After Reikiko had secretly departed from Earth, two figures were flying into the direction of the timeless lookout. Judging from the fast speed they were flying at it was clear that whatever business they had, it was urgent and finally after several minutes of flying the two of them landed on the stone platform that held the temple. The hybrid looked around restlessly, hoping she would have at the very least found the caretaker of the temple. In the end Maeve had introduced herself at the last greeting as the fiance of the late Bing, so perhaps she would have been around. "Miss Maeve, are you there?!"Yet the initial shout didn't get the response she desired. Perhaps it was the silence, or the tug at the sleeve covering her arm that made Hikari look sideways to the little Chimera spawn at her side, the sobs coming from the child making her think back about the urgency of the situation. Why! Why did she have to run off like that?! Weren't they supposed to go on a quest to find a means to challenge the empire? This might had been a challenge to the empire, but it would become a suicide! Closing her eyes for a moment the hybrid allowed her ki to flare outwards, letting her emotions slowly surface. "Why... Why did you have to leave us!"An angry shout was accompanied by the painful feeling of her abandonment, the anger she had been trying to contain slowly stirring the emotion she needed. The golden sparks of energy that flown around her aura, the slowly change of her hair into the golden color, and the teal color of her irises was enough to give a clue that she was turning into her Super Saiyan transformation, hoping the powerful presence would lure out someone. "Administrator Azure! Mister Toma! Turtle Grandmaster!"The shouts continued as her aura flared even more viciously into the air, finally reaching its full peak as she screamed on top of her lungs. "ETORU! CIPHER! ANYONE! PLEASE AT THIS RATE SHE IS GOING TO GET HERSELF KILLED!"The scream was enough to send a gust of energy over the lookout, the overexertion of using her aura as a beacon making as she collapsed onto her knees, her Saiyan transformation slowly disappearing as tears ran down her cheeks. ----- Hikari briefly ascended to her SSJ2 transformation (x20) in its full power to draw out anyone she could. This topic is open to anyone, especially: Etoru Articho Reville Maeve Rakshasa Vi-Poi Toma Ninjin Nedrag Defrosch Liang Cipher 24 Likely not going to get any gains, but since this topic was planned to be tied to Reikiko's departure I won't care.

[Thread PL: 231,263]
Etoru sat inside on his old bed within the temple of the lookout. He held the ripped cloth which held the serpent emblem on it. He cut it off from his uniform, or well old uniform. Frowning, he wondered when he and Reikiko would start some real training. It was really getting annoying. The child 'would' be at the cottage right now, but this place brought back a few memories of his time with Bing. He just didn't like coming here since people always randomly stormed by! It gets really annoying from time to time! Don't people have any manners...and just at that moment, he felt Hikari's energy land on the lookout along with Yuki's. Frowning, he pocketed the serpent cloth. Hikari was yelling out names desperately. Etoru blinked confused and walked out casually.
As he was exiting, he felt her power skyrocket. Etoru's eyes widened as he rushed out. "Is she fighting someone?! Some...not...sensable person? Like an android...? How did her power jump that high..." Etoru ran out of the lookout and saw Hikari on the floor weeping. Beside her was a crying Yuki. Etoru looked at the two confused. "Huh...?" Etoru slowly approached his companions. Frowing, he tilted his head. "Who is...? Jeez, you guys are big cry babies." Etoru smiled lightly. Stretching, he let out a bit of a bored yawn. "Maaan~ Ms.Hikari, do you know when Reikiko is going to like train me or whatever." He glanced at Yuki and squinted. Looking up at the other child, he questioned her. "Hey...where even 'is' Ms.Reikiko Sensei anyways...because I don't sense her anywh---" Etoru stopped himself. Glancing at his weeping companions, his eyes widened as he just realized what was going on. She took off.
Etoru clenched his fists anxiously. Based on what he gathered from his time with Reikiko, he knew that there were two possibilities of where she could have went. One. She went too some other planet too work on her empire, maybe hire warriors or gather information. Two, she went to go stop someone. And Etoru didn't know anyone else powerful in the galaxy except Queen Zucceta and her empire. Other than that, Etoru wasn't sure who could have been worth hunting. Etoru looked at the floor nervously. "Reikiko...went to..." Etoru grit his teeth tightly. Etoru needed to stay calm though. Ever since he lost Bing, it's been like he's gotten a whole deal quieter. However, that was mainly just him suppressing his emotions. "Reikiko....that big IDIOT! WHY WOULD SHE DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! I...I CAN'T LOSE HER TOO!" Etoru looked at Hikari with a determined stare. "Ms.Hikari. Yuki." He said calmly. Clenching his fists, he turned his back away from them. The wind blew by, whistling as he gave a brief moment of silence.
Once the wind died down, he spoke again, not looking back. His voice seemed lifeless and calm. Too calm for a child his age going through as much as he did in fact. "I have a ship. We're leaving. We'll stop Ms.Reikiko Sensei before she does something I would do." Etoru joked despite the situation at hand. "I can always go alone if you two are going to keep crying...I can just leave you with Mr.Vi-Poi and give you a diaper and soother." Etoru said as he quoted Reikiko from before. So what will they choose?

That sudden burst of power had caught Cipher's attention like a flashing light. What was happening? Why was Hikari's power level skyrocketing? And more importantly, why was it coming from the lookout? Cipher had just gotten prepared for his departure with Reikiko, and was awaiting contact from her when he felt it. Was this a signal of some kind? As he arrived, he would find Hikari, Yuki and Etoru at the lookout, the little bio-android AND the Saiyan hybrid crying. As he closed in, he could hear the conversation, Etoru mentioning something about going after Reikiko. Reikiko had already left? and judging from the expression on her loved ones' faces, her reasons for going clearly weren't good.
That damned fool![/color]
"If you're going after her, then I will accompany you." Cipher spoke out, letting his presence be known as he touched down, his face hard, showing his clear displeasure about the situation, "Whatever damn fool idea she has, someone needs to at some sense into her." He looked over at Yuki, giving her a sad look. Seeing a child cry was absolutely heartbreaking, especially for a parent like himself. It just made him want to save Reikiko from her own stupidity even moreso. He looked back and forth between Etoru and Hikari. "You can fill me in on the details later. But right now, we need to get moving. If she's already off planet, then she has a big head start on us."

Ninjin had been sitting just outside of her home. The events that happened at the Lookout had left her thoughtful and thinking on everything. The bruise from the punch was fading but to her it was more a reminder than anything else. Why the things that where happening that were happening constantly danced around her mind. That combined with her own inability to seemingly go forth and regain strength made it hard on her psyche, but then she felt a massive power spike emanating from the Lookout. The power was a little familiar as it was one she was a little familiar with but the sheer amount of power released caused her to believe something was wrong so her ki manifested instantly and she took off toward the Lookout with a massive cloud of sand and dust in her wake.
As she flew across the skies she felt several other ki’s all heading toward the Lookout. One she recognized as the gifted youngster that she had caught the fist of with her chin. As she crested the side of the lookout her suspicions where confirmed as Etoru was already standing beside a saiyan woman who had seemingly collapsed down onto her knees. Her weighted feet landed upon the lookout as a strong wind blew across the Lookout bringing an eerie whistle upon the surface that was only the quiet. That was when she heard Etoru speak about him having a ship and then stopping Reikiko from doing something.
Just as she was about to speak up as Cipher made his appearance. The android was a welcome sight as he was someone that Ninjin would trust with her life. Hearing his words she decided to chime in. “Count me in to help you guys. We need as many hands as possible to bring her back in one piece because I guarantee that the saiyans wont leave her intact if they realize she is alone… and we need her in order to fight the SSE should they come after Earth.”
She did finally see the smaller figure standing beside Hikari and she felt her motherly heartstrings get pulled. As seeing a child as such almost made her want to rush right over and hug her but she would restrain this urge as she did not feel like catching another punch across the Lookout. Though she did walk closer to the others in order to have a easier conversation.

[Thread PL; 69,971] [UT] Liquid Ki - Mist Active! Ki suppressed to 10000]
Like Etoru, Defrosch was on the lookout. At current, he was sitting in one of the main interior rooms at the long dining table reading a few books that gave information on some of the rooms in the lookout; namely the Pendulum Room and a neighboring room called the Reflection Room. The books generally gave cryptic and vague things, but piecing a few things together, Defrosch could figure out the basics of each room for himself. As far as he knew, he Pendulum Room was fairly popular and was used quite often. Curiosity beckoned and he had at some point tried to enter both of these rooms but to no avail. Perhaps the Lookout had a mind of its own? Either that, or there needed to be a guardian for these rooms to be used.
The Arcosian wouldn't have much time to think on these things as he sensed a few powers arriving. A Saiyan that was here earlier, and... Reikiko? It sure felt very similar to Reikiko, but something about it was rather... Small. Both of these ki signatures seemed to be in a state of distress. 'What in the world..?' Defrosch set the books aside and started to make his way out onto the central platform and exited just as others were arriving. Toma's Wife had returned, and yet another familiar face had shown themselves; Cipher 24, of the Blue Banner Army.
"Hey, whats going on?" Defrosch reached the group only to hear the tail-end of the conversation. 'Reikiko left Earth? What for-' Then it hit him, it had to be because of the SSE. It was likely because of the threat that Zucceta posed... To make matters worse, Reikiko seemed to have left on her own. Now, Defrosch didn't know her that well, and her moods had been fluctuating between the times they had met in the past, but...
Her life could end just as Bing's did. Only to add yet another kill to the Queen's list.
As much of a 'stranger' Reikiko is in comparison to Bing, the Arcosian couldn't stand the thought of another flame being extinguished by that bitch of a queen.
"If this is the case, those with a stronger connection to her should go... I don't know her quite well personally, but she doesn't seem all that bad in complete honesty, despite what she says of herself... She's an Earthling, isn't she? Plus, if our worst suspicions are true, we can't just hand ourselves- or her- to the SSE on a silver platter."

TOMA THE HEROIt hadn't been difficult for Toma to pick up on the absolutly massive power spiking from the Lookout. Instinctvly, Toma transformed into a Super Saiyan, and blasted off towards the lookout to combat the threat. It was a power he was slightly familiar with.
Though he didn't recognize it at first, as he got closer he realized the energy was from the woman he had met previously. A woman by the name of... Hikari, was it? The woman that Reikiko had been with at the lookout the other day when Toma had tried to help out.
That was in the past, though. Putting the feelings of anger behind him, Toma's energy faded as he approached the lookout, reverting to his base form. Her energy didn't feel malicious, it felt... sad. And his suspicions were confirmed when his boots clapped against the ground when he landed on the lookout. She was crying, and Etoru, Ninjin, Cipher, and Defrosch were there, too.
It appears Toma had been rather late, joining the group. But he showed, so it didn't really matter. Though what did matter, was that he overheard Reikiko had gone to Vegeta, and that people were suggesting to stop her. Toma thought for a moment, before thinking.
He had of course met Reikiko before. She was a Bio-Android and a powerful ally to the Z-Fighters and Earth. While she might have been an apex predator, she was far from stupid. Surely she knew that going to Vegeta ment death, unless she wanted something else.
And then it clicked.
Kaula.
"She's not going to fight Zuccetta." Toma spoke in a matter of fact tone, as he walked over to the smaller Bio-Android next to Hikari. Toma could only assume this was Rei's child, as it looked much like Rei when Toma had met her when her personality had split. "Reikiko is a lot of things. But she's farm from stupid. She's going to get my sister from Vegeta, not to fight Zucceta." He spoke, before he leaned down, picking up the child and holding her close. He let out a 'shhh' noise, and smiled. "Do not cry, young one." Toma spoke, in a rather soft, sweet tone. The same tone he spoke to his own children to.
He would then begin to rock her back and forth slowly, making sure to allow her to cuddle into him if she wished. It might have just been Toma's fatherly instincts kicking in, but he couldn't stand to see a crying child with no comfort. "I promise, we'll get your mother back, all right?" Toma would speak, running his hand through the girls hair. "So do not cry. Be strong, like your mother. I promise you, everything will turn out all right."

“That’s quite an observation.” Vi-Poi said to Toma after landing, folding his arms. “So where has she gone to now?” The android asked, surveying the others quietly. He'd hoped it wasn't to absorb someone she shouldn't, yet again.

As several people had gathered it seemed Hikari had at least calmed down enough to communicate properly, rising onto her feet as she tried to wipe away her tears. Unfortunately it didn't seem to help for Yuki who continued to sob softly. The first one who seemingly received a response from her was Toma. He made a statement that in other cases might had been enough to convince her, but Hikari shook her head sorrowfully, explaining in a tone that clearly still shown her distress.
"In most cases I would have agreed with you Toma, but... she would have made me pick her up then. As someone with Saiyajin blood in my veins I'd be less likely to get noticed than someone like Reikiko. However, there is also the fact that Kaula was going to leave Vegeta to reunite with her after she settled some business."
Still, it was reassuring to hear that some people shared her desire to go and save Reikiko by going to Vegeta. However, upon Vipoi's arrival she was just about to inform Vipoi of the events when little Yuki's tail made a strong swish a moment after Toma tried to comfort her.
"Rei-mama?"
The poor child looked around in confusion, yet at the same time there was clearly no sign of Reikiko around the lookout.
"Wait Rei-mama! Don't go without Yuki! Yuki will behave---"
However, what followed caused the child's sobs to grow even more violently.
"Rei-Mama don't! Yuki doesn't want ice-cream or Ka-hakase! Yuki wants to be with Rei-mama!"
Clinging to Toma she looked at him pleadingly as she said in a clear state of panic.
"Rei-mama is in danger! Yuki knows! Rei-mama is using the Reikiho! Mama... mama said never to use the Reikiho..."
Hikari's eyes had widened in disbelief, as if she was shocked at something, yet after a moment she ran up to Vi, seemingly trying to cling to him in the form of an embrace while she allowed her tears to flow, yet unless someone had a very sharp hearing sense they would likely have been unable to hear the whisper that she had made, seemingly trying to conceal it behind her attempt to find comfort.
Still, what hurt Hikari even more were the words that followed from Yuki.
"Rei-mama's energy! it's getting bigger and bigger! She is about to use her Supah Reikiho! Mistwah Towa, please fly! fast! fly to save Rei-mama... Yuki... Yuki don't want to lose Rei-mama... Yuki will even give you everything Yuki has! Ooza the Oozaru, Supah Hero Nova and and..."
by now her words had almost become illegible from her sobbing, yet while Yuki was starting to cry even harder Hikari spoke some words to Vi, that sounded like a plea.
"I don't care what you'll ask of me in return administrator. But please avenge her... This... this all happened because of the empire. Reikiko considered Earth her home, and the Blue Banner army her family, she... she even tried to meet up with Liang after all that happened in the hope to earn his forgiveness. Please don't tell me you'll let the empire kill your own family!"
Although Hikari felt Reikiko's energy rising higher by the moment, even from so far away she also knew... Because she turned toward the group and spoke after taking a deep breath.
"What I'm about to say is something that shouldn't go beyond our gathering, and Etoru, this is the reason why your master considered this skill forbidden unless you are fighting a battle where you have to put all at stake: The Kikoho has a destructive power... but harms the user intensely, to the point that... at its full power you'll die for sure."
She lowered her gaze to the ground and spoke sorrowfully.
"Getting herself killed in the hope of saving Earth, a fight that wasn't hers in the first place... Just because she didn't want to see the empire destroy what we promised to protect a second time."
--- (If anyone icly has a legit ability or skill to overhear the whisper please let me know)

Post by Etoru on Apr 6, 2016 16:18:11 GMT
Etoru was facing away from everyone. He stared at the sky's as he clenched his fists. "Why did she have to just go out alone...![" Etoru thought. He couldn't lose another master! She was more than a master! Etoru knew they were becoming friends and then...damn that Zucceta...! Before he knew it, he heard Cipher's voice. He turned around. Etoru nodded. He let out a faint smile knowing he wasn't alone. "R-Right...but know this Mr.Cipher." Etoru pointed at him. "If we bump into Zucceta, she's mines." With that said, he turned back around. He heard more people arrive. Soon a bunch of people made it her. Etoru shook his head at Toma's assumption. "If that was the case, she would have brought Hikari and Yuki along....and even if she wanted to go alone, she wouldn't have done it without know one knowing..." Etoru frowned as he looked at the sky. He needed to act tough. Keep his composer. Although on the outside, he looked perfectly fine, but on the inside, he was hurting.
Sighing, he heard Defrosch's response. Etoru didn't turn around, nor did he say anything, but he completely agreed. Sometimes, people need to mind their own darn business! After all, when Etoru had the right to take that retched queen's head, he didn't want anyone interfering. Hikari stopped crying, Yuki, however, continued to sob. Toma picked her up and Etoru looked down, grief in his eyes. "Hmph..." Etoru felt like she was being babied. Etoru felt annoyed by it, no matter how bad he felt for her. She lost her mother, who wouldn't react like that? Etoru sighed loudly. Ninjin wanted to help, but Defrosch knew how to mind his business. Not that he didn't like Ninjin, in fact, he he DID like Ninjin. She wasn't a jerky person, especially how Etoru was acting now. She understood his grief. He just didn't know what relationships she had with Reikiko. He didn't know they knew each other back in the day.
Suddenly, Yuki started questioning herself, wondering where Reikiko was...what? Etoru side glanced at her with his back still facing the group. She seemed to be talking to herself...was she in denial? Etoru watched. It looked like she was having a conversation, but Etoru couldn't even figure out 'why' or 'how'...maybe she was just that sad? When she said Reikiko was in danger, and she was using the...Reikoho....Etoru's eyes widened. "Kikoho...but that move....will.....t-that BIG DUMMY!" Etoru stared at the platforms white tiles anxiously. Why would she?!?! A full powered Kikoho...Etoru white aura cracked the tiles beneath him as he stared down in disbelief. Hikari turned her attention to the group. Etoru turned around, an uneasy expression on his face. Etoru hung his head. "Yeah...I already know that Hikari..." Etoru clenched his fists tightly. "B-But one thing keeps bothering me...her energy isn't even clashing with Zucceta's...it feels like it's just bumping into some invisible force....so who...more importantly...what....the heck is she even fighting..."

This was bad. This was really bad, despite their planning, Reikiko had seemingly thrown everything to the wind, and was now on the verge of outright killing herself for no reason! And here Cipher was, stuck on Amarth with no way to help her. Just what was the woman thinking?!
While the idea of Reikiko dying sat poorly with everyone, it wasn't so bad for Cipher. After all, he had witnessed a man, the brenchian Saiyan hybrid Jarvis, tear his way out of hell himself after Realigner Red had killed him. If he could do that, then no doubt Reikiko could as well if she died. When she died. The real problem was that while Reikiko was dead, Earth was left without another defender, and their plans for the Chimera Federation were stalled. And there was nothing they could do about it! They couldn't get to Vegeta in time to stop her before she killed herself. Cipher let out an irritated growl as he looked down at the tiled floor, his mind trying to think of something, ANYTHING he could do. They could search for the dragonballs to revive her. No, that would take too long, plus she'd just end up back on Vegeta. And if she could somehow come back on her own, then working to revive her would be pointless. So what was he to do!?
Maybe...
An idea then struck him. Everything didn't have to suddenly grind to a halt. Sure, there would have to be some changes, but there was a way to make this work. Hell, as horrible as it sounds, maybe they could Reikiko's death to their advantage, though he wouldn't say that to anyone here. But if he was going to pull this off, he would need to get started right away.
He looked over at everyone, their Trenton on Hikari and Etoru. Nobody would notice him. Quietly, and without a word, Cipher turned and took off, flying away from the lookout. He knew they would be angry at him that he left so abruptly and without a word, but if his plan worked, it would benefit everyone, hell, the entire galaxy!
If Reikiko was going to head off ahead of them, then it was up to Cipher to put their plans into motion.
[Attempted Exit. PL if successful]

Ninjin would wave to Defrosch as he emerged from within the Lookout proper. It seemed that the Arcosian did in fact live here full time. That was something she was not expecting but should not of been surprised considering his knowledge during her last meeting upon the lookout itself. Though as her husband arrived and moved to comfort the young miniature Rei she would follow suit. The maternal instincts within her obviously playing a role inside of her decision. She heard the Arcosian speak up and say that someone with a strong connection to her should go there and help her and Ninjin closed her eye. “Those with the strongest connection where left behind for a reason… I can understand the reason as to why the Crane Mistress left those behind because I myself have thought about it in the past. Leaving to go and strike at the opponents that would bring the greatest danger to the world. Possibly strike down a bunch of them in the process and weaken them so that our fight in the future against the Empire would be easier….”
Her words spoken on the lookout where not very reassuring to herself or to anyone else as she seemed to think grander while standing here. Though her husbands words of his sister being on Vegeta where right as she remembered him telling her this after his return she would not of placed stock in Reikiko going to rerecruit her to the cause of defending Earth. To her from the few times she had met the other saiyan she had a mental picture that Kaula only cared for her own goals of fighting and getting stronger. Whoever the opponent she would fight and try to surpass. Though she knew she could be wrong about this but this was what she believed. That was when the child that her husband was holding broke into hysterics. Screaming about this or that about her mother before a single thing stuck out to her as she began to feel ki building far off from Earth. As the child’s words became more and more frantic she walked over to Toma and Yuki. Placing her hand onto the back of Yuki’s head she began to lightly caress the back of her head as she would her own daughter or son when they where upset about something. She had an idea what she was talking about as her mind flashed back to the few encounters her and Rei had had a long time ago in the past. The facts that Rei had at one time trusted her made this hurt Ninjin inside as she knew there was nothing anyone could do to stop what was going to come.
Then came the words from Hikari which made Ninjin’s lifteher head and looked directly into Toma’s eyes. It was the feeling on the lookout that made her do this as the hand on his gi tightened its grip. “I had heard rumors to that effect from when I was Turtle Hermit… Inside the early writing they spoke of watching Crane Masters performing a technique of immense destructive power… and then falling over dead after its use. So that is what this is we are feeling? If she is clashing with an unknown power signature… I think Vi-Poi knows exactly what it is that I am thinking… She is fighting an android or cyborg of some make. It would have to be remarkably strong in order for her to do this, and if she is willing to do this then we all should be ready to do the same should the time come. No hiding… no running away. For her and Bing’s honor we should not shirk away from whatever battle is to come before us…”
Turning away she looked over the others as Cipher took off. She figured he was heading back to warn his family or take care of something urgent so she did not stop him from doing so. Instead she just took her gaze and went from person to person. “I did not know her as well as so many of you others did… I was something of a rival for her for a very short time… but even through this I know that she is doing whatever she is doing because she believes it is the right course of action… I… I trust her and hope to Kami that she has found a type of peace that she only found on Avalon and with those closest to her.. I.. I will honor her by trying my damndest to be ready for whatever is to come… Whatever that is…”
Taking in a deep breath she took a step away from Toma and Yuki and instead looked straight up at the stars and focused in on the battle on Vegeta. The moment it would end she would close her eyes and tense up her fist as she could feel her anger growing but she would not allow it to show on this sacred place. Despite that she would feel that rise of power within herself. It was closer to the feeling she had before her children where born but not quite there.

Post by Defrosch on Apr 7, 2016 14:07:48 GMT
Much like the previous meeting, Toma was present, and with him came some interesting new information; the fact that he had a sister, who of all people was Kaula. Defrosch remembered a few encounters with the Saiyaness- one of which Reikiko was present for- though none of these chance meetings turned ugly for him personally, he felt as though they quite quickly would have. Kaula was indeed one stubborn and determined warrior- perhaps even that was an understatement.
Toma's information did check out with confirmation from Hikari. "If she didn't send you to pick Kaula up like you said she would then..." Defrosch folded his arms in thought. Such brash actions from someone that seemingly detested them. Nothing good could come from this. Snapping back into attention as little Yuki called out to 'Rei-mama', who was obviously not there. 'Hang on, but she isn't-- No I get it, it must be telepathy!' He looked around to see if anyone else was reacting similarly, and noted the sudden dread in Hikari's face before she latched onto Vi-Poi. 'Hmm. She could've been messaged too...'
To make matters worse, Yuki's mood took an instant nosedive as she began to cry once more. If there was one thing that made Defrosch's heart sink it was seeing such innocence being messed with or destroyed. It happened with Etoru, Kay-El and now with Yuki, and even though she a youngling he hardly knew he couldn't help but feel awful.
Worse still, the wayward Chimera had apparently employed the use of a forbidden technique; the Kikoho, something that could kill her if she went too far... But why would she go for that? Did the reward outweigh the risks she was facing? Did she come face to face with Zuccetta like everyone suspected? Defrosch had to know for sure... But the fact is, he wasn't nearly as close to Reikiko as some of those gathered, so getting a reading on her signature would be hard.
He did however, have a plan. Yuki was similar enough to what Defrosch remembers of Reikiko's signature to use as a reference. With that, he put all his focus towards space, trying to get as far out as his sense would allow to get even a blip of Reikiko. Yuki's presence not only made it easier, but possible to just barely find Reikiko's presence. It didn't look good at all. What was left of Reikiko was fading, and fast.
However, as Reikiko's life faded into nothingness, the power of another warrior erupted from within, suddenly breaking Defrosch's focus just as he figured out who it was. Toma's presence being somewhat similar clued him in on who it was...
It was Kaula.
The Arcosian stood there in disbelief staring into the sky, his eyes widened and he was left without the ability to accurately articulate his thoughts. "Something is very wrong out there..."

TOMA THE HEROToma felt Reikiko's energy dispear. Not just hiding, but gone. She was dead. Toma turned to Yuki, still holding her in his arms. The sight of the poor child saddened Toma. He knew how she felt. He had lost his own family. The pain had been nearly unbearable, even for him.
A child shouldn't have to go through that.
"Oh, you poor thing..." Toma whispered out, using all his strength to keep himself from crying too. Toma had always had a weak spot for kids, though he supposed he blamed that on being a father himself. He'd run a hand through Yuki's hair, holding her closer.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Toma whispered to her, rocking her back and forth slowly, while patting her back some too. He couldn't do anything to help Reikiko or Kaula. Vegeta was simply too far away for Toma to get there in time.
Of course, he was still listening to the others. He felt Kaula's energy spike, similarly to how Zucceta's did as well. He suspected she had ascended from Rei's death. Toma sighed, walking over to the others while holding Yuki still.
"Everyone." Toma began. "I propose all of us start training really hard. Blue Banner, Zetto Senshi, Galactic Patrol... I don't care who you are or from what group you hail from. We all need to band together to stop the Saiyan Solar Empire." He said, looking over to Vi-Poi.
"Vi-Poi, with your permission, I'd like to get Blue Banner members and Z-Fighter Members to start training together. Between our two groups, if we can get all of our fighters to around the same level, the Zucetta and her empire wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance." He said.
"And... There's a room in the lookout that we can use to assist us in this effort."

Vi-Poi nodded in agreement to Toma. “We will all need to start training as our existence depends on it. Because it does.” He noted with a frown that Cipher had left without saying a word. The KAOS veteran had been acting very isolated since their ruffle with Reikiko on the lunar surface. Had the Chimera gotten to him, somehow?
The wild energy fluctuations in deep space bombarded his chi analytics. Reikikko was in desperate straights, and losing. “You can’t sense what she is fighting because it is synthetic, yes.” The diminutive android said in agreement to Ninjin. “Though it is not unknown to me.” He strained his built-in scouter’s long range antenna, trying to glean what he could from the electric signature. Whatever it was, its electron-chi conversion rate was similar to his own.
His large blue eyes widened, his processors dumbfounded. What in the Universe could that be? The Solar Saiyan Empire didn’t possess that level of technology. Did they? The Blue Banner Army Site A Android Research Center labs had been sealed during the invasion. Had the Earth fallen to the Saiyans, or any of the facilities breached, there were meltdown protocols that would have went into play, reducing everything within kilometers to boiling goo. His mind raced to find how the Empire could have stolen such knowledge.
What sort of power source could be generating such a ki exchange? Vi-Poi’s original electron-chi conversion engine had been designed by old Red Ribbon’s top scientists from over two thousand years ago. It was one of a kind. His power core had been augmented by a Tuffle reactor and finally reincorporated into the Magitek Megacore. But all of that was founded upon the undergirding system. Energy couldn’t come from nothing. What source could the Imperial Saiyans have found?
Slowly, dread leaked into his circuits. He recognized parameters that would have fit Blue Banner cyborg soldiers. Had one of them been kidnapped?
“It seems like Queen Zucceta has a powerful new ally.” Vi-Poi said, his brow furrowing. He was unnerved. At every turn, the defenders of Earth were losing. First Bing. Now Reikiko. “What is for certain, is we can no longer think to resolve situations by ourselves. Whenever… whatever this is… comes, we will have to face it together.”

It didn't take much effort for someone with the ability to sense ki that something was going on in Vegeta. Not only did Reikiko's energy skyrocket beyond anything that it normally could have been, but after it seemed to reach its peak it rapidly declined, and shortly after that decline it was clear that Reikiko's presence had disappeared like a flame being snuffed out... she had lost her life. Hikari had closed her eyes, seemingly trying to steel her heart for what was to come. Her heart was filled with both grief and anger, and somewhere even a little bit of regret, if only she had been there with Reikiko... No, she needed to prepare to carry on Reikiko's wishes, and that meant training Etoru and Letu.
"Etoru, if Maeve is inside the lookout please ask her to borrow some senzu beans. I'll help you set up Reikiko's old training simulator."
However, at the same time she said this Yuki's body trembled slightly, her eyes briefly widening in surprise before they were cast toward the surface, a few tiny steps being made backwards as she whispered in a shaky tone.
"Yuki only wanted to be with Rei-mama forever..."
It seemed the child had sensed the death of her mother, the tears slowly subduing as she looked up at Toma, and the Saiyan warrior would likely notice how the sparkle of liveliness in her eyes that children were known to have, that warmth that even adults possessed, for it represented the will to live, was a sparkle that had started to fade away.
"But Yuki is now left alone..."
The child's energy level seemed to slowly lower, and at the same time the words that were spoken by her likely would have hurt the most.
"A world without Rei-mama... isn't a world... Yuki wants to live in..."
Hikari had moved rather swiftly, a small chop being given at the back of the child's neck, a soft blow enough to make her lose consciousness and be scooped up in her arms.
"Is that how things will go Administrator? Are we simply going to wait for another invasion, the very thing Reikiko tried to prevent with her sacrifice? While I agree that we need to train, and that this is a threat we can't handle by ourselves, I don't wish to see the empire set even another foot upon our planet, especially with the intention to dominate. I'm going to go back to the Bamboo Forest to train Etoru and Reikiko's other student."
She could feel Kaula's presence rising, that similar sensation she had felt in the past, an ascension beyond the form of a Super Saiyan, but if Reikiko lost then...
"At least she won't be alone..."
