Mimikku stood there listening to him all the while Lilith was screaming into her head. The warnings that pushed into her mind had made her freeze in place. All of the teachings she had received from Lilith over the years had led her to believe that anyone that had a goddess within them had to be in harmony with them or it would cause their body to be always at its limit and eventually would break down. As the twins paths where just like the sides of a coin. One light, one dark, one showed the real person the other the reflection. “Just because she can be a challenge does not mean that you need to fight her… You know that Emer… You do not need to have to fight anymore unless you are provoked. “
Her words where low still as she felt Alith send a message toward Lilith who pushed it into Mimi’s mind. Knowing the signal she felt a lump go into her chest. Bringing her hand up she clenched it into a fist as she heard him speak about her being able to stay as she is a friend for now. :: He said for now… It seems he has made up his mind about me and Ninjin already and he is just waiting and biding his time. He knows that he can defeat us all without any effort. So he is just toying with us…:: Inside of her mind Mimikku was trying to understand it all but she felt an icy chill come over herself. That made her extremely uncomfortable, and combine all these words with the memories she had of his and she felt an extreme unease around Emer now.
Slipping from the room and back out into the hallways she began to walk along. Making it a small balcony at the far back of the capsule mansion she sat there. Closing her eyes she lifted herself into the air and began to fly over back to the cave. Emer unnerved her now and all the warnings she received from Lilith made her even more wary. Walking to a cushion that had been stained by some of Nai’s blood she grabbed it and went over to one of the barrels of water she had gathered. Taking a rag she began to clean the blood from the cushions one at a time. As she did this work she talked with Lilith.
“I need… to tell Ninjin everything fast. I cannot have her stay here as Emer will kill her if they even spar. She may be like her father and love a good spar but I doubt he would hold back a killing blow where she would… I know that I would be but a gnat to him if he went down the path of destruction… but I would have to do what I can if it came to that point. Mimikku I understand what you are saying but you need to stop and realize if he is on that path my mother and sister will be trying everything they can to keep him alive til it is to late. Then they will need someone to pray for them or they will die alongside the host. We are in harmony Mimi. We have been for decades which is a welcome change compared to most. Except you are no killer, you are no fighter. You just want peace and somewhere to grow old. That is why I am with you. You and I want the same things… Just time for us to realize that soon we may have to defend Nai-Ran from him if he slips into a rage. Even if that means our death…”
The conversation between the two was private but still not all that quiet as she had not expected anyone to show up in the cave as she stayed quiet after that. Just getting to work on the cushions.

Ninjin was not alone for very long as she felt Nai enter the room and begin chatting with her. The interaction easily bringing a smile to the half breed’s lips. “This place certainly is a sight to behold. I could never afford to live in a place like this. Heck I am happy to even have a roof over my head. I prefer the open air for the most part. I mean that as I have really not been in a real bed in several months. Not since I helped a small village that was on the slopes of Mt Pao with some Arcosian that decided to be a tyrant over them…” Speaking up rather quickly about her own situation she smiled at her softly. When Nai brought up her purchases Nin raised a finger into the air. It was true the half breed had the stuff but they where safely tucked away in the pack she had back inside of the cave.
Making a motion back toward the door she let out a light chuckle. “Well your things are still in my pack back within the cave. Though I must admit your stuff was really freaking heavy. You have all your clothing made out of steel or something? As for your state why not head to a bathroom and look it over? I mean you might want to look at your hair and face. Check and see if you have any sort of marks the bean did not heal or to just clean up if you want to.” Shrugging as Ninjin mentioned a few things that seemed awfully girly compared to what she normally would, but for some reason she relaxed around Nai like she did when she was around Kojima. It was a relaxation that she could not place her fingers on but loved all of it.
As she lowered her voice she listened to her question and she shook her head. “Sadly no there is no way. As such things the cells had a memory of what they where attached to. After a long period of time it loses that memory. If I am remembering what I have been told about the beans. Though I could show you where I purchased the bean from and you could ask them in person. As I know only a little about the beans. Though I am just happy that it was able to heal you as well as it did. As you needed it.” Ninjin looked at Nai and gave her a smile as she reached over and patted her on her shoulder as she felt a signature of ki float off and head back toward the cave.
”I think that Mimi has left the house and headed back to the cave. I wonder what could of made her leave?” Ninjin wondered out loud before she felt another larger burst of ki that she recognized as Emer’s burst forth from the gravity room. Her brow raised as she felt him crawl his power up til it was able to be moving again. A slight frown crossed her face as she focused on the signature and sighed. :: He is stronger then I am. Well despite the fact this would be a great fight if I wanted to… For some reason I feel death coming from him when he is around. It is a lot like Kojima is when a saiyan is nearby. The blood runs through them and yet I feel like he has such hatred in him for me…::
Blinking as she sighed once again she sat down on a nearby couch and looked over at Nai. “I think Emer found a room that is helping him train and become stronger. He is almost directly over us right now and I feel him giving it his all. I would join him in the training room but I doubt I would be welcome for very long. So I will give this Mimi the time of day and then will be on my way in a day or two. I will not stay around all too well.”

”I agree with you to a certain extent. The open air is nice and I much prefer the feel of sand beneath my scales, but I’m in no way complaining. Floors covered in wood aren’t so bad for me to slide across at all,” Nai-Ran remarked. It sounded like Ninjin had quite a few adventures under her belt. At some point she would have to make it a point to venture out once again and do some more exploring. So far the only places she had seen were the Diablo Desert, Satan City, the route she used to travel between said desert and city, and the base of Mt. Paozu.
”I’m sorry you troubled yourself with them, then. You see, while I was out shopping, I decided to pick up a couple of specialty items for training purposes. If I knew that I wasn’t to be the one carrying them all the way back here, I probably would have saved that particular purchase for another day,” she apologized with a polite bow. The items she was referring to were actually a somewhat plain looking bolero and a pair of bracers that had been modified to be quite heavy. Nai-Ran had known she needed to get stronger even before her encounter with Oni. It’s true that she had grown quite a bit since she first arrived on Earth. However, she was still too weak for her liking. Emer had already gone berserk once, and had shown that turning on those that considered themselves his allies wasn’t something he was against in that state. She had been fortunate enough that he was able to stop himself before any of them had seriously gotten hurt, but what if it happened again? If it did, what if he didn’t snap back to his senses in time? This wasn’t something that she could just cross her fingers on and hope for the best, especially when she didn’t understand what had caused it in the first place. If she wanted to make it back to Appodorra someday, as well as keep those she felt close to safe, she was going to have to get much, much stronger. Her recent near death experience only served to drive that fact home.
”Perhaps once I have a set of clothes to change into. I’m actually a bit hesitant to go take a look at myself. Back home, I’ve always been taught that it’s important it is to keep up physical appearances when in the company of others. Why, if my father were to see me now his face would surely turn as white as a sheet before shifting to a brilliant hue of vermillion,” she spoke with a slow shake of her head. Normally the biggest issue she would have about cleaning herself up would be slithering all the way out to the stream and dunking herself into its freezing waters. However, she had heard that human buildings had a system where water was readily available when it was needed.
Nai-Ran could feel her spirits sink a little bit when Ninjin told her that she didn’t know of anything to restore a limb that wasn’t freshly missing. While what the hybrid said about cell memory made sense, the serpentine lass decided that she still might have to do a little investigating on that matter. She had already discovered several wonderful things about this planet. Perhaps the answer she sought simply waited around a different corner. She would have to keep in mind that there would be limits, but it couldn’t hurt to do a little bit of delving on the subject elsewhere when the opportunity presented itself. ”If it wouldn’t be too much of a bother, then it would be much appreciated if you could direct me to where I might acquire some for myself. I’m fairly sure that my opponent carried one of those beans with him as well. In the middle of our fight, he popped something into his mouth and shrugged off any damage he had taken at that point far like it was a minor inconvenience. It wouldn’t hurt to have a few on hand just in case.”
The redhead voiced her concerns that Mimikku had left the house. Had she? It seemed odd that she would take her leave out of the blue like that. The young woman closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment to find that Ninjin was correct. The blip that popped into her mind that was the female Kagami’s ki signature seemed to be in the direction of the cave. At least she hadn’t gone too far. ”Hmm... Perhaps she’s also one to prefer the feeling of being outdoors? I can’t really say for sure though,” Nai-Ran ventured a guess. There was also the possibility that she was nervous about meeting with Ninjin and needed to collect her thoughts before she could say what she needed to say, but the Ryashi decided to keep that guess to herself. Before she relaxed her ability to sense ki, she suddenly felt Emer’s energy skyrocket from the floor above them. The serpentine lass looked up at the ceiling with a raised eyebrow, dropping her high society demeanor briefly. What was he doing up there? Without actually asking the question, Ninjin seemed to answer it as she took a seat on the couch.
”He’s training again?” Nai-Ran sighed, sounding a bit miffed at the idea. However, she quickly regained her stiff posture and cleared her throat. Retaining her composure at all times was something she was determined to work on. Still, she had been hoping she would have more time to contemplate her new way to go about keeping Emer from pushing himself too hard before he started in on it again. How could she be firm, warm, and not seem like an annoyance when it came to this? General Kan-Basu’s method of keeping Nai-Ran from training wasn’t helpful, since all he did was demand that she get back to studying other subjects. She didn’t have many other hobbies besides training or studying that she could possibly redirect his attention to. Somehow the young woman doubted that embroidery would really be in his interests; the fact that he only had one arm would make it rather difficult.
Hmm... Maybe now would be a good time to go ask him about the house’s bathing facilities. While it likely wouldn’t keep him busy for more than a minute or two, it was better than anything else she was coming up with. It wouldn’t be an empty excuse to use as a distraction either. While Nai-Ran could conceivably just search the house for them, she legitimately wouldn’t know when she found them. Hopefully his foul mood would have cleared at least a little bit by now. ”Stay as long as you need. However, for now please excuse me Ninjin. I have something I must speak with Emer about. Please feel free to make yourself at home in the meantime,” she spoke with a polite bow before slithering off. If it turned out that she was overstepping her bounds by extending such an invitation, she would take responsibility for it later. After all, while it sounded like there was at least one room specifically added in for her, it was still technically Emer’s house.
The staircase hadn’t been pleasant to traverse with her aching tail, but Nai-Ran eventually found herself on the second floor. Its color scheme was noticeably different than the warmer colors that made up the first floor, but still had a certain beauty to it. The Ryashi made her way down the wide hallway until she came across a rather heavy looking door. She had still been paying attention to everyone’s ki signatures, so she was positive that Emer was behind it. With a deep breath, she knocked on the door a few times before raising her voice in hopes that she would be heard. ”Emer? Are you in there? I had a question about the house.”

(Since everyones forgetting that Nai had her shoulder cut pretty deep and such...)
Emer stood there for a while in the room. Just getting himself to stand straight was a challenge with the added on gravity. It was a strange concept to him, that something like this could exist. Finally bringing his power level up to half of what it could be, he began to walk around the room for a small bit. Letting a small sigh escape his lips. His body was screaming at him in every corner of his being. Suddenly he felt Mimikku's power grow for a minute as she began to float away from the house. A small smile appeared on his face. It seemed that Alith had told her something about him, and she had decided to listen to it. 'Now what was that for Alith? You know very well, that I won't attack them just yet because of Nai.' He said looking towards the ceiling. His training in here would have to wait, as his body couldn't take the pressure he was feeling right now. 'To bad I can't train in here now, if I do my body won't survive but ten minutes, and I would be stuck in here till someone came...'
Alith seemed to stay quiet for the mean time as Emer waited for her to speak. A small tsk seemed to come out of his mouth as he walked over to the giant pole in the middle of the room. Reaching over he pushed the button on the column to stop the gravity. He could feel himself becoming lighter as the gravity began to lower, it seemed that his body was enjoying the weight being lifted off of his shoulders. Suddenly Alith seemed to speak to him. 'Just so you know, I don't think it's a good idea to keep them around for to long, if you truly do plan on destroying the saiyans, when you go to do so, those two will step in your way. And if you become attached to them, it would make you fall even deeper into your own darkness...' A small laugh escaped Emer that sounded crazy. It would seem to echo throughout the house, as it was nearly empty right now. Alith flinched at his sudden outburst.
'I don't see them as complete friends right now Alith. I know one day we are going to be fighting one another when I go to destroy the planet Vegeta. As I am sure they've developed some friends along the way, those of which will be pure blooded saiyans from that planet. Especially Nai with how kind she is... When she develops a friendship with them, she will probably stand in my way. So these peaceful days I will have to keep in my memory for a time to come. But in the end they're all my enemy... There's nothing I can do about that...' Alith sat there silently. She knew that Nai had been kind to Emer. But she also saw the truth in his words as he spoke about them eventually becoming enemies. If she stayed around Emer for too long, it might become painful being around him. It would probably corupt her if she did for too long. She started to say something but suddenly someone was knocking on the door.
Emer seemed to stop in front of the door, as he heard Nai's voice come from the other side. His hand slowly moved up pushing a button, suddenly the doors would snap open at blinding speeds. He would be standing right in front of her. As the door wasn't very big, it was big enough to let him and Nai in, but it wasn't big enough width wide, for two people to enter at the same time. 'It seems she wishes to speak to you Emer... I pray that you be a bit kinder this time to her. I know what you did earlier was to try and push her away... But you might find that she doesn't want that.' Emer let a small smile appear on his face as he looked down at her. "Hello Nai, it seems that you found this floor... But I do notice that the elevator hadn't been taken to get you here." He said noticing the Elevator right across the hall, the light still stayed on the first floor.
Though as she spoke to him, he found out that she wished to speak about the house, and such. Though as he was looking over her, he cleared his throat he reached up and took his cloak off and simply draped it over her. "I don't think the girls mentioned this, but it seems that you took a cut through your shoulder, and well... With that top you're wearing you've nearly got yourself exposed." He seemed to still have his modesty for Nai at this point. As he stood there she could see the bandage wrapped around his mid section. 'At least you still respect her. That's more than what you do with me and Irith... You make us seem like we're not important anymore and that's mean Emer.' It seemed Alith was just teasing him, but he could tell she was a little bit jealous of how he treated Nai compared to Her mother, and herself. Though simply ignoring Alith he looked back down at Nai.
"But otherwise, what is it you wish to ask me at the moment, This house was built to accommodate you nicely, as it would allow you to move around a bit easier, and there's a coal room down on the first floor. Which I know you might enjoy as it'll be warm rocks all year around." His voice seemed to be back as it had been back at the door. It was almost cold and distant, like when they had first meet. Though knowing Nai she could tell that he was still showing a small bit of care towards her. As he had took in her modesty and all. Irith suddenly pinged at him, she had been silent for so long until now. 'Emer, it seems that you've finally come to realize something more than destroying stuff... You have something to pr-' She was cut off as Emer removed her from his thoughts. He didn't care to hear her finish that statement as he awaited Nai's response about what she had to ask him.
'I think I'll wait to answer you on that one Irith... As I'm still unsure myself if she's something I will protect. Because as you stated she'd become an enemy of mine in the end. Well technically Alith had stated that, so I believe that it would be a bad idea for me to become so attached to her... Especially at this time, though it seems she's becoming a bit more relaxed around me. Which is bad... As I'm slowly becoming relaxed around her... I'm not just following her orders right now because she has my contract, but because she asked me too... It's been so long since I've felt kindness and that day she had done nothing but shown me that kindness till now. Even when I had lost myself in a rage... But I won't be able to control it without proper training... which I will be doing soon... But to make her happy, I'll wait till my body is completely healed at the moment...' Irith remained silent for a moment standing there waiting for him to continue. But she knew he wouldn't continue his thoughts right now. As he was still thinking of a way to control his rage so nothing like before happens again.

“Well purchasing something for ones betterment is always a good thing. I mean I have weights sewn into my leggings, boots, wristguards and my undervest. So I understand the heavier weight weighing you down. As I still have them on and should really wash I think.” Nodding to the Ryashi she smiled at her with her usual big grinning smile. Despite the slight unease she felt Ninjin felt right at home here for some reason. Though as Nai asked if she had a second set of clothes to change into she shrugged. Thinking for a moment on whether or not she had any spare clothing to wear but she pushed it from her mind as she did not really care. She was a lot more casual about her appearance since her earlier days.
“I could go fetch you a change of clothing from the cave there Nai unless you want to do it on your own? Otherwise I think I may take advantage of this home and take a shower. Long days of training and well.” She motioned at her pants which where still partially stained with indigo blood. “I think a shower and good wash will be in order for myself and my gi. Make it so that I am at least presentable around this wonderful home.” Though she stopped talking as Nai spoke about her father changing colors and she laughed lightly. Nin had never met Nai’s father but to her he sounded like a strong man with convictions yet about his own daughter he seemed flabbergasted and easily frustrated.
“Well it would not hurt and if your opponent used one then perhaps he was unsure of his abilities and had to keep it as a crutch… Though I have to admit after watching you recover from one I am so tempted to purchase a few for myself and carry them with me. Just as you say… Just in case I would need them either to escape or overwhelm my opponent. Though if you want to find the place where I found it I can give you a lift over there and back. Though after I leave I think that memorizing the path or us just walking it once might be in order.” As Nai asked to be excuse she waved her off. To Ninjin she smiled and chuckled lightly. IT was obvious that she was enjoying the momentary sit on the couch as she rose to her feet. Waiting for Nai-Ran to begin her walking toward Emer’s location she left and went toward the bathing facilities that she had seen in her wandering around the home.
Slipping into facilities she glanced around the impressive sized room. Glancing around she saw the private suites off to the side of the main room of sinks. Sticking her head into each of them she had seen a large bath that could of easily fit five people with showers in the other private stalls around the central tub. Checking around she found a collection of towels inside of a small room off to the side of the room. Grabbing a towel and what she noticed was a large robe she smirked as she slid into one of the suites.the shower suite she locked the door behind her. Reaching into the stall she started up the water and as she awaited the water to heat up she slipped off her gi and underwear.
Taking a few steps into the warm water she felt the ki from Emer settle down. Feeling Nai standing just beside the ki she knew as Emer she figured he had stopped whatever it was he was doing to greet her. Shaking the thoughts from her mind she closed her eyes and leaned forward resting her head on her forearm which was placed against the wall. Her back was still stinging from the fight she had gotten into with the Arocsian a few weeks earlier and she gritted her teeth. She knew that it was going to leave a few scars across her back but it was something unavoidable. Though her thoughts then drifted toward Kojima and the fact that she was a week from meeting him again and trying to convince him that there where good saiyans. She let out a sigh as she now knew a second person that seemed outwardly hostile toward her without attacking her. She doubted however she could tame this one as she had with Kojima.
“Damn men… Why do all of you have to be such pig headed idiots. Always wanting to get revenge for this slight or that slight. Never once wanting to take a moment to think about what would happen if you began your course of actions.” She grumbled to herself as she lightly punched the wall. There was not enough strength behind it to do any damage. Reaching down she turned off the water and took a step out and began to dry herself off. Letting her hair air dry as she patted off the majority of the water. Though it would air dry rather quickly as she threw the robe over her underwear and headed toward a nearby balcony and flew off back toward the cave and her stuff. Floating past Mimikku who did not even notice the redhead as she was absorbed in some busy work Ninjin got to her pack and found Nai’s belongings and set them aside in the section of the cave that had been told was hers as she grabbed a spare set of casual clothing. Pulling on the clothing she floated back to the house and slipped back in through the same balcony.
As she walked back around the house she found herself back in the main room and she took a seat back on the couch as she awaited the others to appear. Her red hair no longer tied up as she left it to loosely hang off her head over the back of the couch.

Nai-Ran was quite grateful that Ninjin was willing to assist her even though she had already done so much for her, both with the clothes and getting ahold of some Senzu Beans. It would probably be a good idea for the red haired hybrid to keep some handy as well with people like Oni wandering the Earth. Maybe she could also pick up a couple for Emer when she got the money. Perhaps if he used a Senzu Bean when his body became overworked Nai-Ran wouldn’t have to keep getting on his case about allowing his body to recuperate. Then again, knowing him he might just keep use one keep going anyway, pushing himself even further after that...
Before Nai-Ran had left Ninjin’s company, she tossed out another word she didn’t recognize. That was the second time that happened since entering the house. Shower? Elevator? The Ryashi would need to get herself more acquainted with such terms if she was going to be staying there. All of that studying her father demanded of her and not once did she ever read up on the culture or contraptions used by other races. It was a shame, really. The serpentine lass couldn’t get enough of that subject back on Appodorra. She had to settle for picking up odd baubles and devices that tourists had pawned off whenever they popped up in the local market.
As she sat in front of the door, the young woman heard laughter coming from inside the room in front of her. What was going on in there? She didn’t have time to contemplate as the door slid open with lighting speed, revealing the tall Kagami that now stood in front of her. As he spoke, he definitely seemed like he was in a far better mood than earlier. That was a good sign, as well as a huge relief. Nai-Ran had been half expecting him to just tell her to go away. Though, he seemed a little confused as to why she hadn’t used the ‘elevator’. ”This is actually my first time in a proper Earth home. I’m... Well, I’m a bit lost on some of the things they might generally include. What’s an ‘elevator’?” Up until that evening, the only human structures Nai-Ran had ventured into were the shops in Satan City. She had never been inside anyone’s home before to have any sort of reference.
Before he answered her question, he slipped out of the cloak he had been wearing and placed it on her shoulders, pointing out that the blood and dirt wasn’t the only thing wrong with her state of dress. ”Hmm?” The Ryashi looked down at her shoulder, her cheeks already tinged with red at the mere mention of her possibly being exposed. Burying a knife in Nai-Ran’s shoulder had been the very first thing Oni had done in combat. She already knew that the cut it had left in her dress and the blood that had soaked into it had ruined it, and hadn’t paid much attention to the garment after that. The young woman had been too concerned about the shoulder beneath it that had slowly become more painful and unresponsive as the fight had gone on. Sure enough, all of that moving around since the initial cut had pulled at the fabric and caused it to rip even further. It was to the point where the cloth covering that shoulder was hanging on by little more than a few threads at the hem of the armhole, causing that side of the garment to sag dangerously close to her chest.
Nai-Ran unfolded her hands and brought them up to tug the edges of the cloak tighter around her. ”Oh... Um, th-thank you,” she said quietly before once again clearing her throat. Her face still a touch on the rosy side. That was something else she would need to work on. Those that governed the sands they resided in mustn’t allow themselves to get flustered in front of others. She had to remain calm and collected at all times. That part was going to be much more difficult to keep in check. Nai-Ran seemed to be getting herself into all sorts of situations that left her blushing furiously since her arrival on Earth. She had never run into anything like them back home, so wasn’t sure how to deal with that part yet.
Now that she was properly covered again, Emer’s voice had returned to being somewhat cold. Well, his friendlier tone had been nice while it had lasted. What had triggered the change this time? He could be so hard to read... ”At its core, this is still a human home. I’m unfamiliar with a lot of what I’m seeing. Specifically, where might I find the bathing facilities?” she asked, finally getting to why she disturbed him in the first place. ”Back on my world, we bathe using a special dust. Since I arrived here, I’ve been using the stream. I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking for here.”

Emer sat there for a moment listening to Nai. It seemed that she hadn't lived or been insider anywhere for long. As it seemed she had no clue what an elevator was. 'She's just as helpless as I am at some things... Kinda funny like that...' Shaking his head slightly he just smiled. "Well, I'll tell ya what, down at the end of the hall there. Is the elevator, see those black doors there? It will take you between the three floors without needing for you to use the stairs. I figured that it would be better for ya, instead of you climbing up the stairs."He said pointing down at the black doors away from them. She seemed to be lost and confused at the moment. As he saw her face go from a happy look, to almost confused as his voice had changed again. But at the mention of her own top the girl seemed to turn a small shade of crimson across her cheeks. It wasn't till she looked down to see for herself, that she lit up almost like a Christmas light.
She seemed to wrap his cloak around her tighter as he had placed it over her. It seemed she was indeed a bit embarrassed about what had just transpired. She was certainly an easy one to embarrass at the time. Soon she began to speak about the reason she had interrupted him. It seemed that she really was lost on this planet... Even he had known about human housing, as on several of his missions, involved coming to earth from time to time. But now that he was actually living here, he had learned more than he ever thought of. "Ahh, well I suppose that is true... I saw how people reacted to you, so I don't believe there was a chance for you to be brought into someone's home. But at the same time, I figured with you going to the city a lot, that you found out about some of these things." His voice was light as he spoke now. It seemed he wasn't as distant as he appeared when speaking about the topic of her relaxing. It probably struck in Nai's head... That he was actually concerned about her well being. As he was only cold and distant when he suggested her to do something that would benefit her.
She began speaking about the stream only a couple of yards away, and how she had bathed in it. Emer had as well, and she knows that as she's stumbled upon him on it at least once before. But then she mentioned something about cleaning herself with some type of special dust. To him that didn't sound appeasing, as it would mean having something gritty against your body, and it probably didn't smell to good around her home planet. As with his own thoughts about how he had gone without a bath for a few weeks, at times even a month among the saiyans. And that was definitely not an appealing smell to anyone. Getting his head back to the topic Emer reached down and grabbed her hand. It was small compared to his, and she seemed to have fairly smooth skin now that he was paying some attention to the serpentine lass. "Well, I guess we'll take you to one now." His grip gave her a small pull as he began to walk towards the elevator.
To her, his hand was rough and scarred. But at the same time since his body temperature was higher than most saiyans, who where considered to be one of the warmest race, his hand had a harboring warmth to it. That would be nice to be next to during a cold day. He waited for Nai to fully come into the elevator before he pressed a button, the black doors closing in front of them and clicking shut. Soon he hit a small number that had said one, meaning the first floor. Soon the elevator seemed to rocket down towards the first floor. For a moment she would feel herself in a state of limbo, as it would feel as if she was falling, but at the same time, she could feel herself still be planted firmly on the ground. Waiting for a moment she could see Emer looking at her just watching her expressions on the elevator. Suddenly another ding and the falling feeling stopped. As the doors slid open he lead her once more.
Coming to a room at the end of the first floor, it seemed to be on the opposite ends of the one he had went into earlier. She could tell it was decorated in the colors that she had purchased for the cave. It seemed a bit off with the rest of the colors in the house, but she could guess that he had done this for her sake. So she didn't get lost and stumble into someone in another room. God knows what would happen, if she did. She was so easily embarrassed that it could almost be taken advantage of. Letting go of Nai's hand Emer pushed open the door to reveal a room, that had been set up similar to her cave. The flooring was made of sand, there had been the rock she loved to curl up on inside of there. And towards the other end of the room was what the humans called a tanning room. Though mostly it was used for getting warm.
Pointing a finger to a red door he smiled. "Right there is the shower, you go in there. You're clothes go into the basket right beside the door before you enter it." He said changing his finger to the small black basket right in front of it. "When you get inside there'll be a screen on the other end of the room. It'll ask three options at the beginning. One is a massage, it'll cause the water to pelt you stronger, and use different rhythms once and a while. The second option is a small water fall. Or like the stream over there. And the last option is like a steam. It'll put out the moisture like being inside of a cloud. It'll be a soft clean that you can wipe yourself down with, if you're sore, it'll be better to use that option." His voice was soft right now. As it seemed he was enjoying leading her around to show her what was her own now. "Now, there's also the temperature setting when you select an option. Make sure you set it to something you can stand, as you have to put it in manually. It'll take a minute to heat up, but the water won't come out till it gets to that temperature."
That was all there was to using the bathing facility in this house. It had been simple, with little complexity to it. "The shampoo, and conditioner are supplied through the little push nozzles on the right inside the room. They come out as like a foam, but you'll be able to see the "push here" and below it will say, shampoo or conditioner." He said looking at her. Once he had finished explaining he turned and began to walk out of the room. "There's more of those garments you like to wear in the closet to the left, it's the almost pink color shelves over there. I remember the size of what ya wear, as I wash them for ya time to time when I do my own. And went ahead and selected it to add some in there." Opening the door he closed it behind him, leaving her in the room alone. Open exiting the room he wound up back in the main hall. As he began walking back towards the entrance he noticed Ninjin began sitting on the couch.
He remembered Nai saying that the red headed woman, was indeed a half saiyan... Though as he had promised her he wouldn't attack her, and yet for some reason he didn't feel the rage he did when he had fought the saiyans in front of Nai's cave it was strange. Shaking his head clear of the thoughts, it probably had to do with the fact he was following orders, and at the same time. It would seem that he had been just fooling himself with thinking that he was doing it because of some contract. But truly it was just to keep Nai happy, as she had helped him when she knew nothing about him. If Ninjin looked over to her right, she'd see the tall Kagami standing in just his pants. The dirty bandages seemed to cover his wounds. They hadn't been changed just yet, as he just placed the ones he had back on himself. The wrappings went from his chest, just under the shoulders, down towards his abdomen and stopped. His arm was wrapped in a similar dirty bandage.
She could see him better now, with his white hair, that seemed to change colors depending on how the light hit it, and his scarred face looking at her. His deep red eyes seemed to be piercing into her. "Hello." He said trying to see how far he could make a conversation go, before he got irritated of her... Though he had a small bit of gratitude towards her, for bringing Nai home. And saving her life at the same time. He could at least show a little respect towards the half breed.

Opening her eyes Ninjin glanced up and off to the side as in her mind she felt the presence of Emer off to her right side. Her eyes slowly taking in the Kagami’s bandaged form. Glancing at him she noticed just how dirty the bandages where and how his hair seemed to be shimmering and changing as she looked at him in the artificial lights. It was curious to her as she had never known someone that could or had that happen with them. A smile came across her face though as she heard him finally speak with her. Waving her hand at him lightly she smiled and spoke up. “Hello to you as well. You must be the one that managed to get this rather impressive place.”
Standing slowly she tossed aside the towel she had been resting her head on as her red hair was still partially damp from her own shower a short time earlier. As she stood she finally got the full effect of the height and size of Emer which to her was rather impressive. “I can see why Nai would hang around you. You look the part of a great fighter and one who should have respect given to them. Though your dirtied bandages gives me the impression that you do not change them all to often. Be it with your own hand or having Nai help you with it. “
Shifting her weight as she stood there looking at him some more she tried to figure out what all to speak with him about. As for her most times she met someone it was a brief talk then they would throw a punch and then a fight would break out. Though this time she was trying her best to not antagonize Emer any at all. For Nai-Ran she would keep herself calm and as diplomatic as she possibly could be. “Well I think I should introduce myself as I do not know if Nai told you about me or not. I am Ninjin a travelling fighter born and raised here on Earth. I met Nai in the Spinach Wastes a few weeks back. She was on her way to Satan City to purchase some items. We managed to defeat a Paozaosarus with our combined might and she earned a nice chunk of change from the farmers out there for the bounty against the dinosaur. Have to admit Nai is a rather scrappy fighter…”
Closing her eyes she sighed and turned her back to Emer. “Though the state I found her in… was rather hard on me. First time I have ever seen a friend in that state and it got to me. I can imagine you know how that is to feel as you look like someone that has seen his fair share of battles and wounded or dying individuals. As I brought her back I could not help but think that I should have been faster… If I had been stronger maybe I could of scared off her attacker or if I had been faster maybe I could of helped her. As the ki signature I felt was so familiar… Just like the demon that had stood before me at the Budokai Tenkaichi where all those damn Oozaru went berserk and tried killing all the spectators. Wasn’t strong enough to do anything to them then but now I could swat them down and protect the people without so much as a thought…”
She turned and she had her fist clenched tightly as she opened her eyes and looked right at Emer in his red eyes. Using her ki sense she was trying to get a gauge of the tall Kagami. “Can I ask. If I found the one who hurt Nai and there was a way for me to get in contact with you to come and get some measure of revenge on them for what they did to Nai… Would you come to aid me in that?”

The blush cleared from Nai-Ran’s face as she turned to look where Emer was pointing. So behind those doors was an elevator? The young woman had seen the same pair of black doors on the first floor, but hadn’t been inclined to check them out yet. They definitely stood out though. She had had no idea that behind them sat another way to move between floors. She was curious as to how it worked. If it meant that she didn’t have to try to maneuver the staircase with her aching tail, she was all for giving it a try.
Emer’s voice had changed yet again. It was a bit confusing with how often it had shifted since she had returned, but this chance wasn’t unwelcome. He sounded a lot warmer. Was he being friendly with her after all, or was she just being naïve again? It wasn’t easy for her to tell, as this was the most time she had spent with anyone that wasn’t in some way influenced by her father. Sure there were her three best friends back home, but they didn’t count. The four of them had known each other since before any of them had had their first bout of shedding. ”It’s a reaction I’m hoping will change once I spend more time around them. I actually did have a chance to stay the night in someone’s home shortly after I met Ninjin. However, I was in a hurry to get to Satan City before nightfall so I ended up declining. Perhaps it’s a good thing that I did since I ended up bumping into you that same day,” she commented with a light chuckle. Really it was more like he was the one that ended up bumping into her since, like many others had before him that day, he had ended up tripping over her tail.
Nai-Ran winced a bit as he grabbed her hand and started pulling her down the large hallway. He wasn’t being rough, but her muscles hadn’t been ready for it. The serpentine lass got over the discomfort quickly and slithered along beside him so that he wasn’t tugging anymore. Being led around by the hand like this felt strange but not completely unfamiliar. It wasn’t just from the obvious size difference between their hands either. The only times she had been led around like this was during the formal gatherings that father hosted where she was handed off to whichever important guest her father deemed fit for the evening. Here she wasn’t expected to dance or make small talk though. The scars and callouses that covered his hand from years of battle and rough conditions set the situation apart from when it was a high society Ryashi that had taken her hand as well. It was a lot warmer too... It actually felt really nice.
Upon reaching the black doors, Emer pushed a button on the wall. The doors slid open revealing a tiny room behind them. It certainly didn’t look like it led anywhere. With how the Kagami spoke of it, there was surely more here than met the eye. Nai-Ran moved into the room after Emer, making sure that her tail was all the way in. With the press of another button, the room ‘dinged’ and the doors closed. Then they started moving...
The young woman tensed up; her eyes shifted nervously around the small room. It felt like they were falling. However, there was clearly solid ground beneath her tail. She looked up at Emer to see that he was calmly watching her face. However strange the sensation felt to her, she guessed what was happening was normal going off of his reaction. The room ‘dinged’ again. Once more the floor beneath her felt stable as the doors in front of the two of them opened and she was led out of the room. Nai-Ran didn’t enjoy the awkward feeling of falling without actually falling. Still, it hadn’t put any strain on her tail. She would simply have to bear with it until she was completely healed up.
The Ryashi was brought to a room that was decorated in vivid pinks and oranges before Emer had finally released her hand. It looked like it had been customized with her in mind. If the colors hadn’t already tipped her off to that fact, it was made incredibly obvious by the next room they entered. The floor wasn’t made out of wood at all. Instead, it was covered in sand with an inviting looking smooth rock in the center of the room that looked perfect for napping on.
Perhaps it wasn’t just Nai-Ran being naïve after all. All of this seemed like an awful lot of trouble to go through for a mere contract holder when no order was issued to do so. On top of that, this seemed like more of a long term set up than a temporary one. If he really did just see her as nothing more than his current ‘owner’, then he was even more confused than she was to customize all of this to her tastes. Even if Emer hadn’t technically been released from his contract yet, he knew very well that that’s what her intentions had been from day one. She had made it no secret that she had been against the slave trade. To see that he was acting more like her friend after all brightened her mood. She still needed to keep on herself about how she carried herself around others, but at least now she wasn’t depressed about it.
A red door pointed out to her before Emer began explaining how to go about bathing herself in this place. She listened carefully to his instructions as he spoke. So there was a way to control the temperature of the water with such a mechanism? That would definitely make it more tolerable than the freezing water in the stream. Maybe bathing herself here wouldn’t be so bad. So far it hadn’t been anything to look forward to on this planet. After he had covered everything, Emer turned to leave the room.
Once left to her privacy, Nai-Ran took a long look around the room and let out a sigh. Everything here was extravagant, even compared to what she was used to. It almost didn’t feel right to be living in such a place for during her Ritual of Discovery, even though it was never said that one had to live in squalor. It’s not like she had used anything from home to get there either. Maybe it just wasn’t how she imagined it. Oh well, she wasn’t going to complain about staying in such a nice place.
She cautiously glanced around the room to make sure she was alone before she peeled her ruined dress off of her skin. The young woman didn’t really expect Emer or Ninjin to walk in on her or anything like that. It was more out of habit than anything else. Once freed from it, Nai-Ran examined the black and gold fabric with a frown. Aside from the right shoulder that was completely sliced open, it was covered in several other small rips and tears. Even if it had been possible to remove the blood stains that covered almost half of it, there was no way it would ever be fit to wear again. Her gloves weren’t looking much better either. With a sigh, she deposited all three in the black basket that had been pointed out to her. Emer’s cloak was folded neatly and placed on the floor beside the basket since tossing it in with her clothes would have just gotten it even dirtier.
Once she ventured through the red door, she found that the shower had been easy enough to operate. It was controlled via touchscreen and listed the options that Emer had gone over. While he had recommended the third option to her since her muscles were still sore, Nai-Ran didn’t really know how one would bathe in a cloud. Instead she opted to go with the most familiar option, the waterfall setting. Then it was just a matter of making sure the water was plenty warm.
Nai-Ran eyed the nozzles labeled ‘shampoo’ and ‘conditioner’ while she was waiting for water to heat up. She was told they came out like foam, but what were they for? She didn’t really want to go back out and ask about them. Her form was already bare and she was too filthy to soil any of the new garments that Emer had pointed out. No, this was something she would experiment with for herself. The serpentine lass pushed lightly on one of the buttons to have dollop of said foam be deposited on the palm of her hand. It smelled kind of nice and soft to the touch, but didn’t really answer her question.
”Eep!” she yelped a bit when the shower head beeped and water began to cascade out of it while she was still trying to figure out the use for shampoo and conditioner. Oh forget it, she could just ask about it later. She had survived this long without whatever they were supposed to do. Unlike the water she normally bathed in, this felt pretty soothing to what remained of her aches and pains. It still felt weird running across her scales so she probably wouldn’t spend too long in there, but it felt great on the more humanoid half of her body. Nai-Ran quickly scrubbed herself down, plucking the leaves and twigs that had gotten tangled in her hair during the fight. There was a mirror on the wall that she was constantly checking herself in just to make sure she didn’t miss any spots. Once she was satisfied, she turned the water off via the same touch screen from earlier, toweled herself off, and tossed on another fitted dress.
Finally feeling refreshed and presentable, Nai-Ran closed her eyes and concentrated in order to locate Emer’s and Ninjin’s ki signatures. Apparently both of them were back in the main room on the first floor where she had left Ninjin on the couch. Hoping they were getting along alright, Nai-Ran resumed her proper posture with a smile on her face and slithered off to go join them. There was still a dark ring around her tail indicating where it had been blown off by Oni. However, it didn’t look nearly as bad as it did before her shower. It would likely be gone within the next several months.
The serpentine lass slid across the hallway’s wooden floor with her head held high. She spotted her two friends as she rounded the corner. They appeared to be speaking with each other about something. At least Emer didn’t look unhappy about whatever they were talking about. Nai-Ran trusted him not to attack Ninjin as he had said, but she had been worried that he might have still been difficult for the redhead to be around with his attitude towards those of Saiyan descent. From what it looked like, so far so good. ”My apologies for the delay,” she said with a smile and a polite bow as she drew nearer. While in actuality there hadn’t been all that much time between her fight with Oni and her shower, it felt like forever since she last had clean skin and hair. ”Thank you very much for your assistance Emer. All of these human devices around here are fascinating.”
Nai-Ran gingerly coiled her tail beneath her once she was close enough to speak comfortably with them. The shower had helped a lot to relax those muscles, but it would be a while before they were completely better. It was at this point where she noticed Ninjin’s clenched fist. Was everything going as smoothly as she first thought? The Ryashi blinked a couple of times before looking into the hybrid’s face., curious as to what they had been speaking about up until she entered the room. ”Is everything alright?”

Emer stood there for a moment looking down at Ninjin, as she seemed to be fairly complacent, and happy that he had spoken to her, as the younger woman seemed to stand up and begin walking towards him. She spoke about how he must of been the one to earn the house they currently stood in. "I don't think it's on the impressive side, I mean it was easy to get the money required to make this building. The tournament I entered was offering more to the winner, should they lose to their champion. But I wouldn't follow through with that, so instead I got my money cut in half, for not showing a spectacle for the audience." Emer's eyes didn't leave the girl as she began to look him over. It seemed that she was taking in everything about him as he stood there. But it seemed that she wasn't done yet. Cause as she got closer she began to talk about how she could understand Nai having him around. A small scoff escaped his lips as he looked towards the end of the hall, where Nai's room had been.
"I do not need anything to do with respect. I fight to continue living and that is all I do. She's not lucky to have me here, as I bring nothing but death to this place." His eyes turned back to Ninjin, and she could see that it was literally looking into what could be best described as a walking corpse. Her comment about his bandages made him look down, sure they had been dirty but he didn't have any more to switch into. Shaking his head slightly. "They've been sterilize and reused so much, that they've become tainted and won't be white like they where before. Everything I've tried has just turned them back to this brownish tan color that they are now." To him though, Ninjin seemed to be less embarrassed as Nai was, as he was literally shirtless around everyone at the moment. Emer suppose this was probably cause Nai had been raised with royalty, and that she hadn't been around everyone long enough not to get as embarrassed as she does. "Though, to be honest... When I get my contract I'll be leaving her here... So that she'll no longer be in danger."
Emer knew that it was too dangerous for him to stick around here. "For now, consider this place as Nai's house though... So whatever she tells you stays. As this will be hers once I move along. She already knows, that I probably won't be back if I succeed in what I am trying to do. As it would mean that I'll be either dead, or I've been killed." He said, though it could be confusing to those that didn't understand. Dying he pictured as just winning his fight, even if it caused the death of him. Being killed meant that he wasn't able to finish his mission at the time. And well, that's exactly how it was in the saiyan army. If you succeeded and then died, it was just seen as if you had died. If you lost your mission, and had failed it was considered being killed. Such loose terms had been used with everything. And yet it seemed that they had the same meaning here on Earth from what he could tell from the others. Though, it seemed that Ninjin had something else to do, she was sitting there explaining who she was to him. He had already been warned about her through Nai, so it wasn't something he cared to hear again.
"I wouldn't get too friendly with me woman." He said being as polite as he could at the moment when he was looking down at her. His voice seemed to be slightly agitated at the moment. "I know what you are, and who your father was, due to the memories shared between me and the other Kagami that lives here. As Nai has requested I haven't attacked you yet, simply because you harbor saiyan blood in you. The saiyans are a plague that I will wipe out for destroying my race, and making us into slaves bound by contracts, that can either make or break us." He said looking down at her. But it seemed that the girl was lost talking in her little world. Speaking about the time her and Nai had first meet. And how they had defeated a thing that was called a Pao- whatever it was. Emer didn't really care what it was. She spoke about how Nai had been a scrappy fighter in the time. A small shrug escaped his shoulders as he spoke. "Everyone has their own styles of fighting, for all we could know. It was her very first fight with you at that time. So it would of been putting her in danger." His bright red eyes continued to stare down into the young girls.
But something was strange with this half breed, when she began to speak about that of how she had found Nai. Something changed a little, it seemed that she was upset at herself. Saying what if's and such. "I'll tell you what girl, you can sit here and twiddle your thumbs all day and say these what ifs. Or go on about how you could of gotten there faster. But, in my opinion count your blessing for finding them alive in the first place. And not finding a corpse, never hope for the better, and always expect the worst. It'll keep you alive longer, when you know that the weight of the situation sits on your shoulders. As you'll be able to take the grasp of the concept into your own feelings." He let a small sigh escape his lips. As she continued to do so about the Budokai Tenkaichi thing she spoke about. Talking about how people where being killed by the Oozaru and how she wasn't able to do anything about them. "The form saiyans like to take, the giant monkey, sadly though they pose no threat to me... You speak of being able to handle them with a swipe of your hand."
Walking towards the girl he stood directly in front of her, his stomach and chest no more than a few inches from her. "Do so now, try to swipe me out of the way in front of you, I guarantee you will not be able too. Oozaru's are stronger than you believe... They're nearly three times as strong as I am... It won't be too easy for you to stop them. There was no difference between you back then and now. You've been too soft on yourself, you haven't let yourself feel true fear like that day. You won't do anyone any good in your current condition. You won't even pose much of a threat to most. You may be a decent challenge to me, as I've told Mimikku, but that's not saying much. As even I won't be able to take out an Oozaru at my current strength. I still need to train to do such. And even then, it won't be an easy task for me to complete." His voice was cold as he spoke about the monkeys. And to top it off he was literally putting her down about the way she choose to live her life. Even if he knew nothing else about her, the way she spoke irritated him. If it was that easy to be rid of the monkeys, he would of done so already.
He watched the girls fist clench tightly as she seemed to ask him a question. She spoke about finding whatever it was that had caused the damage to Nai, like she had received. Emer's cold gaze would meet hers once again. "I have no need to team up with you, As it is, under Nai's own word is why I have yet to attack you yet. But to answer your question... No I would not. Instead I'll make sure this being is dead by the time I find them." He said looking at Ninjin straight in the eyes. It seemed that this man was being serious at the time, about how he would have no need for her to participate in his fight with this being that had damaged Nai. "Until you can prove to me otherwise, about how strong you are, and that you could take care of those apes with no problem, then I don't believe you should continue hanging out claiming you could defeat them without so much of a thought." His face was void of emotion as he spoke to her.
Suddenly it seemed that Nai had found the two of them standing in the hallway talking with each other. As he looked over at her, she seemed to look exactly like she normally did. Her hair was picked clean of any twigs or leaves, and it seemed that she had been refreshed. The new clothes fit her nicely, as they had been the exact same thing as she wore before. Since he had washed the clothes several times. She spoke about being sorry for the delay, a small smile seemed to appear on Emer's face. "Don't worry about apologizing or thanking me. It is only natural to instruct someone onto something new. Just like learning how to walk or fight." Turning his attention back down to the half breed standing in front of him. Speaking loud enough for Nai to hear. "I was just telling her, on how she shouldn't be so cocky about taking down an Oozaru without thinking about it now. And I told her if she was that confident in her skills, than she should be able to do the same with me, as I'm on par with one of those beast."
"To continue on that note, I told her not to question about if she could do anything better, the more you hope, the more you wonder about what happens in a fight. Or what has already happened and blaming yourself already shows weakness. And I stated to her, that the way she currently lives, she won't be able to defend anything she cares about. And that she should always expect the worst when it comes to a fight. Because when you hope for the best, and you're disappointed it destroys you both physically and mentally. You will no longer be able to keep going with that kind of thought. I would recommend listening to me... Ninjin." He didn't use the word half-breed this time showing some respect to the girl. " And she asked if I would fight with her against the being that did this to you. But on my own terms I will make sure they're dead when I cross them." Nai could tell that Emer was serious about that last part.
Turning his attention back to Nai he gave a small Bao (Bow, jokes now.). "If you would excuse me for tonight, the house is to your use. If you need anything else from me, than state so now before I leave. As it is getting late, and we all need our sleep for now. I think it would be best for us to go ahead and relax. Nai, I suggest the latter as an utmost important for you. As you've received the worst of this ordeal. And Ninjin, I suggest you recover your energy, or you will collapse soon. I'm sure you didn't tell Nai, and she probably couldn't sense it like I can with my capabilities." He said speaking of his advance Ki sense. "But, you're power level seems to be waning from flying around at top speed, with all that weight, and to add on a person's dead weight. You've tired yourself out because of that. And if you are going to try and prove that you're strong enough to move me out of your way, you will fail at this moment. Whenever you wish to try your luck, just come find me in the gravity chamber, and try to push me around." He said with a sharp smile on his face.
As Emer speaking he looked over at Nai-Ran and gave a small bow towards the girl. "I'll be taking my leave for this session. I believe it would do us all some good to take a breather, and it probably won't be a bad idea for us all to go to sleep. As I'm sure we are sore and tired. I know I am at least. I'll catch you two ladies in the morning. Till then I'm retiring to my quarters." Emer turned leaving the two of them standing there speechless. Nai could honestly say that Emer had never spoken that much before. He was generally one to stay to himself about his thoughts on saiyans. And yet here he was, telling the girl that she shouldn't underestimate the saiyans true form. Alith seemed to stay quiet during his time of talking, as she didn't feel the need to step in front of a flaming tornado that seemed to be going off insider of Emer's mind at the moment.
