Tekuma awoke in a hospital, blinking open her jade green eyes to a blur as she groped around for her glasses. Managing to find them, the young hybrid put them on her face and almost immediately screwed her eyes shut. The bright white of the hospital glared in her eyes, causing the female to have a headache. Where she was, she didn't know and the teen was incredibly lost. Slowly adjusting her eyes to the glare, the girl sat up and looked around.
"Mom.. Dad..? Where are you? Where am I?" Whispered the demoness, eyes wide with terror as a doctor came in. "Wh... who are you? What do you want from me?" Her tone was fearful, she couldn't sense her parent's kis anywhere. She'd gone to bed at home and woke in a hospital, lost, dazed, and very confused. The teen looked around desperately for her parents, tears starting to form in her eyes as she yelled for her parents. "MOM!!! DAD!! WHERE ARE YOU!?!" She cried, tears beginning to fall down her cheeks.
The doctor looked grimly at the sight of the orphaned teenager before him, lips tight before speaking in a low tone. "Miss Tekuma.. Your parents aren't here.. There was a massive fire in Satan City a few nights ago, and you've been unconscious for a while. I'm sorry to tell you both of your parents have passed on, they died in the fire, but not before your mother took you here with her last breaths. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, miss Tekuma."
The hybrid looked at the doctor, hearing him speak she suddenly felt gagged as he spoke. Her parents.. no. This just couldn't be. "They aren't dead." Replied the demonic teen in a low tone, eyes down looking at the bed. "There can't be a chance they died. I refuse to believe they are dead, you are just a liar. A dirty liar. If you are telling the truth, then I think I know who is their killer." Her lip curled in anger, blood starting to rise at the official she believed to be lying. Her eyes narrowed into slits, slightly sharp teeth glinting lightly as she turned her gaze on the doctor.
The male shakes his head quietly, lips tightened again whilist she spoke. "I'm afraid this is true, miss Mayakon. They were pronounced dead by firemen and medical officials as your father burned with your house and your mother died from the toxicity of the smoke. I wish this wasn't true myself, but it is and I am truly sorry for your loss.. The killer was a pale faced man who summoned a monster which was the cause for the fire." He looked down at the ground, shoulders slumped softly to indicate his true sorrow for the young girl left stranded because of the mess.
"YOU ARE A LIAR!" Thundered the disbelieving teenager, aura spiking around her in a flash of blue that knocked over machines and the girl ripped her IVs out brutally. She advanced on the doctor with raging eyes, lip curled back and fists balled tightly. She was still wearing the clothes she went to bed in, and there was something rising within her. "I don't care what you think, or what you say. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE YOUR LIES!" Her yells echoed down the halls, demonic DNA seizing her and heightening her aggression.
Like her father, the female was incredibly angry and seething with rage. Her father's DNA was bubbling and frothing within her, eyes ablaze with a demon's rage. Like father, like daughter, Caraway lived within Tekuma Mayakon still. The girl brought back her hand, ki raging as she went to punch the doctor in the jaw. The doctor was sent flying through the wall, and the girl turned and flew off without a second thought.
The only things her mind registered was heartbreak, and a massive amount of anger she'd never felt before. This was the second time she'd ever hit someone, and something internally was happening to the girl. Her parents were gone, her anger at being unable to stop their deaths and that of her grandma as well made her begin to cry faintly. The tears softly streamed from her jade green eyes and down her pale white complexion. This wasn't happening, it couldn't be. There was NO WAY this was happening.
Her blood pulsed with anger, demonic ki rising higher and threatening to overwhelm the girl. It tore at her being, like a savage dog out for blood. It caused her pain, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth as the demoness touched down in a deserted alleyway. She leaned against the wall building, holding her torso as a burning sensation tore throughout her body. It burned, tearing at her very soul and leaving her rendered helpless as the combination of grief, heartbreak, and rage was too much for her to handle.
It fed the dormant monster within the teen, and her pain was felt throught her body. She was rendered helpless as to wonder what was happening. Her heart raced, blood pounding in every vein, capillary, and artery. It felt like her body was on fire via liquid flame licking at her from the inside out. What was happening to her? The demonic DNA within her fed on her emotions until it finally gained control over her human ki, pushing it down and seizing the girl.
The pain suddenly disappeared and Tekuma collapsed onto the ground, gasping in pain and holding her sides. The death of her parents had set her on a wild ride, one that transformed the girl not only mentally, but physically as well. She was a small amount taller than before, with pointed claws on the tips of her fingers. Her teeth felt sharper, and her eyes windened in shock. Whatever had happened took a toll on the teenager at last, the orphan collapsing onto the alleyway as clouds, bringing rain, began to roll in. Thunder clapped and roared, and soon enough she was left in the rain alone..
If this person was really the killer, Tekuma would go after them and seek to slice their throat with her bare hands. She remembered an powerful ki of an previously not sensed species, the ki sticking in her determined mind as in her sleep, her claws sunk into the dirt below. People would look over the pale hybrid, not noticing her as they passed in the rain under their umbrellas.
A younger woman however, about in her early twenties, would notice the soaked teenager in the alley and move to gently pick her up. The demoness' claws had unfixed themselves from the turf below, and under the umbrella the two moved toward the woman's house. She was careful to not wake the strange-looking being; yet something about the girl in the woman's arms made her feel sympathetic. What had happened to the poor girl..?
After a few hours, the demon hybrid's eyes would snap open and she felt for her glasses once more; jamming them upon her facial features. A strange house was before the young halfling, who got immediately nervous. Where am I? There's someone nearby, what do they want with me? The door creaked open and the woman from before entered, careful not to further agitate the teen. "Are you alright?" She asked, concern in her eyes.
The orphaned female folded her arms, lip curling as she turned away and looked towards the window. Her voice was sharp with pain, there was definitely something wrong the girl refused to let the woman know. Her clothes looked washed, and she smelled clean. Had this woman taken care of her without waking her? How was that possible? Regardless, her sharp white teeth glinted slightly from the sunlight. "It is none of your business. I am taking my leave now; and if you try to stop me I will hurt you."
The woman moved towards the halfling, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder as she turned towards the window, getting out of bed and walking towards it. Unable to stop her moving forward, the girl had been heavier than she looked. The weighted gear had been undamaged, the blue wristbands on her arms still putting strain on the girl's ki. Tekuma looked toward the woman, tone dark as the woman stood arms outstretched in front of the window. "Get out of my way. I will give you five seconds to do so."
A ball of ki began forming in her outstretched palm, crackling with blue electricity. "One." Growled the girl, to the still unmoving human. "Two." Her ki ball got stronger, crackling with even more energy. "Three.." The demoness' eyes had narrowed to feral slits, teeth curled in frustration. The woman before her seemed to falter nervously, looking at the ball then back at the girl. "Four.." The sheer intimidation of the appearance and tone of the teen before the human woman caused her arms to fall to her sides.
The attack dispersed into her body, as Tekuma strode forward and out of the open window, blue ki sparking around her. She'd sensed the ki of that murderer nearby, and she wanted to get her revenge. She didn't care about the kis around it; that one ki alone was what she focused upon, blood frothing and boiling as the half human's head pounded. Her body itched with the thought of that sick being's blood on her hands.. Her revenge would be soon..
