"Blood samples? I didn't know it was quite that serious." Rafar tapped his fingers on his left arm, "Where could he have gotten such a disease, he was perfectly healthy the last time I saw him." At the Heran's shout, Rafar's head would snap around, concerned for his safety. His brain urged him to run, but he suspected that to be the worst possible course of action in this situation, fleeing would only make him look guilty! Luckily it seemed that the big alien didn't know that he was a Sayian, or at least he didn't care enough to punch him through the wall.
He flicked his fingers at Azguard in a lazy approximation of a wave, "Hello Azguard, nice to meet you I guess." Turning from the gelotinous figure, he spoke to the Heran, "In answer to your question, I was told to find three ki-users that were present at one of the Premier Vi-Poi's announcements. It's been hard since all three know how to supress their ki and at least one seems to have moved off planet. I've continued to search, but I'm not exactly holding my breath." Then again, Rafar supposed he hadn't really been trying that hard over the past couple of months, he had been too busy with other matters.

(I'll be combining all parts together here!) "I know of your mission... And of the thrashing the captain gave you, too, for your geneology," Voca replied right as Rafar finished his statement, raising a brow and crossing his arms, suggesting he knew something about Rafar. He continued, alerting the boy with a commanding tone, "At this point, you needn't bother with that mission anymore. As the Commander's incapacitated, I'm calling off your mission for now as temporary commander. So for now, you'll accompany me to find the doctor who took my blood sample... And I believe also took Koldar's as well," he added, waving for him to come with him as he walked out of the room after Azguard. The doctor and Shen made their way out of the room, and just as they neared the room, they would see Azguard going into the room, as well seeing the Heran come out of his own room down the hall! He slapped himself on his face, as he muttered, "What is wrong with you people..?" Over to the side of Koldar's door, about a foot away from the doorway, a panel had opened up, with not only Koldar's purple blood, but a 3 dimensional projecting pad with the DNA results. Voca saw this too and walked over to the doctor, who seemed to be a bit relieved to see the results coming back. He hustled up and, with a heavy sigh, took the tight rubbery hood off his head, revealing his balding head! Voca looked at the cloaked man going into the room, but then redirected his attention to the doctor and asked, "I'm assuming good news, somewhat?""Yes... The sample of blood we took from Koldar seems to not be able to spread about. In fact, it appears more like Spores of some kind have invaded the his bloodstream, either through breath or some other exterior means," the Doctor replied, looking up at the Heran, "Your blood sample and results should be arriving too over there, so to be extra certain, please bring them over to the room and we'll be able to get the captain cured... From my understanding of the Doctor Wavr's reactio-" "Ah, thank goodness," Voca uttered, with a heavy breathe, "Rafar, go collect the blood sample and pad from the panel where we just came from. With Wavr here and... Wait, did you say that-""Azguard, I'm so sorry about the way I acted before..!"Voca seemed to just freeze up for a moment, become like a statue the moment he heard the sad whimpering being directed at the blob creature that came to his room before. Even despite the noises of machines going off, Voca seemed more stunned at that! The doctor, meanwhile, rushed inside with Koldar's data, and shouted, "What happened? Why's he- WHY ARE YOU FLAILING HIM AROUND LIKE A RAG DOLL!?" Wavr seemed to have been struggling to stop Tekuma from shaking Koldar around to wake him up! The commander, himself, seemed to have been moaning in pain, with saliva flinging from his mouth. The doctor rushed over, put the sample and data pad down, and with both a pop of the senzu extract vial and splash of it into Koldar's mouth, the machines stopped blaring, as Koldar reawoken with wide eyes and reinvigorated! He still remained weak like before, but Tekuma would be able to immediately notice that he was feeling much harder to move around than before! The commander looked at her with a smile, before looking at Wavr and the doctor, stating, "I feel fine... It may have looked like she was shaking me violently, but she wasn't. That much I could tell in my state of deliriousness... Now Wavr, calm down and release her! And clean yourself up, too!""Ah geez... It's a good thing I came back now," the doctor retorted, hopping down from the bed and grabbing both the sample and data pad, "Had I not come back with that, the commander here would've been flat lining..! Doctor Wavr, I wish for you to take over this case. This is getting a bit too much for my own health. The data on the infection is in here, as well as a sample of the Commander's blood. Please don't do anything rash..!" The doctor looked at Tekuma, and the rest of the people in the room, including those that were entering. He emphasized, "That goes for all of you..! I wish to not call the BBA's enforcers to take you all out of this hospital!" The stout doctor dragged himself out of the room, grumbling about missing the old days when people could just be injected with sedative if they gotten out of line... Something about a Prohibitory Act preventing that since the 90s. Voca, meanwhile, walked in, stating, "Mm... Thank you, doc'.""Oh, no proooooblem..." Wavr, meanwhile, released her failing grip from Tekuma and walked over to the pad, sniffling as she did! She tapped it several times, before the project stood above the end of Koldar's bed. She put the pad down on the end, too, as she looked at the expanded imagery. The image before them looked a bit like a strings surrounding the blood cells. Wavr found this strange, as she uttered, "Strange... I thought we were dealing with a virus! Yet this image and the data's suggesting that the Commander's bloodstream has some strain of spores in it. Going by the complex structure, it looks like some tree's pollen invaded the bloodstream.""Pollen," Koldar asked, an eyebrow raised, "What do you mean?"( Click here for a better image of what I was trying to describe. “I’m so sorry…,” Doctor Wavr babbled. Azguard’s little eyes looked at her, expressing a cute tranquillity – the standard beady beaming of lidless optics. Exactly why this unusual woman was issuing an apology was completely unknown to the bubbly Bio–Android, for as far as it knew, she had committed to no negative acts. Was it not custom to apologise for accidents, or did she simply not grasp the concept? Either way, the subject of her expression dismissed it with equivocal nonchalance. Whatever she was apologising for, it mattered not.
‘Azguard does not know why Miss is apologising,’ it communicated: ‘But whatever it is, Azguard is okay!’ Such an answer coming off as selfless in nature, the nascent panacea turned its attentions to the gathering of souls. The stout doctor had claimed something which it had not quite heard, and once more the mess of bodies was proving far more distracting than the malleable medic might have liked. The shaking of Koldar was halted, though at had least been of benefit – the strange and horned humanoid was now in a conscious, attentive state. Even so, Azguard could not help but notice that he looked a little worse for wear, but that was natural. After all, he was a patient in a hospital, suffering from unknown ails.
‘What is this green liquid?’ Azguard echoed curiously, its question going unanswered as the rest focused on considerably more pressing matters. The results of the blood tests had come in, and Wavr was quick to analyse them with her own eyes. Her description was an apt one, but the amorphous orderly was surprisingly ignorant of it all. Hovering slightly over the heads, it examined the imagery with its own eyes, but pictography meant nothing. While a human (or other) biologist could make sense of such scans, Azguard could not. Not for lack of trying, but simply because it could not learn anything beneficial from the mere aesthetic of microscopic agents. It needed something tangible, and Koldar’s blood sample – as strange of hue as it was – was just the ticket!
“Going by the complex structure…”
“Pollen…?” ‘Can Azguard have this, please?’ the malleable medic interjected. Having shaped its azure Plasm into a vague semblance of humanoid shape, crafting rudimentary arms and legs of the gelatinous material, the Bio–Android gestured vaguely to the vial within which the Arcosian’s haematic design was contained. Like hungry fish in a tank, the Core and its various compliments – minute orbs of grey flesh that seemed strangely lively all of a sudden – had swam to the side of the Plasmic body closest to the sample. Its telepathic voice was almost whiny, like an impatient child’s intonations: ‘Azguard can try and process Koldar’s blood and make antibodies to counter these spores – they just need to absorb it!’
I’m giving my permission (if you all agree on it) for one of you to do the honours of giving Azguard the blood sample so it can get to work! Just pour the stuff into its Plasm! Though, I think that’s up to Koldar Frost (it’s his story) as to whether or not that’s a plausible approach!

He blinked for awhile unsure what was going on. When he entered the girl seem to throwing around Koldar like he was a rag doll. Shen was stunned just standing off at the side at the sheer idiocy that was occurring. Well actually for once, there was not. He blinked rubbing his eyes his jaw aloft, he assumed she be doing something crazy, but she seemed calm, prehaps she was a doctor. Maybe he was wrong The Deceptive pressed his hand lightly to his forehead letting out a sigh. Was he getting old an assuming things, it really didn't matter He was not a doctor so he pondered what he should. Seeing as they were about to get back to work Shen stepped back, "Seeing as i'm not gonna be much use here i'm gonna step outside if you need anything i'll be waiting outside." Shen tipped his hat walking out of the room closing the door lightly as he sat on a bench in front of the room watching through the window. He really didn't want to sit and watch the red haired woman be stupider then she already proven to be, he hoped they could figure out how to help him.

Rafar's eyes held Voca's as the shock resounded through him. So he knows I'm a Sayian....wonderful. Voca would see a flare of suppressed annoyance rise in Rafar's eyes, before it quickly disappeared, "Rodger, right behind you." The Sayian definitely didn't appreciate being ordered around like some toady, especially since he hadn't ever officially signed up with the AE! He followed Voca through the corridor to find a large 3 dimensional screen displaying an in-depth analysis of Koldar's blood. Rafar crossed his arms, the blue screen reflected in his pupils. Symbols and numbers played across the screen, informing the doctors of information that was beyond his understanding. It made him wonder, what kind of disease could drop the enormously powerful Koldar dead in his tracks?
Rafar's speculation was abruptly cut off as the big Heran once again ordered him around. This time, the alien wanted him to be an errand boy, fetching Voca's test results from the other room. Voca would notice a slight pause as Rafar absorbed his frustration about having to perform such a mundane task. “On it.” Turning on his heel, Rafar returned to the small room he had just vacated. As he was entering, a female human also entered the room, carrying a small metal cylinder and a handheld computer. She spotted him, “Hello sir. Do you know where a being named ‘Azguard’ is? I was informed by my superiors to bring these directly to him." Rafar nodded, “I’ll take those thanks.” Retrieving the two items with a gentleness not displayed often among his kind, and slowly returned to the room where Koldar tossed and turned.
He froze at the doorway, unsure of what to make of the chaos. Everyone seemed to be shouting at Tekuma for ‘shaking’ the commander, which had, at least, produced results. Koldar was conscious, and seemingly lucid, or at least he was shouting instead of drooling. Remembering what the other doctor had said, Rafar gave a glance towards the gelatinous mass. As trustworthy as the being had seemed, he was not sure if he was willing to trust it with the lives of two people! Plus, it would probably be more diplomatic to give the items to the more experienced doctor. Giving a nod to the Arocsian captain, he tapped Wavr on the shoulder and handed her the two items, “I believe you wanted these yes?”

(I'd received permission from Tekuma Mayakon for this, and is going for Power level with Heavy Weights, Social, and LMB. Good thread Tekuma! Sorry to see you jump out early. It was getting around to wrapping up!) Koldar was released by the calm grip of the red haired girl, who seemed to perk her head up and look towards a wall. The Commander looked up, asking her, "Something wrong, Miss?"She explained to the group that she needed to be moving, that more orders came in. Tekuma seemed a tad disgruntled, undoubtedly from this whole exchange, so the commander told her, "Thank you for your assistance ma'am... Perhaps I may have been a bit out of line with you leader."The doctor gave him a look, before having her attention being diverted. Voca gave way to the android, not bothering to look her in the eyes as she left in a hurry. Wavr thanked the man, as she shrunk Koldar's digital projection, allowing for Voca's own data to be shown up! She mulled over it for a while, trying to find any of the similar irregularities in Voca's blood to Koldar's. Yet... Nothing! This relieved her, as she spelt out, "Alright, good! It looks as though it's not in Voca's Heran blood. Otherwise, I think we would've seen it in the sample... You most certainly, Azguard, but that'll be dangerous for you," Wavr replied to the interjecting blobby creature. She was curious how exactly the production of the antibodies would happen, but the risk of Azguard becoming infected (and not to mention all the inquiry she had for the strange gelatinous medic) wasn't something Wavr wanted to risk! Voca walked over to the wall opposing from the door, squeezing by the two, and having himself a seat against it on the ground, thinking aloud, "Well, if this Azguard is willing to try to overpower it, itself, then wouldn't tests be appropriate?""Voca, I need you to zip it," Wavr ordered him, pinching all her webbed fingers towards Voca and not even looking at him. Voca pressed his bearded lips tightly, performing the 'zipping' motion across his lips and tossing the metaphorical zip lock away! Koldar, meanwhile, remained attentive to the blood sample of his, recalling the hazy dream of his. He pondered on whether or not he should bring it up, but he knew Wavr! He knew that if he had something to tell her, she'd get it from him in the end. So, the commander told them, "I remember having a strange dream a just a moment ago. It may have been in regards to the fact I'm fighting this disease, currently, but I remember being nearly killed in it. However, I suddenly felt my strength come back to me, albeit briefly, so that I could fight this off. It hadn't lasted a while, but it definitely assisted.""Oh," Wavr questioned, crossing her arms as she begun to theorize aloud, "Well, lately you've been exhibiting odd behavior, so it may be possible your body's become more aware of the infection inside of you, and even the injection of Azguard's substance into your bloodstream.""... You injected me with what?""Actually, because of this reaction, it may be good to let Azguard have a go at it! However, Azguard, we can't have you being infected. We'll need you to give us a vial or two of the medicinal juices making your body at the current time, if that's possible."Koldar's face seemed to become flush, as the thought of Azguard's... Stuff, was floating inside of him. While it helped, it creeped the Commander out! He looked at Rafar, and in a way of dismissing the awkwardness he had, he spoke up, asking, "Rafar, it's good to see you once more! I take it you've found some of the people I requested of you?"He was clearly not happy, and was putting on a faux inquiry to the saiyan. However, it would've been good for him to figure that out. ( Azguard , you're up!)

Doctor Wavr’s expression of concern was an entirely valid one – even Azguard knew that any disease that it tried to absorb would have to enter its body, proper. Not just the malleable blue secretion within which it hovered, but the Core being – the sausage-shaped bundle of grey flesh that was the true Bio-Android. Alas, much like the human immune system, the only way to counter an illness was to experience it. Within the confines of the laboratory it recalled the many specimens, from minor ails to more vicious diseases, whose forms had been physically injected into its body.
Tumbling energetically, Azguard waited and waited. It seemed everyone present had something to say, though whether or not it remained relevant to the topic was dismissed with certain nonchalance. In all honesty, all that the medicinal marvel really wished to do was fulfil its sworn duty. Despite being a doctor of sorts, it cared little about the proper procedures or ‘scientific method’ to which many a soul abided. Wavr’s desire to know was arguably as intense as its own, albeit for differing reasons, yet still bound to the same locus.
“You injected me with what?” ‘Not what,’ Azguard replied, communing with Koldar and then also Wavr on a telepathic level: ‘Azguard’s Plasm is made of lots of special cells, but Azguard needs to absorb this pollen so they can make more of those cells to fight against it.’
Curiously, somewhat bemused by the alien lady’s lack of deeper knowledge, the nascent panacea turned to look at Koldar’s doctor. At first, her words and concerns had made perfect sense – even the bubbly Bio-Android could fall prey to the infections that it absorbed. However, her most recent suggestions and enquiries only served to prove her lack of understanding of the subject matter that was Azguard. Why would she want more Plasm if the cells that comprised it were not yet suited to fighting the parasitic plant matter? At best, the blue gel’s sole purpose was to – as it had done with Koldar – support the existing immune system.
‘Azguard’s Plasm doesn’t need injecting into Azguard,’ it said: ‘They already have it inside them!’ Caution tossed to the wind, the gelatinous being took up Koldar’s blood sample using a simplistic hand, moulded from the very Plasm it had been talking about. Unfortunately, for all its flexibility, it still needed a helping hand in handling such matters as these. On a microscopic level it could do so much, but the finicky containers and devices that Earthlings and other sapient races made use of were more often than not an obstacle to a creature without true prehensile extremities, not to mention the lack of apposable thumbs.
‘Could somebody inject this into Azguard, please?’
Just inject the blood sample into Azguard!

He sat outside listening to the conversation going on inside, he could still here everything but he didn't want to be in the way while they were working on Koldar, he was no doctor after all, he was good at finding people but he was no doctor nor good at bringing people from the brink of death to health. Both of these skills were things needed in that room at the moment and without them, there seemed little reason to take up most of the space. Seeing the red hair leave he waved though that was it, he really didn't like her all that much but seemed she was a good person, she made mistakes, she was young. He smiled lightly as he looked inside seeing. Listing to all the doctor talk he was complete lost, he really had no idea what was going on in there, he waited for the time being outside waving at any passerby, he still had some questions for the Aroscian captain, why was he in a hospital other than being sick, he was a famous aroscian captain after all with the restoration of the Empire why would he still on earth, wouldn't he want to be on earth? Seems wired to him, perhaps he had a reason that was just not public knowledge, that was what he wanted to ask.

(Sorry, Rafar. We gotta keep this thread going, as it's already almost been a month since we started it!) Koldar and Voca snickered a bit at Azguard's words, as Wavr told him, "That's not what I meant Azguard. I meant putting your plasm and and a droplet in it, so we can observe exactly how the spores will be effected upon contact with said Plasm... AND WHY ARE YOU TWO LAUGHING?! Especially you, damn it!"The commander ended up belting a louder laugh, which caused Voca to chime in with the same, before Koldar replied, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I just didn't expect that response... But," Koldar paused, taking a breath to calm his heart down a bit, "You should let Azguard handle it. I'm sure it knows what it's doing! Besides, if something goes wrong, we're in a hospital's emergency ward, with you and I'm assuming a handful of nurses to help out.""Rrrrrrgh...""Come now, 'Gilly,' the three of us know if something went wrong that you couldn't fix, us two numbskulls would be dead right about now! It'll be fine."Wavr put a webbed hand to the syringe, tapping the glass casing as she pouted. She wasn't too sure if things were going to work out as Koldar hoped... But that little pet name he had for her bugged her a bit, bringing a leer out directed at the Captain who's smile remained, but the eyebrows were raised, knowing he ticked her off a bit. However, he also knew she'd become more 'open' to ideas too with it! "... Fine," she conceded, taking the syringe in hand and Koldar's blood sample into the other. She stuck it through a hole near the top, the vial turned upside down so it could easier go in. She had taken out 2cc of the 20ml vial. Taking the needle out, she tapped it a few times and asked Azguard, "Are you ready? We don't know how fast this thing'll operate once it's in you."( Azguard, your go!)

‘Oh…’ Corrected, Azguard paused. Misunderstandings were commonplace, though in this case it might well have been a result of the malleable medic’s sense of urgency, impatience. The idea of having a scientific assessment of how its Plasm functioned in contact with the spore had completely skipped its mind – it just wanted to get this over and done with for Koldar’s sake. Knowledgeable of that fact or not, Doctor Wavr obliged. The syringe was primed, infected blood contained within, as the Piscean person posed the question.
‘Azguard was made ready,’ the Bio-Android replied. Through its psychic intonation, the astute could perhaps make out a childish excitement – a naïve anticipation of what was to come. Without further ado, it presented its Plasm exterior, ready to accept the needle’s piercing point. Not that it mattered, for one could just as easily have poured the substance over the gelatinous shell and achieved a similar effect. For that reason, the fleshy Core’s sausage-shaped silhouette swam to the blue bubble’s very edge.
In went the needle.
Koldar’s corrupt life’s fluid entered the amorphous orderly’s outer shell like some sort of darkened fog. But alas, like blood in the water, it quickly drew in the sharks. Every single one of Azguard’s accompanying biomasses were yanked elegantly through the cellular sludge and gathered like a feeding frenzy at the abundance of invasive substance. Just a scant measure of blood was more than enough; a veritable buffet of cells upon which it could ‘dine’ in its own unseen way. Microscopic processes got to work within seconds as controlled neurochemical impulses were exchanged among the creature’s form. It was as easy as breathing, rhythmic as a heartbeat, and done on a subconscious level.
‘Hm… Mister Koldar’s DNA is a bit like Azguard’s,’ the nascent panacea noted, not even a minute having passed by since the injection. Every little protein that comprised by Arcosian’s genome had been dissected, processed and memorised on a subcellular level. All of this information was being fed directly to Azguard’s own brain, forming a brand new instinct within its mind. However, what intrigued it most were the similarities between its own genetic code and that of the patient in question. Though by no means identical and definitely not directly related, there was some semblance of heritage. Indeed, the Bio-Android had always experienced such a familiarity when sampling human code, but in seeing Earthlings on a regular basis it had dismissed it. It was made to heal people, so it only made sense that its genes were somewhat compatible. But Koldar was not human.
‘Azguard wonders,’ it asked openly, ‘what is Mister Koldar?’ As it awaited its answer, yet more information sprang to mind. The invasive pollen’s spores had finally started to reach the point of processing, but there was something not quite right. From a genetic standpoint, the microbial matter was utterly alien – so far so that there was almost no comparison to be drawn. Even Walker, who was a walking and talking tree, barely matched such an infectious agent. But it was not just the DNA that drew further concern…
For plot progression’s sake I’ve taken the liberty of having Wavr inject the sample into Azguard. It’ll take a short while, but the spores might already be having an adverse effect upon it!

Rafar tried to stay out of the way of the doctor and Azguard, not wanting to disturb the Commander's apparent recovery. He gave a nod towards the mechanical hybrid as she dashed out, but did not speak. Tekuma was a bit all over the place, plus part of the Blue Banner, so he thought it best to stay out of her way. He was relieved to see that Voca was not affected with the disease also, since that meant the disease was not contagious! Considering how effective it appeared to be, it was not something he would like to have.
Rafar inwardly grinned while keeping his outer self carefully neutral. It was very amusing to see the apparently serious Koldar to be talking about a dream, and then being so obviously embarrassed. He would laugh out loud if not for the fear it would get his neck snapped. He shook his head as Koldar inquired about his mission, "Located yes, contacted no. I have deduced that you meant the BBA officer." He made air quotes, "Captain NOVA and the Turtle School Master Ninjin Nedrag." The first he had found simply through BBA broadcasts, and he had learned about the second through tournament flyers he had picked up. "They are both on Earth, but have proven to be very elusive to say the least." Rafar grimaced, it was hard to track two people who moved at supersonic speeds and were allied to the world government! "However I think I have found a way to potentially contact the latter. As for the Namekian..." He shrugged, "I couldn't tell you really. I flew out to Namek itself, yet there was no sign!"
Happily it seemed like the emergency was coming to a close with Azguard's contribution, yet Rafar decided to stick around and see Koldar's response.

Wavr easily punctured the form of Azguard, injecting the blood of Koldar inside. There seemed to be some fighting going on that was clearly visible, as if the blood itself were some crazed animal in water, before it suddenly calmed. Wavr found this fascinating, her viser scouter recording this occurrence! Meanwhile, the Commander was asked for his species, to which the Commander replied, "Arcosian, Azguard! Your familiarity should be good, for we are the species that runs the empire... Although we do recruit many kinds of species, as we recognize that while they may not be as powerful as we, they have their own means of being helpful.""Careful commander. Your pride is showing," Voca spoke, a smile on his face as he verbally jabbed at Koldar. "Oh shut it!"The two laughed, before Rafar spoke up about his mission. He had managed to locate two of the three, each turning out to be named Captain Nova and some martial arts master named Ninjin Nedrag. Both were on Earth, as Koldar expected, but they seemed to have eluded Rafar, with the Namekian having too eluded his search! Koldar simply released a huff through his nose with a frown as he told him, "Well... You tried. At the very least, you went out and got their names despite those descriptions. This is good news! You don't need to continue that search."After that statement, Koldar returned his gaze to Azguard, asking it, "You mentioned my DNA being a bit like yours. In what regards did you mean, there?"( Azguard , your turn! Lets try to wrap this up in the next 2 posts or so. This thread has gone far long enough.)

“Arcosian, Azguard,” announced Koldar proudly. Wavr silently observed the biological processes unfurling within the Bio-Android’s amorphous shell. Meanwhile, Azguard’s attentions were steadily being diverted from the conversation, its mind finding fascination within what it was processing. The infectious agent that had been attacking Koldar was actually rather passive, though no less dangerous because of it. The issue was finding a way to neutralise such a form without directly starving it of its food source – the pollen was doing whatever it could to try and stake its claim to the medicinal marvel’s own cells. However, symptoms were absent.
‘Hm? Oh! Mister Koldar’s DNA has some of the same nucleotide pairings as Azguard,’ it explained with certainty, ‘so Mister Koldar’s DNA is about as similar to Azguard’s as human DNA… Does that mean Azguard is part Arcosian?’
The thought of being genetically related to the peculiar life form was quite intriguing, but alas the malleable medic was confused by such a possibility. Koldar was, as far as it was concerned, a unique individual. His genetic coding was not so close as to speak of direct ancestral relations, but close enough to suggest a similar original base. Only one conclusion could possibly have been drawn from this, but somehow even that eluded Azguard’s thoughts as it received a neurochemical confirmation. Like a microwave oven beeping, the anomalous entity tumbled excitedly as its Plasm lit up briefly.
‘Azguard is done!’ Shaping its exterior into a vague humanoid figure, it extended a liquid limb. Like a river’s flow, a bubbling current seemed to traverse the midst of the featureless appendage and congeal at its end point. Over to the surgical tray it moved, depositing a few cubic centimetres’ worth of Plasm. The gel looked no different – the same smooth, azure, mostly transparent sludge that encompassed its form. However, on a microscopic level, it was something fresh. That gathering of cells had a gift that the previous dose did not, though there was no better test than to inject it into Koldar’s bloodstream. At least internally, Azguard’s immune system had adapted to fight against the invasive pollen; this dosage had been specifically crafted to suit Arcosian immunology…
