Lizbeth Kuriza Power Level: 3,093 No Effect Active
It had been a long and hazardous journey through the snowy tundra that she now climbed through. She was climbing, a cliff side more specifically, which was only one of the many conditions of her mission. She was sweating, her mind racing on and on about her past, her life, everything she had imagined and everything that actually happened to her. She had a rough past, her brother and mother missing, and her father murdered, she was the only survivor she can remember from her village. As steady hands grabbed each rock, or knock in the wall, she recalled her past, like it was yesterday... 15 years ago It was a quick day, and her fury had slowly began to cease as she noticed everyone gone. The timber buildings a blaze, many bodies littering the roads as she looked down at her hands. A five year old covered in blood, her mind warped as she saw the corpses that were in front of her. Who were these people? Laser weapons on their arms... They must have been soldiers or mercenaries. They had chunks of flesh torn from their chests and faces, their armor ripped through and filleted. Slashes of claws and bite marks surrounded the neck and chest area on the bodies, and a iron taste filled her mouth. It felt... good. Looking around, the streaks of crimson covering the snow and the fires blazing in the cold day, she couldn't help but feel the freezing air nipping at her fingertips. Quick paces through the white sheets of snow, Lizbeth crawled up the steps into a stone and wood building. First she saw her father, the massively built catman's body, limp under a burnt log and charred. His fur was damaged, but she knew her father... What was he doing that led to his demise? She couldn't care, her tears filling her eyes could care less about the circumstances. Her mother abandoned her, her brother kidnapped and possibly already a slave or pet, and she was scarred with the memory of all of these murders... Her mind went blank. Modern Day She finally made her way up the rock wall, only a mile from her home village, she stopped for a break on a small clearing away from the ledge, pitching a small white tent in the snow, and starting a small, but effective fire. She hoped it would help her last in the dire winter until she makes it home.

The air was one of a piercing cold today, through the plumes of congregating vapour he whipped at a regular pace that one could only compare to a lazy stride; the last few months had vanished like a blur into the strewn strands of memory he owned. Such beauty lay in this part of the planet and Levlidian admired them all from above, snow capped mountains, tall pillars of stone formulated in an oddly soft style for such a violent planet. Curving his trajectory and descending, he'd adverse to seek the ground in his evidently tiring state; there was a serene little position he'd seek to rest in for a few hours. As he drew closer the amassing energy he hadn't noticed till now came to his minds eye as any scene might.
There it was, an odd figure perched upon a ledge he frequented for the view and upon furrowing his brow, the beast would come in for a rather abrupt landing at a vertical pace. Falling beneath the cliff face he'd sweep up noting the pitched tent and figure amassing an area to rest. Hm, odd, he didn't know there were others around here and as was expected of his neanderthal race; he allowed himself to fall. Faster still the air tore through his long, coat like Gi and chocolate mane as he'd descend striking the ground some feet away from the female with considerable force. Arising, he'd court a weft of the broad chest he boasted with the flesh and dark cloth of his folding arms; upon Lev's lips as a overture lay a broad, arrogant grin.
This was what was expected thus it is what he delivered despite not an ounce of the emotion meeting his obsidian eyes reflective of the turmoil he swallowed inside. "You're new," he blurted out, an obvious observation and yet he'd part one limb from his folded arms to over a short, mocking salute, "What brings you out into the cold of this realm today?" The Saiyan stood with a slender, muscular build not so typical of his race, the length of fabric fluttering at his side betrayed the use of a Gi similar to a Kimono in sibling to a pair of heavy, baggy pants and dark boots. Scars littered him especially a vicious selection about his visage and he'd tilt his head letting his mane fall lazily.

At the noise, Lizbeth began to freak out, her ears spiking up and her hair flaring as she burst from her tent and into the snow in cat covered pajamas. She hadn't felt any out of the ordinary power levels, and looking over, she noticed the man standing away from her clearing. Her crimson hair shined in the light as her catlike ears twitched from the cold, she was clearly freezing, but holding it in. "W- Who are you nyan?" Her voice would speak, her clear meow at the end mixing with the words. She bent into a slight crouch, ready to run if she needed, but still able to seem normal. She was looking the guy up and down, his scars visible, and his body built. He must lift weights twenty four seven to get a kind of muscle mass. He was oddly different from those she normally saw, being like a mountain of strong meat, which actually scared the cat woman as she wasn't in the best mood. Her mind was switching, on and on with her hunger. She hadn't eaten, so she started staring into the tent again and again before finally talking fully to the man. "I am Lizbeth. They call me Liz, and I'm here for some person business" She would say. She wasn't going to tell him about Purrsia, the nearby village ruins, though he might already know, she made this trip every year, and her twenty first birthday was a big reason to return home. Many things happening through the past few years, including her best and worst days, so she took pride in her adventures and was hoping to not take as long as usual to get to the town.

"I'm Levlidian, I live close to these parts and couldn't help but notice a new face. Not many people pass by here, so it got me curious," Without invitation he'd adverse to stand closer and lazily sit across from her. The lacking of worry nor conveying of his intentions granted the Saiyan an aura of rudeness; but he seemed friendly enough for the time being. Glancing to the side he'd follow her gaze and then peer back to her with a small grin, "Planning on sleeping out here like that?" the Pyjamas's hadn't gone unnoticed and he found it momentarily amusing.
"feel free to pop back in your tent if you're cold, I haven't brought anything spare. If I'd known I'd meet people today I'd have brought some food or alcohol as a greeting," The odd thing about the woman was the way she spoke, the way she crouched, it was all very cat-like and he couldn't help but reminded of his Master. "Well, Lizbeth, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance but what sort of personal business could some one have out in these cold climates?" the chill of the air coiled again yet Lev' barely noticed. He'd lived up here for so long it was difficult for a breeze like that to even pierce his tough hide.

"My, uh, home is out here nyan" Her soft voice would say as he asked her his question. She wasn't completely lying, but her mind was keeping her from spilling her secrets completely. "I used to live up here, until my family was slaughtered. I just wanted to revisit my homeland". She would go back into the tent, changing quickly into her jeans and thigh high pink socks, her black jacket with red fur over her shoulders, and lastly her collar bell which opens up to be a pendant. She was starting to dislike her normal attire, which she was going to change after returning to civilization. It was completely ready for the cold, though, and it would be enough for now. She walked out of the tent, sitting on a stub of wood coming out the ground, almost like a little seat, and started taking swigs from a water bottle before offering one to the Saiyan across from her. "So, you are a Saiyan nyan?" She would mention between breaths, before she would instinctively let her tail come out of her pants, it's blood red fur sparkling from a shower earlier in the day. "My mother was a Saiyan too nyan. She was running from the empire before she found earth. I'm not sure who you might be for, but I don't seek trouble nyan, my goal is to find a few people, that is it." It felt good to finally say what she was up to, secrecy was difficult for the cat woman, which she definitely got from her fathers side. She was still looking the Saiyan up and down, before finally talking about the food. "By the way, I have some meat in my bag, but I'm not sure it is the kind most people eat."

"Slaughtered." he'd grimace and offer a bow of his head, "I'm sorry to hear that, it's no easy thing to revisit your past; you must be pretty damn strong," on she strode to ready herself, Levlidian tilted his head back as he reflected on words he'd shared with another Seems to be a perquisite to being a fighter, to have a shitty life at this moment, he couldn't agree more. Every fighter he'd met, save the midget green boy, had a sad story to tell. Still, perhaps that was what steeled them emotionally. This train of thought was stolen as Liz' returned wearing her usual attire. Levlidian merely stared at her, he'd never seen such clothing on a person before, seemed comfortable.
"I am, a Warrior from Planet Vegeta. Though we're in the same boat, your mother and I, fleeing the Empire seems to be a fad that's catching fairly quickly," he chuckled and glanced for the fire, "I'm alright for now but if you're hungry, I don't find it ruse to eat in front of guests; so help yourself," Again, finding specific people also seemed like an admirable goal, it served as a bitter reminder to him of how selfish and air filled his goals had been the first time he'd come here. "You're looking for people?" he asked and attempted at his warmest smile, which wasn't warm so much as painful looking; "What sort of people, perhaps I can help?"

"It's alright nyan"She would whisper, looking down at some snow being melted in a pot by the fire. She rarely talked about her past with people, and it felt slightly good. It felt better when she discovered he was just like her mother, a rogue from the empire trying to survive, though he seemed to be in a situation where he could likely protect himself. "N- No! It is alright to revisit my past. I really have to get over what happened one of these days, but I keep having a feeling that I can't leave behind my home. So I visit here every year I can, and sometimes, I just hope that my family would be waiting there for me..." She choked out after forgetting he apologized for making her remember. She was emotional right now, not crying, but in a state of slight despair, and her mind flipped between memories of the night she lost her family. 15 Years Ago, Purrsia Village "Wha- What... What is this. Occi? Occi can you hear me?" A voice rang through the air. It was higher. feminine, but powerful. Whoever's voice it was, they had strength behind their speech, but it was fading. Lizbeth picked herself up, her frail little body pushed to the ground after her... incident. She looked around, weak eyes closing and opening faintly, trying to find her father. She tried climbing the steps to get out of the hole she was in, a foundation for one of the village houses, but fell down them once, before finally getting up and making it to the top. Her head toppled, staring ahead as she saw the horror that would haunt her for the rest of her life. Her mother? Elizabeth? She couldn't figure out if her mother was there, or was mearly a shadow of her past, until the figure twitched. It was curled over something black, ash it seemed, and the thing was being gripped by the figure. It was person, the black charred corpse rotting and smelling of fire and coal. She tried getting closer, small steps towards the massive beasts before being forced back by some odd beam of energy. A ki blast sent her flying backwards, landing on the ground with a tough thud. The figure, now standing, having their hand pointed at the young girl, was visible. It was her mother... Elizabeth's were covered in tears, her daughter getting up from the attack, and before she recoiled, grabbing at her face, and laughing. Her laugh was maniacal, insane, and completely out of it it seemed. The corpse of the person, now visible as Lizbeth's dad Occi, was dropped and broken in half at the waist, hardened like rock from the fire he perished in. Lizbeth's mother, Elizabeth, tore away at her dress, ripping the lower dress part off to make movement easier, and flew off at high speeds, going towards the distance. Lizbeth stood there, crying as she was abandoned, looking over at her dead family, and than seeing her mother leave her for dead, at that moment, her mind snapped.... Present Day Lizbeth took the friendly Saiyan's advise, taking out some non-perishable canned foods and mixing the beans and hunted rabbit meats into a pot, and than exposing some bowls. She placed one down on a stump on the other side of the fire as her, as an offer to the man, and than began to eat as she contemplated telling him about her nightmares. She thought hard, but not long, as the indesisive Half-Saiyan normally did, and thought that no harm could be done if she told him about her dreams. "I am searching for a woman nyan, someone from my dreams. I see her in every dream I have, I have had, for the past year. I don't know who she is, but in my last dream I had, she whispered in my ear this..." She stuttered the final, bit, remembering exactly what the woman said, before continuing. "'Find me where you lost yourself, I will help vanquish your fears', I still don't understand what she means, but she looked familiar, and I could only think of my hometown to be where I lost myself. I was ruined when the massacre happened, so it is my best guess nyan." She finished her bowl when she finished the sentence, preparing a massive bloody bag, bout five feet long, from a gym bag, before unwrapping it to show it was an entire elk, skinned and leaving on the meat on the skeleton. She had an issue with some cooked foods, her stomach not fully used to heated meals, she preferred the meal fresh, and new.

Levlidian simply listened as the strange woman spoke, her unique vocal tweak cause a short grin to appear whilst he'd rock in part upon his rear, she had an interesting way about her and it courted the beast with curiosity. Still, it sounded like a personal, sad tale that shrouded her past and one he'd like to know; yet not once did he ask. Instead, Lev' focused on the now and this search for a woman possibly referable to an answer; "You know what he looks like yes? Then perhaps, when you're ready we can take a look around?" yes he was impatient and overtly so but he remained where he sat. "What do you think will come of us finding her?"
The message the ethereal dream had delivered was enigmatic at best, Levlidian was baffled by his and his brow reflected it with a sullen frown, though for now not a word was uttered for it. Slowly peering to the bloody bag she dragged to prepare; the brow once sunken soon rose in mild shock, what was she doing with that? Another evolution in his knowledge, this young woman had hunted -that-? Sight of meat, be it cooked or not conjured a hunger in him that couldn't be sated. A growl filled the clearing followed by a laugh; she'd found his one culinary weakness.
"Apologies, meat always gets a reaction out of me, are you going to cook it? If so, I think I may need to re-think my proposal of not eating any of your food," applying his fingers to the arch of his neck he'd itch idly. A notion of amusement soon fell away to another growl, Lev's knuckles buried deep into his stomach causing him to gag on the force. "Shut up," he mumbled to his own stomach, "You're interfering in a serious moment, damnit,"

"Personally nyan, I think it will be something to do with my memory" She would say to the Saiyan, bringing up a little bit more of her past, whilst she used her feline claws to slice large chunks of elk off, and quite literally thrown it at the fire, having it elegantly land in a pan, cooking in front of Levlidian slightly as if to cause him to hunger it even more, the smell of cooking meat sifting into the air around them, as she slide one into a pan above the fire in front of herself. The blood would pool to the edges of the pans, showing the recentness of the kill, and Lizbeth would continue on with her past. "When I was a little girl, I was left to fight for my own. My mother was a Saiyan, and as such, I wasn't ever helped if the neighbor kids bullied me. I fought my own battles, and when the attack on my village happened, I was left alone to survive the murderers. I killed, and blood spilled in my hands, and that effected my little mind... I went insane nyan, killing without remorse, and it still happens to this day. I have terrible memory, and often forget many things, or simply cannot recall even the slight of the memory. I am twenty one years old, and I can't remember being twenty, or nineteen." Her voice was sincere, her body pushing forwards over the fire to flip her steak. She looked back at the mountain she was climbing, seeing a small smoke trail come up from where the village should be. She could feel a small presence, but no power level, and as such, she felt awkward. She looked back at Levlidian, and than answered his question about her.
"Oh, yeah. I know her look. She looks just like me, with smaller ears-" She said, touching her cat ears on her head, which twitched and flapped when poked, "And she has no ki it seems". She tapped her chest, before making a small red ki ball on the tip of her finger, and then wiping it away from the air as it dissipated. She couldn't fully control ki, that was her problem, but she made up for that with her intelligence. She was using her ejecting claws to slice apart the elk more and more, throwing the smaller sliced pieces towards the woods, where small power levels showed small big cats and foxes coming to collect the smaller, useless pieces of the meat. Lizbeth made a habit of making friends with the wildlife, and this was just one way of her gaining recon of the nearby area, using the wildlife to find things for her. Almost on cue, a smaller lioness walked up to the two, carrying a small red dagger in it's jaws. "Thank you Mizzie" Lizbeth would say, patting the animal on the head. "This is one of the cubs I raised while I lived here". She confirmed with Levlidian. She didn't bother to answer when he talked about his stomach, slapping more meat onto his pan, in case he is still hungry.
"So, you are willing to help me find this woman?"

Levlidian listened with bated breath for the offered explanation, this woman had under went some intense developments in her life and he was ultimately and overly curious. "You can't remember two years of your life?" his brow sank and his jaw drew taught. The young Saiyan couldn't even imagine how that must feel, to awaken one day and realise you're two years older with no recollection. "Then, your mind blocked it all out? Are you sure you were insane?" he was filled with questions but upon drawing himself into a sitting up position; the cooking meat stole the beasts attention. As ever, hunger ruined his train of thought and Levlidian sniffed the cooking food.
"mmm," quickly he'd steal a slice from the flames and toss it from hand to hand, blowing profusely until he could hold the item then tore into it as a Wolf might. he was hungry, this was obvious and after a period of undisclosed time he'd finished a few slabs Lizbeth prepared and saat chewing on the fat whilst watching her interaction with Mizzie. "Oh, that's a neat trick," he commented playfully. Seemingly, Lev's entire disposition had shifted once he was fed, "You raised cubs, hm, I've not met a soul that cared of animals to that extent before. besides Noxa, though I'm fairly sure her dog isn't what he appears," a strained frown appeared as contemplation fell across his eyes.
"Well, you fed me, talked about your past openly; I feel obligated to help now. So, count me in," quickly leaning onto the flats of his palms and pressing strength into his triceps, Levlidian righted himself as a vault. "Though where do we begin?" peering to the treeline, he'd assume the town was indeed where they intended to begin this; however there was no energy signature to sense. Irritation coveted his complexion again and thus he'd form a weft of flesh and black cloth, folding his arms across his broad, lean chest.

"The cubs here are nice enough, us cats get along well nyan." She would say, looking at the Saiyan, before finishing her sentence. "As for Noxa person, I have heard that name before..." She said, thinking of pictures she had seen in the past. She looked up at the smoke, where the village should be, and closed her eyes. Was she really ready for this... She wasn't sure. She didn't feel like she was able to connect with it yet. Her, yet. She looked back at Saiyan and pouting slightly. "That, uh, That might not be necessary. My trip doesn't need to go all the way nyan, and I feel like this wont be my only chance to find my past." Her eyes slightly teared up, but stopped quickly as she stood up. "And... I have been meaning to give up on this. I can't come back every year, it isn't good for my health. Thank you for the offer nyan." She didn't know what to do afterwards, as it was already awkward, she just sorta stood there, staring at Levlidian awkwardly, trying to think of some reason to go into her Tent and get something to pass time.

The purring humanoid seemed to find herself awkwardly standing and watching the one eyed Saiyan, his frown reformed whilst silence swallowed the pair for but a moment. "We could...spar?" the go to response for every Saiyan indeed. On that chilly mountain side flanked by the beauty of the scene beside them which stole Lev's attention for a moment. "You changed your mind quickly, was it something I said or are you having second thoughts?". It was truly strange indeed, that a soul so determined would give up the desire so very quickly; especially since this was in fact an annual ritual.
"If it's something you need to face, you should but other wise we can always simply chat, else I could leave you be? I live not far from here so you're welcome to visit any time. I figure one can't have too many friends," adjust the hem of his Gi; Levlidian folded his arms soon after and regarded Liz' with a questioning brow, arched for effect. "Why is it not so good for your health, little feline?"

"Oh, uh, it wasn't something you said. I have been having second thoughts for years Nyan. I can't go on and feeding my depression with coming back here searching for the same thing and never finding it. I see it as a lost cause" She would say, popping her neck and fingers whilst going back into her tent, talking loud enough for him to hear her. She was changing into some combat based clothing, mostly a loose Gi which was tightly wound around her joins, like the ankles and shoulders, not exposing skin, but allowing for air room. It was cold, but that just meant she had to flex her muscles more and conserve her heat. "I can't confront what wont be there, to me at least, and my goals seem to be out of my reach in my current standing." When she would walk out, she would be completely adorned in Gi, and wearing soft souled shoes, her chest propped out ot expose her arm muscles with were open, and flexing her Ki, flaring it out so he could see her strongest potential. "I'll take you up on that offer to fight by the way, though I am not very strong Nyan".

Excitement was quick to envelope the beast and he suddenly grinned as a jester might, drawing himself back he'd seem to almost skip; "No sense in gaging power, I'll lower my power to match yours. It's such a thrill to fight someone new,". However, he paused and gave notice to her words that drew out before hand, tilting his head in part and allowing his jaw to draw taught he'd utter, "That's a wise way to look at your past, I'd fight to keep that mentality. Too simple it is to stride off a path into the mountains beyond, then lose yourself," clapping his hands he'd then grin again and rid himself of the negative sensation.
"Now, I'm going to hold back but i really want to see how you fight, it's exciting isn't it? New competition, new ways to learn," Levlidian took up his horse stance, one arm drawn tight to his side whilst his right protruded like a set of talons. In sibling to this event his brow drew into an aggressive looking focus despite the smile, "It'll help, to feel progression in some way and a physical representation of 'moving forward, so come at me when ever you're ready, little lady,". About the one eyed saiyan erupted a blood red ki reflective of an inferno; wild and yet controlled to a degree of natures function.
A long side the flames came a deep set hum as molecules vibrated at a hyper sensitive speed, the debris about him ignited and began to radiate kinetic energies. The sheer control he boasted remedied his confidence and he began to decrease the purity of it to match Lizbeth's.

Accepting the invitation of the older male, she would power up her relaxed power again, red Ki surging around her flexing body, and charge forwards towards the Saiyan. Her body was small, and her power low, but her strikes were quick and precise, but were clearly lacking in power. She didn't use any fighting style, going rogue with her attacks as she charged for the Saiyan. Her first strike would be for the man's right leg, kicking for the back of his knee while aiming a hidden uppercut for his chin when she came closer. Her eyes gleamed with a certain form of excitement, and her body was much more limber now then she was previously before. Her tendency to flick her tail back and forth showed her eagerness to continue the fighting.
"If you say so nyan!"
