The Western Frontier was usually a quiet area of the planet. The silence was, however, broken when Rafar flew over the deserts of the frontier. He had been watching what was shaping up to be an interesting battle. Two fighters, a half-sayian and an arcosian were fighting for some reason. Then the Arcosian had transformed and blew him several miles away by just flaring his aura. That was when he had decided it was really time to leave before he was caught in the crossfire.
Rafar landed at his campsite and decided he would start training harder then ever. He decided however, to fly around a bit beforehand.

[Thread PL: 52,821 | Limiter Earrings (Medium Weights) Active! Current PL: 26,411!] [Two Cycloids have accompanied Breech! Cycloid's PL: 5,000 Each!] "Hmm... Delta, try digging fifty-six inches to the left."The chilling voice of an elderly looking man rang out through the arid desert, as he issued orders to his two subordinates. His minions, which were two incredibly large, incredibly intimidating machines, were currently tearing through the desert sands with their clawed hands at intense speeds, searching for something of grand importance. Long ago there had been a research facility here in the desert, but years of neglect had caused the entire facility to get lost under the sands. Inside that facility was a very important set of documents. If Breech were to get his hands on it, then his secondary project might move along faster than expected. Doctor Breech had been searching for this facility for a few hours now. He had hoped for some luck in finding what he sought, but as of now he and his creations were unsuccessful. He wouldn't let a few hours in the sands cause him distress, however. He ordered his machines to pick up the pace, and so they did. Pile after pile of sand shot into the sky, as the two Cycloids dug through with increased fervor. "Quite peculiar... My data suggests the facility should have been buried right around here... What a strange predicament."As he watched his machines do their work, a strange reading came up on his internal scanner. Apparently there was a fighter nearby, though whomever it was wasn't very impressive. Breech ignored the Power Signature for the time being. If they wanted to stop by, they were more than welcome to test their mettle against his Cycloids.

(Um ok, I kind of meant this to be a meet and greet/sparring thread but fine)
Rafar returned, after seeing what looked to be a overweight old man with two large robots in a desert near his home. He seemed to be looking for something in sands. Whatever it was, he didn't seem to have much luck finding it. Considering that the man was in such good condition for his age, he was probably an Android and the Androids here were rumored to be extremely strong. The guards also looked pretty strong so Rafar decided he would wait and see for the moment. Maybe a better opportunity would show itself later, but for now he would wait to engage and see what they meant to do.
"What are you doing?", Rafar asked, crossing his arms.
He was prepared to run and dodge if needed but he hoped he would at least be able to talk or have a spar. He was getting kind of bored

SR-81 stood beside the cycloids. The droid's mono eye slowly swiveling about to keep its eye out for trouble. The large eight foot tall robot was an imposing figure to say the least. Not to mention its height was tripled thanks to those cannons attached to its back. It turned its head to Breech and spoke up."Doctor Breech." It spoke, its deep voice emanating from it's head. "Why not just destroy the layer above the base with a powerful detonation?"
It's head snapped towards Rafar as he spoke. The droid took a few steps past Breech, getting in between the Doctor and the Saiyan. "Our Business is of our own accord." It spoke. "You would be wise to keep moving and forget what you saw." It turned its head so its monoeye could focus on Breech. "Orders Doctor?"

The beeping of Breeches internal scanner increased in volume as the power reading made its way towards Breech and his Cycloids. It seemed whomever it was had noticed them; it would have been more surprising if they hadn't noticed the massive amounts of sand flying into the sky. He turned his attention to the sky, where the source of energy was coming from. It would be upon them soon, whoever it was.
He glanced back as the voice of his prototype machine spoke. The upgraded Cycloid machine, designated as SR-81, suggested they simply blow up the layer of sand instead of digging through it. Though it was an interesting idea, there was possible problems. He turned to SR-81, beginning to explain. "An admirable idea, but it has a flaw: We don't know the exact location of the entrance. If we shoot too low, we'll destroy the facility and everything inside it. If we aim too high we'd simply be wasting energy. If things go on much longer, we might have to resort to that plan."
As expected, the warrior they were waiting for had arrived. The Saiyan warrior posed a simple question, which was quickly diverted by Breeches compatriot. SR-81 asked for orders, but Breech calmed him. "Hold for now, 81. Let's have a chat first..."
Breech turned back to Rafar, bowing respectfully towards the Saiyan. "Greetings, Saiyan. My name is Doctor Breech Aris. My team and I are here searching for an old research facility buried deep under the sands. Perhaps you'd like to tell me what in the world you're doing here? This desert is vast, after all. A chance meeting like this is most certainly not coincidental."

Rafar smirked when the robot spoke, he was confident he could handle such a challenge. He seemed surprised however, when the old looking Android responded politely to his question.
"Wow, ummm, you are the first person on this planet that hasn't immediately started trying to kill me when I started talking them. In response to your question, my name is Rafar and I have made camp over there," he said, gesturing to the east. "And I saw a huge column of dirt flying into the sky, along with a lot of loud noises, so I was curious to see who my guests were" He gestured towards the Cycloids, "Interesting bots you have there, the SSE has nothing close to that level of complexity."
He stared at the large robots. They were heavily built, with lots of armor plating and what looked to be cannons on their arms. The black one looked to be different from it's brothers, with three large cannons on it's back and seemed to be built with more agility than the other bots. And of course, it could talk intelligently.
"Who is your friend there," he asked, flicking his fingers at the black Cycloid

SR-81 turned to face Breech as he explained it's ideas flaws and nodded. "Understood." It spoke. "Perhaps still a rough estimate and a controlled blast could keep us from destroying the facility." It crossed its arms for a moment. "Maybe we should have modified some of the Cycloids with digging attachments. It would of made this task much faster."
Upon receiving its orders to stand down the droid took a step back, allowing Breech to speak to the saiyan without interruption. When the saiyan asked about SR-81 the droid's mono eye fixated on him before a clicking was heard. There was the sound of electrical humming as SR-81's energy blade ignited. "You are asking too many questions. Cease questions." It looked to Breech for a moment. "Awaiting orders Doctor."

A light chuckle came from the elderly Android. "Getting accosted by the locals, eh? Perhaps your swaying tail brings back bad memories. After all, the Solar Empire invaded not a few months ago. Tensions are still high for some of the people here." He gave the Saiyan a curious glare. One could only wonder how long this boy had even been here. By Breeches estimation it was probably a week, maybe less.
Breech was honestly a bit surprised to hear praise given to his Cycloids. It seemed even naive Saiyans could appreciate advanced machinery. "Perhaps that's true. The Solar Empire prefers to employ brute strength rather than straining their minds on creating technology to assist them. These Cycloids are mighty yes, but still they pale in comparison to someone like the Queen of Vegeta. I've only heard tall tales, but her power is quite the legend these days."
He glanced back at SR again, noticing that he'd gotten ready for combat once again. This was the first time since his creation that SR-81 had been able to work alongside Breech on the field, so his eagerness was to be expected. He turned back to Rafar, deciding to answer the boys question before issuing any commands.
"This is my newest creation. He is a Cycloid, Mark Two. Designation; SR-81. He is incredibly powerful, but by my estimates you would be able to give him a fair challenge, if you tried hard enough."
The Doctor quickly raised his right hand, clenching it into a fist to signify to his subordinate that it was time to begin. "SR! It's time to test your combat capabilities against a true opponent! Rafar of Vegeta will be your sparring partner for today. Try not to maim him, would you? I'd like to collect some samples from his corpse once you're done."

Rafar blinked when he heard about the Sayian invasion of Earth. He laughed, " That would explain why I'm not welcome, thanks for clearing that up. I've only been on this planet for about a week."
Rafar spat on the ground when he heard Breech praising the Queen of the Sayians. " She is just a bloodthirsty brute, focused on brute strength and power. She ignored potential technological advancements which could assist her and instead tries to accomplish goals by brute force. What she doesn't understand is what she could accomplish by subterfuge."
When Rafar heard Breech order his minion to attack him. He shrugged, " Well this was going to happen sooner or later. I will try to give you a challenge."
Rafar would begin by rushing forward and kicking SR hard in the midsection. Regardless of the effect of the kick, he would launch a ki wave point blank into SR's occular unit.

SR-81 looked back to Dr. Breech as he was given his orders. This Saiyan was to be his opponent in another test it seemed. SR-81's mono eye locked onto the Saiyan and with a flash of its eye and a "DONG" it switched on its combat mode. "Mission Parameters Set and Understood." A panel on it's left arm opened, a Minigun folding out of it swiftly, while the droid pulled a small rod off its back, which quickly turned into its hand held Energy Shield. "Combat Start."
Just like that the Saiyan rushed the droid, giving it a swift kick in the chest. The droid would skid back a few inches from the force of the kick, only to bring its shield up as the Ki wave came. The ki wave would hit the shield, causing it to spark, but ultimately it did no real damage. The droids propulsor engines activated and it lifted off the ground just a tad, effectively hovering before it began to fly around the Saiyan in a circle at high speeds. Its minigun spun up before it lifted its arm and began firing the Ki infused shots at Rafar in a high volume and at quite high speeds. The droids mono eye was locked on to the saiyan. He wasn't going to get away.

Rafar grunted when he saw the bot take out an energy shield and block his attack. So much for ending this early. SR then took off and started flying around and shooting him with a mini gun. "Seriously, your shooting me with a gun? I'm weaker but not that weak. When the bullets hit however, he realized they were ki-infused. Welts started appearing on Rafar's skin and it hurt, but wasn't enough to incapacitate him. Rafar launched several ki blasts and then he lifted his arms and flared his aura, sending waves of force and sand in every direction, hopefully blinding SR temporarily. This would probably buy him a few second while SR adjusted his sensors.
"Ok Plan B." Rafar then drew his arms back and a small red ki sphere appeared between them. "Block this then you heap of trash."
Rafar is charging [N1] Impact cannon. 33% this turn for 665 damage next turn 66% for 1330 damage.

The sand worked for a moment, the sudden blindness from the sand causing the droid to back pedal and stop its firing. However its eye focused on Rafar, its pink lense flaring. It didn't have a built in scouter at all, but it could see Rafar charging an attack.
The droid put its shield on its back and its mini gun folded away, before pins on the sides of its arms began to pop up, causing steam to hiss out of it's system. "Parameter set..." The spikes on its shoulder pads began to spark brightly, as electrical energy coiled around them before arcs of electricity jumped to the horn on the middl of it's head. A ball of electrical energy formed at the tip and stayed there. SR-81 was charging an attack as well!

Rafar saw that SR was also charging an attack. He knew that SR could beat him in a beam clash, so he might as well start it before his blast got to powerful and damaging. He then released his Impact Cannon, but did not scream it's name like he had seen others do, maybe he could surprise SR and hit him with the blast while he was concentrating on charging his own. Rafar would stand behind his blast, trying and failing to channel more energy into it.

SR-81 rose its head as Rafar fired his attack, only to thrust its head forward to fire its own attack. The Riot Tazer's gathered energy shot forth from its horn, the arcing attack like that of a lightning bolt that slammed into his opponents Impact Cannon. The two would clash creating a crater around the center of the clash. Sparks ripped up from SR-81 before more steam escaped his body and pushed outwards. The Riot Tazer began to push the impact cannon back before completely over taking it, sending both attack hurdling towards Rafar.
Once that clash was over SR-81 stood up, its horn and shoulder spikes smoking as its minigun folded out once more. It pulled its shield off its back and held it up again, seeming to stay on the defensive. It was collecting all sorts of data about its combat abilities after all.
