Another day passed after the three days Holly Sprig spent laying in bed before she finally was able to get out of bed and stand. When she finally did, she quickly grabbed her white dress and changed into it as she carefully balanced on her two human legs and six insect legs. She was not used to the bee abdomen that stuck out from her back, but she gently walked across the wooden floor of her home and out to the balcony entrance of her home into a village of humanoid insects like her. A crowd stared up at her for a moment as she exited the building and whispered to themselves, "Isn't that the girl who left the village without telling anyone?"
Holly could not hear that they said this, but she stumbled over to a rope at the edge of the balcony and let it drop to the ground floor. Then she climbed onto the wooden railing and positioned herself downwards and started to climb down head first. She had been thinking about it for a long time since her rest, but if she wanted to function in her society of Florians better she knew she would have to get used to her new six legs. The climb was hard and by the time she got to the bottom twenty minutes later she stood on the ground and panted then looked up at her home nearly sixty feet above her blond locks head.
"Geez," she muttered, "I think I did okay for once with this." She rummaged through her dress and found that the Zeni Calla Lily had given her was still there and wondered, "Now that I have this I wonder what I can do with it?"
She scuttled through the town with her sack of Zeni in hand and took no notice of the fact that yet again she was headed down towards the edge of the village and the path that Nai-Ran had taken four days before. Her mind was highly focused on spending Zeni she had not had much of before, but to her knowledge the only great thing she'd ever bought was a scouter, a tool used to scan energy levels, but not really all that helpful to her sine it had trouble scanning even Nai-Ran's basic power level.
She wasn't aware of it, but by the time anyone could yell, "Hey! You're exiting the village again!" she was a good one hundred fifty yards away from the village in dense, canopy like jungle. A few worms crawled around at her feet and when she felt them she looked down and wiggled her bear toes.
She bent over them and said, "Why hello, I don't think you're in the village normally..." Picking one up that was three inches long she held it in her fingers and looked around. No matter where she looked bush was starting to rise up around.
She set the worm on her shoulder then hit herself on the head with her left fist. "I'm so stupid... I was so focused on spending my Zeni I got lost in the wilderness again."
She let this fact slide though as she felt slight pain in her shoulder. The worm, feeling it was on skin that felt smooth like the dirt it lived in buried into her shoulder and left a big black hole in her skin. Houri poked her right index finger into the hole and felt green blood pool beneath it. She shrugged her shoulders and sighed, "This feels like the eight thousandth worm to do this in my life time."
Normally, because Florians were covered with a good many flowers (like the red and white lilies Houri could grow on her head) insects were quite attracted to the skin of these aliens and often lived in the bodies of them. This was definitely not the first worm to do this, and not the only kind of insect to do this, however, such interactions always hurt. The bleeding stopped as a small bit of Houri's un-mastered regeneration took over and attempted to heal her up. The issue was it was going to slow for her liking so Holly grew a piece of cork board from the center of her palm, cut it into a circle ad placed it over top the tiny hole.
"That should do," she stated as the band aid fell into place. It seemed now was a good time as ever to go on adventures again so she took to a leisurely stroll far deeper into the Bamboo Forest in hopes of finding something or someone to interact with.

Deep within the heart of the bamboo forest, the animals could be heard skittering around in excitement. Someone was in their territory they didn't like and they protested it loudly. Among the bamboo stood Hitake, quickly darting between bamboo shoot to bamboo shoot, using his hands to chop each piece down one at a time in a blazing energy type chop. He did this as many times as needed to clear a large area, gathering each one up that was knocked down and carrying it in the middle of the newly cleared out area.
With a plan in mind, Hitake began to bind the bamboo together with string and vines into what looked like many large poles. He would take each one he made and with a bit of power force them into the ground until they made a perfect circle around him, each pole 3 feet apart, and at least 8 feet away from him on all sides. He continued to make more bamboo poles and put them up in random places, symbolizing random enemies he would have to chop down. His idea was to visualize these as enemies and take them down as quickly as possible.
Finally he was down to the last batch of bamboo. He made this pole bigger around and stuck it in the middle with a massive shove. This was was different than the others, this was to be used as his warm up. Standing in front of it to admire his work, Hitake took little time to get started. He began to stretch, touching his toes, doing windmills, and a few other exercises. Once he was limber he went to attack the bamboo pole in front of him. He shoved his right fist in a straight sharp job into the bamboo which barely gave way. The sound of flesh and bone connecting with wood echoed through the forest. He repeated the process with his other hand then continued to do so for a solid five minutes, until his hands were nearly bloody. He then threw in a right heel kick, then a left. Dropping down he would spin left slamming his elbow into the bamboo.
Hitake would jump back from the crouched position then dash forward, slamming a hard left knee right into the middle of the bamboo with enough force to crack a skull but the bamboo did not give. Hitake pushed off and did a back flip, landing on his feet. He rushed and delivered another sharp knee, this time with his right into the bamboo. Moving back Hitake would once again throw a flurry of punches mixed in with kicks until he was satisfied by her performance. It was time to move on the the others. This time he would make sure to break every thing in front of him in half. (sorry for the delays. real life ^.^")

"Thwack! Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!" Holly heard every sound that came from Hitake's fists and the bamboo shaft he'd created for himself to train. His great strength was so terrible that over the din of roaring animals Holly found herself covering her own ears.
"What the heck is this?" she wondered as she thought back to the loud bulldozers humans owned. Perhaps, it was another one of them using some tool to investigate. Over the noise she quickly placed her Zeni in the back of her fanny pack and scuttled through the forest on all eight of her legs and took to climbing the nearest tree Hitake had not knocked down ahead of her. In it's shadow she jumped from branch to branch until she got close enough to see a man directly below her, hitting and shaking the bamboo sprout she was on with violent kicks. His hair was scraggly and completely black, but because of the angle her blue eyes perceived the man below her it was hard to tell what he truly looked like. She definitely smelled sweat on him as it wafted up into her nostrils and forced her to cover her nose with her hands. In the meantime her white dress draped down over her and helped in also blocking her view of the man a little, even though it was close fitting, simply because the skirt was a bit wider then intended.
One thing she did spot was a carved bamboo pool he also liked to hit the tree sprout she was on. It was doubtful she had been seen yet, so as she sat there swaying under each strike she wondered how she might get his attention. "I'm just glad I have eight legs," she noted wrapping them very tightly around her swaying perch. A drop from where she sat was sixty feet and could severely injure her if she did not land correctly. That is why currently she allowed every muscle in her calves to bulge and strengthen her grip around the tree's trunk so she would not slip. It worked quite nicely and she felt she was going to be a long while up there while she continued to examine the speck-of-a-man below her. Attached to this dress was a new fanny pack simply because Nai-Ran had gotten rid of her old one filled with metal weapons and bad tools she did not need anymore. That's what happened though when you went to a tournament and nearly died. Most of your stuff would end up inexplicably smashed or lost in any number of ways as Holly's felt hers was after encountering the demon Oguma Inugami briefly. Yet now, thanks to her three days of rest, she had managed to get a nice new tan fanny pack back.
"I wonder if he's a fighter maybe he's really hot too, and not like some of those other awful warriors I met." Holly thought with a smile on her face. She needed to forget about that awful tournament where people being ended up killed left and right. This man was the perfect chance and truth be told Holly Sprig was a romantic. Her kind nature helped her lean towards this, however, her easiness in getting uppity or self-important tended to push people, especially men away because she liked to focus on accomplishing things for herself. This is why, for example, Nai-Ran had been punched by her nearly four days ago. She wanted to truly test the limits of her power because then Nai-Ran had been someone who might make a good rival for her in her opinion based on what her scouter read.
She snapped her fingers together on her right and thought, "Oh yeah! I can read his power level!" Using this hand, she reached back behind her, and down her waist to open and place her hand inside her tiny carrying bag. Her hand managed to snag the edge of her scouter and drag it out. With the green lens in hand she snapped it to the right side of her head and pressed the button on her side. Most of the butterflies and insects flying around her head at the time she did this read barely one power. Yet when she looked directly below herself again curiosity entered her mind as the scouter's reading level increased.
"Beep!" "Beep!" "Do!" "Beep!" it said voicing off a bunch of scanning tones she could not understand. All she cared was if the little headset that went over her eye could get her a proper reading.
"Whoa! This guy's got about as much power as I do!" Holly shouted. Her shouting was so loud that by this point her scouter reading his power level was not necessary anymore it was likely she was going to incur his wrath soon. So she dropped down from above, performing a long descending front flip and landed on feet directly behind him with a soft thud. Now was the time to challenge this guy and see if he might leave the forest. Yet first she felt she could entice him to leave with her Zeni.
"Hi, my name's Holly Sprig. I've been watching you, so if you wouldn't mind. I'd like to make an offer 'Mister Tree Whacker' and allow you to leave the forest unharmed. You take my Zeni and I will let you not get hurt. Otherwise, for the sake of the wildlife here, you're going to pay." Holly told him as she stood behind him. She cared not if he tried to attack her she was going to stop him from making noise no matter what it took since it was borderline annoying now.
"The Zeni is going to be in the back of my fanny pack sir, so if you're shocked just reach for it and ignore the legs. Then be on your way."

Hitake kept striking the bamboo pole under he heard a voice above him. Hitake being a cautious man especially due to what had happened to him recently, had jumped back and raised his arms in a defensive stance, expecting to be assaulted from above. He watched as his potential foe came falling down and flipped land perfectly on her feet, all eight of them. Hitake turned to face her, still hold his hands up and narrowed his eyes. What the heck does she want? I hope she's not trying to engulf me in her web and eat me, that would be bad. Hitake thought this to himself with a barely visible smirk. He wasn't afraid of her or intimidated about the way she looked. Maybe a bit creeped out by them but he had seen worse.
The female spider human creature announced her intentions to him. Hitake was actually a little surprised when she spoke in a language he could understand. He looked at her as she pronounced herself basically a champion of nature, and with a look of disappointment he lowered his head and sighed.
"Oh great, a hippy." Hitake mumbled just loud enough she might, MIGHT be able to hear.
"I have no interest in your money, nor do I care who you are miss Holly."
Hitake turned sideways to her, crossing his arms. He was annoyed that he was being interrupted after all the work he had put into this training grounds for the evening, especially over a little demolition. His saiyan blood was heating up, even though he remained cool on the outside.
"If you would like to join me in training you're more than welcome to it, but you're a little late to stop me from destroying some of the forest. Take a look around, I've chopped down and placed several bundles of poles around here already."
Hitake pointed them out, well over 15 of them around them, sunk into the ground and standing upright to be used as targets. Some were placed in a perfect circle, others were random. It was an elaborate set up meant to maximize his training.
"So I guess this means you're going to make me pay? I'm broke, so you're out of luck there."
Hitake wondered if she would actually attack him. He thought it might be fun to fight with something other than immobile bamboo poles. At this point he had actually hoped she would challenge him, because the prospect of a possible challenge was getting him excited. It would be her own fault if she got hurt though. Hitake had a tendency to go over board if he got too excited.

"What was that?" Holly uttered after she finished talking and heard him mumble something. She turned her head and body complete to see him say, "I have no interest in your money, nor do I care who you are miss Holly," just before he turned sideways to avoid her gaze.
Holly noted the bundles of poles he was knocking over as he pointed out fresh cut ones to her and she grit her teeth in response. There were a good fifteen circles all around them and some were randomly aligned to form some kind of pathway or pattern she could not clearly see. Stomping up to his face, she raised her upper body up onto the back of her six legs just enough so that she could raise her height a good foot taller then she actually was. "I'm bigger then you little human. I suggest you take my money and scram!"
Holly had yet to take notice of his monkey tail and the fact that he was a Saiyan due to the fact she was so enraged. She cracked her knuckles (feeling her normally kind demeanor disappear with her words) and became the uppity rascal she was sometimes known to be. Pounding her fists together she said, "Yes, I'm definitely going to make you pay one way or another. Don't be surprised if I let you go here without paying any Zeni and the next day you wake up with spider eggs in your chest!"
Hitake probably did not know she was an alien called a Florian, so she could only assume he thought her to be a giant, demonic spider. With that in mind, she decided to play a mind game with him and really freak him out with the prospect of laying eggs inside his body (even as a red blush crept up upon her cheeks). "I have hundreds of children in this forest you know and every time they hear someone make a racket they let me know! Know that you'll not be getting out of this forest alive without a great deal of pain because-because you're going to die to put them at ease by be-becoming mine!!!"
She let out a hardy laugh even though she secretly thought, "Okay, I hope I've scared this guy enough because I'm started to sound like an idiot. I bet he doesn't even know what I'm saying... I'm not even sure what I'm saying anymore. But those muscles do look nice on him." Her eyes narrowed and she only hoped he'd except her crazy challenge to escape that way she might be able to lead him back the other way she'd come from, surround him once she reached her village, and in a crazy maneuver take this guy prisoner. It was worth a try for a love sick alien, but it was kind of odd of her to now suddenly think this way about a guy she'd just met.
Her mind went back to the questions Nai-Ran asked about two legged people and she realized mentally, "I have eight he's got two. I doubt this idea is even going to work. He's probably just going to rip me to shreds."
At any time during her long thoughts or banter back at Hitake there was plenty of time to escape or move on from the crazy girl for the probably already bored or flustered Saiyan. All it took was a bit of action on his part. He would find escaping Holly was actually quite easy since the girl could hold a conversation much better then she could fight, however, her interactions with Nai-Ran previously (just to test her power level and scouter out) proved that Holly was not really good at either since she had not really done much to scan her opponent continuously with her scouter, even though it stayed attached to her right eye ready to be used at a moment's notice. Any moment now was a chance for Hitake to strike the insect girl's face with his fist or foot.

Hitake cocked his head towards her as she raised up on her feet to make herself look big. He smirked at her, arms still crossed. He seemed unfazed, if anything amused by her display of power. The way she appeared, she was obviously some sort of spider hybrid. He had seen people like her, maybe not exactly like her but similar before in his travels. If she thought her display of power did anything but make him laugh then she was sorely mistaken. As of right now she was all show and no real action. Her first threat of implanting her eggs into him however was met with an extra amused look. He stared at her with a look of "Ooooh really?" on his face.
"Do you use that pick up line often? I bet the guys just come swooning to you when you do"
Hitake was teasing her pretty hard at that point. He called her bluff and attempted to goad her into going through with her threats.
"Bring on all your children, I'll burn this place to the ground"
Hitake stated to her with a now serious voice. He wasn't one to back down from a challenge even if it could potentially lead to a disastrous outcome. And then, something clicked in his brain with what she said.
"Wait... You do use that line often don't you! You hussy! How many guys have you had relations with to have hundreds of children?!"
Hitake stared at her in disbelief. He knew how normal spiders would reproduce many in one go but hybrids he had no idea about. It was a fair question in his mind, which at this point came from sheer curiosity towards her. He pondered this until the entirety of her statement caught hit him upset the head like a brick... "Know that you'll not be getting out of this forest alive without a great deal of pain because-because you're going to die to put them at ease by be-becoming mine!!!"
"If you want to fight I'll fight! If you want to train I'll train! BUT I WILL NOT BECOME YOUR MATE!"
Hitake started backing up. He was creeped out, not because of her but because it seemed like she was serious and that she might just want to actually lay her eggs inside him and that wasn't cool with him! Training in a bamboo forest was not worth having tiny hybrid spider babies bursting from his stomach!
"If you come near me with that intent I promise I will not hold back!
Hitake raised his arms in a defensive stance, his eyes narrowed. He expected her to leap at him and attack him at that point. If he were her, he would have already been on the attack.

Houri frowned as Hitake complained of her pick up lines and took a defensive stance. The guy was pretty hot headed and looked possible to persuade to leave the place, but clearly she had not had the intended effect with her words to make this happen. He actually believed her a dangerous threat when in fact this very wonderful, strong looking man had been fed a spoon full of lies. Holly was not going to kill him, and she wasn't even sure how her own people mated, especially since she was only half a Florian alien anyway. He considered her a real life demonic spider thanks to her actions though.
Resulting in her now sighing as she stared at him with blue eyes and thought, "You know what. You should just force this guy to mate with you. You've been waiting so long just to become an adult and after that meeting with Nai-Ran four days ago you now are a young woman. Take your time dear and make him yours."
Holly had no idea why she was talking to herself in her head in third person about this, but what she did know was that Hitake was clearly not going to leave. She unfolded her arms, clenched her fists and yelled at him, "Get ready for a fight! I'm going to take you down!" Then with a bad gesture in mind flipped her hands around and pointed her thumbs down at the ground to show she was going to give him no mercy.
After doing this, she scuttled towards him with her long spider legs and used her wood manipulation powers, naturally gifted to her for being born a Florian, to grow two wooden chakrams in her hands. Without a second thought, she approached the man and once she was within three feet of him lowered her body down to his height and swung out with both chakrams glowing with her green power. Her aim was the fine face he had as she tried to chop off his nose with twin strikes of her Chakram Slash. The likelihood of him dodging or blocking this was pretty high, but that set back was not going to stop Holly from defeating Hitake and achieving her original goal; getting him to leave.

Hitake would jump back to dodge the attack. With an angry look hitake would decide it was best he left and not reveal any of his secrets. (Okay, I just had a family issue with an aunt and I'm not going to be able to continue. Sorry Oni!) Btw to anyone grading this, I was weighted) /exit

A primordial roar escaped Houri's lips as the monkey known as Hitake jumped backwards and dodged both her slashes. "You come back here!" she cried, however, the Saiyan seemed far too quick for her to chase after. She ran along the jungle floor hoping to defeat him, but thanks to her inability to sense ki she could not find him in the dense jungle. Even when she turned on her scouter a moment later and looked around. It seemed now was not the time to worry about the man she'd run into. Her head dropped and she gripped her cheeks as she gained full control of her composure again.
"What's going on with me?" she wondered as she looked down at her six legs and bee abdomen. She could feel her actions towards the Saiyan had not been normal. Tears streamed down her face and she decided, "I need to leave the village. If what's going on with me has to do with the new appendages I've gained I need to find a place to learn to control my new Florian body parts. Otherwise, I could attack good friends like Nai-Ran." She looked towards the dense jungle ahead of her knowing that the village was behind her and ran deeper into it as she headed north. She did not care if Calla Lily or others in her village got mad at her again for leaving without letting them know, but she was too different from them to feel a part of their village life. Fighting, traveling, and seeking new adventures is all she wanted as long as she did not run into dangerous cretins like the Arcosians she felt she could be fine on her own, but her heart thumped heavily in her chest and she doubted slightly if this was the case. Still pressing onwards was all she could do to suppress this pain. The simple fact was she did not feel right in a human nor Florian environment and this incident she realized was one reason why.

It's sad to see this thread having ended so soon, but family emergencies are far more important! Also, my apologies on the delay on this being graded!
Holly, your grade here is: 2734 in zeni!
Hitake, your grade here is, with the weights to help out: 2445 power level!
