After all the stuff at Mt. Paozu, Marrow found herself back in the city, well… Back in a city at least. Though this city was far from her original home. Marrow was making efforts to continue her exploration. That said as she was walking quite literally along the streets she was causing quite the commotion. Sure many might have seen a saiyan or maybe a Namekian or something once from a distance… but… Well.. Marrow was quite visibly alien. What with her more insectoid body being so visibly non human. All white with blood red spots, green skin on the joints like a Namekian, and while her face was human looking… those eyes with the blood red irises and black sclera were as freaky as the rest of her body.
As one can imagine, flying would have been easier. There wouldn’t be people trying to get away, or else glaring at her from shop windows. She cut a path through the crowd without trying. But… she had found a friend in Scarlet, and Scarlet couldn’t fly, so Marrow was exploring via ground travel. Scarlet may or may not be here at the moment. Who knows. But it was as likely as it was unlikely that she was to be found somewhere near enough, like in some shop looking at… something. Scarlet certainly fit in better than Marrow, mostly looking human despite a few key features. She could possibly pass as a snake zoanthrope for all Marrow knew. But if she was to be found nearby, it might be rude to just be flying around. Besides, she might as well get used to it.
Her tail hovered over her head, in a way befitting it's scorpion nature. She could almost feel the tip brushing her long blood red hair. But while she was brooding and feeling out off by the human's reaction to her, her stomach gave a growl and she suddenly looked up and shook her head. What was there around here to eat? She could use… Something. What shops were around? Fortunately she seemed to be in an area crowded with shops. There was a sushi bar, your typical burger joint, an ice cream store, and more. Her tail pointing out each one as she spotted it.
Unfortunately, people were standing between her and the stores. So when her stomach growled and her tail started pointing towards them (in their eyes) they became all the more scared. She so longed to tell them all to chill out. Seriously, why so uptight? To her there was nothing threatening about her looking and pointing out available restaurants. And why was there things like sushi, but no specialty stores for alien food? Like, a traditional saiyajin cuisine shop, or a place to enjoy Namekian food. Was that a thing she could just casually do? She wondered what saiyan, Namekian, and arcosian food looked and tasted like. That said she had never seen an arcosian,and only had a drawing of one to go by. That said her total species knowledge was just about… 5… bio androids… her own species, saiyans, (She had met one) humans, (including the animal people) namekians, and arcosians. And she’s only seen 3 or these species in person. Suffice to say, she was new. She’d spent 9 years in a larval form unable to talk to explore freely. So considering that, it wasn’t surprising. Her stomach growled again and She boxed toward the ice cream shop. Smoothies? Could she get those there? If not maybe the burger joint next door? Oblivious to the human seemingly about to set himself as she glared at him. If course Marrow was busy thinking about the store and hardly noticing someone between her and it was talking this in entirely the wrong way.

As per the usual for Retsu, he was in town once more, picking up various supplies needed for the Farm he worked on. Various foods, Hardware tools, and other such items, all lumped in different bags which he held in his hands. He made his way slowly through east capital, walking to each store rather than flying. Every time he flew in the city something ended up happening and his bags ripped. It was really annoying. Yet as he made his way through the streets his scouter went off, warning him of a nearby Power Level. It wasn't anything too dangerous, Nor was it even a threat. However he grumbled,a s curiosity got the best of him.
He made his way towards the power level with little interruption. He held his bags tightly in each hand. Part of him hoped they would want to fight. He always did enjoy putting people in their place, and yet another part of him just wanted to go home and just sleep for a few more hours. And yet, here he was, heading right for it.
When he finally got close enough to see the being the scouter had read he stopped, blinking lightly. It was... Well he didn't know what species, but it was a gross amalgamation of different species from the looks of it. He narrowed his eyes, as the people in the area seemed just as scared as they usually did when something tehy didn't understand showed up. Retsu sighed before suddenly speaking up, his tone commanding.
"You there. The one with the tail and red spots." He said. "Are you Terrorizing these people? Because if you are, I may decide to kill you."

Marrow sighed softly to herself and she patted her stomach idly, but stopped when she felt something coming. Some thing, once again, stronger than her, far stronger. Why was everyone she met far stronger than her? She really needed to pick up some sort of training regiment. Something to make herself… less pathetic. Sure She could crush your average human into a paste effortlessly, but this guy could do the same to her. And that saiyan could do it 50 times over. Yet… she felt… Off. Her no sense detected his power was roughly between triple and quadruple hers, but for some reason she felt he might be stronger than that. It might well be that he was suppressing his power? The saiyan had went from a power roughly 30 times that of hers, down to less than hers because his power made her nervous? But he was trying to keep people safe right,if he truly thought she was terrorizinfpeople and wanted to kill her, suppressing his ki made no sense. Perhaps he didn’t want to attract more attention than need be. That made sense. Marrow should probably learn to suppress her power. Maybe people would feel more at ease then? Hmmm.
”Actually if anything they are terrorizing me. Heheheh. My appearance seems to scare them… I guess all the blood red color does kinda make me look like I was at the scene of some murder... Heheh... I was just walking down the street, my stomach rumbled… And we'll… I started looking around for a good restaurant or something.” Marrow tried to laugh off the self depreciating humor and situation. Whether or not she had performed convincingly, she was unsure of. ”Honestly people just because my belly rumbles and happen to be looking in your general direction doesn’t mean I’m going to eat you. Sickos. Why would you even think that? Seriously quit being creepy.” She spoke that last bit at the people around her rather that at the alien before her. She spoke more confidently than she felt though.
Wait a second… she had seen this person before! Or had she? The Drawing! ”Are you an arcosian?? Scarlet drew a picture of one for me when trying to explain what they looked like… your a very close match…” But she could hardly finish the sentence before Scarlet was back. It turned out she had just been shopping a bit. She spoke to the arcosian then. His name was Retsu? That was good to know. She spoke in a fairly relaxed manner and that helped put Marrow at ease. She turned to Marrow and offered some kind of chocolate. Wait… They had meat in them? Who dipped meat into chocolate? What an odd idea. Nevertheless, she picked one up hesitantly. It was far better than she could have expected. She doubted she’d be willing to die for a box of them, but “to lose a finger/limb for” just didn’t roll off the tongue. ”Thanks! That was a lot better than I was thinking about. The idea of chocolate on meat sounded weird but man does it work!”
Marrow looked towards Retsu again. She had to admit he was intimidating in quite a handsome way. She like the aesthetics of his appearance. While she might look horrific in human eyes, perhaps even they could appreciate his appearance. ”Oh… as you probably heard, my names Marrow.” Marrow scratched behind her head as she spoke, a bit awkward. The situation going from tense to relaxed was a major change.

Retsu frowned at Marrow as she spoke, holding his various bags of items he had acquired. "It seems to me like they are the ones being terrorized." He spoke. "With they way that tail of yours is being held its pretty clear you mean to harm." The Arcosian's icy blue aura made itself known as it covered him. Retsu rose a hand, a small spec of Ki flashing into existence, only for him to completely drop it when Scarlet seemed to pop up in front of him.
Retsu blinked as she spoke. She knew his name, but he didn't seem to remember hers. He stared at her for a few moments before he spoke. "Youuuuuu!" He said, a bit unsure as how to respond to this woman he totally didn't forget completely. A hand quickly went up to his scouter, which he tapped the button to scan Scarlett. Thankfully every power he scanned he saved in his scouter, along with the associated names. "Riiiiiiiiiiiiight Scarlett." He muttered under his breath. She asked if he was bothering her friend, to which he replied. "She was bothering the passerbys." He said.
Then came the question of Levlidan, whom Retsu had no memory of by name. " I.. Uh. Sure?" He said, once more a bit unsure at how to respond.
In the few moments that Scarlet had focused on Marrow he quickly began tapping through his saved scans on his scouter, looking of Levlidan, though none came up. He frowned, mostly to himself, before looking back to Scarlett and Marrow as they addressed him once more.
He looked between the two of them then to Scarlett as she brought out the drawing, which looked remarkably like him, then asked him of his business. He sighed softly, trying to keep his calm. "I am here to pick up parts for a broken tractor." He said. " I work on a farm and live in their Barn. Though I've been considering purchasing a capsule home."
Retsu had been about to fire [MP3] Genocide Bullet, directly in Marrow's face, but the attack was completely dropped when Scarlet surprised him.

Marrow listened And watched anxiously as he was about to use No before Scarlet showed up. Marrow was quite glad she’d shown up. Still, she’d be lying if she didn’t admit that the whole situation confused her. He always did her best to ignore passers by who overreacted, otherwise she’d be crippled by depression. And because of that, truly didn’t see the problem at pointing towards a shop she was thinking of visiting. Was craving smoothies really that big a deal? She had watched humans all her life, it’s how she had learned the language. Humans rarely took offence over pointing at something. Pointing at someone could be considered rude. But even if she was pointing intentionally at someone… it may be interpreted as rude, but even then, not worthy of panic from them and anger from him.
”I really don’t see your logic, how is my tail pointing to an ice cream store I was considering visiting inherently aggressive?” Marrow looked around slightly. Before continuing. if I point with my index finger towards something or someone I am drawing attention to it, not attacking it. How is pointing with my tail any different? I really don’t understand what the problem is. My tail pointed towards a shop I was thinking of visiting… I guess if someone was between it and me they might be confused as to why I am pointing at them… but…” Marrow shrugged slightly in a weary way. Seriously, people were weird. No one ever freaks out when a human points at something. ”Is my looking for a place to buy a smoothie really terrorizing people?”
Marrow listened to their exchange but was totally floored when he said he worked on a farm. What, really? Someone that strong just casually working on a farm like a hired hand? She could easily see why he’s be hired, he could protect the farm, and no doubt flying let him do things no one else could do. He could probably run errands in record time. Still, why would the job appeal to him? That was the real mystery here.
Sighing softly she moved her tail, so that the tip now hovered over her head in a scorpion-esque way that was becoming a default position. She might as well do what she could to keep it from escalating. But she loathed the idea of her not having the right to basic gestures. It was ridiculously unfair and biased.

Well I left a Pm a week or so ago,got no response from Retsu, so I am forced to assume he isn't at all interested in continuing or claiming zeni or PL. (I have learned he has moved onto a new char apartently so it seems reasonable for his disinterest I guess. I can fetch a screen shot of the pm I sent to him if required.
I'll have Scarlet post what she wants, or she can stay... But I'm just totally disinterested in this topic after all this time.
So... I wish for Zeni
Pretty pretty please?
