The most recent few weeks had been difficult for the young demon. His inability to control his Makyan form completely had been visible from the fact that he was currently a fourty to sixty foot dragon slithering through the water and riding the water with his massive head barely staying above the water to take in deep and wide breaths of the oxygen. His demon blood circulating under the Mayko Star which gave him his temporary formation, and in the southern islands, he wasn't likely to be seen, until he was able to finally able to control his flight through his magic. His demon powers were out of wack, and his little magical familiar was holding onto dear life on Jiao's massive horn while waves splashed and crashed towards the shores, engulfing the beaches with the force from Jiao's large body. Little tsunamis would take over the beaches and take in the civilians at play, large black and dark blue colored scales would coil in and out of the water like the Lock Ness monster, taking breaths and talking with his only friend, the small translucent blue dragon.
"Hey..." Taking in a breath and going back under, before resurfacing. "Did you hear anything about demons nearby?"
"No Jiao, not at-" Gurgling would occur afterwards as he would dive again, before resurfacing and staying in one place as to not anger the familiar.
Power Level: 89,528 - (Assuming that Makyo Star is in effect.) The illumination of the Makyo star had come into play for who know's how long, celestial events were something Dantalion never really followed. With his new found power invincibility felt like it was a part of his very core, his every motion was an uncontrolled turbine of power, with even a breath he felt like he could topple entire empires. Though he had no intention of painting a target on his back, he couldn't go around causing mass panic and hysteria, it would only bring in the defenders to come and crush him beneath their heel. No, in the meantime he had taken to exploration, Mammon might have been busy making allies, but Dantalion still had no clue about the scenery of this planet, or even of any of the majesties that it held behind a veil of dirt, sand and snow.
He had taken to the southern Islands, his form shifting with pulsations of Ki as he propelled himself through the skies, hanging but a slight hover above the dancing seas below. He drew his hand through it below, he recognized it as melted snow, though the salty tang left a sour taste in his mouth. Garnet illumination flared from his eyes sockets, the wind pulling at his Black bed sheet he had loosely called a cloak as he darted along, up and down as he stared down at the masses of creatures that hovered only a few inches below himself. In truth, while his course may have said Southern Islands, the truth has he had no idea where he was going, the sea stretched onwards as far as the eye could see, like the Snow of the Yunzabit Mountains or the Deserts of Diablo. "This planet... Really likes to stretch out its scenery..." he mumbled, mistaking the vast amounts of similarity as if it was some sort of stylistic choice rather than mother nature's will.
He flew through the ever expanding mass for what seemed for an eternity, if the eternity was stretched out with a combination of boredom of grandness. In front of him, nothing happened, with the exception of the stray cretin pouncing out of the water, only to dart back into the sea escaping his sight as quickly they were engulfed by the darkness of the sea. But below him, the creatures that dared to swim beneath him were visible, their scales shining on the little light that caught them, whether groups of fish swinging with unanimous strides or lonesome sharks, prowling along the water's edge in hopes of an easy meal, whether raised through death, or soon to be caught in death's teeth. Then came a wave, his sight glazed over for a bit, as a wash of sea approached with startling speeds.
"Oh, they have mirages here too... How qu-" he was quickly pushed down under the titanic wave, his body shuffling int he water as schools of fish quickly darted across, the pulsations of green Ki passing through his veins illuminating him as he shook back and forth, quickly ascending upwards into the skies as his head began to dart back and forth, his cloak hanging heavily on his body as he took notice of the massive beast swaying through the sea. "Oh... Son of a..." He groaned, quickly watching as the beast ascended with some sort of smaller variant straddled onto their back, only to come crashing down with a torrent of sea upheaving itself into long waves straddling along the ocean.
Quickly Dantalion darted down, his fingers curling as he quickly rushed them, a black mass with garnet illumination with the Makyo star glaring behind him as he darted towards them, "Oi, damn, why the hell did ya go and get me all soaking wet!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. His cloak tightly gripped around his form, Damnit, I don't have any other clothes and can't see land for miles. He thought to himself, the concept of a Skull faced figure, black cloak flapping in the wind and the Makyo Star bearing behind him forgotten as he wanted to get answers for what Mammon would aptly call, A bit of a dick move. @jiao-Lan Lü
Way up in sky was a large creature soaring through the air. It would look like a black dot in the baby blue southern skies for a brief moment before it started to rapidly descend. As it plummeted closer into view, it became evident that it wasn't a normal creature. It was a chimeran like beast. With the body of a cat covered in feathers, talons like a hawk and wings large enough to permit the 20-30 foot beast flight.
The closer the monster got, the more details became visible, eventually revealing a large man on the back of the beast. He was almost as strange looking as the beast itself. He wore a red luchador mask with a white star on the face. His body was a mix of fat and muscle, though at the moment most of it was mostly covered by a brown and red poncho. The pair would keep descending in a controlled fall until they were actually scraping across the water.
It just so happened that this would lead right over the top of another strange duo. Big Train wasn't actively scanning for power levels and was unaware of either of the nearby large power levels. Arco also hadn't noticed the dragon demon surfacing and four briefly collided. However it could probably be called more of a bump than a collision. Arco managed to recover just before plopping into the ocean.
The two hovered in the air above the water, "What was that, Arco?" Big Train would ask as he looked around just in time to catch a demonic black figure rush down at something in the water and scream out something. Confusion would cause Big Train not to act, instead trying to process what was happening before he rushed into action. All he knew was that this being's power level was pretty damn high! It would take him but a moment to process the power level that lied just in the waters below. It was also impressive! Regardless, Big Train wouldn't immediately remember Dantalion due to the makyo power coursing through him, however he might recognize Big Train.
Lu wasn't apparently having to good of a day it would seem, as two people would g down near him it seemed, one being closer and clearly emitting Makyan Power. It was another Demon! This filled Lu with both happiness, and fear as he was currently not happy with the dragon. The dragon would coil around, spinning the lower part of his body to stay afloat and his head stationary as he looked over at the other Demon. Small ripples would appear inside the blue ocean from his coiling, and the scales would gleam in the sunlight as the other fish swam away. Jiao-Lan would begin to speak, before noticing he was not speaking the common language, but his family's demon tongue, and quickly went back to the normal language spoken on Earth, and would start to explain himself to the person he accidentally soaked with one of his waves.
"I am sorry! I did not notice you there. It is difficult to get around when you are a sixty foot lizard and can't fly, not to mention the amount of people asking me for wishes... I don't even understand where that came from?" His deep, Shenron like voice would explode from his mouth, louder then he would expect, before he would telepathically send a message over to the visible human. "Who are you? You look like you are a defender. Are you one of Earth's defenders?" He was unsure as to what the human was up to, but he was able to fly, which meant he had to be trained. His poncho confused Jiao-Lan, his young child brain not having seen clothes besides royal demon robes such as his own, and when his familiar would climb from hanging onto his horn, it would go towards the wide snout of the dragon and look the other demon up and down before giving his own ten cents onto the people they were meeting.
So, you are another demon it seems. What family, or were you a common demon? It is difficult to keep track of when many of the demon clans are dying off from killing each other. Though, judging from your form, you aren't from our neck of the demon realm" The tiny blue dragon would say, placing his hand on his chin and rubbing his two whiskers. It's snarky and rhetorical speaking being both offensive and questioning.
OOC: Btw, forgot to place the correct photograph, but this is a better view of what Jiao-Lan Lu looks like. Basically a blue shenron, but not as large.
"Wishes? Couldn't tell yah. Only been here for about a month." he responded, pushed aback by the sheer force of the words echoed by the massive behemoth. Quickly he regained his posture, stiffening as he darted a few centimeters back. Quickly he snapped back as he heard the Dragon's words echo and resound around his cranium. Quickly he turned back and fourth, this was the first time he had encountered Telepathy here, taking a few moments before registering that it was telepathy and not an incoming stranger. Though with his darts and turns, he noticed what he could only describe as incoming traffic. Red Mask? A star? Can't... quite put my finger on it... He thought to himself, unaware if the Telepathy was a two-way street.
Then his attention drew to the smaller creature attached to the dragons back, speaking of great intrigue about the demon realm. His attention drew for a second, scanning the length of the dragon before raising a digit. "Umm... Excuse me for a second." he responded, quickly darting down and into the sea as he followed the scaly form of the dragon. The Dragon spoke of another demon, and even stranger still great detail of the Demon Realm, though he himself had never heard of Demon Clans, it wouldn't be surprising, he was born in the abyss, deep away from the confines of the major demon population's grasps. He scaled along with lightening speeds, creating short-lived pockets of air as he quickly charged headlong. Following the length of the creature to the end he quickly arose, his clothing dripping with salty water and weighing himself down.
"Ahh... No... No, I ain't a part of a Demon Clan. I ain't a part of... Anything really. No family to call my own. I was born in the darker confines of the Demon Realm. Ya knows, where all Demon's of emotions are born." He responded, the thoughts came rushing back to him, he remembered watching from afar the trifles of the Demon Clans, it was along suppressed the memory. No influential clan ever took one of his kind. They took the one's born of malice, power. Envy was an all too commonly forgotten demon, their envious nature made them risky companions, normally doomed to die within the first couple years of their lives. He himself was still a part of that cycle, it is said that for every thirty Envy Demon's only one will manage to make it past their first year of life. He considered himself as lucky, his watching of the Clans expanded his grasp quickly enough that he hadn't become reckless in his pursuit. Though the gnawing would ever chew at his mind.
"But... Um, I have to ask... How does a Dragon know so much about the Demon Realm? Do you...." He paused fora second his hand rising up to his cowl as he quickly shifted it off, letting his face come into full shape, long Horns curved backwards, his features sharp as they slowly twisted and morphed like elastic, "Have you been to the Demon Realm? Do you know how to return?" he inquired, slowly moving closer, the eye sockets shifting into diagonal slits as he stared down the beast, if he could return to the Demon Realm, then he and Mammon would have a marginally better place to start skirmishing against Earth. @jiao-Lan Lü | @big Train
Arco and Big Train stayed hovering above the ocean, the mythical beast’s wings flapped in heavy motions. They still lied a few dozen feet across from the two demons. Then he heard a voice call out in his head, asking him a question. What an uncomfortable feeling that was. He figured it was coming from the dragon since the other demon was speaking audibly.
“I’m the Big Train, baby! And well… yeah, I guess I am a defender of Earth. I’m still kinda new at it” he ended with a chuckle. His voice came out in a yell, though he wasn’t yelling, it was just the natural tone of his voice. Big Train then watched the two demons exchange words, their words made Big Train a little uneasy.
So far, most demons he met were bad guys, but he didn’t want to be racist and assume anything about these folks. Dantalion then ascended the length of the long Dragon Demon in order to talk to the Dragon’s little friend. These three didn’t seem like bad people. In fact the smaller demon, Dantalion was very relatable to the Big Train. Big Train also had no family, bouncing from orphanage to orphanage, basically unwanted.
But there was something about Dantalion. Big Train couldn’t quite place it, Dantalion looked awfully familiar to him, as if he had met him before. Though Big Train and Arco felt like a third (and fourth) wheel, the pair slowly advanced closer in hopes of continuing a conversation. It isn’t everyday that you meet a dragon and a demon and Big Train was always down to make new friends. He had a child like naivety like that. "So what are you guys up to?" he would ask them innocently.
"No family... That must be depressing. I can understand slightly, but to be one of the lower ranks..." The deep voice would say, the mouth of the massive dragon opening but not moving afterwords, the words coming out as if thunder was speaking to them. "As for how I know, I am a demon as well. I am of the royal Lu family, the dragon family of Makai. I am trying to gather enough magic to get back, but I am not sure if I will ever be fully able to do it" his voice would say, the smaller dragon pouting and crawling the snout of the massive blue dragon that was Lu. He would face the masked man, the defender of earth, and quickly continue why he had asked.
"Ever since my grave sin, I have been wishing to find some way to help people. May I call upon you later... 'Big Train', you definitely seem like the kind of man to help me continue my wishes of helping this planet survive anything that my people may cause."
"Can't be depressed about something ya never really had," he responded, ignoring the comment of Lower Rank, it seemed there was a lot more about the Demon Realm then what he knew, or he was simply born in another area, it was a massive expanse and to encounter another Demon of the same corner was gargantuan in chance of not happening. Though the last comment caused his brain to start ticking, Demon.... the words ran through his head as he took another look up and down. It was unlikely there was a whole clan of Demon Dragon's but demons came in all shapes and sizes, though not often would he have thought a Dragon to be amongst their ranks. He paused for a bit, his head cocking to the side as he heard the sentence, Dragon family of Makai. The thought rolled in his head as his mouth unhinged a bit, a quizzical expression warping his face as he didn't even consider what the dragon had achieved to be an alternate form. "Um. Are you entirely sure you are a Demon? I mean, the Dragon Family doesn't sound familiar.... And you do look a great deal like a dragon rather than a demon." He responded with a chuckle, he wasn't here to attest their claims but was at least curious as to what made the dragon a demon.
He was about to continue his sentence when Lucha Libre el Homeadora popped into the fray, his booming voice quickly turning Dantalion's glare as he struggled to figure out where he had seen the man before. With a scratch on the underside of his chin, he decided to engage in some banter, hoping it would help him realize where he had seen the man before. "Oh, you know. Demon stuff I suppose. And Dragon stuff..." he paused for a second turning back simply to clarify that a whole clan of Dragons had been mistaking themselves for Demon's, "I am sorry to bring this up but are you sure you aren't just a clan of Dragon's that live in the Demon World." he inquired, the chuckle vanishing as he debated in his mind what made a demon and what made a dragon. Arco and Big Train hovered in closer as the giant dragon spoke. Big Train would have to agree with Jiao-Lan. From his experience, it definitely was a downer having no family, no one to come home to, no one to turn to when you needed help or advice. It probably contributed to his crippling shyness, or at least contributed to it. However, it seems like Dantalion would shake the notion off quite easily. Though perhaps he was disguising how he really felt, there was no real way to know.
All Big Train knew was that demons weren't all too different from humans or aliens. The friggin' Kami is a demon after all. So they can't be all that bad... right? Then as if answering his question, the dragon demon called out to him. Big Train didn't know an ass from an elbow when it came to magic, so that passed right over his head. But It seems like he wanted to help protect the planet, admireable.
"Sure man, I'm here to help" he replied with a warm grin. "If you really want to protect the world, and more, you could always see about joining the Galactic Patrol" Big Train would shift his weighted poncho off to the side a bit, just enough to show off the Galactic Patrol symbol on his breast. "They're good people, strong too". Then Dantalion cut back into the banter, talking more about things that Big Train had no clue about. Though it would probably help to learn about demons. Especially since they seem to be so common now-a-days. So he would just sit back and listen.
Lu looked at the other demon, actually wondering what he had said himself as he thought about it, and started holding in his magical energy. Forcing his power within himself and visibly glowing, before his form would seem to slowly be disintegrating before only the form of a young boy, barely ten years of age. This was mainly to cause him to show off his humanoid form, as to not confuse his currently new friends with the normal dragons he had heard so much about, but also to try and contain his Makyan power. He disliked his dragon form, rather being the small child he was, and not giving some kind of fake vibe of power.
"Sorry to confuse you. While it would be cool to be a dragon all the time, it isn't something that happens very often" His voice would say, swimming in the ocean while pushing down his Qipao. His little horns expelled from his head gleaming in the summer sun, showing their translucent nature. The small, purple eyed child would look up at Big Train, listening to his speech of the Galactic Patrol. What was it? He couldn't tell, but judging from it's name, they must be some sort of police force for the galaxy. It seemed interesting to be entirely honest, and he planned to 'interrogate' him later about the group. "That sounds really cool! They must be super strong!" His cheeky and childish voice would perk, smiling vividly.
Well, shape shifting wasn't an inherently Demon thing to do and he could very well still be a Dragon in disguise he felt no need to push forward the notion any further. Instead he simply gave a shrug, his jaw unhinging and lowering as a faint whisper of air traced along through the holes, "Fair enough I suppose." he responded to the shifting from massive lumbering Dragon to small frail child. Then the tone of the conversation changed rapidly, straight to defending the Earth. It was still a stupid name for a group as far as he was concerned.
He slowly shifted backwards, letting the Luchadore take control of the conversation, it wasn't strange to see a demon who wanted to help others, at least in this world. It seemed that every second demon had that same intention of save the world and break the barriers of the Demon Stereotype. Dantalion didn't fall into this group but decided to listen in to the conversation evolving between the two of them. It would give him some insight to their motives and what drove the group onward. And with information being his main weakness in this world he had no other option but to gather as much as he could from whatever sources he could. Whether they were reputable or not. (Sorry about the short post, couldn't really find much to work with.)
Big Train watched in awe as the dragon demon transformed into a small boy. He had never witnessed something shape shift before. It must be really cool to transform and change your shape, regardless of the circumstances. The boy went from such a huge size to a such a small one. Big Train wondered if it felt funny to grow and shrink so quickly. He found himself wishing he could turn into a colossal dragon. But then the boy in the water continued talking. Big Train would reply, "Yeah, reeeaaaally strong. Like power levels in the millions, strong".
He looked down at his wrist to gaze upon an old looking watch attached to his wrist, "I got to go though, I'll see you guys later". It seemed like Dantalion had no intentions of causing trouble, so he and Arco would turn to fly away. But after traveling just a couple of feet away Big Train would tap Arco's side and the pair would stop. After look back over his shoulder at the dragon boy. He would call out, "If you want to join the galactic patrol, just let it be known. We're pretty good at finding people. BYE!". And with that final shout and a wave, the two would fly off into the horizon.
(Sorry for leaving so early but I need to reduce my number of threads. I've been far too busy with work lately)
