Pin finally finished some routine maintenance on the Pixie Blue. All outer systems and sensors were secured in place, landing gear was oiled and repaired, and he'd finally removed the last of those pesky cosmic barnacles that had somehow gotten attached on his way to Earth in the first place. He'd stayed on Earth far longer than anticipated, and after receiving a mysterious, garbled transmission from Namekian space it was finally time to leave.
He landed in front of the boarding ramp, where he was waiting for Kay-El and her Nana Ban to load up whatever belongings they happened to have. The little girl had recently joined the White List as a Hawk before dropping a fairly enormous truth bomb on Pin. When he'd told her he was leaving, she'd expressed a desire to come along. He'd been surprised, but all things considered he wouldn't mind the company while traveling, and Habana would probably be impressed that he'd managed to recruit such a young fighter with such great potential.
Pin also still had a lot of questions for the girl.
"Kay-El, are you sure you still want to come? I'm sure you've got friends here who would miss you, and the universe is a harsh place sometimes. I know you can take care of yourself in a fight, but we might get in over our heads out there. If you want to back out now, that's fine. I can always come back to Earth to visit. But once you get on that ship, there's no going back until you have one of your own or until my mission is complete."
