After spending time with Kiba in the mountains training, Milac had another terrifying dream that he couldn’t understand. He found himself thinking more about the death of Bana and the terrifying incident that had left him here stranded on Earth and unable to fulfill the task that he had set out to do. The night after that nightmare he had left Kiba, for he felt that he was getting distracted from his true purpose on this planet as an ambassador. He journeyed back to the city in the southern continent to find that the “Capital” of Earth was located in the western most reaches of the world. He would likely have to get in touch with someone under the revered President Bao to explain his situation. Excitedly, Milac flew off towards the city in the west. He decided that he had spent enough time traveling in human transports and that flying would be the best option for him to take. When Milac arrived at the Western Capital he found himself in awe. It was even larger than the lavish city in the south and his ki sense tingled uncontrollably because of the presence of so many life forms. It was impossible for him to focus on a single one of them. After a few hours of roaming about the city trying to get his bearing he had become used to this sensation and he was able to tune most of it out as he went along. Finally he had come across something that had looked like a governmental structure to him. It seemed like the governance of the earth was taken care of in large buildings designed to look older and archaic than that of the human’s modern day buildings. The width of many of these buildings had been large enough to hold the space of several Namekian villages and spanned upwards into the sky. It was a wonder to Milac how fast that this species seemed to reproduce, and how unregulated it seemed to be. On his own planet typically they only reproduced when it was necessary to continue the species. “You… an ambassador?” A woman with bright red lipstick and saggy jowls exclaimed as she bent over her official podium. This was an official government station for intergalactic relations. “I don’t think so, you don’t even have any paperwork… and just look at you, you are a little boy!” “I… I am the ambassador… I crash landed here and…” Milac began. “Nonsense! I don’t know who put you up to this, but I am not letting you into the council chamber. The President himself would have my head if I let you make a mockery of our government this way!” The old lady yelled. “P-Please just help me get in contact with someone… I need to contact my home world for new…” Milac tried to continue. “GET OUT!” The old woman yelled, her wrinkled old face seemed to turn beet red. She picked up her coffee mug and took a quick sip out of it and then pointed at the door. Defeated, Milac turned away and walked towards the door. He turned to glance back at the mean old receptionist, hoping that it had just been some sort of cruel joke. She was already talking to someone else, with a smile on her face showing her flamboyantly too young for her ruby red lipstick. Her eyes seemed to glance past the client who was talking to her and over the rim of her gaudy thick framed glasses. Gulping, Milac pushed himself out of the door of the government building with a frown on his face. “I… don’t understand these humans. What am I supposed to do now? Just wander this wide world aimlessly?” Milac thought to himself as he shrugged. A tear rolled down his cheek. He couldn't even go home unless he figured out some way that he could afford a ship that would take him home. Milac walked off into the city again, hopelessly. He came upon a small park that had almost reminded him of home. Several children earthling children of about his size were playing in a park. They seemed to be having fun climbing on the equipment that stood before them. Milac thought that perhaps joining in on some earthling games might make him happier. As soon as he got to the jungle gym the other children were giving him odd looks, but waved at him and smiled. Before Milac could even climb to reach the monkey bars the parents of the children had gathered around and started plucking the kids away. “Billy that is a demon! If you ever see one again, you just run OK?” a Mommy told her little son as she walked away. She had said it quietly enough that a normal person wouldn’t have heard it, but it rang in Milac’s ears like a sonic boom. Tears rolled down Milac’s eyes and he just went down and sat on a slide. He was all alone in a little park inside of a big city, balling his eyes out... Ninjin Nedrag

Ninjin had flown into the Western Capital as she had wanted to top somewhere and get more supplies before heading off to do something even she would not of thought about doing a few days earlier. Having finished all of her shopping within the city she had decided to take a moment to relax within one of the many parks of the city. She knew the city well as it was close to where her mother lived so this was the closest capital that she had visited as a child.
Leaning against her sword as she had it stabbed into the ground behind her she saw the gathering of children. A smiled crossed her face as she looked at them. Despite everything she had been through over the past few months the sight of children playing so carefree and innocently brough the smile to her face. When the parents all surrounded the jungle gym and began to pluck their children away she heard a mother speak to her child as she walked past him. The statement that caught her ears made her clutch a fist.
As to here there where no demons that could not be conquered if one tried hard enough. Not to mention a demon would of attacked all of them and not just approached quietly as this one seemed to. Looking up she spotted the figure of Milac standing there. Looking as the last of the children where whisked away and she felt sympathy for Milac as she was one that had experienced that very thing in the past. Standing up she walked over to the slide she saw him sit on approacing Milac as she noticed his tears. Standing beside the slide she knelt down and looked at him.
"I know you are no demon... You are a lost soul are you not? I cannot feel any malice coming from your ki. So I know you mean no harm to anyone here."
Pulling a small piece of cloth from her waistband she handed it to Milac.
"Here. I am Ninjin Nedrag. A pleasure to meet you. Can I ask your name?"

Toma flew over West City once more after he had left the lookout. He had come here in search of Milac, the little green Namekian boy whom he had previously met several days ago. Milac had told Toma about the legend of the Dragon Balls, as well as about the Kami who lived on this planet, who supposedly made the Dragon Balls. Milac had then gone on to tell Toma about the lookout in the sky and about how the Kami lived there, watching over this world. And Toma had found it! He had found the lookout that Milac spoke of, and he had found a statuette of a Dragon there! He knew Milac had spoken the truth, or at least thought he did, and he was going to find him to perhaps repay his kindness.
Toma passed over the city, when he felt it. Milac's power. He recognized the energy from the last time they had met. It had grown signifigantly, too. Had Milac been training? Toma couldn't help but smile at the thought of the little Namekian boy trying to better himself like that. It made Toma happy to have a friend like that. He descended into the city, before he came across Milac sitting down next to a red haired woman. She seemed to be human, based on her energy signature. He didn't think she was much of a threat. Besides, it seemed she was... consoling him?
Toma put a smile on his face as he landed next to Ninjin and Milac, before he saw the tears in Milac's eyes. His smile turned into a frown as he kneeled down, before looking at Milac. "Dude, you alright, Milac? It's me, Toma. I don't know if this'll cheer you up or anything, but I found the Lookout that the Kami lives on that you told me about, but... there was nobody there. The place looked abandoned." Toma spoke.

Milac continued his sobbing until Ninjin appeared before him. She had spoken to him kindly and even asked him his name. He felt embarrassed to be seen this way and did his best to hold back his tears.
"I...My name is Milac..." he responded to the woman. His voice still seemed to be pouty as he spoke to her but he was doing his best to keep it together. "I was supposed to represent my people here... but I lost my paperwork in a crash and now on one will believe me."
Milac stood up and cried a little bit more, albeit silently.
"The only hope I have of even being able to go home now is to find the kami..." Milac began.
That is when Toma came out of the sky and landed near him and the woman that he was venting his frustrations to. Within a matter of moments Toma had revealed to him that the Kami was missing from the lookout. That would probably mean that the Kami no longer existed here if everything on the lookout was abandoned.
Milac didn't say a word and instead his sobbing grew exponentially. His last and only hope probably didn't exist anymore. He would be here on a foreign planet without his brothers and he would have no purpose. He didn't know what road that he should turn to anymore, but his sadness was getting the best of him. He moved under the slide and got onto his hands and knees and began muttering in Namekian as he sobbed.

Ninjin gave a soft smile to Milac after he told her his name. Reaching a hand out toward him to try and comfort him with a light pat on the shoulder. "Things will get better. Trust me... Now you said you needed to find a kami? Where could we find a god?"
As she finished speaking another man appeared and landed beside Milac and herself. A curiosu tone escaped his voice about a lookout being abandoned and empty. That made the half saiyan tilt her head and look at him and then back to Milac. As the words seemed to strike a cord within the young Namekian.
"Sorry to ask such a stupid question but what lookout and what Kami? Why would our young friend Milac be needing to go there. But the thing is... Why do we not just go there anyways. I mean what is stopping us if it is as you say sir abandoned then let us go there and bring Milac."
Speaking up as she was rather blunt like a hammer. Which is what she was. Looking at the other two she smiled widely. It was an idea from her that she came up with on the spot so she was rather proud of it. Walking away from Milac she walked to her large sword and grabbed it placing it back across her back. "Cmon lets get moving back there then. See whats going on."

"The lookout. It's a floating building that is centered above this continent. It's not too far from here, actually. It's really high up, though. As for the Kami, Milac spoke to me when he previously met saying the Kami, or rather, Guardian of the Earth, was a member of his race... Namekians, if I remember rightly. So I went to find him. Since the Kami was a member of Milac's race, it might be best to take Milac there, as you say. Perhaps he'd be able to do something there that we wouldn't due to him being Namekian." Toma spoke, as he took off his large coat that he wore over his clothes. He smiled as he handed it to Milac. "It gets cold that high up. Wrap that around you." Toma spoke, as his tail wagged back and forth behind him, now that his coat was no longer hiding it.
He turned to Ninjin, and he smiled. "Before we get going, I must introduce myself. My name is Toma. I crashed on this planet not too long after Milac did. May I ask your name?" Toma asked, as he smiled at the Half-Saiyan. It wasn't a smile most other Saiyans had. Toma's smile was full of warmth and honesty, rather than a scowl full of darkness and pride.

As Ninjin seemed to grow more mission oriented about finding the Kami’s lookout, and Toma referred to the Kami as a “was” (in the past tense), Milac’s sadness reached a new low. As he lay on his hands and knees he didn’t think that he could have ever felt this way. His unfortunate landing on the planet and losing a member of his race, dealing with humans calling him names, and being outright told that he wouldn’t be able to take up his position as a consular had already made him depressed. Now, the one member of his race who he knew of on this planet that might have been able to aid him had become a “was”.
Still on his hands and knees, a power within Milac began to stir. As he cried out in anger the swing set that he had crawled under shook and was torn off of its hinges.
“It’s all meaningless… there is no hope!” Milac muttered as he rose into the air. He seemed to be clearly agitated, although the anger of someone with the body of about a ten year old earthling wouldn’t be that imposing. Still the winds around Milac seemed to pick up slightly.
He then sped off into the city, he came to the top of a sky scarper and landed there. The small childs ki once again went from anger back to sadness. He curled into a little ball and wallowed in his own pity.
“If the Kami is dead… I… am all alone here… and I’ll never be able to… afford to go home…” Milac said, pausing every few moments because he was choking on his own tears. Milac had come to a breaking point, he hadn't considered all of the possibilities that the world could have in store for him yet.

Turning to Toma she gave a slight bow of her head. ]color=orchid] "Name is Ninjin. It is a pleasure."[/color] Her introduction was not as formal as hers to Milac as she had noticed the tail upon the man. Despite that fact she did not feel any malice from Milac either. Though that would quickly change as the swingset he had dove underneath suddenly was busted up as he took to the sky.
Hearing his words as he erupted into the sky she watched as he burst forth and out into the city. Looking at Toma she took a breath before levitating herself about a foot off the ground. "Well seeing as you flew in I know you can fly. Can you sense where our little friend went as well? As a Saiyan I figure you are different already considering you did not automatically try to pick a fight with me."
She spoke as she awaited Toma to levitate and fly as well toward where Milac headed. Flying up on the skyscraper's roof she allowed her power to raise a little as she stabilized her flight and landed. "I think we shoudl stop talking about what is not there and maybe try and help him with things... It seems he is alone and really just needs a couple of friends."

"Yeah, I can sense energy." Toma spoke, as he looked up at Ninjin, after having jumped a little at the swingset being blown off it's hinges by Milac's latent energy. He sighed some, then laughed a bit when Ninjin mentioned that he didn't seem to be a nomral Saiyan, seeing as how he didn't come to pick a fight with her. "See, funny story that, I didn't exactly grow up with other Saiyans." Toma spoke, before he began to float in the air and flying up to the skyscraper with Ninjin. He landed next to her, and nodded at her words. "Being alone... I know that feeling." Toma spoke, as he walked over to Milac, and he sat down next to Milac.
"Milac... remember when you first met me? How down and depressed I was? It was because I lost my family... not just my family, though. The entire population of the planet I lived on was wiped out because I failed to protect them." Toma spoke, as he looked up at the sky. "The thing is, I didn't grow up with other Saiyans. I grew up on a planet of lizard people. I landed there as a baby in a space pod, and they took me in despite my heratige. They raised me. Gave me a home, a family, love... And the fact that I wasn't strong enough to protect them... I'm not sure if I'll ever really get over it." Toma continued, before looking to Milac again. "But then I met you, and you spoke to me about the Kami, and the Dragon Balls. And you gave me hope again! Hope that I might be able to use the power of the Dragon Balls to restore my planet and see my family once again! There is still hope, Milac! Who knows what we might find at the lookout? You're a Namekian, you might see something there that I missed!" Toma continued, before he smiled and held his hand out to Milac. "So what do you say? Will you come with us to the lookout? We won't know what we'll find there until we try."

Milac looked up from his little cry baby ball and saw Toma there. He wiped off his tears although they still continued to pour down his face. He sat up and stood and sighed, he wasn't sure if Toma would have known this or not.
"But if the Kami is dead... there are no Dragon Balls to bring back your people," Milac told the saiyan with a quivering lip. He tried to draw back some of his tears and seemed to become slightly less emotional. He walked to the edge of the sky scrapper and looked at the city below. He let the remnants of his tears dry off against the wind that blew his little cloak causing it to flap.
"I don't know what the Elder Guru would want me to do anymore... but maybe if I go to the lookout I can look after it until a new guardian arrives to take up the mantle of Kami... then maybe they could at least help me get back home" Milac suggested. The hour was beginning to grow later and the sun had already began setting while the lights of the city began to flicker on. Milac rubbed his eyes a bit, getting angry had sort of taken it out of him.

"I know that feeling as well. Just go and comfort your friend. I will stand here and keep an eye out for anything. As most Earthlings will hate us being up here but we should get moving soonish as the sun is setting slwoly."
Ninjin stayed back after speaking to Toma. She then allowed Toma to speak with his friend. Looking out over the skyline she watched the sun slowly set. Letting it sink in that Toma had been sent out to a random planet. What he was to do was random in her mind but she could only assume the worst. Managing to catch some of the words Toma spoke about his homeland and what Milac was going through. That solidifed in her mind that Toma was not there to cause any issues so she would not do anything about him for the moment.
Looking at Milac as he mentioned what the Dragon Balls where and what they where capable of and it made her blink. Watching him move toward the edge she readied herself just incase she would have to move quickly and catch the Namekian. A saying come to her mind as she heard the last of Milac's words exho out.
"There is a saying on Earth. Let me recite it for you both. Sometimes fate will move us to action when there is action required. I think that it means this might be a good thing... Maybe you coming to Earth Milac was a blessing in disguise. You speak of the Kami as if it may be someone of importance. Maybe there is a reason you are to be here and to maybe help with the position? Even if not maybe you are to be the caretaker as you said to await the next Kami. I mean would it not be a great destiny for you to do either role? I mean it is better than sitting here and... and wallowing in self pity."
Her words went to become solidly aimed at the other two. It was obvious she was attempting to cheer them up in her rather blunt style.

Toma scratched his head as Milac mentioned about the Dragon Balls no longer working, and about not being able to return home. "Well, if you need to return to your home planet, you could take my Space Pod." Toma offered, as he continued looking up. "Though, it's pretty beaten up. You could make it home, but I doubt it'd work for the way back." Toma spoke as he looked down at Milac once more, who was beginning to yawn and seemed to start falling asleep, almost. Poor guy. He must've used up more energy than he realized.
He then turned to Ninjin, who spoke of destiny calling forth people to action when action was to be had. "Perhaps Ninjin is right. Going to the lookout would perhaps be the best option, and you seem tired. I can fly you to the lookout if you want to rest." He spoke, as he stood up, streaching some.

Both of them had logical points, and Milac felt a little bit better. He had let doubt get the best of him but what these two were saying was somewhat comforting to him. Milac felt ashamed at his outburst, this was the first situation in his life that he didn't have a fellow Namekian to pass guidance to him on where his path lay. He would have to rely upon the wisdom that had been passed down to him, but draw upon his own personal wisdom when the dogma of the dragon clan didn't point him towards a black and white answer.
"If we arrive at the lookout and we find that the Kami has truly passed... I would ask that you not touch anything, I will try to look for a way that we can find a right to succession so that we can seek out someone worthy of becoming the guardian of the earth." Milac said, he let a small smile pass over his face, although it looked sort of unnatural because of the tears still staining his face.

"Then let us go and see if things have fallen into disrepair as Toma said. Even if it has I can stay and help with reviving the lookout like rebuilding it if needed."
Speaking up Ninjin smiled at the others. It was obvious taht she was happy her words actually had made an impact on Milac and that he had stopped crying. The fact the Namekian was back to what she could assume was something of normal made her smile a little brighter.
"That is good then. I will fly along with you both and see this place. And as I said earlier I volunteer to help you to restore anything that may be damaged or knocked around."
Floating up off the skyscraper she would of released her strength as she floated there. It was obvious she was stronger as her ki would be released to about three quarters of Milac's strength. Smiling at both of them as she remained quiet after that awaiting the others to begin moving or to decide what was going to happen.

"Eh, I wouldn't say everything is nessicarily in disrepair, it just seems old and dusty, mostly." Toma spoke, as his white Aura began to flare around him. He floated in the air, and slid his jacket back on after having taken it back from Milac. He smiled as he started heading west some. He flew slow enough so the two of them could keep up, before he would fly close to Ninjin.
"Hey, I gotta ask you something. You're raising your power level above what I've been sensing before. Are you... supressing your energy? And can you teach me how to do that?" Toma would ask while looking at her, still flying towards the lookout. If Milac and Ninjin were paying attention, they'd notice that they were casually flying upwards.
