After landing in front of the goat man and saying his hello, EGG would watch as Chai hopped right off of his position on the tower just so he could help EGG out. Chuckling a little, sounding like the stereotypical saibaman, EGG grabs the hand of Chai and allows himself to be helped up off of the ground, letting himself get settled back onto solid ground for the first time in a long while. Only looking like he had a couple of scratches across his body, EGG was rather unharmed from his little crash landing stunt. Must've been born under a lucky star or something of the sort. "Being chased on planet vegeta... Flew back here, near crashed on the tower. Use powers to not get hurt, end up down here. Aside from feeling weird from two long space travels, fine. Very fine."Nodding with what he said, his body swaying a little while he tried to get his footing back on actual solid ground, his own mind would start to rack itself as he started to figure out certain things. His eyes gazing upon the tower, remembering many months back when he climbed this tower twice to no avail, nothing waiting at the top other than a rather philosophical saiyan of sorts who was there to meet some sort of god of sorts. It seemed that the story was true, but the person living in the tower only came out every so often? EGG could only assume, using logic that is akin to that of Saturday Morning Sentai Flicks. Hearing the comment about how tall it was, EGG nods while heartily saying, "Very very tall. Climb twice before, much easier once know what doing."
He then remained silent for a while, letting air flow through his own body while calming down from the nearly destructive landing. Listening to the words from his goat friend, remarking on how this climb would take forever, EGG remember at how it took him a long while on his own first climb. Though after falling off, the second climb after that was relatively easy, so much so as to make the same amount of progress as he did in a couple of days, in just a matter of hours. And then the question about the voice going through the minds came from Chai, to which EGG shook his head up and down. "Yes, heard lady's voice while coming back to Earth. Reason why I made effort to not crash on tower, as realize people up there. Lots of em."Finally getting a bearing of himself once more, the pink and blue creature approached the edge of the tower, letting his talons hook back onto the edges once more, the feeling being rather familiar. Smiling rather brightly, EGG would give a tip to his furred comrade, "Since climb this twice, big tip. Don't need take time. Use momentum as climb up, pull yourself up at fast, hard rate. Launch self up, and use tower as momentum. Get there in no time friend!"
Waving off to his friend, EGG would grip the highest ridge of the tower with his talons, readying his own body to move a long distance in a short amount of time. In fact, it was the first time he was going to climb this in a long while, now being twice as strong as he was way back then. Lightly pulling on the tower a little at first, he would use the stone pillar to pull himself up with all of the force he had, practically cannonballing himself up the tower, his body becoming a pink blur as he started to repeat the process of grasping onto the tower in just brief bursts, just so he can pull himself up even more so. It was in literal minutes that he reached Korin's tower, EGG slamming body first in the underside of the structure. Thankfully the building was very durable, or there'd be a saibaman sized hole in the building at this point in time. Almost falling right off, EGG barely manages to grab the edge of the tower, so he can climb to the building atop the pillar. Making his way up the stairs and past the guard railing, EGG would use said railings to launch himself up the gap between Kami's Lookout and Korin's tower. Launching himself up to the top of the building, and the plant alien needing to fire a ki blast in the sky in order to push himself over onto the tiled floor of the lookout, not wanting to use his own flight unnecessarily. Now on top of the Lookout within a matter of minutes, he scanned the crowd gathering at the center of the lookout. Smiling with such a toothy grin, EGG approached with a wave, saying with a hearty, "Hello friends, name is EGG! Nice meet all!"Neato Skeletino @grace

Before any of the others could even so much as look at the basket, a rather rude saiyan walked past and snagged the whole thing for herself. He blinked lightly and looked at his hands before frowning. "O-Oh. well as long as Its being eaten I suppose that is okay." Said the skeleton.
He hushed himself as Maeve spoke up. He nodded as she spoke, though most of her words went over his head. There was a call? Oh dear did the come uninvited? Was this a party for friends or some sort? It would of been quite rude for him to have just shown up unannounced and the like if this was a private Venue. However Maeve seemed rather hospitable so Neato's fears settled rather quickly. When Maeve finished speaking the skeleton spoke up.
"Neat!" He said.
He now took this time to look at all the others. Saiyans, Humans, Chai and his demon sword, That weird pink thing with the head. Neato put his hands on his hips and beamed. So many new friends to make and so little time! Thankfully being a skeleton he did have plenty of time.
He came up to the Kami without any hint of understanding of the title or position and offered a boney hand. " Hello friend!" He said in his usual Jovial tone. "I am Neato Skeletino! And I am in fact, a skeleton!"

The people all seemed to be here, and just as Maeve was about to get started, the newest arrival, a purple colored majin girl, proceeded to tackle and hug Maeve! Pieter blinked a few times, his face becoming red a bit. He shook his head, though, after Maeve got out, returning to his resting position, which had him looking as though he were giving everyone the 100 yard stare. Maeve kept her statements brief, acknowledging those who she did contact and those she didn't into separate groups.
Some of them took the time to introduce themselves: the male saiyan named himself Kale, the skeleton Neato Skeletino, and the sword as Guardia. The demon in the sword seemed to have a constant state of concern for the goatman, whom Pieter recalled as Chai. The others, not so much! The woman in what Pieter discerned as some old styled office clothing looked to have some concern with what was going on.
Meanwhile, another person showed up that had a respectable level of strength: A saibaman! And a talking one at that! Pieter stared wide-eyed at this one, who introduced themselves as Egg in a hearty manner just like Neato did. Pieter nodded a bit, as he finally spoke up, looking at each individual in the eyes with a smile, "Aye, it is good to meet you all! We'll come to remember each other's names even after you leave here. For introductions, I am known as Pieter Wolfbane. I am a member of the Karinga tribe, specifically the Monkeys of the Karinga. That name, admittedly, comes from our shared relations with the saiyans, but pleasantries aside. I will be assisting Maeve in testing your abilities today! For those of you who have come to this place, unknowing for these tests, it is to help you develop the power, skills, and intuition needed to defend your families and friends..."
Pieter paused a moment, his smile fading as hardened eyes pierced at each person there. Could any of them sense energy? Did they have the ability to adapt? Were they prepared to do what is necessary to protect what they loved?
"Can you handle that knowing that responsibility?"

"Silence Pieter." Maeve spoke firmly, distancing herself from his claims. "You speak ahead of yourself. Just because they have made it up here doesn't necessarily mean I will train them." She cut her gaze toward the crowd of fighters, who in their excitement, seemed to be getting ahead of themselves as well. "...Though, actually being up here improves their chances considerably. If they cannot manage a simple task as coming to visit me then they may not be worth my time at all, It's incredibly rude to let a woman let alone a Goddess wait." She pointed her sharp, burning gaze to the blade that tried to delay her on the benefit of his ward. "As for the rest of you. Today I will be testing not your body nor your mind. I shall be testing your very heart and soul." She explained, closing her eyes as she emptied her mind and gave herself to the ripples and the flow of the world around her. She parted her lips to release a deep exhale from her chest. Her body and mind was flooded with the power of water giving her a sense of clarity and peace. In just a few short moments, her entire stance would shift giving her a completely different air about her. She'd open her eyes revealing a sharp focus but a sort of serenity in her gaze as she looked upon the group once more. "What I can offer is a gift well worth heeding my call." She stepped forward, the sound of chime flooding the lookout as she let just a fraction of her power slip free in the form of a silver ripple. "A divine water that will increase your individual powers by a wide margin. One that will enhance your purity to be used as a weapon to slay the wicked. This water turns good into great and the bad into worse." She paused, Her glowing eyes narrowing to slits as she took on a far more serious tone. "As such...If I detect even a little bit of wickedness in you..." "...You will be expelled and banned from this sacred lookout. That is my one courtesy to those with dark intentions. If you wish to contest my judgement, that courtesy will be revoked and I will face you with every intent to remove your dark presence permanently. If you somehow win. The position of Kami will be yours and you may conduct the remaining training as you see fit." She left her gaze on the group, her frown showing no signs that she was exaggerating or kidding. "I don't recommend trying to contest my judgement. Pieter here is only one of the many fighters that would come to my aid should I be endangered." She simply said patting his shoulder and offering him an appreciative smile. "This is your only warning. If you do not think you are worthy: leave now and come back when you believe yourself to be. I will not go back on my judgement." She concluded, summoning her massive great cleaver into her hand before resting the tip into the groove of the tile. She placed two hands on the top of the hilt in a relaxed stance as she awaited the group to consider her words and make their decision.

Jala walked in a city not paying attention to really anything. She wished she had something to do, anything. She walked around in her earthing attire, first was a 'I love Bao!' shirt, some blue denim jeans, tennis shoes, and a black hat with 17 stars on the front of it. She quietly sighs. What was she doing with her life? An assassin who hasn't killed or anything of the sort for some time. She was getting a little. She heard a whisper in her head, something about a Kami. "Kami? Contacting me? Pft!" Jala mutters as a giant ball of light appears in the distance.
"Wha-What is...?" Jala stared at it, wondering if this was a sign. "Fine KAMI, I'll bite!" Jala said as she blasted off, making a couple cars swerving a little due to her. She reached below where the light shined, she couldn't even see it much less what was up there. Jala found this giant wooden pole from the ground and she looked up til it was no more. "Man, fuck this boring afternoon! I'ma climb this pole!" The young Saiyaness yelled quickly starting on this long journey up.
She finally reached the of the damned tower and blast upward. She was surprised when she saw the giant building in the sky. She flew up and up the side, surprised to find a place up here at this height. She saw people gathered and it looked pretty important. Time to crash this party! “HEYA!” Jala yelled, landing right in front of Kami who just planted her sword. “Oh shit… Uh… Sorry?” Jala said, realizing this was probably important.

The Saiyan watched people continued to trickle onto the tower. He happened to be particularly interested in the walking talking skeleton who brought a food basket to share with everyone! The thought of food excited Kale immensely. But, before he could react, another Saiyan grabbed the food basket with seemingly no intention to share! The act disheartened Kale a bit, as he was now starting to become a bit peckish himself. In any case, it wasn't that big of a deal. He felt sorrier for Neato Skeletino than for himself.
When Peiter introduced himself, Kale displayed a gentle smile and a wave. "Hello, Peiter. It's nice to meet another kind Saiyan. And of course, I am willing to take on that responsibility." Confidence continued to brew within the Saiyan. He did not come all this way to only turn back at the first sign of hard work and duty." He was cut short by Maeve's sharp words. So now, he would observe the Kami and allow her to make her intentions known to the many potential followers that had gathered. The Saiyan felt a little excited about getting to know each and every one.
Kale listened intently while the Kami made her speech. His stature remained to be that of a monument made of steel. Here the Saiyan expected to be certified by physical or mental means, like sparring against a chosen partner or answering a few riddles. But instead, it would be Kale's very character that would be put to the test. His mind wandered momentarily to his life on Planet Vegeta, and how grateful he was to his parents right now for helping him become a man with a good heart.
The Saiyan's eyes did not waver while he watched Maeve. 'So,' Kale thought, 'this isn't going to be a test of strength. It's an assessment of our souls. If mom and dad hadn't brought me up the way they did, I wouldn't stand a chance against Kami's judgment.' Kale's lips curled into a soft smile. He would be eternally grateful to his parents and the one who spared their lives all those years ago. If it weren't for that kind warrior, Kale and his folks would not be living on Earth today.
Kale was about to step forward. But, the rather brash behavior of yet another Saiyan newcomer nearly threw him off guard. She landed right in front of the group and stood before the Kami! Her tactless demeanor surprised Kale. Even Saiyans weren't normally that bold. But, he wouldn't let the display deter him. "Kami," he spoke, "I will accept your conviction of my character."

Post by Big Train on Feb 21, 2017 18:20:08 GMT
The atmosphere was palpable. Big Train swallowed hard, he didn’t take lightly the test that these two titans of power spoke of. First he listened to Pieter, it was interesting that the big man was also a Saiyan, it made sense. Big Train took what the man said very seriously. While the Big Train had no family and hardly any friends, he wanted the power to protect innocents and the Earth as a whole. There was no telling when the next invasion was coming and THIS TIME, he was going to be ready for it!
“I can handle it!” The teen answered. But a moment later his eyebrows shot up like he forgot something as he said, “Oh, I’m Big Train by the way!”. But then Kami Maeve spoke and the sinking realization that he could be denied as a student set in. She was going to look into their very souls! Big Train was worried, he knew he was a good guy but the way she spoke… was he good enough? Would she know about the nudie mags under his bed? Or the time he took a cookie before dinner? All of Big Train’s wickedness was pretty… tame and mundane. Probably not even worth calling 'wickedness'. But he didn’t know that as he started to bite his nails out of nervousness.
Everything around him started to fade away, melding into the background as his vision tunneled. Focused only on the Kami. Big Train didn’t even notice the rude ass newcomer. He was focused! His heart would be broken if the Kami denied him. Nervousness filled his mind, but there was no way in hell that he was leaving. He needed the Kami’s guidance. If there was even just a CHANCE that he would become a better martial artist, he had to take it. No matter the risk! Big Train took in a deep breath and held it for a moment before exhaling it. It was all he needed to let most of the nervousness and self doubt escape his being. “I’m ready” Big Train calmly stated as he patiently waited on the Kami.

<< Previous ThreadTHE ANSWER TO THOSE WHO PRAY Chai sighed in relief after examining EGG's injuries- thankfully he was only scuffed by the crash. The Saibaman apparently went to... Planet Vegeta?! "You went where?!" Chai questioned with a tad bit of shock. Even in his universe, Saibamen were considered slaves to the saiyans. Why would the plant boy go there, of all planets? Chai bit his lip when the saibaman said he was being chased... If he met whoever was chasing his friend down...
No, now was a bad time for dwelling on things like that. After commenting on the height of the tower, Chai rose a brow when his pink and blue friend remarked on climbing the tower before. He also had heard Maeve's telepathic voice, and careened his pod down here to avoid crashing into numerous people gathered atop the Lookout! Nodding in response, the goat would put a hand on his chin, narrowing his eyes while staring up the tower. Even now, he still couldn't make out the top of the tower... Would he even make it up there by the end of today? Would it take hours? Days? Weeks? The currently flightless goat from another world was concerned...
EGG spoke once more, offering the goat some of his own experience. Use the tower as momentum? Chai was always quite cautious, and glanced off to the side with uncertainty when hearing this. It would be a lot safer to climb it like some kind of rock wall, yes, but it would also take forever. By the time he got up there, Maeve would have likely left or something! "...Right. I'll try-- thanks." Chai spoke in response to EGG's advice with a nod, taking a few steps towards the tower while watching his friend take off with a wave. Putting his bare feet on the tower and gripping onto the ledge, Chai would thrust his form upwards, leaping from ledge to ledge with efficeiency comparable to the death-defying feats of the common mountain goat.
'...Tch, Fine. DON'T answer my question.' Guardia would remark while Chai was climbing the tower below- nobody would answer the sword's question as to how long it would take one to climb the tower with clear irritation. 'I'll just go get him up here myself, if you will EXCUSE me.' Guardia resounded telepathically, beginning to float over to the edge of the lookout, but not before EGG rocketed upwards, landing in front of the now shocked sword! 'E...EGG?' Guardia questioned, tilting his inanimate form like a head. Soon enough, another blur would whizz behind the tower, doing a quick flip in the air before landing on the ground of the lookout. Not to far behind EGG came Chai, in the flesh and blood!
Guardia blinked a few times while Chai's form rolled up to a straight position while he wiped his brow. "Whew... What a workout!" The goat spoke, slumping over now with a sigh. "I almost thought I was going to fall and break my back a few times there..." He'd remark with a meek smile, turning to examine the crowd before catching eye of Guardia, giving the startled and dazed blade a quick wave.
Catching eye of Pieter, the man he met in the woods briefly awhile back, Chai would remain silent while the man spoke. The member of the Monkeys of Karinga tribe introduced himself, and spoke of helping Maeve test the group... Glancing around for a moment, Chai would briefly lock eyes with the Kami herself, Maeve. And boy, was she strong! As expected for an apparent godly entity.
The Kami quickly hushed Pieter while Chai stood silent, walking over and sitting down near Guardia. The two exchanged glances will Maeve spoke to the group, listening intently. Climbing the tower just seemed to be the first test of many! She wasn't testing the strength of everyone here, but their very hearts were to be judged. if they passed this strange test, the pure heated warriors would be rewarded with the Lookout's sacred water, which increased one's power exponentially. But, if they failed-- if they even had a shred of malevolence in their hearts...
Guardia's eye would quickly invert in coloration, with a black sclera and white pupil. Chai's fur would spike up a little with fright when the Kami took on a far more serious tone. Banishment?! That was a heavy price for failure. The goat remained silent, doubting himself for a few moments. Was someone like him really worthy? Someone who left his friends to die? Someone who left his friends to rot? Chai frowned, looking down at the tiles and eyeing his own reflection. His soul had a heavy burden weighing on it, for sure... Chai listened to Maeve intently, letting out a quick sigh when she spoke of the unworthy perhaps challenging her to gain the throne of Kami, but if they did... Maeve would "remove their dark presence permanently." Chai swallowed hard in response.
Guardia's eye would quickly return to normal when he caught his partner's concern. 'Chai...' He began, forgetting his voice was still audible to everyone else. 'You'll be fine, Chai. You've been through hell and back and still give everyone kindness and mercy!' The sword spoke, hopping up and flailing a little with determination. Chai raised his head, eyeing Guardia as he concluded his thought. 'If anyone's worthy of training, it is you, partner. I believe that with every shred of my soul.'
Guardia himself wasn't exactly pure- the blade was willing to kill in cold blood, and could be quite rude and snarky. But he wanted his partner to get strong, he wanted his partner to make up for his mistakes to save their dear allies. "...Okay." Chai responded with a quick nod. Despite his determined expression, the goat still carried a few doubts in his battered and beaten heart. He wanted to make up for his wrongdoings and mistakes. He wanted to save his friends-- he wanted to be someone worthy of the love the parallels of so many of his friends, and enemies, gave him.
Closing his eyes and gritting his teeth, the goat would briefly slap himself across the face. No, he WAS completely worthy! He was important-- it wasn't his fault that all of his friends were left behind. He had to leave without them, or this world would be doomed as well. He did the right thing, in the end... right?
Chai sighed as a few images flashed through his mind once more. He remembered franticly trying to escape in the Peridem, watching from afar as his own EGG detonated, his world's Hinawa gave her own life to buy a few precious seconds needed to escape... Their efforts were not in vain. And Chai would fulfill their last wishes, no matter what. He would return. He would save his world.
Soon enough, another entered the Lookout, causing Chai to let out a brief startled goat bleat when he was snapped out of his thoughts by Jala's arrival. Kale and Big Train were eager to have their souls judged. Inhaling deeply, the goat would stand up, taking a few steps towards Maeve before stopping a few paces in front of Kale and Big Train, ignoring the newcomer for now. "It's... Maeve Rakshasa, right?" Chai questioned, tilting his head to the side for a moment before speaking once more. "I'm Chai. Chai Schala. I... accept your judgement of my soul, whatever it may be." He spoke, clenching his fists with a genuine smile. Guardia would be certainly smiling right now if he still had a mouth at his friend's genuine resolve and perseverance-- that was the Chai he knew! That was his partner! And the blade couldn't be prouder of how far his friend had come.

As EGG bounded up the tower and onto the lookout, the pink and blue creature noticed a familiar face up here. The only familiar face, which doesn't even have a face. As the sword had spoken up, EGG's voice reared up as he in turn said at the same time, "Guardie!?" Already flubbing up on his name, EGG bounced his way over to the sword, only to be stopped by Chai seconds afterward. The arrival of the goatboy edgelord getting up here so fast so soon made him quite literally surprised him, as he had expected a couple more minutes after giving his advice. Then again, Chai was stronger than what the little Tennenman was when he originally climbed the tower. After arriving and giving his greetings, EGG remained silent as the two strongest people here announced the plans. The oddly bare chested man speaking about how he was going to only oversee the current proceedings, making sure things went smoothly for Maeve. EGG winced only a little once he mentioned that he was a saiyan, as not even a day ago did EGG just outrun an un-Kami-ly amount of saiyans who wanted to put down the 'Sapient Saibaman.' And after he started talking about how everyone was going to take this responsibility, the dragon demon lady spoke up, talking this Pieter Wolfbane down as she spoke about how being up here wasn't qualifications enough. Though EGG obviously had some hard times trying to keep up with most of this speak, a couple words whizzing over his heads, and something about her being a Goddess. But after she practically changed the atmosphere she exhumed, what EGG was able to capture at least, was that she would be able to give the people up here something which would test their hearts. If they were good people inside, then they would be granted powers that still rested within their own bodies. On the other hand, if there were any evil inside of their hearts, they would be kicked off the look out. Blinking a couple times as Maeve thoroughly explained that she would try to smack down anyone who tried to go against her own judgement. Taking a couple seconds to let this all sink in, he would feel the serious intent flow from the words she spewed from her mouth, quite literally meaning every word as there would be others to assist her if any danger befell her. Taking her words to heart, EGG would close his eyes to see if he doubted himself. If he felt unworthy to be here... If he felt any evil linger in his heart. As he focused his mind, he easily found his answer, after remembering everything he had done for as long as he could remember. Living with the old man, keeping him company until he passed away into the afterlife, in which EGG spent a whole year mourning by watching nothing but flicks. After that, his life's quality sky rocketed as he met and especially helped many good people around the world. He had saved Tanis and a saiyan from an evil bug man, he saved people from a burning building although he failed to save one little girl... EGG had also gone and helped Captain Nova in stopping a bank robbery, becoming his new side-kick known as Star Cadet. Aside from one moment in his life, in which he fell into anger and rage, letting his primal instincts take over due to the extreme stress the tournament crowds gave him, EGG had not a speck of darkness in his heart. And he felt as if his handle on his internal rage was getting much greater, though that remained to be seen. He needed to take this test, to see if his soul was truly clean, or if his rage still lingered deep within him, waiting to unleash itself on any unfortunates who push the plant alien's buttons too much. After hearing Chai speak up, accepting the challenge given to him by the Kami of the planet, the little guy took a couple steps toward Maeve, stopping a good four feet away from her while he looked up with a rather serious look on his face. Speaking up, his voice betrayed him as he said in a happy, yet serious tone, "Maeve, I am EGG, born on Earth. I want to be hero not to just Earth, not to galaxy... But hero to everyone. Not accepting test because it make me stronger, but to see if I have heart strong enough to protect all. I take whatever you throw at me, will take in stride!"His serious face, as he spoke, soon devolved into a warm smile, truly meaning each and every word as he wanted nothing more than to protect everyone. No matter what walk of life they walked, everyone deserved a hero. Neato Skeletino

Neato stayed mostly silent as Pieter and Maeve spoke. He listened closely, his bony exterior and face unwavering in that smile of his. He stood fast, hands resting on his hips as his attention was focused Solely on the two of them. Their words came, as did Maeves warning. Neato frowned for a moment, bringing a hand up to his chin as he tapped it, shutting his eyes as he began thinking over what she said.
Like Chai he had a friend whom helped him out when he needed it. Did that make him evil? King of bones surely wasn't. He was the second most helpful skeleton he had ever met, albeit a bit grumpy. Neato seemed deep in thought for several minutes after Maeve spoke before he finally opened his eyes
"I have no idea what any of that means." He said. "But, as long as we become friends It matters little if I understand!" The skeleton smiled wide. " I'm getting rather excited really! So many new people to meet. So many new friends to make!"
The skeleton let out a hearty laugh that seemed to echo over the look out. "NYEH HEH HEH! I don't know what training is, Or what sort of evil mumbo jumbo you were talking about is, but It matters not! I, Neato Skeletino, am up for the challenge! And So is the King of Bones!"

Maeve told Pieter to hold his tongue, to which the hunter would do. After the incident from not too long ago, Pieter was trying to make amends to that. Meanwhile, the lady that arrived by craft ended up leaving, having been baffled by the symmetry of the square blocks making a giant circle! The hunter picked his attention to those that were here, and then the goat guy that was trapped up by branches a few days ago. It looked like he was in much better health now!
The Kami made it known to the group that there'd be a trial through some purifying water, to see who was either evil hearted or good hearted, to simply put it. However, the next words caught Pieter's personal attention: The surrendering of the position if one of these runts managed to beat her and him! The people before them, however, wished to still undergo it. The goat man, after his long silence, finally introduced himself as Chai Schala.
After all this, a new person showed up! This one, too, was a saiyan like Kale and the girl who'd been indulging in Neato's basket! She seemed like a typical saiyan warrior, yet compared to the rest, she'd been unwaveringly close with a blade in hand. Pieter didn't move his body much, just simply lowering his arms down as he looked at her. She didn't feel, nor looked it either. Was she someone also called here, Pieter had to ponder?

Maeve smiled softly to those who had stepped up. Despite the serious edge to her tone they all still seemed confident and some even seemed proud to be there. "Very well then. I shall look at each of your auras and I will reveal to each of you what I see." Her brows creased into a furrow as she focused harder to tap into her serene mind a bit further, causing her eyes to burn brighter leaving them without pupil. Her molten gaze would look through the potential students aligned. She looked past all bravado, all fronts, and all doubts to see the very essence of their souls burning like a candle in the darkness.
Her expression hardened as she looked to the first that approached. "Kale , your aura burns with compassion for all life. Especially those close to you. Your desire to protect shines above all, though I worry what will become of you if you must compromise on your ideals for the greater balance. Regardless of these concerns..." She paused, letting her eyes close for a moment as she let her words hang in the air.
"...You are worthy to obtain my emblem and train under me."
The dragoness smiled, bowing her head to the future disciple, before turning to Big Train next. She kept her gaze focused on him for a moment. "'Big Train ' as you prefer to be called, your aura burns with determination first and foremost. You desire to be strong not for personal glory but so you may defend the world as a whole. Ambition is your greatest strength but may end up being your greatest weakness. I fear one day, your ambition will lead to you challenging something far beyond your control. If you can temper it, I will be glad to train you as my second student." She nodded to him as well. "As for you, EGG , you certainly have a grand heart and a lot of excitement. I can see quite clearly that your strongest trait is your innocence. You have a special kind of purity that will only grow if it is nurtured. Though, it also has the potential to be abused. You are at a delicate stage in your life and I will gladly help guide you to be a better hero. I will help teach you balance so you may better protect that innocence." She concluded , looking down to the pint sized hero, giving him a wink. "Mr. Neato Skeletino , your aura burns brightest with...Well frankly, love for all things. It truly is touching and to some extent I fear you may not be suited for fighting at all! Yet I can tell you have potential." She paused, looking past the groovy looking Skeleton seemingly to something behind him. "Another's presence also looms over you like a shadow. Whoever it may be is...Troubling to say the least. I hope my training can separate you from it."
"Finally, on to you. Chai ." She looked to the newcomer who had just managed to arrive. She frowned a bit however, as the emotions washed over her like a mighty wave. "Your aura...I'll be honest. I skipped over you because I didn't know if I had the right words to say." She closed her eyes, hanging her head. "...I feel, your spirit is shackled by pain and regret. I can tell just how weary you are and it truly breaks my heart." Her eyes faded back to normal as she approached the goat Zoan, only to take his hands into a pair of hers. "The amount of suffering you have seen must be immense. Yet, despite all of that. You have perseverance. No matter how much you may be hindered, it is undeniable that above all else: you wish to do what is right. I would be honored if you were to accept my training."
"All of you have permission to obtain my seal. Afterward, I shall train each of you. You may begin the training with Pieter now before you gain your seals if you'd like." She said, glancing to the regretful saiyan, giving him an encouraging smile before pulling away from Chai and walking instead toward the final person who decided to show up. The young woman cloaked in black who had been rather brash since she stepped upon the sacred ground.
"As for you, since you have come here I assume you heeded my call and are looking for training. As you just witnessed, these young men have come forth and allowed me to judge their very soul. If you wish to follow them and face judgement I will allow it. Know this though, if I find you unworthy. Even if you have the smallest hint of darkness. You will be banned from my lookout. If you refuse, I will consider it a threat to myself, my friends, and my family and I will forcefully purge you from this sacred ground. Is that clear?" She asked Jala, looking to her with a chilling seriousness that contrasted with the girls lax air.

Jala listened as Maeve explained she was gonna do and frowned. She wasn't a fan of people looking into her soul. She was quite self-conscious and wasn't all for this 'soul search' going on. She listened and slowly came to the realization that if 'Kami' here, deemed her evil, she would have no help. That this group hunt her down and kill her, in her eye's. She wasn't peculiarly happy about this and getting ready to bolt, but Maeve turned her attention toward Jala, and she winced, thankfully unseen by everyone. "Yes, I did come here for that." Jala said, losing her usual lax attitude and becoming serious. She knew that just changing her tone wouldn't mean anything, but she felt like she needed too. Jala listened to Kami, she realized how in over her she was. Death, or trying to be her student. Either pass, fail or die. "Yes, I understand clearly. I will take your judgment, whatever the outcome is." Jala said completely serious as she takes a deep breathe in, ready for the outcome.

Kale felt like he was walking on air right at this moment. Kami's words of encouragement only made him feel incredibly joyous. His response to her judgment was but a simple, determined nod. But, he was rather curious about a particular item that she mentioned. What was it that she said about compromise? He wasn't sure what exactly Maeve meant. Questions for later.
It appeared that most everyone who arrived at the lookout was worthy to be trained by the guardian of the planet. It made Kale happy to see that the majority of people had good in their hearts and such a willingness to protect people. All the more defenders that Kale could rely on in battle and other times of need.
All that was left now was to obtain Kami's seal and begin his training. At the very least, he had the option to train with the other Saiyan, Peiter. It was something that Kale looked forward to. After all, he appeared to be pretty strong. Kale looked to the others. "I look forward to protecting the planet alongside each and every one of you. I'm happy that I'm not the only one with a desire to defend people."
