Name: Dr. Katsuo Sashimi
Alias: N/A
Species: Human (Android template for stat/ability purposes)
Gender: Female
Age: 38
Appearance:
History:
Katsuo grew up in a coastal town in the west. Her father, Nimono Sashimi, was the CEO of a large pharmaceutical company. Though she grew up in his household he was always distant and strict. Her mother encouraged her to try new things and enjoy her childhood. However, Katsuo spent her youth studying hard in the hopes she would someday earn her fatherâs approval and inherit the family business. She was constantly standing in the shadow of her older brother. Aemono was a gifted student and his charisma combined with the fact that he was the first born son quickly earned him his fatherâs respect.
During high school Katsuo began volunteering at a local Sea Turtle Sanctuary. The breeding area of the turtles had become badly polluted and as a result many baby turtles didnât survive the hatching process and many older turtles became sick or injured. Katsuo was fascinated by the turtleâs unique properties and their connection to dinosaurs. It was around this time that Aemono was declared the successor of Sashimi Industries and Katsuo decided to pursue her passion.
She studied Marine Biology and Mechanics at a top University in the Western Capital (She double majored!). She was drawn to the mostly unexplored deep sea. Preferring to study creatures with unique abilities she hopes to make a discovery of note. She has studied various marine life with the ability to camouflage themselves. She is also an expert on bioluminescence and electric organs. She has recently grown tired of working for a large lab and has decided to pursue field work.
Starting Planet: Earth
Techniques:
Offensive
Support
[SU] APARV. (All purpose automated research vessel.) An advancement of an ancient Pilaf Machine, the APARV works as both a submarine (no tech needed because androids don't need to breath) and an aerial vehicle. Conveniently containable inside of a capsule.

[SU2] Passenger- Another character can ride inside of the APARV and gain the underwater breathing/flight- but can not perform attacks.
[SU] Capsules!- Dr. Sashimi has a variety of capsules that contain different objects. This works like magic materialization but for more mundane things- like a motorcycle, gasmask, a small house (once purchased from the store), extra clothes, radios, etc.

Androids
Wanted to work in a few more 'android-like' racial traits for these guys inspired by elements within the show, and embellish upon the stated 'weakness' of overdrive by changing how it functions. The dynamic makes androids a little more unique compared to other races while drawing on similar influences to bio-androids 'bio-metabolise'.
Overdrive
x3* 5000pl - see racial ability; Overdrive
Part transformation part racial ability.
The following abilities drew on inspirations such as Gero, 19 and 16, who demonstrated that machines can take injury a lot better than most normal races can(a fairly widespread advantage it seems), as well as the uncanny ability to elude the Z fighters senses.
Durability Same as arcosians, androids are also known for their sturdy construction and ability to continue functioning in spite of sustained damages. When activated while receiving an attack, durability makes your pl count as an additional x1 (defensively).
Artificial Energy
It was common for androids to have no detectable ki ,meaning they cannot be sensed. Not only does this mask their travel, but it means that if you're not careful they could well sneak up on you. Scouters however still work on androids, as they are designed to calculate threats and track targets rather than merely read ki.
Reconstruction
Android players can chose to be rebuilt for 1000 zeni after 'death' rather than going to otherworld(such as when lacking a 'soul'). If they continue to interject in a battle before receiving these repairs however, they will not be covered a second time.
Overdrive
Unlike conventional transformations, overdrive's multiplier can stack with other transformations. My proposal is however that it is offensive-only and thus does not enhance your defence when receiving attacks.
After each use the player must pay zeni to 'recalibrate' before they can use overdrive again. It's multiplier can be reduced if this maintenance isn't handled correctly.*
*Originally I had it that the mutiplier is always reduced and only unlocking your next trans will restore it, intended to make overdrive a last ditch resort, but I realised perhaps that has crossed from 'compelling trade-off' to 'dissatisfying'. So a thought that just occurred to me now is to put the choice in the players hands:
300z for a cheap maintenance, lowers multiplier by 1.
1500z for a proper recalibration, multiplier stays at current value.
3000z for a restoration, will set multiplier back to 3.
