Boom, another saiyan pod crashing right into the landscape. This one leaving a larger dent than most had left before. Mostly due to the distance it traveled, and how fast it's entry speed was. In fact, close to the end of the flight, the systems had turned off, having ran out of fuel. Which startled Mattenes awake, as suddenly he found himself not unconscious anymore. The ball had put him into a suspended animation like any other saiyan that used it. Mattenes floated in space for about 2 days, and when he finally crashed, he stumbled out. his legs wobbling from atrophy. He fell to his knees, not used to the gravity, the oxygen levels, or even the visuals. Even though he had only acid in his stomach, Mattenes vomited.
For the next 2 hours, he'd be in painstaking disoriented hell. his body trying to acclimate. The oxygen here was much more rich, along with other gasses that tried to fill his lungs. which in turn would make Mattenes sputter and cough. The gravity was slightly more dense, which put more pressure on his spine. unfortunately this also had a side effect of giving him the case of the wobbles. His body shook like a leaf. He wasnt acclimated to other places, hell he didn't even thing he'd ever need to be. After a couple more hours, Mattenes found that the roaring headache from his extra oxygen laden brain settled for a moment. He got to his knees, then to one foot. He could barely force himself on two feet, using a nearby tree for support. His tail having to wrap around his left leg to keep it steady.
The first good thing in a while, after being whisked away from his only home, after being put upon a planet that didnt have a very kind atmosphere. Was the fact the forest was abundant in food. Thankfully since the species he was raised with were a bunch of pacifists, Mattenes could (With some effort, and experimentation) differentiate which plants could give him energy, and which simply wouldn't help much. Matt engorged himself on a nearby mushroom patch, filling his gut as much as he could with the small mushrooms. So rich in flavour everything on earth. He was sure once he found a way off he'd come back simply for the food, he'd probably bring a few friends as well to enjoy the- Whoa. Mattenes stumbled a bit. Strangely Mattenes felt no need to vomit, even though he'd foolishly stuffed a starved, shrunken stomach. But things felt. Different. The area around him distorted mildly. His legs felt lighter. his breath quickened. Welcome to the trip Mattenes. Mattenes didnt know it, but he unfortunately had consumed a large amount of Gymnopilus luteoviridis. A mushroom type that produced Hallucinogenic properties when consumed. Well, for the second time, Earth wasnt that bad. He ended up following his childhood crush through the forest, his brain addled by the effects. He stuck his face into a river, sucking down as much water as he could, having to upchuck most of it, but it was the need to hydrate that mattered in his drugged up mind. Hours passed, the late night had turned into day, so thankful that the moon had been mostly obscured from where he was. As Mattenes finally came down from his rather interesting experience, he found himself wanting to find civilization to help him refuel the ship so he could return home.
A Small little venture and thankfully he found the edge of town. Mattenes smiled like a goofball, running towards civilization. Though something looked off. The city looked a little. Off. Some buildings looked old, and in need of some repairs, while some buildings looked to have been JUST repaired. Curiosity gripped any rationality, and he delved into the town. There he would encounter the first of what he had assumed were the native inhabitants. Mattenes thought of how he could try to interact with them. He found that the best way was with the universal exclamation, and waving as a sign of excited greetings. He shouted out a greeting to the nearby group of humans. However when they looked to him, they got nervous. They seemed to be in a mix of confusion and fear. They waved back as much as they needed to, and when they could they scrambled from the location. Mattenes blinked, looking about. The next second he could remember was a mix of pain, and confusion disorientation as he felt his hair, and tail being pulled. He howled out, trying to find the one responsible. However the others wouldnt allow it, just shouting out the words "Saiyan Bastard" over and over, pulling Mattenes' shirt over his head and smacking him with wooden tools. Matt found himself repeating "I'm no-Ow! Mad.. I'm not Ma-Ow! I'm not..." before his consciousness slipped. He awoke later, a person in front of him, only offering a sympathetic look before having to retreat. Matt looked to his stomach, noticing a small piece of candy there. He blinked. Earth is weird. He popped the candy into his mouth, and smiled a little bit. It was the best thing he'd ever tasted. small tears leaked out. Earth is weird, but it's interesting
