Arias had gained a lot of power than she previously had before, feeling the power course through her veins, as she remembered when she felt weak and stupid, scared of everything. Her teeth bared as she strode into the Wastelands, feeling the gravity once more, the sweet x10 gravity of Vegeta. She loved the feeling of being home, and she was stronger than before, and not scared this time around. She kept her hand on her pouch around her waist, approaching a overhang where she knew underneath lied the broken bodies of her parents. Arias had to fight back emotion swelling within her heart, shoving it back down as she looked to her side, pulling out a capsule and stepping back, letting the house set up. The house was deep red like the overhang, she'd painted it that way to make it blend in and remind her of her homeworld. Arias closed her eyes, breathing a slow, full breath before sighing. She walked inside the house, and soon remembered her mate yet again, whom she missed badly. The Sayianess retreated to the bedroom, crying into a pillow that still had the scent of Daika on it. She cried, letting the tears soak the pillow as she began falling into a sad state, and her heart sunk to the bottoms of her feet as she thought of her daughter as well, knowing that her daughter had taken off she'd watched the Majin girl fly the ship out of the atmosphere and into deep space. A tear trickled down her cheek as she thought of her family, before she shakes her head, trying to regain her old personality. Her aura was depressed and sad, in case anyone were to come by and sense the female warrior. Arias looked at her slightly bumped stomach, she was nearing 3 weeks along with the twins. She sighed sadly, greatly missing her mate and adopted daughter. Thread PL: 30,147. Light Weights: 22,611 )) Kay-El

Thread PL: 75,867 | Makyo Star: 758,670 | Heavy Weights: 189,665 -- The wastes were, well, they were wastes and nothing anyone told Kay-El Coliflo would ever change that simple fact. Coming to Vegeta was like a trial in and of itself for the child, the small five year old who once ran away from home to go and find her brother. All the world, no, the galaxy, felt so much smaller back then. With the techno-monocle situated on her left eye, she paused in alarm during her flight through the wastes. A ship came in not long ago, she’d seen it from the Pixie’s window, and she immediately went out to investigate sneaking past both Nana and Pin. Pounce, her kitten, remained with her tucked in her bag like a good boy.
One might question why she took off, was she not happy with Pin? Of course she was, but the two half siblings were still mostly strangers and Pin dragged her to and from many places, introducing her to so many important people that she just needed some time alone to...digest. First that generals, and then she wound up meeting the Queen Zuccetta, herself, getting into a rather crazy spar that amounted to the Queen taking on an incredible, powerful new form and fighting all of them at once. But aside from that, she didn’t want to think about any of it now, because Kay needed a distraction from the woes and throes of life. Sometimes getting out and doing something, anything, was better than sitting inactively or repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again.
What intrigued the girl even more was that the ship departed almost as quickly as it arrived and Kay picked up her pace, zooming toward the landing area and seeing…a house? And in that house was the signature her monocle-scouter picked up on. While they weren’t a complete baby, the power wasn’t a joke, either. She’d been around the same rank recently, herself. That was when she saw the familiar figure entering the dwelling and smiled. The last time she’d seen Arias, they’d been on Earth and Kay hadn’t gotten the chance to really say good bye. Slowly, she went to the door and knocked eagerly, waiting for the Saiyaness to answer. Having not told anybody she was going to Vegeta, since Kay didn’t know herself, at the time, she was sure Arias would be as surprised to see her as Kay was to see Ari.

Arias wiped away her tears, staying silent and listening to the sounds of the wind howling by. Her lips were tight and her eyes slowly stopped tearing up. Arias went to a closet, and picked up a purple teddy bear, which whisked her into another memory. A memory of being with Presto at the carnival. She stays silent and quiet, letting the memory play out and trying not to cry when she heard her daughter in the memory speak. "I will never forget you Arias...you have tattooed yourself on my mind and nothing will ever split us apart...because you're my mother! I know that just as well as you do. We are a family now Arias and no 'destiny is going to change that."
Arias clenched her fists, rage at everything that had happened was building inside the Sayianess and the one thing she wanted to do was just yell at the heavens, yell at them for playing her, like a puppet on strings. She felt like there were strings attached, and imagined a cloud hand playing her as a puppet. The thought of this built up an insane amount of rage, to the point she just screamed aloud with a furious yell.
Arias sensed a massive energy level, one that she could have sworn she felt before, but felt the effects of the Mayko Star on the familiar energy, rendering the Sayianess confused as to whether she knew the energy or not. She stepped away from the front door when it was knocked on, regardless of being in the back bedroom. She slowly approached the door, getting ready to fight if need be. Arias didn't take off her weights, despite everything.
She opened the door, and saw a face she knew all too well. She was startled, and blinked, rubbing her eyes. "Kay, wha.. what are you doing here? I thought you were on Earth. Why would you be here on Vegeta?" She asked, all the same stepping aside to let her in. Arias' kitten, Komatsuna, was chasing a ball with a lot of catnip inside from one room to the other, going across the hallway to do so.

Kay-El wore patience like a homeless man wore a tuxedo, ill fitting and uncomfortably. At the sound of footsteps inside, she perked up considerably, dark eyes roaming the area around her as she took off her scouter. Honestly, the child had no need for it all now, and didn’t like wearing it to begin with. Half the time she forgot it existed, the other half she always took it off or purposefully forgot to use it. Either way, she didn’t think she’d need it now, not here out in the middle of the wasteland with only Arias for company. Besides, Arias possessed the ability to sense Ki, something Kay-El never could quite grasp so if anyone tried to sneak up on them the girl felt sure Ari would notice.
When the door finally opened Kay smiled up at the older girl and barreled in, arms wide as she hugged Arias. Sometimes one of the best feelings in the world was seeing a familiar face in an unfamiliar place. “Me?” she asked curiously. “I thought you were still on Earth!” The smile she gave Arias lit up her whole face and even reached those dark eyes. “I’ve been traveling with my brother, Pin. We met up back on Earth and he told me I could go with him but I didn’t really have time to say goodbye to anyone or anything like that…”
With a sigh, Kay shook her head, thinking about Core and how she hadn’t gotten to see him before leaving. Surely he’d forgive her and understand, right? Right. Core didn’t seem the type to hold a grudge nor deny her a chance to know one of her only remaining family members. “We went to Namek first...that place looks so strange! And now, well, we’re here. What about you? How come you’re here? Sick of Earth already?” After searching for her brother for so long it was wonderful to finally be traveling with him. Core had to forgive her, he just had to. “You’re from here, right?” she asked, fairly confident she wasn’t wrong. “Why don’t you show me around and get reacquainted with the area, too?” All those new friends were great and all but sometimes Kay just wanted some chill time with someone she already knew, already respected and didn’t have to be so damned nervous around. Besides, Arias looked upset and Kay thought maybe a distraction might help.

Arias blinked getting hugged by Kay-El. She picked up the child and hugged her tightly in return before setting her down. Arias heard a beeping and looked around in a rather curious manner, twitching her tail as it hung loosely behind her. She had missed Kay, and it was a good thing to see the child again. Arias figured Kay was a hybrid, because she had the effects of the Mayko Star but at the same time had human complexion with no horns. Arias didn't say anything about it though, keeping it all within her mind as the Sayianess shuts the door behind Kay to prevent the dust from blowing into the house.
She listened to what Kay-El had to say, and she watched as Kay smiled, her eyes warming at the sight of the familiar face and the smile she never remembered really seeing. "I came back a few days ago. I couldn't stand being judged because I'm a Sayian." Arias chose not to reveal her membership of the SSE to Kay-El, unsure of how the child would react. She knew for a fact that Core reacted badly, and figured Kay had the same opinion on the SSE, since she was such good friends with Core. "I'm glad you found your brother, I have met him a few times on Earth, once on Vegeta before I even went to Earth. I didn't say goodbye to anyone either, I hate saying goodbye because saying goodbye is like saying you'll never see someone again."
Arias nodded in response to Kay-El's question, and spoke once more. "Indeed, I was born on Vegeta. My house under this overhang is over the graves of my parents, whom I buried 12 years ago when they were killed. I can show you around, although there isn't much to see and there is quite a few high energy levels in the City, and the Tuffle Ruins are clouded in a poison gas." Arias replied.
Suddenly a loud mewl sounded, and Komatsuna raced up to Arias and hopped onto her owner's shoulder, where Arias gently stroked one finger over the baby tuxedo kitten. She looked at Kay, awaiting her reaction to everything she said so far, remaining silent but not cold towards Kay at all, keeping a friendly stance.

Kay-El knew her demon half was dominant over the Saiyan half. She had a tail that, in color, matched the dark, midnight blue color of her eyes and long, curly hair but that and her general shape and form were where the similarities ended. Her eyes were all that one, solid color, no hint of pupil or whites within just a swimming dark blue the color of an ocean at its deepest and darkest. As for her teeth, her slightly elongated canines showed when she smiled, the flash of fangs having the particular effect of unnerving those who didn’t know her well. Her ears, too, were pointed at the tips. And then there were her eyelids, both sets. Oh, sure, the outer one was normal enough on her extremely pale complexion, but there was a second, inner set of clear eyelids that came down when she swam or got nervous. And, unlike humans and Saiyans, there was webbing between her fingers and toes someone wouldn’t notice unless they got close enough to see her small, delicate hands up close and personal.
As Arias spoke, Kay nodded, completely understanding. Not only did she get judged for being half Saiyan, she also got judged for being half demon. Both seemed feared or ridiculed or heinous to others despite everything she tried to do with her life. Decisions didn’t seem to matter, only perspective. Which brought about the age old question of whether a person is a product of nature, nurture or both. “I know the feeling…” she said, her voice deep with emotion, the raw honesty showing through rare in one so young. At the note about goodbyes she shrugged. “I suppose that’s true but I still feel bad I didn’t get to see them before I left.” At five years old, every parting felt like the end of the world, and she’d left on a rather large journey this time. "Wait...you know Pin?" she asked, slightly annoyed the woman never told her. Then again, she couldn't remember if she'd actually asked Arias or not - with all the various people she met in her life she'd asked most, but not all.
“Well, I’m sure there must be something interesting to see around here,” she looked up at Arias curiously. And as the small cat made its way to Arias’ shoulder Pounce purred from within her bag and Kay let him out. He jumped up onto Kay-El’s shoulder and she flew up so the two kittens would be at eye level. They could always spar, she supposed, thinking it rather sad how Arias build her new life over the old. That wasn’t really moving on, but perhaps she sought closure instead.

Arias took in the complexion of the girl she knew, and wasn't disturbed by the fangs. She quirked a eyebrow seeing something, and looking behind Kayle noticed her Sayian tail. She was slightly startled by the information but did not disclose the startlement in any way, shape, or form. She never knew Kay-El had a clear set of eyelids, and still didn't know. The Sayianess heard beeping again from Kay's bag and covered her ears, hating the noise. It drove her crazy to hear the way the scouter sounded. Arias shakes her head to regain her senses and tried ignoring the successive beeping.
A Sayian/Demon hybrid, WHAT!? How! Arias thought, blinking a few times as she absorbed the information given. Arias sighed, nodding her head at Kay's words. "I am glad at least someone understands." She replied, and then spoke again. "You would drag out saying goodbye, in which makes it seem like forever." She replied again, and then at the comment about Pin, she spoke again. "Yes, I know Pin. Don't think you ever asked me though, and your aura is irritated." Arias replied.
"I don't think Vegeta has much scenery, but all the same I can show you around the wastes. I've never been to the City here on Vegeta." She admitted. "Too many powerful energies make me fear for my life." She smiled, seeing Pounce once more. "I'm happy to see you both, I never should have thought you wouldn't bring Pounce along with you. I see he wants to meet Komatsuna, she's my kitten." Arias indeed sought closure, by bringing her family name to justice someday by becoming the best, although it was a long ways off.

At the beeping Kay dug through her bag and muttered, “Sorry, still learning how to use this thing...thought I turned it off.” Finding the switch, she did just that before stuffing it back in her bag. The two kittens seemed to make friends and Kay figured why not let the two run around? Likely the two females would never agree on saying goodbye or not, but at least they agreed when it came to their pets and that kept Arias a-okay in Kay’s book. At the statement that she was annoyed, Kay sighed. “I’m annoyed at myself more than anything else,” she admitted, finally finding the switch and turning off the stupid scouter.
Arias spoke of Vegeta not having much scenery and Kay said, “How about things to do in general?” Thinking of Earth’s many shops and parks and other things to do like malls and sporting events and concerts, Kay-El found it incredibly boring that a planet of such renown as this offered none of it. Having been to the city once, Kay-El thought she understood and looking at the small bump. What expecting mother wouldn’t want to avoid potential danger zones at all times? Then again, what provocation would anyone have to attack either of them out of nowhere? Living in fear was no way to live.
As talks turned to kittens she set Pounce down on the ground who looked up expectantly, probably wondering why he was down there when everyone else that he found so interesting was so way up high. “Let’s let them play, I suppose,” she smiled, and then turned back to Arias. “No, really, okay no scenery - scenery is boring, anyway. I’m sure we’d be fine wherever. No hot local spots tourist or otherwise?” More than a little bummed at the lack of things to do on Vegeta, she really was glad Pin mentioned her needing to go back to Earth for a brief period in the near future. “I have to go back to Earth soon…” she said softly. “I was hoping to find things to do here first.”

Arias nodded in understanding, she'd never needed a scouter, having been born with the ability to sense ki. "I've never really expected to use a scouter, never have since I was born with ki sensing." She sighed, looking at Kay-El. "Don't be annoyed." She replied, shaking her head. She was happy both of them had kittens, she really enjoyed having such a beautiful cat, and had loved cats ever since she met Pounce. She definitely thought Kay was her friend, and hoped Kay would feel the same way about her.
"There wasn't much to do here ever. We're a warrior race that usually is barely on the planet to begin with, always on missions to conquer and destroy. A Sayian's idea of fun is a spar, or a fight." She replied, twitching her tail lightly as she noticed Kay looking at her stomach. "Seems you found out my secret by the way you're looking. I'm going to have twins, if you're curious." She responded.
Arias let Komatsuna climb down her back onto the floor, and Komatsuna mewled at Pounce, pawing at his nose and attempting to play with the male kitten. Arias awwed at the sight, finding it adorable. "Komatsuna is friendly, she loves to play as well." She tells Kay, watching the female kitten attempt to play-wrestle Pounce, Komatsuna didn't have her claws out, only wanting to play.

Already over the minor annoyance and having moved on, she looked up at her friend as they spoke of scouters and other things. “Lucky you…” she said softly. “I’ve never been able to master that one and I’ve had several people try to teach it to me!” Eventually she gave up on trying to learn it and bought the stupid scouter. Who really needed Ki Sense, anyway? When they made things like these scouters, it really didn’t seem all that...necessary. She just needed to remember she owned it from time to time.
Secret? Kay felt it hard to miss what with the bump and all, but if Arias was living out here all alone then, sure, she supposed it would be a secret after all. “Oh!” she said, smiling. “Well, that’s amazing! Congratulations!” The girl meant it, too, knowing Arias likely to be a better mother than any Kay-El had ever known, herself. Heck, Kay considered herself an expert on the ‘bad’ kind of mothers due to her unfortunate luck at having had two of the rotten things. Both, ironically, were Saiyan but that didn’t speak much for or against them. The five year old had a habit of not letting someone’s race dictate or color her opinion of them. No, that judgement was reserved for their words and actions.
She knew they were a warrior race, but back on Shikk, a planet the SSE took over, things were different. Despite having been raised in the Saiyan ways, there were other things to do - maybe that was one of the reasons her father loved it on Shikk so much, always taking her places like the mountains or the beach or just out in general. For a few moments she just watched the kittens play. “I suppose you’re right...do you want to spar, then?” she said seriously, looking Arias dead in the eyes.

Arias nods in respect to Kay. "I would understand your ailment, if I was born without it. However, the past is not the present is it? We should not dwell on things like this." Arias replied, for the slightly crazy Sayianess, she knew what she would do in Kay's situation, except she would have hidden for eternity, because of her history. She was bloated to about the size of her fist, and her figure showed it off more than usual. "Four weeks.." She replied, getting a bit saddened as she thought of her mate. Arias watched the kittens play as well, remaining silent as she stood with her hands behind her back. Arias then looked at Kay, only to hear her speak, and lock eyes with her. Arias nodded once, her ki sparking with anticipation for a brand new fight. "Yes." Replied the Sayianess, the one word spoke all. She cracked her knuckles slightly, and walked into the other room, which she puts on her light-weighted clothing. She rolled her neck, before then striding out to meet Kay-El. (Light Weights: PL now 22,611.) Arias then proceeded to leave the house, and shut the door behind Kay before then getting into a battle stance, Seen here. charging up her energy for her Pepper Blasts attack. The Sayianess was also read to dodge by using afterimage or by simply rolling out of the way, as she continued to charge the attack. (Pepper Blasts [MP3] Charging, from 100% to 200% next turn. Kay blinked at Arias' rather philosophical approach, surprised at the turn of her prior taciturn nature but in a pleasant way. Taking a deep breath, she found her focus, her center, and let out the air from her lungs slowly. A new trick she’d been trying to master and now she needed it more than ever. With the power of the Makyo Star dripping down, seeping into her very soul, she didn’t want to take any chances of hurting Arias - especially not in her current condition. At that one word, Kay smiled and followed Arias out of the house, knowing the kittens would fend for themselves and find things to do. Preferably non destructive things but beggars couldn’t be choosers, although Pounce tended to behave himself, thankfully.
“Give me...just a second,” she said, concentrating on her Ki, suppressing it and shooting an experimental Ki Blast. This the child worked on for weeks and finally just now seemed to grasp. At least she’d gotten the hang of it before the fight, her other plan would have just been to tell Arias to try and hit her but where was the fun in that? “Alright.” she said with a smile and shifting into her own fighting stance, wings out as she took to the air for extra maneuverability. This had the potential to be anyone’s fight and Kay-El felt the excitement and adrenaline course through her veins. -- Mastered Ki Setting: PL set to 23,000

Captain Jala had allowed her to join the Solar Saiyan Empire, the Majin now sworn to people that she barely knew, some of whom she had yet to meet. For most true devotion to any, even family, was hard to understand. Emotions often clouded the mind and led those with clear intentions astray. At a very young age her previous master had made sure she lacked things like fear and sentiment. He had been an objective based man and now so was she. That being said, her desire was not to be a mindless drone. Shemha looked to offer far more to Habana and her colleagues, yet she knew so little of the land that was now her home. She had visited New Vegeta in the past, but with another’s objectives as her primary focus, not to learn and observe.
With no training scheduled for the day she had taken it upon herself to explore. If this planet was to be her home, then she needed to know it, understand its layout. Such knowledge would help her in everyday life and against any threat that might dare challenge the Saiyan might. The wastelands were an area she had heard mentioned by various soldiers, yet there statements often lacked any detail true details. That is what she had thought; the reality was that there was little to say about the wasteland beyond that it was exactly that, a wasteland. In the half an hour she had been in the air, dirt and rock had dominated the landscape. Only the occasional shell of a structure or various craters broke up the monotonous brown that stretched out below her.
About to call it quits and return to the barracks, Shemha paused when she sensed signatures in the distance. As she floated in the air her sense reached out, a rough estimate soon made it clear they were stronger than her. It was odd they were so far out, but so was she. Hesitation washed over her for a moment, but in the end natural curiosity won out. Back in motion, the Marjin soared across the scortched earth once more as she zeroed in on the two signatures. It wouldn’t be long before whoever it was came into view and when she was able to clearly seem, they would be able to see her. Regardless of whom they were, Shemha approached as non-threateningly as possible. She felt safe enough on New Vegeta, but the Universe was an unforgiving place.

Arias continued to power up her attack, remaining in that stance as baby blue lightning crackled around her form, the ground under her cracking slightly, as she kept her eyes locked upon Kay-El, ready to dodge if she needed to. Arias wondered why Kay hadn't attacked yet, as she felt the power pounding through her body. She closed her eyes for a moment as the power within her twitched and sparked, she had some trouble holding it back but she managed to cope with the power surging through her body.
Arias sensed a new energy nearby, however she paid no attention to it due to the fact it was far weaker than theirs, as the power flowing through her body blinding her with pride, one of her canines showed in a rather vicious smile, her hazel eyes becoming clouded with the crazy feeling of the wild power she bore. Arias chuckled quietly to herself, focusing on charging the attack. However, she wondered why Kay-El did not stop her from launching it.

Kay could tell from the look Arias gave her she must think the child an idiot. But Kay-El was decidedly not an idiot, and rolled her head just a little in preparation. From the way the Ki gathered around Arias, Kay-El could tell she was working up something big...really big, and she frowned. That wasn’t the only thing she noticed, either, seeing a dark form coming over the rise. Another contender probably drawn there by their power and their friendly match. From her vantage point in the air she spotted the Majin early. Unable to sense Ki, she knew she’d have to raise her power level in order to fight them both and did so significantly, not sure how much to raise it by off the bat. Besides, she’d be stretching herself thin by fighting off both at once and could always lower it back down if she quickly overpowered them. For now, she’d see how the dominoes fell. Raising her hands up they touched opposite shoulders, Arias might or might not remember this tune. Kay-El began to sing, the lullaby floated out and around as the child channeled her Ki through her voice. Her own heart rate slowed and she imagined Arias’ doing the same, picturing the Saiyaness falling asleep like she had that day at the lake. If it worked, Arias’ charge would evaporate. Yes, she’d be back at full KP but at least she’d be unable to move or do anything for an entire round - long enough for Kay-El to take stock of this newcomer. KP: ⅔ Ki set to 45,000 Sent 45k stun at Arias (see below) [SU1] DREAMWEAVER: Kay-El crosses her arms, touching each shoulder with the opposite hand and channels her Ki through the her voice. A soft, soothing tune floats around the target to lull them to sleep. Stuns for 1 round at 100% PL. Can disrupt a charging attack if the stun power level is within 80% of the opponent's power level.
