Katsu was not the most sensitive guy in the world, at least in terms of Ki. Yet he could still feel and recognize that massive burst far out in space, over in Saiyan territory. He could feel it as Reikiko burst forth with her full power and then faded away soon after, her opponent never sensible by Katsu, only his scouter telling him that some immense artificial Ki had flared to life in time with Reikiko's own power. So there was an opponent in the SSE that was capable of fighting with the like of Reikiko as an Android? It seemed clear that the SSE had some grand new weapon at their disposal.
Yet despite the knowledge that the Earth's situation had gotten that much bleaker, that the power at the disposal of the SSE had reached a level that would threaten the entire galaxy and beyond...despite all that the only thing that Katsu thought at first was of Yuki. Thinking for a long moment, Katsu imagined what it would feel like for him to have lost his mother in such a matter. He truly forced himself to feel the sensations as clearly as he could, trying his best to put himself in Yuki's carapace so to speak. Finally once he had thought it through Katsu shook his head and began to move. The pain and sadness would be soul-crushing. A child shouldn't be made to feel such sadness. Katsu knew if he had felt such sadness as a child he would have been forever changed for the worse. His growth would be stunted forever, never reaching the potential he might yet reach.
Having made the decision Katsu gathered some supplies from his home, keeping in mind who he was going to try and help. He'd heard a rumor that Reikiko liked apples, and so Katsu brought some big fresh red Delicious along with him. He had heard of Reikiko's appearance in West City with her performance before she left, so he brought some certain equipment along. When finally he had all of his supplies Katsu left his home to go and visit Yuki, using his Ki Sensing to search out that little flame in the dark that signified Yuki. From the Southern Islands deep in Paozu Mountain Katsu traveled North and East, coming first to the Capital city there before continuing on deeper into the wilderness, skirting the Spinach Wastes as he headed closer to the Bamboo Forest...
However!
Katsu would become aware of yet another Ki signature as he traveled above the land, his hovercar skimming the rocky formations of the Spinach Wastes. It was a Ki signature he had thought he'd never sense again. Walker, the living Tree man and professed defender of Earth, whether or not the Earth liked it. Katsu was so sure he'd never feel such an aura again because he knew for a fact that Walker had been absorbed by Reikiko, and had thought that Walker would have done so willingly to provide the Bio-Android with enough power to stand against the Saiyans...in vain apparently.
Curious, Katsu diverted his travel path, engaging the afterburners to catch up to that aura. When finally Katsu caught sight of Walker he would call out with his telepathy in shock, ”Walker! What the hell are you doing alive?! I knew for a fact Reikiko absorbed you, I sensed your power in her aura before she left the planet...what...Are you a new sapling or a true revenant?”

As he heard the call, Walker chuckled slightly. He had been looking for Hikari, but it seemed he had found someone else. "Hello there, Katsu. It is good to see you too." Chuckling slightly, he leaned back in the air, observing the man. "And yes, I was dead. Now I am not. I decided I had finished my business in Hell, and checked out. Hopefully they don't get too upset about the hole I tore between this world and the afterlife, though. I did close it behind myself." He had to admit, he was a little proud of that. It was a rather unusual feat, after all.
"Anyway, how have things been? I confess, your help may be necessary soon. Things are going to be getting... difficult." It wasn't an exaggeration, either. The entirety of the world's recent events seemed to have been designed entirely to make things a million times worse. The situation had been slowly sliding towards a catastrophe for a while now. "Hmmm. I don't suppose... You wouldn't happen to be able to make a Dragon Radar, would you?" He still needed to find one of the Dragon Balls, in order to keep it safe and prevent the Dragon from being summoned just yet. There was an alternate solution, if it came to it... but it was one he was hesitant to utilize, unless he absolutely had to. It would be a step too far over the line, most likely. Cracking his neck slightly, he gestured. "Well, if you wouldn't mind following me?"
He gestured in the direction he was heading before. "I am going to find Hikari and Rei's daughter. She asked me to send a message to the pair of them, and someone else." He needed to deliver that soon, at the least. Hikari must be worried.

[OOC: Rei says she can't think of a good post yet, so another round as we head to the cottage, Walker.]
Katsu continued to close in on Walker's position with his hovercar, listening to Walker's reply as he neared the sentient Tree's hovering form. The amount of information that was being passed along with a certain level of casualness was making Katsu's head swell up like a balloon with questions. In fact Katsu eventually had to stop walker in the middle of his speech and put up a hand, “Whoa whoa. Slow down, Walker...
“Okay... let me get this straight. Death is not the end. There is an afterlife, and apparently there is a Heaven and a Hell. You went to Hell, and then you broke out of Hell by tearing a Hole in Reality?!... And then you say this with a calm and collected attitude as if you do this sort of thing all day every day... Jus...just.... By the Creator my head hurts right now...” Katsu used both hands to rub his forehead as he processed the information he had been hearing. This was overwhelming to a man of science like Katsu. His studies had always up to this point been grounded in pure science, which was limited in its interpretation of the world and its mechanisms. Katsu had no stigma against the thought of the Supernatural, but his studies just never included such things, and so hearing this kind of information from a sentient magical tree was a bit too much to just casually accept.
It took a moment, but eventually Katsu pulled out his datapad as he spoke, “Okay. My world view is shifting. I'm good though. Dragon Radar... Dragon Radar... Says here it's a Capsule Corp Proprietary invention, available to select clientele only... Hrm... Even if I got a blueprint I probably couldn't make one, but the BBA probably has some if it's an important device, I could see if I could requisition a couple.
“I've got to ask though. This entry here only states it's meant to pick up the energy field given off by Dragon Balls, but doesn't say anything else. What are Dragon Balls, Walker?”
Katsu would continue to follow Walker as they both flew on towards Reikiko cottage in the Bamboo forest. It was fortuitous that Walker had planned to visit Hikari, who Katsu knew as General Mint, and Yuki. It'd be much easier to cheer Yuki up if he could tell her that Reikiko could come back from Death itself. Katsu would have his vehicle touch down in the area in front of the house, hopping out and pressing the button to return his hovercar to a capsule, which he pocketed.
“Hello. General Mint, Yuki?”

As the pair flew, Katsu still shaking his head and muttering about the tree's words, Walker ran over his thoughts in his head. The Dragon Radar would be difficult to get. He wished there was an easier way, but he wasn't sure how else he would locate a Dragon Ball. Still... Vipoi would likely object to Rei's plan, especially if he tried to ask the android directly. It was not safe to assume that he would not try to use the Dragon Balls in some capacity. They had proven valuable before... no, this needed to be dealt with directly.
"The Dragon Balls are a series of 7 orbs, which once per year can grant a wish to whoever collects them. They are thus sought after, although only one set is known to exist at the moment. They can be created through the abilities of a Namekian of great power, such as Scargot, the previous Kami." He didn't really want to talk about Bing, who was technically still the incumbent, despite being currently unfit for the job. He would be once more, Walker swore. If nothing else, the Dragon Balls must at least be able to do that much. If not... he would be having words with the Dragon himself.
"Ah, here we are." He had been given a location for the cottage, but it had been somewhat vague. Landing, he moved in behind Katsu, letting the human go first. It wasn't exactly easy for him to fit through most doors. Hopefully Hikari was not too despondent. His own presence after Hikari had seen him die should give her hope that Rei would return as well. Death did not have to be the end for those with the determination to keep going. However, if Rei did NOT return... Walker would go back to Hell and drag her rear back to earth himself.

When the two visitors arrived at the cottage it didn't take long for the sound of footsteps to approach from the other side shortly after Katsu had spoken out. Indeed, as the door opened, it seemed the green-haired general had appeared, at first merely opening the door slightly, her eyes cast onto the scientist when she smiled weakly at him.
"I remember you... Mister Yuda, am I right? However, I left that title and position behind long ago, my name is merely Hikari now..."
Hikari's voice was surprisingly disheartened, depression and grief clearly filling her tone despite her attempt to sound upbeat. However, it was when she spotted Walker that her eyes widened in disbelief.
"W-Walker?"
The door slowly opened as she rushed toward the two of them, or more specifically Walker as her surprise turned into concern.
"Is she alright? Please tell me Reikiko is fine! I been trying to reach out to her but her link to me disappeared when...when..."
She couldn't say it again, tears slowly gathering in her eyes as she shook her head, trying to shake away the thought.
"But the fact you returned confirmed Reikiko's assumptions that one can escape from the afterlife. I was rather skeptical since the existence of Athren's revival was confirmed, but... Poor Yuki is in a much worse state."
Her tone seemed to sadden a little as she gestured for the two of them to follow after her. Once inside the cottage she led them straight into the living room, one that was surprisingly spacious in horizontal length, but when it came to vertical Walker would likely find that he could only barely fit! Little Yuki was visibly seated in a rocking chair, but neither the chair or herself were moving at all, the bio-android's lifeless gaze cast into the distance, as if her soul was gone, and judging from how she was looking the little bio-android could easily have been mistaken for a doll.
"Yuki... There are some friends of Reikiko, why don't you say hi to them?"
Yet the child remained motionless, likely still under influence of the tragic effect her mother's death had on her.

Katsu smiled and gave a nod to Hikari, giving her an apologetic look, “Ah, sorry about that Hikari. You probably told me your name before but I've got brain damage from the Saiyan Invasion, still got patches in my memory.” Katsu gave a gentle knock against his own head as he spoke to keep the tone of the conversation thus far a little silly. Of course the appearance of the revenant tree Walker took things for a darker turn as it brought up the fact that Reikiko was dead. Katsu however either through some pure ignorance of social cues or perhaps a determination not to be sad hummed quietly as he was led into the home, taking care to wipe the dirt off of his feet at the doorway first. Didn't want to be rude, after all.
Being led to Yuki's position they found her sitting near-lifeless in a rocking chair, as if waiting to be put in some doll collection. Katsu got right to business, kneeling down next to her, taking both of her hands and placing a great big Red Delicious apple in them, curling her fingers around the tasty looking fruit. Dispensing with words that Yuki would likely ignore in her fugue, Katsu opted to speak directly into Yuki's mind, his mental projection echoing in the minds of the others so that they knew what he said.
”Yuki. Rei-mama is going to come back. She's dead but not gone, she can come back. Walker is here, alive and well, and he has been dead. Do you think Rei-mama is gonna let a fellow Bio-Android upstage her like that?”

Nodding to Hikari as she exited the house, Walker tensed slightly as he felt another presence within the house. It felt like Rei, but that was literally impossible. He had just seen her in the Afterlife, and he would have sensed her reviving. Besides, the power was far too low to possibly be her. Refocusing, he bowed to the Saiyan woman and spoke consolingly. "Do not worry, Hikari. Reikiko is... well, she is dead, technically, but she is still whole, and has already regained her body and will in the afterlife. She is training with a powerful being there, to become stronger, and intends to return as soon as she can." He gestured to himself.
"As I believe my presence can attest, it is certainly possible to return. I met a being there that had already returned twice. She had not abandoned her family." He had grasped the nature of the relationship between Rei and Hikari, and apparently Kaula as well. Possibly this fourth girl, if her her vague hint was anything to go by. However, it didn't seem that Rei's love was the one in need of the most reassurance. Entering in behind her, he was quickly greeted with the source of that power he had felt.
Yuki, a being who was clearly Rei's child, sat in a rocking chair. The look of despair on her face was evident, and she seemed utterly disinterested in the recently arrived pair. "Hello there. You must be Yuki. I am Walker, a friend of your mother's, and I suppose part of her as well, now." He pulsed his Ki slightly, the resonance of the power that Rei, and to a lesser extent Yuki held echoing in the Ki senses of those nearby. "I saw your mother, just recently. She is coming back. A little something like a natural-born's concept of 'The End' wouldn't be enough to stop her, correct?" He wasn't sure if this would work or not. He was a rather blunt being, and not the best at being comforting. Ah well, perhaps it would be enough. Seeing the young Bio-Spawn like this was painful indeed.
