Gira PL: 3000
Gira had been at her secluded training spot for an hour; a wide expanse of plains twenty miles north of West Capitol. Today wasn't supposed to be very intense training. A normal workout regimen followed by accuracy training. Last week, she missed a criminal's getaway vehicle with her Watcher Cannon. He got away. She was going to train hard so that next time, she wouldn't miss. With a deep breath, Gira began.
She thrust one palm out towards a makeshift training dummy made from a basketball and sticks wearing her old clothing. As she thrust her palm out, a small, yellow ball of ki burst from it and whizzed right past the dummy's head, striking a rock formation and leaving a rather sizable hole. Gira winced. "Crap." She grumbled and moved a couple of feet closer. "Okay, okay. You got this. Just gotta stay calm. That's what happened last time. Don't concern yourself so much with missing your target and instead concern yourself with..."
She repeated the earlier motion and this time, she struck the dummy in the chest, reducing it to a pile of ash and debris with a small explosion. "...striking your target." She grinned, proud of herself. "Okay. Again." With another deep breath, she turned towards the dozen or so dummies she set up at carying distances. Some were behind cover, some were not, and some she marked as "innocents."
After that warmup, her goal was to "kill" the enemies and keep the "hostages" unharmed. Gira closed her eyes and breathed deeply, gathering herself. Then, without warning, she clicked the stopwatch she had in-hand and lunged forward and punched the head of one of the dummies clean off, "saving" the hostage. She smirked with satisfaction before aiming a blast at another dummy, blowing it up. Gira continued jumping and running around the field, kicking dummies in half and blowing some to cinders. Once it was over, she clicked her stopwatch again and looked at her time.
That was eight enemies down with only one casualty. All of this was done in less than a minute. 30 seconds to be exact. Gira cheered in celebration. She had shattered her best time; fifty seconds. She would have to remember to treat herself to a smoothie and a cheeseburger on the way home.
