Giving a yawn Katsu stretched his limbs wide, taking in a deep breath and releasing it before he returned his attention back to the situation that he was in. The thick foliage of the Fukurou Forest in this area was nearly impassable by most standards. It was only through judicious use of a machete that Katsu had brought with him that he had cleared a path through the foliage, but with good fortune for his effort rather than say, flying above. The exo-species that had been transplanted to this region long ago had thrived and adapted, created exciting new plants that Katsu felt might be of benefit in one of his side-projects. Yet although Katsu had already received what he considered to be hefty rewards just for making the trek out this far into the uncharted sections of the Fukurou Forest he was here for a specific reason.
In a desert, far away from here, Katsu had managed to stumble upon an ancient settlement that was supposedly impossible, composed of two civilizations from entirely different continents both from each other and to the settlement itself that apparently had never met one another. Yet the Nisium Arcaneum and the Krethylf Communion had somehow come together to create that lone settlement far away from their homelands. It was the Krethylf Communion that had been on the Western Continent, located firmly in the center of the Fortuneteller's Desert according to history, yet there had been glyphs explaining that perhaps a remnant of their culture might be found not in the desert but the thickest forest, some outcast that been forcibly separated from the rest of the Communion to prevent some disaster...
That alone was enough to send Katsu traversing the globe in search of adventure, and Katsu continued to hack and slash his way through the dense foliage, somewhere in the distance the vague shape of a pyramid beginning to filter through the forest leaves...

About a month of time on Earth and the young hybrid known as Caesar had gained an incredible amount of knowledge and strength compared to his time off the planet. His power was growing at a steadily rate ever since his training with his former master and now sworn grandfather, Ayumu as well as his young ward Hana. Thanks to the two, the former slave of the saiyan race could let go with some of the hate in his heart towards the tailed race and had learned a coping mechanism to deal with the rest. The blond hybrid still didn't know how he'd react to seeing another saiyan on Earth, being the one he'd met so far he tried his hardest to kill and failed every attempt. The white haired saiyan was much stronger than himself, but after feeling the progress of his training and his increased strength since then, he was sure the situation would be different now. A part of him, however, was actually really glad he didn't have this strength at that time. His heart had been softened a little by the old man's efforts so it would be really up to the moment as to how he'd react to seeing another saiyan. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case today.
Enjoying his newly founded ability to fly, the hybrid kagami swordsman would be twirling in the air towards another part of the Earth he'd never been before. Having the ability to just soar through the skies made it ten times easier for him to not starve or go dehydrated like he had been before just roaming the Earth on foot. It had been something his body was tougher for, and the experience was probably for the best, but nothing could really replace the feeling of the wind through his hair and the sun comfortably on his back.
Of course, while in this new quadrant of the Earth, Caesar was also scoping out for any interesting power levels, perhaps anything higher than the average human. People over a thousand generally tended to have more of a personality and were much better to talk to as well being that they had some life experience most of the time to get to that point. He didn't need to fly very long in fact, before he felt a power level hidden deep in a large forest below his current vantage point in the sky. With his weighted clothing on that his former master had given him, it wasn't much lower than his own in comparison. Deciding it was safe enough, and that he could always run if things got too dicey, the kagami hybrid boy decided to land in an area near where he felt the power emitted from.
The first thing the boy noticed was the sounds of plants being hacked away which immediately brought a few questions to mind, mostly all related to relative power level and the need to hack foliage out of the way when blasted or merely walking roughly through was an option. He would save the questions for when he actually caught up to this mysterious person, as he was actually a bit further back himself. With adept movement and precise chopping motions to the plants, he was able to navigate to the location of what turned out to be a man, and human at that. The guy had on a white lab coat by the looks of it and was seemingly searching for something. Trying not to reveal his presence thus far, the boy would start to talk to the man to finally let him on that the kagami hybrid was there.
"Hey there, what are you looking for? I might be able to help you. Also, you know how strong you are, right? You could just blast these trees if you wanted. That seems a lot more efficient to be honest. I won't question the methods of someone I don't know at all, but still, something to think on."
Putting his right palm forward towards a section of the forest, Caesar would charge up for a blast. He could be stopped if Katsu spoke up or said something about not destroying, but if unnoticed or just a lack of caring, the boy would blast the forest to the side of the two, destroying just about everything in that direction.

Katsu was also capable of sensing Ki and although Caesar had placed himself down to 5,000 units or so that was still much higher than anything on the planet and it wouldn't take but a moment for Katsu to notice him nearby. Yet Caesar had not attacked him so Katsu merely kept going about his business, cutting through the foliage as he made his way farther into the thick forest. His cuts were precise and measured, taking as little as possible from the plants he struck down, the path he left behind him devoid of the debris you'd expect, for the severed stalks and plants were floating behind Katsu in the air, held aloft by Telekinesis. Katsu would almost pointedly ignore Caesar as he got closer and closer, keeping a tab on his location in case he was trying to stalk him, for example, speaking only when spoken to by the man.
”Yo. I could blast them out of the way, yes....but why? Plants might not be able to feel terror or pain, hence why I'm cutting them down here, but animals live amongst them. Would you enjoy some super powerful entity far beyond your power to merely vaporize everything you care for in a careless moment so they can do what they want a little faster?” Katsu knelt down as he spoke to the Hybrid, taking note of the man's features and decoding his species from his professed appearance, finally deciding that he was both Kagami and Konatsian, a rare cross given the Konatsians relatively recent appearance in the galaxy.
When Katsu stood he had in his arms a sleeping creature, looking like something between a large rabbit or perhaps a very small bear, its calico fur thick and fluffy. Katsu petted the sleeping creature carefully, its rabbit-like nose twitching slightly. Looking at Caesar Katsu spoke again, “Besides, by making my way in this manner I can find things that might have been overlooked, such as this creature. We don't even have a name for this, it's a brand new species as far as humanity is concerned. Isn't that so interesting?”
Gently settling the rabbit-bear looking creature back in the little den he had gotten it from Katsu dusted his hands off before continuing to hack away at the foliage with his machete, still heading for that pyramid in the distance. He spoke up to the Hybrid as he continued to move, ”My honest advice to you would be this... Never do anything without a clear purpose, and try to think of the various consequences of your actions and ensure you can deal with them before you act.”

Caesar would be following the lab coat wearing man a few feet into the forest still. The cuts he made into the plants would leave debris that would then somehow float behind the man. The process was strange to the kagami hybrid; he'd never experienced something like this before. He also gave a pretty good answer to Caesar as to why he shouldn't blow a hole in the forest, a reason that was more than enough to have the boy drop his hand and stop charging the Ki blast. He said that while the plants may not be able to feel pain, the animals could certainly be obliterated and/or lost their natural habitat. The speech hit a little close to home when he spoke of a species stronger than him destroying things that he loved without a care. Although he never loved his mother, he did have a passing fancy of wondering what she was like. The saiyans on the ship he was born in said she cursed him as he was born because she knew that if he were a boy, they'd kill her. So from what he had known so far, she at least wasn't taking much interest in her son at the time.
Another interesting thing was the new species of animal that the man found in the area that Caesar might've blown up. It was a first time discovery and the kagami hybrid was actually there for it. The moment was a bit lost on Caesar as the boy couldn't care less, but nonetheless it was interesting. He even gave the blond swordsman a bit of advice, to essentially think before he acted rashly on something. Admittedly, he hadn't given it much though when he initially wanted to blow up the forest, it was just a simple and efficient way to get through the forest for him. Caesar was still a bit confused of the situation, and although he didn't care about the new animal, that clearly wasn't the focus of this journey or there would be more joy involved. No, this man had a plan or something specific he was doing and Caesar wanted to join in.
"So uh, what are you doing then? I'd love to help if I could, I'm not actually doing much right now. I could help if things get too dicey, per say, and the going gets tough, you catch my drift? If not, could I come anyway? I'm actually really bored and I don't have much else going on besides that. I could tell you my life story, but that would just be sad. I'll leave it at I'm a hybrid orphan hatred filled blond swordsman who doesn't play by the rules. What about yourself? Maybe a name? I'm Caesar, if that helps."
Caesar was a bit interested in the man and who he was and more importantly, what he was doing out here. With a world discovery being found like it was as easy as finding a zeni on the sidewalk, Caesar was sure he'd get some knowledge out of this venture.

Ceasing his precise cuts of the foliage Katsu would turn to look at Caesar, taking in his words while at the same time thinking about what his eyes told him. Caesar might feel for a moment as if Katsu was calculating every tiny detail of his existence, like looking at a bug pinned to a specimen board, a strange light in his eyes... It was only a moment but eventually Katsu gave a smile and a nod as he sheathed the machete he had been swinging around, the strange sensation gone. ”And I, am known as Dr Katsu Yuda. Yo...”
Katsu directed his attention to the plant based debris he had been floating behind him as he moved, eyeing the quantity of the green mess before giving a nod at it, apparently judging what he had there enough for whatever purpose he had in mind. “Feel free to join me as you like, Caesar.” With a great leap Katsu shot straight up into the air, landing on the very top branch of a tree, the debris following him. Katsu stood there on that branch, which was far too small to support his weight naturally, and pointed off to the pyramid in the distance. “I'm heading over to investigate that pyramid. The details would probably bore you, but I basically found out about it from some place far away in the Southern deserts. It was created by an ancient culture known as the Krethylf Communion, an entire civilization of Earth Magic Experts. The data I found basically pointed this place out as being a sort of prison to keep in a weapon of theirs sealed away.
“So I figure go and have a look. At best? Find a weapon to use against the SSE if they try and invade again. At worst? Find some interesting new history and have fun on an adventure!” Katsu gave a quick laugh as he started making leaps from the tops of trees, always landing on the highest branch of a tree, his weight barely bending the smallest of branches before he pushed off again and leaped towards the next one. The debris would continue to fly through the air behind him; Katsu apparently could not fly but could come very close, and at the speed he was moving Caesar would have to put in real effort to keep up, not enough to wind the man quickly, but enough to give him a bit of sweat on his brow if he wanted to move with him.
”And yeah, you don't need to tell me your story, your heritage is enough for me to guess. Father a Konatsian, your Mother a Kagami who cursed your birth because it meant her death. Raised a slave; probably by Saiyans. Life a living hell... since Kagami are so long lived you're probably in your thirties by now, maybe a bit younger. Your hatred is deep rooted and will probably never come out all the way no matter what happens... Yeah...I bet a weapon to use against the SSE appeals to you greatly doesn't it?” Katsu gave Caesar a sidelong glance as he continued to move forward, gauging Caesar's reactions to his analysis as the great stone pyramid loomed larger, at least twenty stories tall...

The man in the lab coat stopping his cutting of the foliage around when Caesar began to speak. It was a nice gesture that the man who seemed too busy for anything would halt activities for at least as long as to hear Caesar and what he had to say. The man eventually put away his blade, content with the plant life he'd taken, and introduced himself as a doctor. Caesar had never met a doctor, but he knew the stereotype that they all wore lab coats. White clothing was the symbol of intelligence, apparently.
Katsu eventually spoke again, allowing the hybrid boy to follow him to whatever he was doing. Jumping into a tree above him with ease, he explained that he was going to the pyramid nearby in search of an ancient civilization's weapon that could be kept there in an effort to either stop another SSE invasion, which greatly interested the blond hybrid, or just to go on an intellectual adventure, which was just neutral to Caesar. Either way, it could be a big gain. This strange doctor could really be onto something, and if there was a weapon that could stop the SSE, he wanted to have his hand in finding it as well.
The doctor laughed and started to jump from branch to branch. He was so quick in the way that he did it that the blond swordsman needed to actually release more of his power just to catch up. It was clear he was used to this sort of travel, as also might've shown Caesar something else interesting. The doctor, although he boasted a power level many times stronger than the average human, probably couldn't fly, which was a very interesting development. While it wasn't something that came naturally, Caesar eventually learned how to fly just by increasing his power level. For someone at Katsu's level, it should be fairly easy. But with how fast the doctor was now speeding through the tree tops, Caesar would need to unleash even more power and start to fly just to keep up.
Trying to maintain the same speed as the doctor, he began to speak about Caesar and correctly identified all of his past including his heritage, his age, and that the saiyan's enslaved him, directly growing his hatred for them. He also scarily added that Caesar probably had a hate for them that couldn't all the way come out, which was shockingly true. It was something that he could even tell his new family, and they were the most important part of him right now. They wanted him to lose some of that hatred since it was self destructive, but he just couldn't see himself doing so. They didn't know what he had gone through...if they did they wouldn't ask him. Either way, the hybrid kagami would have a shocked look on his face, proving the doctor that he was right in his analysis.
"Uh...yeah, you're right. The damn saiyans enslaved me and made me less than a person for most of my life, which is 30 years now. How did you know all of that? I know I look different than humans but I mean...I really only have the red eyes and pointy ears. You're really good..."
Caesar would be almost disappointed that he couldn't complain about his past to this man as he already knew the whole thing. But he didn't know everything.
"I also have gotten a family since I got to Earth after my escape. A wonderful man named Ayumu brought me into his family. I even have a cousin, Core. He is great. They make me so happy...but they want me to lose some of my hate for the saiyans. They say that where I'm at right now in terms of anger is self destructive...I really just can't lose that kind of fury. They have no idea how bad being a slave is. I will destroy every single saiyan...and yes, this weapon does interest me. Any idea what it might be?"
Caesar would speak as the two had essentially arrived at the pyramid. It was a large structure made by a civilization centuries old. It was a wonder that was a bit lost on Caesar.
