Gizzard Wasteland (Twelve Days until the 9th Centennial Conference)
Swirling snow and frigid frost met Oguma when he lost. He ran away from Azurai, the human monk with decent might.

"Ha..." Oguma panted as his legs trudged through the snows of the north. Humans were weak and he felt terrible now having taken on the body of one. His armor felt cold and he could feel ice beginning to freeze atop his already heavy metal breastplate. "...why did I not destroy him?"
The image of Azurai floating around and flying before him irked him. "That's right, he can fly."
Oguma did not know what kind of tricks the warrior monk had but as he leaned on his spear and used it as a walking stick, he noticed someone come across the frozen plain from the opposite direction. Their figure was small, somewhat curvy, and as far as he could tell, they were alone. It was a woman and as she got closer, he noticed she was wearing a big brown fur coat. He licked his lips and raised his ki levels to his maximum base power. He could smell her scent from a distant as he quickened his pace towards her and knew somewhere on here there was blood. This woman had killed and it was a perfect specimen to take on to alleviate his hunger.
To his surprise though as she got closer to him the woman shouted, "OGUMA-CHAN!" and ran up to him with quicker legs than he ever imagined. The woman's voice had sounded like his sister Mei and before he knew it, the young woman with short brown hair had tackled him to the ground.
His back soaked in the wet snow underneath of him and he shivered and asked, "What's going on here? Aren't you supposed to be in Jingle Village?"
Mei pulled out a warm black cloak and tossed it over Oguma's body. "Where this," she commanded as she looked at him with a smile on her face. When she opened her mouth, again he could see blood dripping off her teeth, "We just finished up in Jingle village. We attacked a small house on the outskirts of the town. Dai burned down the place and roasted the people inside, and then Mrs. Pan blew away all the flames by flapping a large gust of wind and snow on the place. After this, Mr. Pan dug out the bodies and then let me cut them up for a good meal. I'm back at full health though and am ready to help you brother."
Oguma listened to the story and wrapped the cloak around him. He was interested in what they ate though since Azurai's fight with him had made him hungry, even though he had killed and eaten a rabbit. His body shivered and before he knew it, Mei was kissing him on the forehead and transferring her heat into his body. He sighed and asked, "What did you have to eat?"
Mei got off him and Oguma stood on his feet with her. "Let's see there was a dad, a mom, two little girls, their dog and a cat." She said as she counted off the people and animals they had eaten with their fingers. "Pei Pan was greedy so she ate the rich, muscular dad. Dai ate the little girls since he enjoys little sisters. Um, Choi Pan ate the dog and cat cause, well, that was what he felt like eating, plus, none of us wanted to eat the dog." In the Inugami clan eating dogs was bad unless one had to so that was understandable to Oguma.
Dogs closely resembled the original form of Inugami demons. That said, he licked his lips and voiced, "That sounds good. So I assume you ate the wife?"
Mei nodded and said, "Yep, I'm in a really weak body so I have to keep my skin beautiful you know. I cannot have too many scratches on this wonderful face." Oguma touched his sister's cheeks and pinched them realizing just how soft they were when he did.
Suddenly, blood began to drip from the back of his head, "Oh yeah, sis- fight- wooded area- really stupid human monk." Oguma panted he remembered that Azurai had knocked him into a big rock before escaping. His vision became blurry as he fell forward onto his sister and said, "Take me home. I'm not ready for the tournament yet. I have an injury from that fight."
He coughed up blood from his mouth and Mei stretched her neck around and looked at his neck. "Wow, you have something back there." She said as she placed her hand on a piece of granite rock imbedded into his head. Mei used all the energy she could and with a strong tug managed to dislodge the rock. She tossed it aside and watched her brother's eyes close as he went on the verge of death.
Mei waved her hand in front of him and said, "Dad's not going to like it if you die here and leave all of us in this stupid wasteland."
Oguma nodded weakly as the blood dripped out more. He could not move his arms and legs at all since the rock that had come out was one stuck in the base of his skull. "Fix-" he ordered. Mei did not have to hear another word and used her demonic life force to heal and seal his wound. Oguma could feel her shoulders sag as she did, but together they two of them soon were helping each other walk weakly to the Jingle Village where their family was now hiding.
Oguma could barely move his fingers in the cold, but he took his spear and put it on his back again so that it would not get in the way. He only hoped a little rest would manage to get him through the tournament. It was only a few days away after all and without proper treatment he was unsure if he could make the trip south again. Mei had managed his wound for now, but without proper care and constant life forces it would not heal quickly enough. Still both siblings trudged through the snow and managed to get further into the wasteland then they anticipated. It was still quite a ways from the village though.
