While the ship was burning through the atmosphere, Ayumu could feel his eyes slowly move into a small squint, trying to gauge what was going on in the distance. Slowly making his body shudder at the realization of what was going on at this mere moment, a person in the forest standing nearby the location where he had always planned to land. A spot that was carved with multiple fist shaped blows as Ayumu made his voice known to the people riding the ship that it was nothing short of an amazing day as with loud smashing sounds and shakes he would feel the corners of his lips rise before running forwards towards the door of the ship, slowly starting to open with a wide grin visible. “Well, i will be shocked to see the that same set of glasses to... “ Before feeling a stutter in his voice. An old memory to his past, it was a fresh wound that was being scratched open as he would feel himself choke up. Bringing his hand, his large, strong hand up to his eyes while slowly wiping away the tears with a smile starting to become apparent as he just spoke towards the woman standing before him “It seems that our contract has not ended yet has it? The wages are not too good… But shall we talk up what we have missed if you do not mind?” Reaching out his hand happily. Secretary 3801632 PL - Hana, Ayumu dealio is known!

Having landed in a vast expanse of a forest clearing, the Majin woman known as Meringue had found herself just standing there and waiting. While under normal circumstances she would classify this as a complete waste of time, what she had sensed the prior afternoon was too telling of a sign to just simply ignore. Even if it did amount to nothing, sometimes you just had to take these risks. She gave a small shudder as the brisk Winter air began picking up as she looked to the sky, the sun setting behind the clouds to create a sea of orange that one’s eyes could just get lost in if they spent enough time there. “You old fool…” She said, briefly closing her eyes in order to take in the serenity of it all, her lavender eyes only opening once more when she felt the slight chill of a snowflake choosing to spend its brief existence atop her nose. It wasn’t until now did she begin to sense the flavour of familiarity slowly but surely beginning to become more refined, more pronounced in her mind. She gave a small sigh and closed her eyes once more, focusing on patience and professionalism above all else, her peace being once again interrupted by the sound of a distant impact, comparable to that of an explosion as a form of flying object parted the clouds and the skies themselves to make itself known. “As I live and I breathe…” Mused Meringue, watching the aircraft’s descent from the heavens to the point of its eventual landing, a softer impact sending blades of snow covered grass skyward to be taken away on the gusts of a Winter’s evening. The door of the craft made its presence known as it let out a long and drawn out hiss, compressed air of a lengthy space travel escaping from within its confines, sending the snowflakes in the air spiralling around sporadically. The clanging of feet on metal sounded as a relatively muscular man stepped out, whom she watched with great intrigue. He began to speak, barely holding against his own emotions as he held his hand out to her. She looked at it and gave a slight solemn bow, “I’m afraid I still cannot forgive you, but it is good to see your safe return, sir…” She said, looking back up with a smile. “I shall talk for as long as you need.”

While Ayumu saw her stern reaction, it was almost... Crushing in a sense, Ayumu knew what had happened to himself but would he be able to comprehend how crushing it would feel to have somebody vanish from your life with not a single comment? Feeling the heat from the ship slowly escape his body, Ayumu would keep attempting to move forwards as slowly his entire body became heavier and heavier. It was akin to the gravity chamber he often tried to tackle but kept failing on, Continuously torturing his body as the cold shivers from the snow landing on his skin made him freeze over, trembling fiercely. Droplets of warm water that came from his tear ducts had lost their warmth as he looked around at the white forest, the pool of water from the impact of the ship still resting behind himself its impact heat. Yet there was nothing that could warm himself as he just looked down at the ground and made a few strands of energy appear around his own body before a thick coat became visible over his wife beater, the top large enough to partially cover his face before he started to push it downwards to make sure to be able to see you once again. "I have little to say, i was not on the planet for a while and i have even found myself in a pickle quite a few times... Sorry, i do not ask you to forgive me. But i still want to say that i am sorry for everything that has happened, how can i make it up to you?"

Meringue watched the man with patience, making an estimate of how hard this must have been for him. She crossed her arms and closed her eyes for a moment, as if she was trying to reaffirm that this was in fact the man that she used to work for so many years ago. Upon thinking back through what she remembered, she realised that no other man could be like this in the modern day of increased flying around and fighting, among other things. So selfless it could make even the most stone hearted of people rethink their choices, albeit very briefly. After her brief internal dialogue, she opened her eyes again, adjusted her glasses and looked him dead in the eyes. “They are not the same,” She said. “My glasses. The old ones were broken.” Explained Meringue, having picked up a small handful of snow during her explanation, to which she threw into the general direction of Ayumu’s face. “You may take me for coffee, black. No sugar.” She said. “From there, you will explain to me what happened so many years before. Until then, I will assume that you took an extended vacation.” Continued Meringue, trying to ignore the flavour that she sensed within the ship, as she was sure that Ayumu would explain as part of his tale. “But first,” she said patiently, “you must stop crying. The cold will freeze your tears to your face.”

Seeing the small droplets starting to stick to his face. Ayumu let out a voice of agony as he moved the large fingers of his towards his face with a painful groan. Tearing the bits of painfully before letting out an inaudible swear while kicking the snow covered ground, his face showing less and less sadness as he continued to do this little charade, turning himself around before an sudden rise in energy that swirled around him became visible. It was almost as if something was speaking towards him from an source that couldn’t be heard normally before a small sphere of energy, it was not ki, you knew that he had not mastered how to use ki and would probably never learn how too. Slowly growing more and more dense as it had not a single bit of strength hidden within them, the trail attached to his body starting to become thinner and thinner until they finally snapped, bringing forwards the set of three small hands before they flew in, Ayumu turning himself around as the tip of his finger had a small rune located on it to show the activation of his ability. Almost to signify he was doing something inside before an small set of cups were carried outside and Ayumu brought a firm nod towards you with his sorrowful expression only turning complex “It seems that i have to tell you quite a long tale then as the coffee is being carried over by those i consider my own manifestations, mana? Energy? I only learned about this after a few hundred years of torture on its own honestly but who cares about that… Do you wish for me to start where it truly begins?” before shaking his head lightly, knowing that it was just a obvious question before then slapping his hands together. “I got married, a young lass that had a fiery passion for protecting others, i was already selfless back then spending my time to help others while still trying to better myself. Obviously, i was running a company i may have done a few silly things but at the same time it was still an effort to keep it floating. But an group of bandits that managed to get captured by the police as she died in my arms were found missing mere days later with their grudge burning brightly within them still.” Hoping you would enjoy the rather fine blend of coffee made with the water of Namek, an rather interesting flavour could be brought with it, an more mature flavour.

Meringue couldn’t help but find herself feeling somewhat proud of her friend for being able to take the snow to the face without falling over, or even breaking out into tears depending on when one chose to judge his growth throughout the years. She would have commended him for his efforts, were it not for him suddenly creating a small sphere of energy, which was apparently not Ki, but what Meringue came to understand as magic . “I see… Such techniques could put me out of the job you know.” She said, clasping the cup of coffee that she was given with both hands and sampling the aroma, trying to pinpoint whether it was made of actual coffee beans through a grinder or just an instant variety, as well as any additives such as sweeteners that some people often did for her in cafes. Insisting that she needed it to unwind for whatever reason. “The water used, it's not from here is it?” She asked, taking a small sip and listening to the remainder of Ayumu’s story, stepping in at the marriage and the passing of his wife. “My… My condolences, sir…” Said Meringue. “She was a stand up woman. One of a kind and exceptional in her craft.” She continued, “You should at least take solace in the fact that you’ve outlived the culprits, the scum that they were.” Remaining calm, she began to move in. “We should start moving, it isn’t the wisest of ideas to stand around in this weather.”

Ayumu brought himself to a stand still upon hearing her reaction, almost shocked in a sense to see her handle it so calm and collected. If it wasn’t for his knowledge on her professionalism, her management on surviving on this god forsaken planet probably for a few years alone, then he would have called her emotionless. An robot, but the years that Ayumu had spend with this woman was enough to bring out a soft smile on his face “You didn’t know? The water is from Namek, there is no real mechanical advancement there that would endanger the growth of plants that naturally come to fruition, so please, enjoy it as much as you can” before offering an arm to you to lean upon while starting to walk into the distance. Small animals decorated the path, from small beavers and wild hounds that ran around, to even an spare squirrel that did not manage to get its winter sleep correctly. One of said squirrels made its way over to Ayumu as he made a shushing sound, trying to get it away but it's soft little head just tilted towards him, giving a content little noise before then climbing his body and sitting on top of his head with a rather content look, enjoying the unnatural body heat as he gave an awkward look towards the Majin by his side “I am able to survive in rather cold weathers due to an unnatural heat generation that happens within my body, it was a byproduct of a mana experiment a few months ago but it works wonders for if you need to warm up.” showing a flick of flames by snapping his fingers, scaring the squirrel into jumping onto your arms, hoping to be caught lightly. It was then that he took a rather deep breath, still walking through the thick snow with an awkward smile on his face, not wanting to continue before then saying “My kids… Well, yeah… They died.” that was the first thing he spoke of while trying to get the story to continue before awkwardly stammering for a bit. “They died on a ship as the bandits i was supposed to outlive had taken them victim to be put on a ship for slave trading, we barely got any offers and were just used as experiments for medicines. The worst memory is still having to explain to my grandchildren that their parents would come… Even when they had ended their own lives, it was nothing fun to see but that was the last i saw before everything became white and i was stuck in space on a near sentient planet.” pointing towards the ship, that was now rather far left behind, making sense of that large power level before then letting a soft hiccup as he tried to cheer himself up. “Sorry for not being able to tell you… Truly, i am sorry, but what have you done over the years?”

Meringue looked at Ayumu, slightly confused by his explanation. “You have been to Namek?” She asked, raising an eyebrow at his claims. In previous years he would have been lucky to get in a taxi, let alone prepare and maintain everything through interstellar travel. She politely refused the arm that was offered to her, preferring to walk of her own volition, although she did appreciate the gesture. As the animals scattering around the path briefly made themselves visible, she felt somewhat confused by their presence. “Should it not be time for them to hibernate?” She asked, watching Ayumu’s demonstration and catching the squirrel as her employer showed off his apparent pyromancy abilities, checking for any telltale signs as to what prevented the animals from safely hibernating. As she went on with her examination, and after a brief moment of Ayumu struggling to bring the words to light, he continued to recite his history. This time about his children and grandchildren and their unfortunate fate, Meringue had to take a moment to mentally formulate a reply. “Well, it is as they say.” She said, looking at the man in front of her. “Only through suffering and sorrow, do we acquire the wisdom not found in books.” Came to mind, as she recited the proverb word for word, only hoping that it would do Ayumu well upon hearing it. At least now she knew where he had been for so long, as well as the source of the strangely composed flavour within the ship. Chocolate was definitely part of it, she knew that much. She took a moment to think at Ayumu’s question, “I’m assuming that you know of the Saiyan invasion. Even if you weren’t on Earth at the time” She said. “All I really did was do my job… Help when I can, remain stoic in the face of adversity…” Explained Meringue, trying hard not to get too choked up by her own memories of the things she saw, the events she lived through. “It pales in comparison to what you could offer, really” She said, giving a slightly pained smile. “We shouldn’t just stand here, please, let us continue. What happened after you arrived at the planet? Who did you meet?” Asked Meringue, the squirrel in her arms giving a small yawn and scratching an itch it had, feeling as if it could successfully hibernate now, giving thanks to the two by hopping onto each of their heads, shuffling around in their hair a bit and then scampering off into the trees to fulfil its long, long rest.

As Ayumu took a notice to the animal making its way to its family, the flashes of memories that populated his mind started to slowly expand outwards. From the first meeting with the human hybrid called Celmaru as he helped him achieve what seemed to be an eternal marriage, forgetting the burdens of everybody who had to learn, Ayumu just kept bringing more and more people into his life. Seeing the small animal who had ran away from its family stick to its close family as then his mind drifted to some of the weaker warriors, from people who he had given an curse to strengthen to even people who were there to help him step up his game. Majins, Halfbreeds, Androids, there were tenfold the amount of people that he may have thought to exist at first. Even the mighty warriors on television, the mighty Bing and that child Etoru who were protecting this planet, they were his first image of what he had to surpass whilst sharing all the information he could with as many people to help them grant themselves a greater chance at survival before then losing that sad emotion on his face, a brilliant smile visible.
“I have helped those who I believed to be full of an infinite potential, they are growing at a near impossible rate whilst nobody is there to obstruct them. We are in a revolution of powers, there are demons that came from hell themselves, escaping from an kingdom and being the prince. There are warriors who call themselves “punchlust” or even beautiful majins that strive to form their own form of justice with what was taught to them.” Slowly placing one of his own hands against his own forehead with a mere form of an grudge as he shook his head. “I vanished, multiple times, way too many times honestly and here i am being left behind by those who in the past grew way too fast.” allowing anger to be visible on his face, Ayumu showed honest frustration before then stomping the ground with his foot “Please, help me, i am going to train once again and get myself stronger to finally protect those stupid kids… okay?”

Meringue turned to watch the squirrel, deciding to humour it and give a small wave to it and its family. After doing so, she turned back to Ayumu, noticing him deep in thought as he watched the small animals, as he did so Meringue sipped from her coffee, clasped in both hands and watching the snow falling around them. It wasn’t until Ayumu began speaking again did she snap out of her winter induced trance, she listened to his story, describing everything and everyone he had seen in his travels. Including the likes of a person named “Punchlust”, who was either very unfortunate at the hands of their parents, or perhaps one of the types who change their names at the first given chance they got, or maybe even just a simple alias. One could never be too careful in this world after all. As her employer went on to make his determination known, Meringue finished her coffee and looked at him. “You seem to forget who helped you with your “farming work” in the past, despite it not being in my job description at the time” She said, holding her hand out to him as he did to her when first arriving here. “It would be a honour to help you, sir. Our experiences in the field will no doubt be a necessity to many” Meringue continued, looking her boss up and down to find what appeared to be a coupon for a restaurant. “I do hope you’re not planning to make use of that with anyone else” She said, “It would be a shame for the others to find out you have taken me there before it’s too late.”

Simply seeing the snow before his very eyes, Ayumu would lift his head back up to the sky before taking in the answers that were given by the partner of the past. The soft beat of comfort in his own chest, Ayumu was surprised about what had been going on. From the meeting of so many people, to even meeting somebody who was lost in the depths of his fantasy as somebody permanently lost. Slowly letting his eyes water again, Ayumu this time heated up his body to make the droplets evaporate before letting out a violent shout and clutching his face. “BY THE GREAT KAI AND EVERYTHING I LOVE, THIS BURNS MORE THAN I EXPECTED.” The suddenly boiling steam having gone over his eyeballs as Ayumu slammed his face down onto the snow, trying to push more and more snow into his eye sockets before then face diving into the snow himself, a muffled shout about how the cold was now burning his face, refusing to lift his face before simply standing up, having taken a minute or two. Slowly coughing and patting some snow of his clothes, letting an awkward look go through the nearby area as the animals had all left from his rather loud fit that came from an natural mistake. Feeling extremely put in his place, he then turned back towards the woman that stood by his side “Thank you for coming back, i will do my best to help you as you are trying to help us with everything you have. Maybe even we can do that old plan we had as kids…” Remembering the short videos on television as they were kids about heroes who combined into an stronger hero with both of their colour scheme, were they rangers? Park rangers or people who used video game characters? It was unclear to his mind. Yet Ayumu still found it a nice point to bring up once again as his laughter slowly filled the eerily quiet area. Multiple animals having made their way back to their nests upon noticing that nothing bad was going on with small fragments of bait tossed their way, Ayumu hoping to get back on the good side of these winter animals. Before something snapped back into his head, a sudden memory of a childhood hero, somebody who always was prepared to help them in times of need before picking up a small pebble. Turning his head towards Meringue, Ayumu spoke loudly “Wait, uhm… Do you … Do you remember that old hero!? Mister Von Great Fist the ultimate brawler of all time, the one that always used the simplest techniques to overwhelm his opponents as they never expected it? Hell, He even had the shooting star, sparkling thunder shattering, crash through time and space throw where he just tossed a pebble at all of his power!” Smiling softly before taking an notice towards the coupon. Firmly nodding as Ayumu agreed with her intention “Yeah, i suppose you still have the capability of flight? Because i have found my own way of flying lately too! But apart from that, i am planning to learn how to do the pebble toss attack! Surely if i were to be able to strike at least at a fragment of the strength of that old hero his power, then i would be able to totally devastate the opponent! This pebble has been victimized by the strength of my soul, passionate throw, stardust shiner?” Laughing comfortingly as these old thoughts would just make him embarrassed about being such an old man even more and more before punching the air before him, pushing him backwards and upwards as he started walking rather awkwardly in the air, as if he was constantly punching or kicking the air, even with the smaller movements of his fingers there was always some bit of his body that was moving to counteract the pull of gravity before he reached out his hand downwards towards Meringue. “Now, Ma’am, may i offer you a cup of coffee at the store that has the ancestors of that old place we used to rest at? They still serve a few coffee’s that taste the same, even that beautiful fragment of fresh coffee as you open the doors is still there, so let us go.” Waiting above you whilst floating lightly. Having an content look of joy on his own face, Ayumu was one hundred percent prepared to do whatever he could to make this little out enjoyable for the both of them. Even if mean it meant that he had to pay a little more out of his own pocket, but surely she would do the same for him. Surely.
