So, this was an idea I came up with recently, born from a fusion of two sprouting character ideas I had. Personally, its something I'd like to try and pursue for a character, and might not be so much a 'race' as a flavouring. More of a question than a suggestion, I guess, but this felt like the right place to post about it without just clogging up the CBox.
The idea was that the character is a form of Android (almost entirely mechanical) designed using the Arcosian model as a sort of baseline; an android capable of adjusting its physical form much as if it was an Arcosian, using such things as shape memory alloys and other scientific shenanigans. By this, I mean it would have access to the four standard forms (Suppressed, Brute, Beast, True) that Arcosian characters are allowed to access earlier in their development (at their appropriate PL), but not be allowed the same sort of progression. Instead, it would be limited to the Android transformation path in some sense, though not in its entirety.
I can see it as this: Once they reach their sufficient Power Level, the character would be able to undergo their advancement (a permanent boost) as if they were an Android. However, this would also upgrade their standard Arcosian forms to match, keeping them in line with other races at an average. Based on what I know, this initial upgrade would occur as an equivalent to the Σ form (at 150,000), and provide a base multiplier of x14. This would become the Base Form (Suppressed) modifier.
With this, the additional forms would receive appropriate boosts. The Brute Form would become a multiplier of x19, Monster Form a multiplier of x22, and then True Form a multiplier of x24 (simply adding the multipliers together).
Upon reaching some sufficient final benchmark (probably looking at around 450,000 PL), they would unlock their final state. For this, I'm thinking of removing the standard Overdrive ability of Androids - the boost would not be fully compatible with the natural transformation abilities of the Arcosian design early on - and using it as an equivalent to the Arcosian Ultimate Form. That's normally a x47 modifier and only temporary, but this would probably be a little weaker, as Androids cannot really match the full capabilities of organic life without serious wear and tear. I'm seeing the modifier as a plus of x20 (added onto the transformations as normal for an absolute max of x44) but having a limitation in which (like Overdrive) it drops after use (probably by x10) and requires realignment.
Thoughts and suggestions? Is this a feasible approach?

*Digging this up because it's something that was talked of before and was something that he was interested in doing for Arcosians before*
I think we had this talk before, and we didn't get around fully to discussing it. However, I didn't mind the approach at all! What you're speaking of right now is something I didn't actually think about before and may be worth the time.
Can you provide us a side by side analysis of the 3 states in a kind of table? Show the current Arcosians, this unique approach in the center, and lastly have the Androids on the side. With that, we can see a better idea of what you're talking about for the race.

Arcosians originally HAD to become androids, using our current cyborgification processes, to compete past their royal form. I'd rather not differentiate the arcosian cyborgification due to the fact we used the cyborgification of arcosians as a template for all species.
