The hills and valleys that comprised Heaven usually had the feeling of peace and order. Fluffy little soul clouds and those that had managed to will together a corporeal form usually sat around having a nice chat, and despite the odd disagreement, most of Heaven's denizens were the agreeable sort... "UURRRRRGH!! THIS IS RIDICULOOUUUS!"At least, all but one. That odd one out, was an Ogre-Saiyan hybrid by the name of Corza Hofferson; she had returned to the afterlife for the third time this year in order to search for her lost cousin Capper. All of her previous searches in both Heaven and HFIL would've logically lead her to believe that Capper was in fact not dead... However, she just had to be sure; it was familial instinct. She wouldn't give up until she either found his spirit wandering the Afterlife or was witness to the very welcome miracle of that little geeky gremlin showing up on the family's doorstep on Vegeta while she was on a return trip. For the moment, the young hybrid was simply too agitated with her lack of progress to continue searching, and simply sat on a small hill with a scrunched up, annoyed expression on her face. Polara was floating through the soft green plains of heaven, the only thing missing on her ghostly form were her legs; which had a black ghost's tail in place of them. Her time in heaven was well spent, whether simply relaxing on the soft grass or hanging out with a few other Arcosians; the female found something to do to keep herself busy. It wasn't too long before the ex-general picked up on a frustrated yell, of which she went towards to investigate.
The tone definitely held a feminine ring to it, seeping frustration and desperation. Blinking her eyes, the deceased mother encountered the hill upon which the hybrid sat. Sure she'd met Articho; but other than that after her devouring by that oozaru made her horribly distrustful of Saiyans. Thankfully, she was already dead and had a ghostly body which could phase through certain things. "Something wrong?"

"Oh noOooOoO, nothing is wrong. I'm just yelling into the perfectly peaceful ether of Heaven for absolutely no reason at all!!" Corza's face flickered into an empty deadpanned expression as she gestured to the ever-expanding fields in front of them, painfully slowly to accentuate her all too sarcastic tone. With a disdainful scoff her grumpy face returned as she looked forward.
Corza couldn't sense anything in terms of a life force near her so it was clear that whoever owned that other feminine voice had no body and was simply a floating soul. At the moment they presented no threat nor did they present the potential to help as far as Corza was concerned, so she didn't feel guilty for being so prickly.
After a solid minute or two of ignoring the new arrival, Corza noticed from the corner of her eye that the lost soul hadn't left her alone... So she was curious, looking over to her side, she eyed up the Arcosian soul. 'An Arcosian thats concerned about other people? Thats new. Not impossible, but... New.' Initially her irritable gaze didn't change, but after some thought she figured there was a reason this Arcosian was in Heaven instead of HFIL, so her expression softened slightly. "Hmph. Sorry. Don't worry about it. Not like you could help anyway, given the state you're in."

Polara blinked as Corza snapped at her, surprised but not angry in the slightest as she was ignored. When she was ignored, she was about to go leave after a little while of silence only to note the hybrid had started looking at her. Looking back, the expression of the half ogre was slightly softer but at the same time had an annoyed, angry feel about it. The apology took the female faintly off guard, but all in the same she gave a nod.
"I might be able to help in some way. You seem upset about something; what's agitating you so?" Proceeding to hover down onto the grass, her black tail was laying just above her soul's form. "Is a family member missing, or have you lost a friend to the afterlife's maw?" Sure this being was an Arcosian; but she was not a typical one. Rather, she was far more gentle than her appearance let on.

"Oh yeah, suuuure, you can help. As soon as you can figure out who is and isn't in the Afterlife!" Corza growled, hugging her legs towards her chest. She tried with all of her might not to simply explode for no reason, but she couldn't deal with her current string of failures in finding her lost cousin.
The spirit moved closer, and having heard Corza's second outburst; she pretty much hit the nail on the head; and while the hybrid appreciated the gesture, she was still a stubborn gal and would rather do things on her own if she could help it. "Ugh, yeah, maybe!! What's it to you?!" Corza released herself and simply fell back to lay on the ground, having little energy to keep her voice raised, lest she disturb others or cause a bigger scene than she already had. "I just said; unless you can tell me, with one hundred percent certainty if someone is here or not, then no. You can do about as much as I can! Rzzrfffrzrrfh..."
Despite her current disposition, Corza couldn't help but be curious about this lingering Arcosian soul. There was clearly a reason for her to be in Heaven for one, but what exactly was it? So far she had only asked what ailed the young Ogre Hybrid, in a way that was similar to... A concerned parent rather than a typical nosy interloper. "Its complicated."

Polara noticed the aggressive behavior displayed by the hybrid warrior, who seemed pretty insecure at that as she was snapped at once more after being hit with a wave of sarcasm. The other female laid back on the grass, to which she did so and stared up at the blue sky. "I've been here for a while, but if I had lost a relative I would search the stars for centuries if I had to, to find them. Complication is a barrier you can overcome, if you wish to do so."
The talk about relatives made her miss her three sons and her husband greatly, sighing quietly in response as the wind blew over the deceased mother of three and the saiyan hybrid close by.

"Well y'cant've been here for too long since you're still, uh..." Corza stared for a moment, trying to think of the right description for the Arcosian's current form. "You're still about...." The hybrid mumbled, doing some sort of bizarre calculation in their head. "Ninety six percent spirit cloud. Yeah, that's it."
Corza closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to calm herself, if only slightly. She felt as though she owed an amicable encounter that much at least. Even this Arcosian seemed to hold family close to their heart, and Corza could relate completely. "If you had the power to, would you travel here to the Afterlife, and scour both the highest hills of Heaven and the deepest pits of Hell-- of your own will-- to be absolutely sure of someone's whereabouts?" The hybrid's eyes opened, and her expression was almost radically different, tired, and sad. Still present was the feeling of anger, yet it was now clear it was internal; aimed towards herself. "Its all riding on me. Besides my mother-- who needs to keep my dad in check right now-- I'm the only one in my family that can do it. I'm responsible, and what do I have to show for it? Nothing... Now I'm losing my shit and venting to some poor soul that hardly needs to hear this kinda crap on top of their own problems..."

Polara shook her head before realizing the sky was pink; listening to the hybrid who seemed rather torn apart. A serious question arose, would she do something of that level on her own will? Before the mother could answer, the ogre hybrid had returned to speaking about their problems. "You have a special gift, miss. Listen to what I'm about to say. You cannot control the actions nor the wills of others, no matter how much you want to. Life has plans for you, and whoever you're missing will find you in due time."
Looking back to the pink sky, the mellow aura of heaven itself washed over the calm female; further soothing her lonely, agitated heart. "I have been searching the galaxy for my sons, of which fled with me during the destruction of Arcose itself. One of them is on Earth, where it's safe, but I haven't been able to find my husband no matter how hard I try. Yes, I would search both planes if I had the ability, I will scour the land until I find who I'm missing."

"Hardly special if I can't bloody well use it right." Corza scoffed, gently hitting the ground with a free fist. "Kind of a sucky plan, to be honest..." The hybrid shied her gaze away from the Arcosian spirit when she mentioned the invasion of their own home. Corza wasn't exactly opposed to that endeavor for she didn't think very highly of Arcosians as a whole given their haughty attitude and the historical rivalry between the AE and the SSE, however muted it might have been under the now defunct Great Galactic Treaty.
The mention of Earth hit a bit closer to home, given the circumstances. "Yeah, well that counts for one family member between our combined lost ones." Corza's focus was still on Capper, but the concept of losing more of her loved ones caused her stomach to churn. Just because she was suffering didn't mean that others couldn't or didn't all the same. "Losing your entire family though? I'll admit That's... Rough." Even if she couldn't find the right words, her tone could potentially carry the emotion across well enough.

Polara looked down to the tip of her tail; which would be her foot if the current body she had was corporeal. Being drained of her power left her totally lost and even feeling powerless got a whole new term when she'd been killed and sent to this plane of existence. It was nice here, yes, but the fact that she was in an entirely different plane of existence from her family hurt a lot.
"Yes, my ten nephews, three sons, my husband, my brother, my father who was killed by my brother, and others. Being away from all of them hurts a lot more than normal when you die, and the only thing about getting crushed by a giant Oozaru and having my neck snapped before I was digested alive, the only thing that hurt, was I failed to protect my son from that monster; who is now roaming the earth."

Corza jolted into a seating position with her tail fraying out in surprise as soon as the Arcosian spirit mentioned how they died. "Hey, woah woah, I didn't ask how you got sent here! That isn't any of my business!" So this spirit was crushed, and painfully eaten alive. Now that was an absolutely garbage way to meet your end. Corza could only hope that if Capper had died that it was quick and painless; even though he was weak he would still deserve an honorable death as far as she was concerned.
"Now that you mention it though, did they have like... No respect for the battle or something? Of course I'm assuming they had control over themselves while going ape, but it doesn't sound like they did." Corza shook her head and scoffed before muttering under her breath. "Absolutely no concept of true beauty..."

Polara looked at Corza as the female jolted in surprise; what thoughts were going on in the other's head were likely to her what the actual hell thoughts. Regardless, a weird calm remained over the ex-general, who would listen as the hybrid spoke once more. "I got killed by Zucceta's sister, and yes, she had complete control of her glorified ape state." The tone of the female turned ominously sour as she spat out the foul name.
Zucceta.
The reason why she was here. This was all the pompous, arrogant queen's fault. "I'd like to punch her lights out with my own two hands for destroying my homeworld and keeping my family away from me." It wasn't just because of the two race's rivalries. It wasn't about the empire. It was the dead mother's family being taken away that upset her the most. "So, if you're a hybrid you seem to be half ogre; no halo."

"Wait..." Corza's brow furrowed as she tried to process the Arcosian's statement. "Sister?" Zucceta having a sister wasn't something Corza knew about, nor did she really believe it; something like that could almost be common knowledge given her position as Queen Of Saiyans-- if she had any family why wouldn't she train with them, become stronger and have them be a general or something? Maybe Commander Habana was Zucceta's sister, but something didn't exactly add up. "That doesn't make any sense. If you were the family of someone that strong, you'd basically be famous by association!"
The Ogre Hybrid tapped her chin in thought, what could he possibilities be? Did any of cousin Capper's 'Busted Family Checklist' apply to this situation? Corza wouldn't dwell on that for long. She sighed as her thoughts gravitated to Capper shortly after even thinking about something specifically related to him and his quirks. 'Just where are you dude...?'
Luckily, her unlikely conversational partner would soon draw her away from the funk she was in once again. They wanted to beat up Zucceta of all things! Zucceta could take care of herself anyway, though it wasn't like Corza could stop the Arcosian from wanting to do that, all things considered it was a justifiable desire... "Ehhh, focus on getting a body together first, yeah? Baby steps. Also, yes. Didn't the horns give it away?"

Polara sat there, musing silently as she watched her ghostly tail. "I have no idea, but she says it's true. I don't trust the monkey much, but both of them have such a hatred for Arcosians and a certain aura of arrogance that leads me to conclude the truth." Sighing, a bit annoyed at the fact she was so weak, Corza had the brilliant idea of pointing out the obvious. "Well, yeah. Can't get out with no body."
Of course she wanted to beat Zucceta to a pulp, the mother had justifiable reasons for wanting to do these actions. Her family was scattered, home planet trashed and void of life by some giant tree, and the ogre had to be alive. A question came in her head and the woman turned to Corza, asking one thing. "Is there any way you can go to Earth, if you can, and let someone named Hinawa know of my demise? She can pass it along to my son who's on earth as well."

"Uhhh... Actually, you can." Corza began, biting her upper lip in consideration for a moment. "I'd just advise that you didn't-- Really, anyone would advise that you didn't. You'd be causing yourself too much grief if you rushed out of here as a ghost. Trust me, I've seen it happen. Not pretty." The young hybrid shuddered. Ghosts were one of the worst problems an Ogre that's employed by the Afterlife Union had to deal with; they were in the Afterlife for a reason; so their spirit could recover for reincarnation! Not this silly business of lingering in the mortal realm if they didn't manage to get a body first! "Cuz uh, if you do that... You'll never get your body back. Ever."
"On a... Uh, more positive note I suppose I could pass that message along. If you promise you'll do these following things." Corza held up a fist, ready to count off, raising a finger each time she did so. "One; don't leave without a body, no matter how much you want to. Two; when you leave, don't pester King Yemma, just ask him politely and he'll take care of your exit. Three; Don't go to hell. You don't deserve it. You're here for a reason. Your boys are... Lucky to have someone like you." Corza smirked slightly, lowering her hand before asking a question of her own. "Mind tellin' me what she looks like? Also, whats your boy's name? Heck, whats your name?" In a flash, she brought out a pencil and a sketchbook... Now what did she want to do with that? "I'm Corza by the way. Corza Agnes Hofferson."
