Chai had travelled back into the North Capitol, holding a small capsule in his hand, containing the ship he used to travel to this universe. The sky had darkened, and most of the humans were fast asleep in their homes. Guardia lied hidden in his sheath, which sat on the ground next to Chai's black, hooded robes, which were nearly folded on the ground. Standing in front of this universe's parallel to the same dumps he looted the parts for the universe-hopping machine, Chai had come here in hopes of finding some parts to repair the vessel. The Special Forces had did a number to it with their Ki blasts just before they flew off... Climbing over the chain link fence after throwing his belongings onto the other side, the ninja goat landed on the ground of the fence with a thud, grimacing as his sensitive nose picked up every scent inside the landfill. Ew.
But Chai had a mission to fulfill. Determined as ever, the goat began to get to work, sliding a pair of gloves he borrowed from the hospital he brought was brought to by Shen and Duri. Sliding his bandanna over his muzzle to supress the scents around him somewhat, the goat fumbled around in the mess of garbage, pulling out some mechanical parts from the trash heap. A hard drive here, some trashed computers there- none of this was the same compared to the loot he found in this place back in his universe! Where were the trashed Capsule Corporation spacecrafts, the abandoned engines, and even some bits of Chromiun and Resillium here and there. Sighing and running a hand down his face, Chai began to feel like this was a futile search...
Keeping his persistance intact, the goat continued to rummage around in the heap, occasionally throwing some trash over the fence in frustration. While he was hunting through the heaps of discarded items, an all too familiar ki nagged at the back of the goat's head. Quickly jolting and turning around, the goat's ears twitched as he rubbed his eyes, trying to confirm his senses were not lying to him. But every time, the same feeling tugged at the back of his head. The same Ki of one of his dear friends from his own universe... "C...Collan?" The zoan spoke to himself in a hushed voice, simply staring agape as the ki approached. |

Collan had been flying at high speeds, at some point he had sensed a high energy when he passed through this town. He ignored it at first, but now that he's passing through and sensing it again, he had decided to finally check it out. He wasn't going to let it slide this time. He had to check if this person had anything terrible in mind to do. He stopped when he got close, he looked around until he pinpointed it at a disposal area at some kind. So, he flew down slowly and landed, looking right at what appeared to be a goat Zoan. "So your where the energy was coming from...you don't look evil..." Collan said as he inspected him. "Though that bandana around your face does make you look suspicious."

Lo and behold, Chai's old buddy, sparring partner, and fellow member of the Crimson Striker Rebellion appeared in front of him. The goat zoan stood agape for a moment, mouth wide beneath his bandanna and his eyes as large as saucers. Blinking a few times after instinctively readying into a defensive stance, the goat was unable to regain his usual composure. His old friend didn't recognize him- understandable, since this wasn't the same Collan Chai had known. Tilting his head and biting his lip, the goat still stared agape when Collan said something about Chai's own energy, and the fact that he didn't look quite evil. Well, he was considered a terrorist back in Universe Five, so the goat took that as a compliment. Chai promptly took of his bandanna, scars visible on his lower face. The fact that his right eye was missing was a thing, too.
Simply staring agape for a moment, tears had began to well up in the shocked goat's eyes. He knew this wasn't his Collan, but... He just had a lot of feelings now. Seeing the person he left behind, the person that probably thought he was dead, and gave Chai his undying aid during the dark times of the Rebellion was all too much. And Chai just left his Collan back in that dark universe to die for his own selfish desires. What kind of friend was he to just leave like that? Chai didn't bother, nor notice the tears that had began to stain his white fur. "C. . .Collan." The goat instantly recognized his friend, forgetting how he was sworn to secrecy to the fact that he was from another universe.
"I missed you. . ." After his little emotional breakdown, the goat wiped some of the tears from his eyes, taking a moment to process what just happened, before his pupils quickly shrank as he looked down, an expression that read "OH SHIT" plastered across his once depressed face. He fucked up. He gave away their secret. Oh nonononononono, whyyyyyy. Swallowing hard and sweating profusely, the goat glanced over to the side, some tears still visible on his cheeks. "Crap, I can explain, forget I said that, I-I'm n-not... Aaauuuuugggh!" Chai knew he fucked up big time with this one. Guardia was going to be pissed, no doubt... Could he really trust this universe's Collan, whom Chai was a complete stranger to, with his secret? Right now he kind of just wanted to bolt and bail the situation, but his thoughts and fears kept the goat frozen awkwardly in place... |

He continued to look at this goat Zoan until...he looked like he was about to cry! Was something wrong!? Did Collan smell like onions!? He sniffed his armpits to make sure, thankfully he smelled fine. Perhaps someone dumped some onions around her? Who knows really, but that's when he said the hero in training's name. "W-wait? You know my name? Who exactly are you!?" Collan was...confused to say the least. That's when the goat looked shocked, what was wrong now!? In fact, with what he was saying, it seemed he was just as confused as Collan. "So uh...what's going on here exactly?" At this point Collan wanted more answers than action really.
But then something had caught Collan's attention. He had sensed another energy coming from around here. He looked around, even in the direct area of where it was, but didn't see anyone. So, he just simply shrugged it off like it was nothing.

Chai was still freaking out over the fact that he actually snapped and gave himself away. Sure, he could just run into the shadows right now and bail, but that would be even more suspicious! Was it the best to tell the truth? The Collan from Chai's universe was one of his closest allies, and trusted partner even before he met Guardia. "...This is going to sound ridiculous. But you must swear to tell NO ONE about what I am about to say, 'capiche? If the word finds out about this, well... There's no telling who is going to come after me." Should Collan promise to never speak of what the zoan was about to say, the goat would close his one eye and inhale deeply. Before he could speak, his opened halfway shen he sensed another power nearby. Who was this? The power put Chai on edge, visible by the fact that some of his fur could be seen standing on edge. It was best to keep his voice down with someone else around. 'Okay, Chai, suck it up and just say it, he's your buddy, you can trust him...' Closing his eyes and inhaling once more in anticipation, the goat opened his one eye, expression solemn and uncertain. His tone was quieter so just the two of them could hear their conversation. "I'm from another universe." Okay, he did it, the truth was out!
Chai remained silent for a few moments, letting the fact sink into this alternate version of Collan. Shaking his head, Chai held his hands out, still pleading his case in case Collan did not beleive him, still speaking in a hushed, urgent tone. "I know this sounds crazy, but I swear it's true! Back in my universe, I knew you! Look look look, here's proof. I know your mother's name is Amar, and she's a Saiyan, right? My universe's you told me!" Chai knew more about his friend, but simply knowing his mother's name and species should be enough. Calming down ever so slightly, a glum expression crossed the goat's scarred face. His secret was out- hopefully nobody else was around to hear them. "So I bet you can understand if someone found this out, they would exploit me to travel to another universe themselves. If the existence of the multiverse gets out to the public, the results would be catastrophic!" Chai proclaimed, still speaking in a hushed tone with that strange power nearby. That was true- when the word got out about the Rebellion's universe-hopping machine and the existance of the multiverse, the Special Forces came and nearly annihilated the Rebellion. Chai... wasn't sure if his Collan survived the attack or not.
"If I hadn't come here... If I hadn't come here first, someone much more powerful and malicious would be in my place." Chai did not speak the name of the president of the Earth in his universe. Bing was hands down a monster, despite contrary belief in universe five. Some people saw that dictator as a hero- and the rebellion was a band of evil terrorist in their eyes! Chai's posture tightened a little as he crossed his arms, fists clenching when he recalled the man that brought so much pain in his world. Calming down and opening his one eye, he spoke one more time to Collan. He probably had many questions for him now... "If you are anything like the Collan I knew, I know I can trust you with this information. I have nothing to hide, so if you have any questions, ask away. But I will let you know that the universe I hail from... is not very pleasant."

Collan waited for the goat man's answer, he simply nodded when they asked if they'd keep the information to them self. Then, after a few moments, he finally got his answer. This goat man...was from another universe? "...Whaaaa?" Collan had a very confused look on his face, another universe? He never thought those existed.
He was going to say he still believes the man, as Collan has seen stranger, but then they started pleading about how they aren't lying. Starting to say that he knew Collan, and even knew Amar's name and that she was a Saiyan. He then continued to go on about how it would be terrible if anyone else found out about other universes being a thing, people would try to abuse it.
The hero in training at least could grasp that, so he nodded again. But that's when he said something else, "If I hadn't come here first, someone much more powerful and malicious would be in my place". Collan thought about that for a second, someone more destructive? More evil? Is something wrong in the place this guy comes from?
But finally, Collan was allowed to get more answers, which was good. "Alright, I only really have two questions. First is, who are you exactly?" If Chai gave his name, Collan would sit down, and think about if he knew anyone with the same name. Though if Chai gives it away or not, Collan would still ask his second question moments later."If this world is as bad as you say it is...who dies?" For once in his entire life, Collan's voice was grim. If he and his mother existed in that other universe, then other people who he knows...who he loves must be there. People who he'd want to protect with his life, trying to be the hero he's wanted to be.

Chai had calmed down now that he dropped the bomb, although some worry and anxiety was still bubbling up. Letting out a sigh of relief when Collan believed him. After he allowed his friend to ask questions, the hybrid's first one was about Chai's identity. jerking his head back in the realization he forgot to introduce himself, the goat slid his jet black hood off, speaking with a meek, tired smile as he introduced himself. "Oh, right! Might as well introduce myself... Or would it be reintroducing at this point?... Nonetheless, I am Chai- the second leader of the Crimson Striker Rebellion in my universe."
Collan's next question was simple- "who dies?" Well, the saiyans, arcosians, and anyone who rebelled against Earth's rule, really. "...Well, a lot of people who decided to rebel or fight back perished, unfortunately. The Saiyan and Arcosian Empires dropped like flies... And Earth's President... is the source of the tyranny that was wrought across my world." Chai recalled his times back in Universe 5. It was hard to believe all that was just yesterday...! The rebellion was constantly one edge, but determined to save their world and restore balance, and free the galaxy from the oppressing rule of the earth. "The whole world.... No, entire galaxy was united under a bloody banner. All of those who opposed were killed!... Well, save for a few of us that banded together, including my universe's version of you and myself." Chai spoke, recalling all of the friends he left behind. A look of pure depression flashed across Chai's face for a moment, feeling guilty as ever for leaving his friends to die. Guardia kept telling him they did the right thing, using the universe-hopper before the Special Forces could get it. But was that really the right move? "I wouldn't have come here if my world was sunshine and rainbows, you know." |

Collan listened in on the answers to his two questions, appearntly this universe traveller was named Chai. It seemed like a nice name...oh who was a he kidding? It sounded awesome to him! As if Chai could have been a hero like Collan is trying to be. But, then the answer to his next question came. Appearntly, from Collan's guess, a lot of people probably rebelled. So there's that, but he also said that this was because of Earth's president. "Wait, what?" He never thought the president himself would do it, he never seemed like a bad guy to him. I mean the world wasn't burning the last time Collan checked."Well I don't know how universes work, but perhaps maybe his personality is different? Maybe someone else is president in your universe than this one? Eh, I don't really know." He was basically just guessing at this point, but something else was on Collan's mind. That energy he was feeling was lingering.
He doesn't recognize this energy, yet it feels eerily familiar for some reason. He just continued to shrug it off though, trying to hide that his muscles were tensing up. "So...if everything is as you say it is...then why come here? If you need help, then I'll be perfectly fine with providing myself!" This could be his next step, this could be how he becomes the hero he wants to be.

Needless to say, Collan was shocked at the revalation that the president was the one who caused so much pain and suffering in Universe Five. Chai's one eye was closed shut as he reminisced about the events just yesterday. Collan brought up a point Chai hadn't thought much of- what if this universe's Bing had a different personality? Chai opened his eye, speaking with a doubtful tone and a shrug. "...Perhaps, although I doubt he of all people is all goody-two-shoes here. I don't even know who the president is in this universe. Maybe it's a completely different person. Either way, they haven't made the choices they did in my universe- yet."Collan's next question was a simple one- why come to another universe in the first place? "Well, the original plan was to evacuate the entire Rebellion here so we could prepare in peace. But my partner and I were the only ones to actually make it." Chai's expression sank, making it evident that whatever happened to cause him to be the only one to make it here was not something he wanted to discuss. But he would if Collan wanted him to, it was best to just get it out. Widening his eye when Collan offered his aid, the goat shook his head, speaking in an appreciative and dismissive tone. He was concerned for his friend, and didn't want him to endanger himself here as well. "I appreciate the offer, but I don't want you to endanger yourself. Fighting them is pointless right now... Even Kaula, our previous leader and a Super Saiyan Two, perished under the president's boot like an insignificant bug."
"But..." Chai spoke, closing his eye for a moment, looking away from Collan. He quickly brought his attention back to the hybrid, recalling all the times they sparred together back in his hellish home universe. "I'd like to see if you're just as strong as your counterpart from my universe. Perhaps the three of us can spar sometime?" Chai spoke, catching himself when he said "the three of us." Shaking his head, the goat figured it was about time to introduce his partner to Collan. "Oh, right, I still have to introduce--"
'CHAI WHAT THE FUCK' "G-Guardia!"
A telepathic screech of a voice echoed in the minds of Chai and Collan, causing the goat to clutch his ever so senestive ears and close his eye, opening it briefly when Guadia shut up, but only for a moment. Still speaking in an urgent and somwhat angered voice, the blade and goat partners began to converse, Chai speaking normally and Guardia hopping out of his sheath, looking at Collan. 'IS... IS THAT COLLAN?!' "Mmm-hmm."
'YOU BETTER NOT HAVE TOLD HIM--' "I did." 'WHAT.' "Also, he can hear you. I let him into your telepathic call." 'WHAT.' "Oh, lighten up, Guar! You know we can trust Collan, no matter what universe he's from." 'NO! We are NOT moving past the fact that you SNAPPED and told our secret!! What if someone else is eavesdropping?!'
Chai's expression sank when Guardia mentioned someone possibly eavesdropping. There was that odd power nearby, could that person have been...? "Oh... ffffffuck."

Collan just listened like he did, it upsetted Collan that he couldn't help Chai, sparring did sound fun though. But then a shout ringed in his head. "Holy crap that hurts!!" He shouted, as a sword had started hopping towards him. That thing is alive!? The young hybrid thought to himself, when Rinsuji decided to jump in. Well I'm here aren't I? Okay look, talking sword and dead people in my head are two different things! True, true.
The sword, who it seems was known as Guardia, was arguing with Chai about him revealing things. That's when Chai had said the words "Of fuck" in a way that made Collan think he messed something up, I mean yeah someone else could be listening which was indeed a bad thing. But Collan could easily just convince the person Chai is insane, even though it might hurt the Goat's feelings, it was for the best.

The goat and sword that hailed from a whole other universe continued to freak the fuck out. There was that oh so suspicious power nearby- and someone learning of the other timelines that was untrustworthy could be catastrophic! Word would get out about the many timelines and universes, and people would want to visit them or take the timelines for their own selfish reasons, like a certain president wanted to in Chai's timeline! In his world, cats and dogs, saiyans and arcosians, humans and demons, and many more in the Rebellion lived together in harmony- everything was always in mass hysteria! "Okay, okay, let's calm down here..." Chai spoke, putting a hand to his forehead. Guardia bounced about, still rather angry. His partner broke! He told their secret! This was unforgivable! 'No! You told! And now we're going to be hunted to no end!' Guardia telepathically called again, eye twitching.
For now, Chai could just turn in the direction of the nearby power. With his stressed mood, the goat found it to be hard to place a level on the person's power. All he knew was that someone was nearby, and probably overheard his little snapping. Still sweating rather grestly, Chai waited anxiously for the person to reveal themselves...

Collan just watched as they argued So uh...you going to do something about this? Rinsuji asked. I don't think there is anything I can do. This was...strange, to say the least. But then Collan felt it, that power...it had began to rise! Then it...shrank? What was going on? But then finally, the source of the power had showed it's self.
A tall man, about 7'0" feet or so. He had long black hair that reached to his knees. His face, covered in shadow. "Um...Chai?" Collan pointed to the man, just standing menacingly. The man didn't say anything at all. "Menacing...what are you here for?" The man stayed silent, as he simply held up a hand. A white aura burst from the man, firing a simple blast of energy.
The hero in training would simply jump up to dodge the attack. "Perhaps you two should argue later!" He'd turn to Chai "Alright! If you knew me well, than you should sync with me just fine!" Collan landed back onto the ground, charging his KI.

Slowly turning his head to face the individual which was just as tall as Chai with long black hair that looked like it took hours to comb, the goat would sweat continuously with a crooked expression. Was he found out? Did this man hear him break? What was going on anymore?? Collan pointed to the man, just earning a stressed goat's bleat from the warrior from another world. Collan asked the man what he was here for, but the only response from the man was in the language of a ki blast! Hopping back and out of the way while gripping Guardia's hilt, the blade's voice would resound in Chai and Collan's mind, still enraged, and now somewhat fearful. 'KILL HIM! HE KNOWS TOO MUCH!'
The sword bellowed, his voice inaudible to the mystery man. CHai grit his teeth and stared down at Guardia with wide eyes, speaking to the blade. "W-What?! Wait, we can talk this out, r-right?" He spoke with a nervous shrug. 'Goddammit Chai, stop being so merciful-- FIIIIIGHT!' Collan mentioned Chai knowing him in his world, and thus he would have little trouble syncing up with his old comrade. Still, could the goat even find the will to fight in the first place? "Guardia...! Just let me try this one thing, okay?" The sword responded with an irritated grunt, but closed his eye and let his partner proceed with whatever he had planned.
Chai cleared his throat quite loudly, and would begin taking steps to close the distance between himself and this strange individual. "L-look. you know the truth about me and these many realities... So what do you plan on doing with his information?" Chai spoke, gritting his teeth and speaking once more. "I was never meant to be a fighter. Can we please resolve this peacefully?" The sword questioned, an innocent, pleading expression crossing his face. Tilting his head to the side and letting his ears droop, the goat stood still and left his form open to attack, waiting for the stranger to act... |

Collan got ready to attack, about to strike this warrior that approached them...until Chai did something he never expected. The goat zoan had attempted to reason with him! I mean, it just came out of nowhere! Though that doesn't mean the hero in training was against it, as he didn't have a reason to kill this person...it was just...strange to see someone use words for once. Awww, isn't that nice? Rinsuji's words going through the white haired wonder's head. But, it seemed these words did absolutely nothing really, as he would simply raise a hand, then quickly strike downward and aim for Chai's neck. Rushing towards the two, Collan tried throwing a kick right for the man, hoping to stop the blow. Then something else happened though, another person who looks just like that man had come out of nowhere! Leaping right for Collan and throwing a punch towards the right side of his ribs, sending him flying into a scrap pile.
