated to the sight of Noxa’s hair, forming long strands that formed feet-wide circles above her — like concentric halos. Hanging from the halos above one would see intimate pieces of clothing — all of which had tags and other store markings on them. They had been purchased — or, perhaps stolen — but certainly never worn.
Noxa, now staring at the beaten-down door like a deer caught in the headlights, had just moments ago been glaring at the bras & panties, wondering why on Earth she had bothered purchasing them in the first place. She didn’t wear clothes — she certainly didn’t have anyone to put a show on for.
Now, however, a frown began to ensnare her features. A very displeased glare was show towards both of the infernal oafs. From fear to annoyance she had gone, and so began to scowl them:
“Don’t do that again!” She hissed, though she didn’t specify on what that ‘again’ was.
The scarlet tendrils flickered towards the window, sending the clothes through them as Noxa turned away from the two demons, leaning over a cupboard as she began to rifle through its drawer’s contents.
“I’m leaving Earth.” Came the words in a very abrupt fashion, “I just had to fight off ViPoi, some gray-haired human, Zucceta, Celmaru —” The more she spoke the more riled up the woman seemed to get. This was reflected both in the speed of which her words were recited, but also in the increasingly sharp movements the snake-like appendages of her hair carried out.
One exasperated sigh later and Noxa reached in and retrieved a bundle of papers, looking back at the two demons. “And Rafar — the ONE NOXA Force applicant I didn’t screen decided to betray me. Alongside that flea-ridden dog.” These final words were spat venomously.
“I guess for this moment none of that matters.” The note in her voice was strange; the malice had evaporated, but behind was left a distinctly inert quality — it was flat; it was drained. It seemed the woman was too tired from the events that happened only a handful of hours ago to even have the energy to sustain a state of anger.
“You two.” She noted, moving back to the briefcase she had been stuffing things into, “Help me pack. I promise I’ll give you some useful stuff.” Over her shoulders a glance was cast, “Did you manage to catch my conversation with Tulip just moments ago? My instructions on how to move within stopped time?”
There was a brief pause, although it was too minor to give either of them a chance to reply. Noxa turned around, sitting on the bed and crossing her legs, "I'll repeat it again, just in case. Use this technique to help me search all the nooks and crannies of this place." She said, "I don't want to leave something important behind because of an oversight, so two extra pairs of eyes, hands, and horns will really do the trick. Especially if the move faster than you can blink."
Noxa cleared her throat, spreading her legs as to give herself room to lean over and support herself — elbows digging into her knees as her hands clasped.
"To stop time you have to focus inward first; before you can stop time you have to prepare yourself. Otherwise, your own ability to think and move will have stopped, meaning you'll spend the energy, feel exhausted, and not realized that the moment passed you by. Pull your ki from your extremities and wrap them around your vital organs — namely the brain and heart. Engorge them in energy and push them past their limits. Then, hold your breath. Your system will flood with adrenaline, that will heighten your perception of time — make y ou react faster. Then, as fast as you can, move your ki out as far as possible; let it shoot out haphazardly." There was a pause, as Noxa realized she forgot to mention that last bit of insight to Tulip, and it might've explained the 'headache' that the girl complained about.
"Anyway," Noxa noted, "Once the energy finished building you should notice that everything else is at a standstill. You'll have stopped time. Go ahead and use that technique to help me search."
As if right on queue, Noxa's own figure 'pop'ed out of sight; the woman having used Time Stop to look about and likely having been in another section of the house by the time it wore off.

"Fwoo.." he let out a low whistle, fighting Lady death and the Administrator how was she alive, better question should he really be associating himself with her, friends turn into accomplices quick enough and accomplices turn to dying even quicker. "ooo. You don't pick them small do you cap'n. Who did you kill to earn their attention? Nothing short of a massacre could gather EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES." he cuffed his hand's around his mouth and said in a loud booming, as if introducing a league of superheroes.
'And Rafar — BETRAYED me' ah, the seeds of treachery rear its ugly head, time to step up and fill a much need position. "Never liked Rafar, he seemed like the type to get those-" he turned to Dantalion, waving his hand imploring him to help find the word, he found it before his friend could help. "-moral quandaries, a terrible thing they are."
"So we're leaving? Dantalion, always wanted to be an astronaut when he was older, isn't that right Dan?" he didn't give him enough time to answer."That's right. And you want us to help you pack, we'd never turn down our beloved captain in a time of suitcase dispair. Dan, get packing." he made a knife appear between his hand as if he plucked from thin air, he began cleaning his nails with the disinterested look of someone about to watch another person do hard work, while he did nothing. "And you want us to defy time, that thing that makes fools of us all? You want us to just stop it just like-" and he clicked his finger's togeather emphasizing his point when she had disappeared and reappeared like a magician doing the old disappearing alimony check trick. "that. Woah, okay. And here I thought you were pulling my horn."
--- And he stopped, time didn't. It wasn't working no matter how long he paused or let his Ki, flow through his limbs like a blanket of oil it wouldn't stop. He breathed in he breathed out, he bulked up and he bulked down. He pulled at the demonic energies and it did nothing. "It's not working-" he said in a petulant whine that would make any child primadonna proud. "Why won't it work!" boy does time fly when you're having fun.
"What the hell does inward mean? Do I think about who I am, do I think about history, blood. What!?" he tried again, it failed again. "I want it!" he was losing the veneer of charisma the veil had been broken, no dark seducer more wild beat. His lips were drawn up displaying his teeth in a rictus of an animal snarl. He was a creature of pure magic, power even and this simple technique a mere earthling before him could learn. He wasn't very happy.

Dantalion was about to respond to Mammon, only for the resonation of a click to silence him. His jawline spread into a frown, Great. Now he is an even bigger asshole. Wonderful. He thought to himself before hearing Noxa ask for help. The thought of saying no lasted all of a few seconds, considering who she had fought he doubted it would be a good idea to get on her bad side. Even if she seemed tired and drained the fact she was moving faster than he could contemplate brought the idea to a halt instantly. Then Mammon babbled on about being an Astronaut. Another foreign word spoken from this culture, he had only just learned that an East was a Direction and not just a galaxy and now he had to learn what an Astronaut was.
It didn't take Mammon telling him to pack to do so, he was busy pulling out Drawers and filling up suitcases with the contents, a residual feeling of envy washed over him, primal, innate and overwhelming. She had all this clothing to pack, yet here he stood, with a bedsheet tightly wrapped around his neck to cover his form. Here she sat with a house of her own, talking about stopping time. Yet he could barely manage to count the minutes in a house he had... Inherited to say for lack of a better word. Green Ki flared across his body, long strands cutting around his body as he tried to press down the buttons on the suitcase. Yet another invention of a foreign group. The clicking and clacking of a mystified Dantalioin as her explanation finally wrapped up he had managed one suitcase filled with socks, a bulge pressing in the center as the darned machine struggled to hold in the mass of contents.
Then he recalled her technique, Wrap my brain and heart in Ki.... the idea made sense about as much as stopping time itself, as in it made no sense. He couldn't even locate his heart or brain, it was easy for Mammon sure, there were whole classes about biology and his makeup was similar enough to Human that he could pass for one, with the exception of the towering horns that crowned his head. Dantalion wasn't ever even sure if he had organs, and if he did if they consistently stayed in the same spot. But never the less he tried for a few fleeting minutes, spending the time packing another suitcase up with what looked to be shirts with the arms cut off, "Such a strange culture." he whispered looking one of them up and down before plopping it into a suitcase before remembering something he learnt in the Diablo Desert. Those strange button machines that could form refrigerators. Surely she could have put them in one of those things, they had plenty of room yet took up so little. His jaw rumbled, a violent shaking before unhinging at the seems, unmoved as he spoke, "Don't you have any of those small Capsule things? Or are these strange containers also Capsules?" he inquired, as a resounding click echoed about before finally resigning to the technique there was no point in trying anymore if he couldn't manage the technique it was as simple as that. Though it seemed Mammon had a harder time accepting the fact of life. Maybe demons couldn't learn the technique or they hadn't tried hard enough. Dantalion knew he didn't try too hard.
